    Convenient Microwave

I like this microwave because it has different functions and it’s super convenient. It comes with the tools for oven and a recipe. I like how quiet it is when it’s heating up food, unlike other microwaves that are noisy when they are heating up food. The food gets hot and the plate is warm after they’re heated, unlike other microwaves which they cause the plate to be super hot and dangerous to grab. It feels really safe. This microwave is high quality as well and I love it so much. I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family.

    good quality!loves it!

I already used it more than one month! It works very great! The color is very advanced. That’s a lot of capacity. It can be used as a microwave or an air fryer. Save money! And a roasting pan and a rack to roast meat on! Heat up fast too! Easy to operate! My son can heat his own milk too! I use it all the time to make roast chicken wings! That’s great! Oil-free. Very healthy! Loves it!

    I like it

We have had this microwave about 2 months now, after my not-even-a-year-old GE crashed and died, and they wouldn’t warranty it. I like this one (it was recommended on CNET, which is how I found it). It’s a little more complicated, yes, but it doesn’t take long to figure out the basics. I saw someone review it and start by saying something like “I haven’t read the manual and I don’t intend to.” I don’t recommend that approach. You should read the manual where the settings are discussed (or at least the quick reference guide). It isn’t intuitive, but in exchange you get a fairly clean interface and a compact unit that doesn’t swallow the whole countertop. I love, love the defrost function– it’s hands-down the best I’ve seen in a microwave. The rest are ok. I can do chicken wings on convection, bread on broil, and reheat all sorts of things. I think some of the settings are not necessary, so I just keep the quick guide nearby and use it as a guide (ie I don’t notice any difference when I airfry chicken nuggets or french fries on the same setting, except for time, and I check that anyway, so I just pop it on the first one I come to). I love the convect and airfry/micro combinations. They give me crisp food that is also cooked inside. I will use this pretty much exclusively in the summer because I hate firing up my oven when it’s hot. A couple of notes:–the unit is not as strong a micro as package times indicate, so you may need to go longer than the cook times on items like frozen veggies. It’s nbd (maybe +1 minute), but something to keep in mind.–it doesn’t have a sensor (I missed that when I ordered it), so “reheat” is just time-based (you need to check the food).–it doesn’t get super hot like my old one did around it. That said, I keep it on a heat-proof mat to protect my countertops.–the top heating element is in the back, so food in the middle of the plate (rather than the sides) doesn’t get as brown in the oven/broil/airfryer. It must be moved around a bit.If you want something you can just fire up and not think about, I would get a different model (just not the GE, because I’m not the only person that sucker died on for over $400😡). However, I like how small this is, how nice it looks, and it does a great job for like 95% of what I need. It’s also a lot less expensive and, supposedly, will last longer (I’ll definitely update if it doesn’t). I’m happy with it so far.

    Fantastic microwave with extra features

The media could not be loaded.

Every single microwave I had bought had thankfully lasted forever. I only had to replace them as I moved from a poor college student to owning my own home and needing something that would fit the rest of the kitchen’s decor. Now I wanted to get one for our mountain vacation home where space is more limited. Microwaves are a must-have, but air fryers are so convenient and can very quickly whip up a meal or freshen pizza and fried chicken back to their delicious glory. This Toshiba is our first combination appliance that combines a microwave and an air fryer. I do not care about any of the other features, though they are nice-to-haves for the occasional recipe that may call for it.I love this sooo much better then any of our microwaves. It does so much more without having to take up 2 spaces (no separate air fryer needed). One of my favorite parts after using this Toshiba for some time: the defrost mode. It does it perfectly without cooking on the edges. Some reviews for Toshiba combo units say they are too complicated. My mom is not too intuitive and is old school on a lot of things, but this was pretty easy right out of the box for her. If there was something we were not sure about, I used the cheatsheet it included.Microwave function works as expected. Air fryer: it cooked some crispy quail and pork belly. It perked back up leftover pizza, fries, chicken nuggets, and fried chicken. It had also toasted bread with fig spread and brie cheese nicely that I then topped off with thinly sliced, Granny Smith apple. Delicious! Now, here’s my ONE BIG complaint… the price. It’s a bit higher than a standalone microwave and some less expensive air fryers, but its biggest advantage is the space saving for our mountain cabin. I imagine that this would fit very well in an RV too.

For those who like air fryers and defrosting

I purchased this microwave in late November 2022, and am maintaining my original, 3-star review below. This update is from April of 2023. I do not recommend this microwave at all. I have lower usage than average, since I am alone, and air fryer and convection functions I used up till last week now no longer work. For example, I had used the preset air fryer setting for chicken legs, and they were crisp and well-cooked in the past, yet trying the exact same function this week left me with chicken that was raw inside. I successfully cooked meats with convection, much as timing was ‘hit or miss,’ and the same meat I managed to cook a week ago came out raw inside. My reporting the problem to the vendor led to my being told to be sure food was defrosted and that I used proper cooking times. My last microwave was working well after 17 years – this one failed in a matter of months!I wish I could have replaced the microwave, with grill and roast functions, that I already had, but it was 17 years old, and I feared it might ‘die,’ so I got this model with a special Cyber deal. I just ruined a steak in it!With my other microwave, I could choose ‘grill’ or ‘roast,’ press a number for the type of meat, put in the weight, choose ‘rare,’ and have the cooking time automatically calculated. This is totally hit and miss. Instructions, and the cookbook, do not list times for broiling or cooking, and the presets are only for air frying and defrosting. Even the air frying presets listed are very limited. I attempted to prepare meat using an air fryer recipe, and it did not work. (I gather that one use ‘convection,’ enter a temperature and time, and hope for the best.) The ‘combi’ mode was supposed to give me tender meat, but there is no indication of cooking time for whatever type of meal one is preparing. Pressing ‘broil’ leads to presets – but the instructions do not say what these presets mean. All times have to be entered manually. The only function I could have used, entering the weight, was defrost – not cooking!I’ve been using Toshiba products since the 1970s, and thought of them as quality. The inadequate instructions, need to enter cooking times manually (without a clue as to how long it takes), presets that only seem to be for defrosting, and only automatic ‘microwave’ choices (such as beverage or potato), makes me wonder just how I’m going to prepare meat dishes – and the description on the Amazon page had given me the impression that the ‘combi’ cooking and ‘inverter’ would make the meats better than ever.I nearly gave it a ‘2’ rating, but allowed three stars because, with the Prime Deal discount, one could not beat the price.

Save the space. Get an All-in-One

So far I’ve been impressed with both functions and ease of use. The first thing I used it for was defrosting 2 chicken leg quarters. No hot spots like other microwaves I’ve used. This morning I made hash browns and then cracked some eggs over the top. It was easy using the convection feature to get crispy hash and the eggs in two additional minutes. No big greasy mess.

Good alternative to deep oil frying

The media could not be loaded.

I have two 6 years old kids who love fry food. We had been using our current Cuisinart air fryer 3 to 4 times a week. So having a good air fryer is very important for our family. Recently my kids had burnt their hands with our old air fryer, which led me to search for a machine that would allow a few methods of cooking and does not get extremely hot outside when in used. While my old fryer was good in cooking most food, but there were times that it caused burnt food. The thing I disliked the most was that it got extremely hot outside when cooking. This Toshiba got hot inside but barely got warmed outside when in used, which made it safe if my kids touched it by accident.I tested it out by making pizza rolls on day 1. The second day I made pizza rolls, bagel bites pizza and Asian egg rolls. Third day I made French fries. All three days the food came out prefect. The food was toasty hot inside with crispy outside. As for the microwave feature, it heated up food and drink quickly. It worked as expected. I haven’t tried the other cooking feature yet. This Toshiba is our first combo machine and I am still trying to get use to it. It was not hard to use, but I just need to get used to the control features. The good things are that it provided a cheat sheet and a cookbook as guides. The only minor things I don’t like is that the air frying feature is set at 425 ddegree with preset times. I would need to set my desire cook time with a kitchen timer. Overall, I am satify with the results.

    It works.

The instructions are horrible. The manual is vague at best on how to cook. If your a vegetarian, it’s great. But if you want to expand on what you can cook, it’s worthless. Try and find out the settings for pork chops….not there. Steak? Not even mentioned. Air fry? I’d starve if I tried to use that feature and the instructions. There are better products out there that have detailed instructions. Gave this thing to my neighbor, can’t stand them. Horrible neighbor.

    It’s great, but…

The instructions and cookbook are inadequate and leave a lot to be desired. You are left to figure it out on you own, as far as what settings to use and how long to cook things if you are making anything other than what is in the cookbook. I’ve used the broil, air fry, convection, and microwave settings and, I’ve had to guess on cook time, and also temperature and cook times. However, as a woman who lives alone, I love that I can use it to make meals without heating up my big oven. I’ve used both the convection setting and the air fry setting for roasted vegetables. The air fry worked better, and the vegetables turn out better and faster than when I make them in my regular oven.So far, I’m happy with it. I just wish there was a better cookbook to go with it.

AIR FRYER NOT ADJUSTABLE TEMP PLEASE read before buying.

Hello,This talks about all the functions. Please read before purchasing!Air Fryer:The air fryer temp is NOT adjustable and you can NOT set the time for it either. Nor does the manual or QSG list the time on those presets. You have to push one to see how long it is.Microwave:You can adjust time and power level. It does have “preset” options but you either need an awesome memory or keep the manual handy. Once again it does not tell you how long each preset setting is for, you have to add the weight of the food as well to use this feature, then it will show the time it will run for.Pro-Defrost: 6 preset options are available that are not adjustable.1 preset (def 7) allowed you to change the time.*It is not listed anywhere that shows the defrost temp so I will (once again assume/guess) they are all the same.Broil: Temp not adjustable (ovens usually have a high/low choice for comparison). You can set your own timer. Def let it preheat a bit.Combination Setting; You can choose the time, not temp. The default temp on convect setting alone is 350, so I assume it is the same here? I was unable to get an answer for this.Setting 1 Microwave and convection run simultaneouslySetting 2 Microwave and broil work simultaneously*This is the hardest learning curve as there are no helpful suggestions for this. Good luck guessing. If you figure this out (ie: not ruining every meal) PLEASE leave a review on how to use this setting well!Speedy cooking: Pushing the button adds 30 seconds.Convection:Convect without preheat: Just what is sounds like. Turn it on, pick a temp and time insert food.Convect with preheat: Turn on, add temp, then press start TWICE. It beeps then you add food and set time.Auto Menu: 11 options (these are not adjustable, just a preset option)A1-A5 Microwave runs at 100% – Must select food weight alsoA6 Microwave runs at 130%A7-9 Convect (it picks temp 400, 325, and 375 respectively)A-10 100% micro plus 400 convectA-11 Micro Popcorn settingThe numbers A1-A11 represent food items. If this sounds confusing, it is. Until you memorize it (no thanks) you will need to ref the manual. Not listed on the QSG provided. (please see pic)Clock setting and lock function: Easy to use and setEco function: This is to turn off the display light only. Basically, if it has a light on and the unit is empty/not in use the lights turn off. Not sure how much this saves you but it’s an option. It turns the display light back on as soon as you open the door.IMO-There is a huge learning curve. I found the preset settings pretty useless because I was not getting out the manual every time I wanted to use one or memorize it. If I was going to keep this device I would make my own list and keep it close by.I would absolutely use it in all options as nonstop as you can, to begin with as there is a 30-day return on it.Please Note * The instructions are not very clear. If you hated reading the first portion of my review, this is not the product for you.Pros (IMO): Noise: It IS very quiet!! I’m sensitive to noise and have chronic migraines and it didn’t bother me at all. I was very surprised! It made about half the noise my current microwave did, in all settings.Safety: Lock function is wonderful if you have children or an impatient spouse.Heat:It didn’t get that hot on the outside. It does need a bit more room around it than suggested. The specs are: 1″ away from the back wall, 3″ above it, and both sides 3″ away from everything. I’d factor that in when deciding how much space it will use. Product dimensions are: ‎19.5 x 17.6 x 11.5 inches* I did not get the stainless steel oneCons:Air fryer presets. Not being able to adjust the temp was a huge drawback for me. I got this one for the air fryer option. This is the primary reason I chose to return it.Cleaning:You must clean it every time you use it. Using the air fryer and then switching to the microwave is a great way to imbed the oil/food particles on it. It was twice as hard to clean off so I just stopped to clean it every time.Smell: Whatever you cook lingers a lot. I found keeping the door open for about 10 minutes helped. Nothing like the desert cake smelling like the chicken before it. The other reason I am returning it is due to its complicated usage and complete lack of comprehensive directions. By the way, the recipe book has recipes for the convection oven ONLY, l guess their cooks couldn’t figure out how to get good results from the other functions either, lol! I consider myself pretty intelligent but this is one product that was difficult and I found myself using the manual on every function every time (except the microwave). I’m sure I’d have it memorized in time but I didn’t like the design of it all. The outside is very sleek and attractive.Your enjoyment of this combo unit is going to depend on what kind of cook you are just like any kitchen appliance. I loved a lot of functions so I will be watching out for the next release and hope they consider feedback to improve it.There’s my two cents, hope some of it was useful.

6-1 Airfryer has one temp, ,425 can’t cook frozen pizza

Overall I am pleased with the product for the price I got in the lightning deal. So far I have tried microwave, airfry and convection. All worked well. I didn’t realize the airfryer only has one temp connected to presets. It still worked ,but you may have to watch things closer since you can’t control temp and time. For toast, you have to flip it, but it toasted quickly.I find it helpful to have a pair of tongs around to flip things or grab the basket or rack. I have to pull the rack out to flip my sandwich or toast. You can’t cook a frozen pizza cause it only cooks the top and you can’t flip it like toast.I found it easy to use after going through the book. I thought the book could have explained the combo modes better. At first I was annoyed the cookbook only had convection recipes, but then realized the air fryer is presets/one temp, so they don’t have other recipes.

a space saving, high quality, efficient, and so money saving appliance.

I was lucky enough to find a multifunctional microwave that I wasn’t expecting. We are always looking for an air fryer. Lately, we had some problems with our microwave. The 7 in 1 is perfect for us. Initially, I was concerned that it would be too complicated to use. Today, I tried it. It was so successful. I follow the instruction to clean before use. The stainless steel interior is smooth and easy to clean with dish Detergent and wet cloth. First, I made French fries by using broil setting. Some light smell appeared in about 5-10 min, but did not appear again when I cook next dish. The second is the chicken legs by using the bake setting. Those were definitely more efficient than the countertop small oven, in terms of faster, even cooking, and crispy. Last, using microwave to heat food. I choose P100, and felt it heats up quickly. No splash at all dishes. I really felt a sense of accomplishment. The device is quiet in all settings. I could barely hear a few steps away, so I thought it was done cooking, while it was still running. I have not tried sound off yet, that may even better.Another part which I like is the nonstick Bake tray. On the bottom of this tray, I find a layer of soft silicon like material. I like it because it exhibits the function of cushion, heat isolation, noisy reduction, and scratch resistance.I can’t wait for trying other ways, such as Combi, Auto, cake bake, etc.I have to give it five stars. This is definitely a space saving, high quality, efficient, and so money saving appliance.

    Nice combi

I really like the combination of micro, broiler, convection and air fryer – very handy and space saving. Though it is a tad smaller than I would’ve liked, but so far that hasn’t been a problem (rarely do I need to fit a 20# turkey in it). I do have to keep the manual nearby, at least until I use it enough to know the different options. I’m even liking the simpleness of the one turn knob. It seemed odd in the sales ad, but in real life I find I prefer it – it eliminates all those messy fingerprints and the chance of accidentally entering 50 minutes instead of 5.

Not bad, but the microwave could be a bit stronger.

My first unit started to emit smoke when I tried to use the non microwave functions. Contacted Toshiba and the sent another unit and didn’t want the old one back, so I recycled it. Saved the trays etc. I figured since the microwave cavity was smaller than my previous one, it would cook about as fast, even though it was a few watts less. It takes almost twice as long as my old 1200 watt Panasonic (that just stopped working after 6 years). I do like the convection and combination settings, it lets me cook things that just don’t work right in a straight microwave.

This unit has particularly good functions. I had another TOSHIBA and really liked it due to its many functions. The time buttons were the best and easiest way to set the amount of time.Getting used to this units different functions.

    Toshiba Inverter Microwave

I had bought a Toshiba laptop many years ago, but this is my first time purchase Toshiba Inverter 6-1 microwave. This microwave came with many functions, such as air fryer, boiler, baking, defrost, regular microwave, etc. This type of microwave is new for me. I have used their regular microwave, baking and air fryer function. So far the result came out pretty good. This microwave is good for small portion of cooking goods or meal. It is very convenient because I don’t really need to pay too much attention to it and it does it own job. It was first a little confused how to use this microwave, but the manual is very clear and understandable. For example, when I do air fryer, some of the functions, such as chicken wing or French fries is already preset and I don’t need to put temperature or timing to cook certain items. You have to refer it back to manual.I think this microwave is very convenient for me to prepare my meals. I don’t have to keep track of fire and grease when cooking. It’s very easy to prepare frozen meals. Also, I think is very easy to clean and have not make a mess when prepare meals. So far it’s working great for me. I am still testing out out other functions in this microwave.

    Fix error5

Customer service is on point. Bought first one, e5 error code popped up right off the bat(microwave function not working). They sent me a replacement immediately without having to lug the broken one to the shipping office. Have had this unit for a year now and I can tell you it was a great purchase. I’m a track driver so this thing gets bounced around all day and is still working exactly as it should! Very impressed. Update 12-8-23: microwave popped up as error5 again had to return, went with a different brand.

I love the versatility. It is extremely convenient for me to not heat the house up by using the oven. The air fry feature has done a great crisping job. The microwave is a lower wattage but it still heats quickly. The presets are accurate and very useful.

    Mixed feelings on this microwave

We ordered this microwave because of the reputation of Toshiba. However, the unit stopped working after 2 months …not sure why, just stopped having power. We switched outlets to make sure it wasn’t that. So, on the reliability aspect, I would give this maybe 1 star. However, we reached out to the seller and explained the situation and they promptly sent a replacement – 5 star service! So, overall , 4 stars because the seller saved the day.

    Exactly what I needed

It’s not a giant microwave/air fryer so I won’t cook our Thanksgiving turkey in it this year … but I’ve never cooked a turkey or a large roast in a microwave before so its not a loss there.I actually love the size of this machine. It takes so little counter space and the inside is perfect for what I will use it for. If you are accustomed to baking a large pizza in your air fryer, keep looking. This one ain’t gonna do it for you. I happily gave away the Nuwave air fryer which was a pain, along with a larger Microwave. I love the cleaner look on our counter top. My husband is not a man who likes change but amazingly he really likes it. We have black granite counter tops and the black stainless (which is really not black but a dark SS) blends in great.I’ve read in the reviews that it has a learning curve before being comfortable using it . Bah! It takes common sense and the ability to read the options listed. I would encourage anyone considering purchasing it to watch a couple of reviews on YouTube. I watched three complete reviews and all reviewers got to the bare nitty gritty…pros and cons. Many more pros with a couple of understandable cons.If this old 72 yr girl can use it without reading the manual, anyone should be able to. I don’t regret one thing about purchasing it.

    A ghost lives in it..

Hello!I’m mostly writing this review to see if anyone else has been having the problem that we have experienced this week.Today our microwave just randomly turned on by itself. No one was in the kitchen with it and while sitting in the living room we heard it turn on. When we went to look at it there was nothing in the microwave and it was on and running, this happened twice as far as i know in the same day. The second time it happened I had just got home from dropping off my kid at her grandparents house, no one was home, when i walked into the kitchen the microwave was again running with nothing in it.. I opened the door and it had the over heated warm smell so i unplugged it.my husband looked it up it could either be a faulty front panel which would make sense to me if the issue was present in it earlier life (we have had this microwave since Feb 2023) or an issue with our electrical box.None of the reviews have reflected this issue but i was curious if anyone else has experienced it..

Big Improvement Over The 2003 Kenmore

This new little unit replaces an OLD microwave, and there is a learning curve! I am still using the instructions for everything I cook or defrost, but I hope to learn to use it without consulting directions. I think this will be a wonderful addition to my kitchen, and replaces several different appliances in one compact unit.

    Not a good product

First justlet me say that I had a convection/microwave oven for almost 30 years and the outside walls of that unit never got so hot that I couldn’t touch it. The outside walls of this new unit get very hot in convection/airfryer mode. There is an airfryer function button, but it goes straight to convection, which is a very similar function, but why say it airfries when it truly doesn’t. The ventilation system vents out just as much heat as the regular oven but a regular oven is much better insulated. I won’t need to heat the house this winter when I’m using it.

Doubt I will buy Toshiba Brand microwave ever again.

I finally dropped the glass microwave plate for this particular model. The instruction manual that came with it seemed to be written by a 5th grader and doesn’t cover a variety of common auto-functions including baked potato or mw popcorn. I was pleased with the air fryer functionality, however you have to monitor your food to ensure it doesn’t get burned. The issue I really have is that it lacks support from the manufacturer. I cannot find even a replacement generic glass plate that fits this model. When I went to the Toshiba website and used the online support tool, I get a message stating my model doesn’t even exist. If I was sold a brand that was delivered to another continent, shame on Amazon for not informing me beforehand. :-/. I spent $400 on this and about to toss to the curb.

    Versatile!

Ok, so I bought this for my 87 y/o mom but she decided to keep her old one…so I kept it! It is great. Only two of us for most nights for dinner so it can roast a pork chop nicely, airfry some freezer potatoes and microwave to steam the veggies. I had no idea that I would use it so much. It fits nicely on a shelf in my kitchen and can handle bigger meals as well. Great kitchen gadget!

Great machine but with some flaws

EDITED TO ADD: Nowhere in the manual is there a mention of a plastic film covering the keypad. After a couple of months of use, this film began wearing over the MICROWAVE button, making me think there was a defect with the control panel. There was no good edge to pull from. It got to the point where it was puckered up and I grabbed it and began peeling. It came off in one piece and had a large enough hole around the knob to come completely free. Now I’m wondering if there is another on the glass door!I love having a machine that “does it all” and saves me storage/counter space. That said, there are annoyances:1. The glass turntable scrapes and drags, apparently because the bumps on the bottom do not engage the slots in the Turntable Ring Assembly. This allows the Glass Turntable to move around and rub against the sides or bottom of the cavity. Hopefully the Seller can send a better-fitting Turntable.2. The process for running a function is unnecessarily complex. Pushing the button to select a function (microwave, broil, etc.) makes sense. Having to push another button to choose power level and then turn the knob turn the knob turn the knob to set the time is unwieldy. There should be a keypad entry for time.3. Same with temperature, and when a recipe calls for 380°F you have to choose between 375 or 400 since the temp changes in increments of 25°.4. I find it disingenuous that the Air Fry function only provides presets. When wanting to Air Fry something manually the book says to use Convection mode, since it is the same thing. ?

Combo convection oven microwave ideal for our small kitchen.

Our toaster oven and microwave both died at about the same time. I found this and decided to try it out. It’s small, but works well for our needs. Complicated

I’m just getting used to this appliance. I think there should be easier directions. I miss the most common tabs on the outside…as potato, beverage, etc. I resent having to learn letters as directions, such as H1, etc. I have used the microwave and convection oven successfully so far. It would be nice to have a list of time and/or settings for most popular uses. I do like the size and it will be lots easier for me to clean than the microwave and air fryer I purchased it to replace.

    Ghost turn on

We like this microwave but after about 6 months it would turn on the 30 second intervals by itself. It would do this over and over if we weren’t home. We had to be extra careful to not leave the metal rack that comes with it inside. You can use that metal rack for an air fryer but it will spark in the microwave function. I wrote the seller today and they responded within a couple hours and are sending us a new one.

This is a recent purchase. So far we absolutely love it. I have yet to try all the features. I wish there was a vented air fry basket that I could purchase to use with the 6 in 1 function version. I also would have liked a better instruction booklet. Highly Recommend

I got microwave a week ago and I love my new 6 in 1 microwave! I haven’t used all 6 things, and may never. But the microwave, air fryer and convection oven have worked amazingly. I heard criticism in other reviews about the operation (setting timer etc) but that hasn’t been a problem at all for me. I like that it is a little bit smaller. The sides don’t get hot, the top gets hot, but not too bad. My only complaint, which isn’t really a complaint because I knew that the microwave is only 700 watts. I’d prefer 1100 wattage but couldn’t find higher wattage that met all my other criteria. I’m very happy with my purchase, Highly Recommend.

I bought this to replace my older microwave and a separate air fryer and save space in my kitchen. So far very happy with it. The stainless-steel appearance is pleasant. Everything and more

Three reasons why I bought this. Compact size, get rid of toaster on counter top, price. We don’t have a huge kitchen, so I really wanted something as small as possible. This was just barely bigger than my 1983 compact microwave I had. It fit perfect and the same nook. I was able to get rid of my toaster over. This technically doesn’t toast, but just put your item in the thing and turn it on broil for a few mins and it’ll do the job. You may have to flip whatever you’re toasting in between. I’ve been eyeing the breville 3-in-1, but I couldn’t get myself to spend $500 on a damn microwave. This one is 1/2 the price. The dials and settings are weird. Read the directions. Also you can airfry for a specified amt of time. It’s all preset, you need to eat it or set yourself a reminder.I have yet to have to really take it apart and clean clean it. So idk how easy that’s going to be.

This micro/convection/air fryer does what it’s supposed to do. The only thing I’ve cooked that turned out noticably different is those Pillsbury cinnamon rolls. I cooked them on combi, and they were kind of crisp inside. But everything else turns out pretty well. Takes time to figure out all the possibilities. The one thing I’m not crazy about is, it’s really small. It might be smaller than what they say it is. If that doesn’t bother you, you should be happy with it. And, it’s super quiet.

    I’m very disappointed

This microwave was a big splurge for me. I expected better of Toshiba. It’s bad design and quality have been bugging me more and more as I’ve owned it, and after almost a year, I’ve had enough!!! The tripod metal rack (which I love) was not spaced equilaterally, so there’s no support on the two longer sides. My coffee spilled EVERYWHERE this morning, because I placed it a bit off center on the rack… The worst part is, the handle placement would be IDEAL as leg locations for a good tripod… nope, overlooked that one. It’s very sloppy like that. None of the lines match up, gaps are bad, and if you lose the cheat-sheet for the different mode functions, you won’t be able to use most of the presets because despite having a large enough display,,, they’re noted with simple alpha-numeric codes (A1, C3, etc). I wish I hadn’t bought it. No wonder it’s on sale for over $100 less than when I bought it.
