Waist is much looser than measurement.
The flex in waist in addition to it being oversized creates a poor fit – scrunched up under belt. Unable to wear. Too difficult to return and given to Op Shop. Disappointing.

WRANGLERS—‘AUTHENTIC’–CAN’T BEAT THEM.
I purchased the–‘Dark Indigo’ , Color (perfect deep blue color that is even coloring all through–‘no dark and light patches’). I am 62 years age and have no body fat at all–but have the typical–’rounded belly for my age’,, I have bought local cheap jeans and have always had to buy at least 44 inch waist and that left the rest of the jeans very baggy in the legs (like wearing a sack),, So i bought the ’42 x 29′,, thinking i would need the inbuilt stretch waist,, but i didn’t need to use the–‘stretch waist’ (a bit large in the waist–NEED TO GO DOWN TO 36 WAIST’,, Length was a bit long,, but because these jeans are designed to–‘wrap around the–‘high natural waist’,, they don’t need to have a seamstress to cut them shorter. The quality is the–‘best on the market’. I will buy another pair but in the ‘lighter–‘stone wash’,, and get the—’36 x 29′,, the stretch will then make them the absolute perfect fit; ‘absolute–‘Perfect Size In The Waist’ ( they did not shrink at all )’ 36 x ’29 ‘,, Finally with the stretch pulled to the maximum diameter–‘ THEY FIT PERFECTLY ‘,, The stretch feature gives a lot of slack (as said, i usually at minimum wear 42″ waist–Now with these the 36″ inch waist is now–‘PERFECT FIT’ ( And a 27 inch leg length would be the perfect leg length for me..only 29 inch available.. I will get a seamstress to take these up by 2 inches)—–Now i have the–‘Dark Indigo Color’,, in the same size as the ‘Stone Wash’,, which fitted perfectly with the stretch waist in the size–’36×29 (there is plenty of stretch built in),, So after trial and error of starting with 42 inch waist then to 40 inch waist and then to 38 inch waist ; finally to 36 inch waist is perfect (allow a lot of slack down sizing when ordering)—RECOMMEND THESE WRANGLER—‘AUTHENTICS’–TO ALL PEOPLE’.

Really Comfortable Jeans
I’ve tried a lot of jeans over the past few years and they’ve all been a bit short at the top end. These Wranglers are just a little bit longer up the waist which I find more comfortable than most which are akin to the ‘hipster’ style jeans.

Jeans were covered in gold and dirt
Ordered two pairs of the jeans. The first pair were fine. Opened the second pair and the jeans and the bag they came in were covered in what appeared to be mould and dirt.Unfortunately missed the return window, but this is the second time I’ve bought jeans through Amazon and they’ve been defective (the others were form a different seller which had one of the pockets seemingly burned off).If you can get the jeans they’re good enough fit, but no longer trust Amazon to provide what was ordered.

Dont buy it’s not worth it !
I bought these on 22nd Jan 2021 . wore them 5 months straight from Monday to Friday 6am to 3pm. And this is the result!! Stitches came out from pocket and the back pocket is totally worn out.I just don’t understand. How come you call this durable? How do you claim these last years? How does this help the environment? Feel like a total joke to me. Also , the jeans I buy from target for 15$ lasts more than these.I also read some reviews saying they wore it for 40+ years. maybe they do in classic jeans I don’t know. But dont buy the “Comfort Flex” its just not worth it.

I like this jeans. My only concern is, I am not too confident that this is original Wrangler. I don’t see their authentic double stitch on the outside of the jean. But fit wise it’s just perfect.
