Seems to be very intriguing for my baby. Helps with tummy time and holding his attention out in front of him. Some pages are crinkly too which he also enjoys. He’s not fond of the mirror yet though. Must make sure you take the plastic film off the mirror

The little mirror is kind of flimsy and ours came with a small dent in it, but baby still loves it. The other pages are super cute and are the crinkly material that baby loves. Would definitely recommend this for tummy time!

A hit with the baby!
I got this for my newborn niece, and she absolutely LOVES it! At this stage, she can’t hold it or anything yet (she’s far too little for that), so we hold it up for her. But it’s so cool to see her little eyes light up, widen, and move along with the pages of the book.The pages are nice and big, too, and the images are super crisp and clear. Also, as a sewist, I can truly appreciate the quality and craftsmanship of this book — it’s well made with good quality, durable fabrics and plastics. I washed it the first time we used it (which we always do with soft toys). I didn’t feel comfortable throwing it in the washing machine, even on the gentlest program, so I just hand washed it in a shallow plastic tray, patted and gently pressed it with a towel, and let it dry out on a drying rack. Took a good two days or so to dry out, but ultimately nothing was warped or wrecked; the mirror stayed in tact and all the sound-effect pages were fine, and there was only the tiniest bit of dye bleeding.All in all, very happy with it so far, and I hope my niece will play with it even more as she grows bigger!

Tummy time is important for your kid… but it can be a little less stimulating as there isn’t much to look at.This toy has a mirror and lots of fun pictures to keep them entertained. It is simply put together, but it does its job well.

This is a cute tactile baby book. I think baby will enjoy playing with it and hearing the crinkly sounds. The little animals are happy and cute (though the “dolphin” isn’t actually a dolphin). He/she will love gazing in the mirror, as well. (It’s a very good size.) The colour scheme is contrasting and simple – black, white and red – easy for baby to see. Good for both boys and girls.This book has two little tabs and can be hung on the back of a car seat so that baby can gaze & play while in the car.

My 11 month old uses this mirror often as one of her ‘toys’ that she rotates from in her crib. Along with soft toys, this flippable toy has little pieces with different shades of contrast of red white and black.I did not use the hanging feature.

Great MUST HAVE for little ones
This book/mirror has it all and I know my granddaughter at almost 3 months will love it. I babysat her recently and she loved the little mirror hanging on her play mat. THIS is so much better for her tummy time AND most important, it is washable so I can just let her drool n chew away. So versatile for home or car. It’s hard to tell from the site pictures but the triangle design holds the mirror at a nicely upright angle for a child on their tummy on the floor. I found you need to take some care peeling the plastic off the mirror. It is doable without leaving plastic residue in the stitching by pulling at a 90 degree angle. Grandma approved!

Cute well constructed toy with lovely high contrast black and white images in a flip book to stimulate a young baby.The ability to fold it into a tent and stay upright during tummy time is great. I haven’t removed the mirror protective film yet (looks good underneath) – will be so much fun to watch our baby raise his head to look up at himself and the images. The crinkly pages and little extras (like the shark tail) are fun and stimulate sound and touch as well.It’s plush and soft I would feel comfortable letting my baby play with it.Can also hang in the car – looking forward to playing with this sensory and multi functional toy!

This is a cute little toy — it’s a book of sorts, but also a standing mirror. All the edges are soft and it’s light so no risk of injury.I like the high contrast for a young baby because they can see the shapes more clearly. This book/mirror kit is the perfect addition to your tummy time routine. Featuring bold black and white images on soft page covers, visual development opportunities are available for young infants. The bold design makes it easy for visual tracking. There are also multiple pages of designs to show your infant and tactile features (e.g. fish fins that fold out of the page) for infants to interact with. The final page is a mirror which is always a hit with babies. The major drawback that it is rather difficult to clean. Since there is a mirror, I don’t suggest putting it into the wash. I washed it with a sponge and some soap, but this took a long time to dry.Pros:- Ideal for newborns and young babies for visual development- Bold black and white design is good for visual tracking in young infants- Folding design features for tactile play (e.g. fish tails that fold out of the page)- Can flip through the pages to show infant different patternsCons:- Not the easiest to clean; I washed using soap and sponge which took a long time to dry; doesn’t state if it is machine washable but with the mirror, I would assume not

This tummy time mirror is a wonderful gift for first time parents. It’s one of the things that parents don’t think to buy before the baby comes but something that is very much appreciated during those long days when you are trying to get baby to lie on their stomachs.The mirror part stands up well and the little animal cartoons on the pages are super cute. Some of them are interactive with little shiny flaps to flip that will motivate baby to stick out their arms to try and touch the book. They are nice big pictures and the black and white contract is great for the 0-6 month old babies. It’s also very light and portable, could bring in the car for long trips to try and distract baby. Most babies love looking at themselves in a mirror and anything that encourages them to lie on their stomach for more than a few seconds is a win.It’s well made, durable and made of an easy-to-clean material in case baby spits up on it. Highly recommend as a gift to new parents!
