One of the most satisfying and best scented candles out there!
Hello everyone, my name is John and this is my honest opinion on this product.You can buy candles almost anywhere. With so many retailers and brands, it is hard to choose which ones to buy. Maybe you like how one smells but it is too small. Maybe you like how one smells but it is too expensive. Well my fellow candle buyers, look no further than the Vanilla Bean Woodwick Jar Candle by Virginia Candle Company. Now I have to say this was a gift for a friend but I have owned many different Virginia Candle Company Candles in the past and I have loved them all. They are a conversation piece around the holidays and whenever family is over I always hear, “What is that smell? It smells great!” or “What is that crackling sound, is that the candle?” Now, for someone who has never bought one of these candles before, you may not know that these candles actually do make a nice crackling noise as they burn. Nothing dramatic enough to make the in-laws think there is a raging, crackling fire in the other room at thanksgiving, but not quiet enough that you have to tell everyone to quite down so you can admire that satisfying crackling and popping coming from the candle. It is honestly probably my favorite attribute to these candles. I just love that little crackle so much because of how satisfying it is .Anyway, you are probably tired of reading me talking about my obsession of crackling candles so here is what I can tell you about the smell. They have many great scents that are a pure delight to your nostrils. These candles give off a scent that is noticeable, but not too faint. The scent is strong, but not overpowering. Each of these candles smell just perfect. Now the reason I choose to review this specific scent of candle is because it is my favorite. It truly smells like vanilla bean, one of my favorite smells. Another notable attribute to these candles is the duration of burn time you have. Unlike your traditional wick, these candles burn longer and better. Plus they give a pretty little flame which looks a bit different from your generic candle. Anyway, thats all I really have to say.In conclusion, I would highly recommend this candle or any other candle by Virginia Candle Company. If you ask me how high these candles raise the bar, I would tell you that they are the bar. Nothing can beat them. But in all seriousness, I really do enjoy these candles and have given quite a few of them to my friends and family as gifts after they had asked me about them. These candles really are unique from any other because of the wick they use. If you are considering these candles, I really would encourage you to purchase one because you will not be disappointed with it. I will admit they are a bit pricey compared to your generic candle, (I mean seriously, 18 dollars for a candle) but these truly are a higher quality of candle compared to other brands. Amazing smell and last long
This candle scent is sweet and fills the room with it really well. It smelled stronger when I lighted it up. Each layer has its own specific scent so I did not get bored with this candle. And the glass came packed really well and safe. Worth to buy for present or just make cozy atmosphere

Love Both the Scent and the Crackling Sound
I really love the scent of this candle, especially during the holidays. The crackling sounds with the wood wick make this candle festive, and it seems to burn for a very long time. I’ve purchased several of these WoodWick candles and have not been disappointed. They are a bit more expensive, but worth it.

Why would anyone get a different candle
After experiencing this one? You wouldn’t! The scent is on point. At first I didn’t like the crackling sound because it sounded a bit off. Maybe it had to adjust itself because now I love it. It sounds exactly like a fireplace.

Time you light it!
Time you light it, it becomes fragrant. So so blissful, I recommend lighting 10 minutes before company arrives. Very romantic and aromatic. If you’re an inside smoker, light it 20 minutes before company arrives.

Favorite candle ever

I like the crackling but there’s not enough smell
After reading the reviews I expected the candle to have more of a smell. I was disappointed. I ordered the Vanilla Bean, which has a lighter sent and is somewhat chemical smelling. I had to stick it right under my nose to smell it – it did not go around the room when lit. Given the price, I doubt I will order another of these candles. However I did like the crackling sound of the wood wick, which is reminiscent of a nice fire in the fireplace.

Lots of black smoke
Maybe a fluke, maybe a bad wick, but put off a ton of black smoke. Took away from the scent. Probably not what the doctor ordered either. I hoped once it burned down a bit it would stop, but it didn’t. Used about half, tossed the remaining.

I ve had 2 of these in ’round’, one oblong with 2 wicks and now VANILLA BEAN HURRICANE. I was extremely fortunate to find the first on sale and the next 2 at our local GROCERY OUTLET STORES. I LOVE these!! They burn cleanly and all the way down to bare glass with ‘crackle ‘ all the way! I also ‘found’ one on a shelf that had sat 4 years– blew off the dust and it lit right up!! (I said I love candles– NOT that I m a good housekeeper. . .😉🙃This VANILLA BEAN burns with a ‘higher’ flame and a TON of ‘crackle’! This is what everyone is getting for Christmas from MEEEE!!(Shhhhhh)

Wouldn’t purchase unless there’s a sale or deal but this scent(s) are absolutely incredible and I love the crackle of the wood wick. I’m mostly into melting waxes from Scentsy but it’s nice to have a wonderful smelling candle during the colder months in New England.

I believe this is the first Woodwick candle I’ve ever purchased. I had no idea if it was worth it’s nearly $20 price tag (it is) but dessert is my favorite food group so I was willing to take a chance. And, let me tell you, the aroma does ::not:: disappoint. It smells like freshly baked cookies, chocolate brownies, caramel and vanilla frosting all baked into one! It is most definitely one of the yummiest candle concoctions I’ve come across. The throw of the scent lingers perfectly. Your home will smell like a bake shop! I will definitely be going back for seconds 😋
