Pourquoi utiliser Torus ?
Comment fonctionne Torus ?
L’une des beautés de la solution Torus est sa simplicité. Il suffit de remplir le bol Torus jusqu’à ce que le réservoir soit plein et que le filtre soit couvert.
Remplacez le bouchon et tournez sur « Lock » pour transporter votre Torus ou « Flow » pour permettre à votre animal de compagnie de commencer à boire.
L’eau remplira bien la boisson jusqu’à ce qu’elle atteigne le haut de la sortie d’eau. Cela est suffisant pour votre animal de compagnie pour plonger l’eau, mais pas assez pour qu’il se renverse partout.
1) L’eau stockée est contenue dans les parois Torus.
2) L’eau douce est évacuée des parois à travers notre solution de filtration.
3) L’eau filtrée s’écoule dans le puits à boire où elle est maintenue à un niveau défini.

Les filtres à eau Torus contiennent du charbon actif qui aide à réduire les impuretés, les oligo-éléments et les arômes couramment présents dans les approvisionnements en eau.
Les filtres fonctionnent en absorbant les impuretés à l’intérieur des pores des nombreux granulés de carbone, dont chacun est très poreux.
Étant donné que le substrat carbone a une grande surface, les contaminants sont piégés.

Cette gamelle est super. C’est exactement ce que je recherchais. Ce n’est pas une fontaine à eau, elle ne fonctionne pas à l’électricité du coup pas de bruit dérangeant. J’en ai commandé 2 pour mes chiens et mes chats. Ils les ont de suite adoptées. Elles sont très stables, l’eau coule en fonction des besoins de l’animal, l’eau reste fraîche et propre. Le seul petit bémol : le prix qui est un peu élevé. J’espère ne pas être déçue avec le temps, mais je reste optimiste.

Great bowl…. dumb poodles
The bowl looks amazing. It sits solidly on the floor. I don’t think it would move around if they used it. I think if my poodles deigned to drink out of it, they would like it. They would lap up the cool refreshing water and none would spill over the side. I wouldn’t have to take paper-towel every time to the floor to clean up their water messes. I wouldn’t have to re-fill the absurdly small water bowl four million times a day because this one takes 2 liters while their current bowl can be measured in ml’s. I wouldn’t have to change socks because mine are constantly wet.But NO! These stubborn, stupid poodles can’t seem to get it through their tiny brains that I want them to use this bowl. They keep looking at me for water. They keep going into the bathroom to drink out of the toilet. They keep staring at me with their tongues hanging out and wondering where their water bowl is when it is right there beside their food. Obviously, I need to buy another breed of dog. Something smarter. A breed that appreciates the energy and resources that I pour into their comfort. Maybe a basset hound…

kleiner Nachteil ist halt der hohe Preis vorallem für die Wasserfilter. Aber es geht auch ohne. Auch Rabauken bekommen ihn nicht umgeworfen – was einem ein sicheres Gefühl gibt und unsere Maus trinkt sehr gerne daraus. Haben Ihn schon seit ca. 3 Jahren im Einsatz. Zur Reinigung muss man Muskeln haben (wenn man mal wirklich saubermachen mag) auch findet man darüber nichts in der Anleitung aber sonst ein guter Napf.

Large capacity water bowl
I swapped the 2 litre bowl for the one litre version, being more practical for a cat. The bowl is well made and automatically dispenses water “on demand”. Our cat has diabetes and so gets rather thirsty and this bowl takes out the guess work , lasting exactly 24 hours. My only real gripes are that the plastic screw-in cap can be rather fiddly (might be me) and the charcoal filters seem overpriced. However, the bowl works fine without filters.

I wish I could give this more than 5 stars. It’s really well made, is attractive, holds a lot of water, doesn’t leak when it’s locked, and it’s easy to clean. I just rinse out the tank every once in a while and use baby bottle tablets which I bought here on amazon for super cheap. This bowl is worth every penny.It’s so nice not needing to refill a bowl constantly, and knowing it’s refilling with clean water just feels so much more sanitary. We still need to clean the bowl itself of course, but it’s so easy to do and way less gross than a traditional bowl.When I received my package the cap was missing. I contacted Torus’s customer service on their website and they immediately got back to me and sent me a cap. I had it in a couple of days. It’s so refreshing to see a company be so responsive and helpful. Thank you so much Torus, for this amazing product and for having stellar customer service. You’ve made me and my dog very happy!

Ich konnte es mir nicht vorstellen, aber es sind kaum noch Wasserflecken auf dem Boden.Unsere Schäferhündin hat beim Saufen aus “normalen” Schüsseln eine Seenlandschaft hinterlassen.Klar hat es jetzt auch noch Tropfen auf dem Boden, aber das ist nichts im Vergleich zu vorher.Denkbar einfach in der Bedienung, deutsche Anleitung liegt bei.Nachtrag 30.11.2017:Der Napf muss wöchentlich gereinigt werden.Es wird von vielen hier angenommen, dass der Kohlefilter ausreicht, was aber nicht der Fall ist.Reinigung sollte mit Spüli oder Essigwasser erfolgen (danach gut ausspülen).Zusätzlich benutze ich Desinfektionstabletten alle 4 Wochen mit dem Filterwechsel (Milton, auch hier auf Amazon erhältlich-nicht die Mini-Tabletten!!-: https://www.amazon.de/Milton-100731978-Sterilisationstabletten-28-Tabletten/dp/B001G4F6H6)Den “Wasserauslass” reinige ich mit einem Wattestäbchen und gegen den Kalk im Trinkbereich benutze ich Zitronensäure.Es gibt dazu auch ein Video auf Youtube, ist allerdings in Englisch.

best water bowl ever!
i have tried a bunch of automatic plugin water fountains and got tired of filters that were difficult to change and install. thought i’d try this after hearing about it in either modern dog or cat magazine. its fantastic. pretty much turn the lid to remove to fill, to lock so it doesnt leak water into the bowl while travelling or to release the water for the critters to drink. filter just pops in and out.straightforward and easy to use. the dogs are already drinking more water. got two and now will be looking at one litre ones for the cats. expensive yes but worth it for ease of use, functionality and appearance. four paws up!

Der perfekte Wassernapf mit nachfüllbarem (!!) Kohlefilter und konstanter Wasserqualität
Stolzer Anschaffungspreis – keine Frage. Dafür aber zahlreiche Vorteile: es steht nur wenig Wasser im Napf, wenn der Hund trinkt, läuft frisches Wasser nach. In allen üblichen Wassernäpfen mit 1 oder 2 Liter Füllmenge ist der ganze Napfinhalt schon nach kurzer Zeit verschleimt, verspuckt und verunreinigt von Haaren und Schwebeteilen in der Luft. Hier steht nur eine geringe Wassermenge bereit, diese ist schnell ausgetrunken, es läuft klares Wasser nach. Den guten Effekt bestätigen unsere Hunde und Katzen, die das Frischwasser aus dem Torus gerne und vermehrt trinken. Die teuren Ersatzfilter ( gut 4 pro Euro pro Stück, und das alle 4 Wochen) muss man nicht kaufen: das Plastikgehäuse der Filterpatrone ist so konstruiert, dass sich der Filterdeckel durch leichten Druck auf die beiden quadratischen Aussparungen an den Seiten abnehmen lässt. Aktivkohle-Pellets bekommt man als Aquarien-Zubehör im Kilo für kleines Geld. Die passende Pelletgrösse von 3-4mm ist handelsüblich. Deckel wieder einklipsen , den so befüllten Filter vor dem Einsetzen kurz abspülen um den Kohlestaub zu entfernen. So reduzieren sich die Ersatzfilterkosten auf einen Betrag von wenigen Cent.Dass der Torus auch als Reisenapf sehr gut taugt, haben schon viele Nutzer festgestellt. Auch eine gelegentliche gründliche Reinigung des Napf-Inneren ist kein Hexenwerk. Es werden reichlich flüssige Reinigungsmittel für Mundduschen etc. angeboten, die hervorragend geeignet sind, um einen etwaigen inneren Biofilm zu entfernen, gründliches Nachspülen natürlich inbegriffen.Der Torus ist ein rundum gelungenes Produkt, das gleich mehrere der bekannten Wassernapf-Probleme löst. Auch die ewigen Schlabber-Pfützen im Umkreis sind verschwunden, niemand riskiert auszurutschen. Die bei einigen Hunden beliebten Fußbäder im Wassernapf sind kaum noch attraktiv in Anbetracht der zur Verfügung stehenden Mini-Pfütze. Planschen kann Hund auch anderswo, es muss ja nicht grade im Wassernapf sein.

I rarely write reviews and it is even rarer for it to be a good one; but I and more importantly our new puppy love this water bowl!!Having realised a small steel bowl was not going to cut it after our 8 week old Flat Coated Retriever (who I think is part Duck) would take delight in pulling it over and having water all across the floor, we moved onto an Upsky non spill bowl. Moments after putting it down, she took one sniff and proceeded to plunge both front paws into the bowl creating a tidal flood and sending the rim sprawling across the kitchen floor. With a satisfied look from puppy it was obvious this option was also doomed.We then found this Torus item and having coming to terms with spending £45 on a water bowl, we ordered! After a simple set up, puppy eyed it up and tried to tip the sides …. no movement! Then she decided to do her plunging paw trick, also with no effect other than getting wet paws ….. in your face sweet cheeks! She now drinks happily and whilst she still likes to her rinse her paws in the bowl, it doesn’t spill and quietly refills itself ….. genius!!Am I planning to change the filter regularly? Probably not! Is it expensive? Yes and cant believe I spent that much on a dog water bowl; but it is effective, robust and will hopefully last many years to come in which case it will prove great value for money.

This is my second bowl. Never a spill, the water is always clean and no cables or power needed ! An excellent product. It’s not cheap but worth every dollar. No need for cleaning everyday! Just a quick rinse and fill the water into the sides of the bowl. Is awesome the weight of the water holds the bowl in place….

Tried most, this is the best
This is great. Easy to fill, the pets like it and it keeps replenished with fresh water. The dog slobbers normally and makes bowls slimy, but it is not happening ending with this. So the cat can drink fresh slobber free water. I can clean the bowl out without losing too much water as I give them bottle water. It is a little heavy when full but I am thrilled with the quality, the look and practicality of the product.

El mejor bebedero sin motor.
Muy sencillo de rellenar, sin motor e incluso (si el agua está bien filtrada) se puede usar sin filtro. Lo he probado con otros bebederos al lado y tanto mi perra como mis gatas prefieren éste. La mejor manera de que siempre beban agua fresca.

Die Idee des Wassernapfs ist super und funktioniert auch einwandfrei. Leider hat der Napf relativ schnell nach Gebrauch weiße Ränder bekommen. Diese lassen sich auch nicht mehr entfernen. Unser Wasser ist sehr kalkarm, daher kann ich mir die Verschmutzung auch nicht erklären. Der Napf ist jetzt so unansehnlich, dass ich ihn entsorgen muss. Sehr schade, wenn man den Kaufpreis bedenkt.

I needed a new water bowl for my bully who has a very huge tongue, I believed he spilled more of his water than he actually consumed. I came across this bowl on IG and thought I would look it up to see if it would do the trick. Read a couple of reviews about mold issues which almost stopped me from buying this bowl. But I thought about it and was like well when I don’t use my Nespresso machine for a while I do need to change the water due to slime so I’m just going to assume these people that had mold problems are not cleaning these water bowls before every refill. So I bought it and I am very pleased that I did!!! When I tell you there is no more swimming pool of water I mean it. Best water bowl ever! I bought this bowl in March, I clean it after before every refill and took it apart twice to deep clean the inside. I have not notice any mold just a bit of slime as expected. I grab q tips to clean the faucet just to be safe. I have nothing but pros about this product and if I had a con I guess I would say the filter is not the greatest but I don’t really care since I have a zero water pitcher for him. JUST CLEAN YOU FUR BABIES BOWL AND YOU WILL NEVER SEE THE MOLD.

Stops playing with water
German shepherd puppy was absolutely intent on playing with water bowls – digging in them, throwing theme around – as long as she could pick it up she’d create her own water park. This bowl, although initially sceptical, solved it due to its shape, design and weight with or without water. Pricey, but other than that it was worth it.

Leaked but was replaced quickly for free
EDIT: customer service was eager and swift. They replaced my bowl hassle free. So far so good with the new one. Stars reflect my overall experience. I like the product, works as described and useful for messy dogs, but the leak was a pain. I wish the bowl wasn’t plastic and bigger. It doesn’t always drain all the way and you can’t access the water storage to clean it. That said, still pretty happy with it.Bought it end of December and it now leaks. Totally ruined my floor overnight. Dogs haven’t chewed on it so I’m not sure what happened.

We LOVE these bowls!
These bowls are fantastical! The water can be locked into the reservoir, making it ideal for road trips with the doggos. My only gripe, which I knew before purchasing, is that it’s slightly challenging to clean….and you absolutely HAVE to clean it out periodically. I pop the little carbon filter out and use HOT water, swished around vigorously. If you keep up on it, it’s really no biggie.

One of the better solutions on the market
From a value perspective, the water dish is not the most I’ve spent on one, but obviously if you could get by with a regular $5-10 dish, you wouldn’t be here.1. Splashing out the bowl is minimized, but not eliminated. I had a serious puddle maker before, and now just putting a towel down controls the problem.2. With my 75 lb Lab, she goes through 2 liters after a couple of days, however due to the limited water, I do feel a need to place the water flow in the lock position, dump the contents rinse and wipe. I’m generally filling it daily.3. Cleaning is really the reason to dock this thing a star. The design and the carbon filter do keep the crap out of the reservoir, but the idea you aren’t going to occasionally need to clean it out is absurd. Since you can’t pop it apart, you can’t tell how often that needs to occur. I suppose bottled water, or filtered water might prolong the need to do this, but not forever. The best I’ve come up with is running dawn through it, but in the interest of not feeding my dog dish soap, I generally end up filling and draining the thing multiple times. Of course the dog eating a little dawn probably isn’t that big of a deal. She does lick her butt.I definitely will keep using it. I will also be looking for something that delivers the capability, but can be popped apart and rinsed out or otherwise properly cleaned quickly and easily. I realize, I may be waiting a long time 😀

Don’t have a larger dog without this!
This bowl was the answer we needed with a new large puppy who was always really excited to splash her bowl and knock the bottle over because why not? This bowl auto refills slowly and only to about halfway. It doesn’t budge on the floor – it holds a LOT of water inside the base so despite her tremendous thirst, we only have to refill every 2-3 days. Really impressed with the quality and function!

Safe hard to tip bowl
We originally purchased the 1lt version for pups and loved it so much we got the bigger one for them as the grow. It’s proved almost impossible for the larger dogs to tip and there’s nothing for the younger ones to catch hold of. It is currently all dogs preferred drinking bowl which suits us as there’s less mop up after a visit.

Nice product, a couple concerns
I bought this after finding that my dog (or possibly the cat) was playing with his plain stainless steel rimmed water bowl– I think they were batting/nosing the rim until most of the water sloshed out. I wanted something that couldn’t be tipped over, not just a bowl with an “anti skid” rubber bottom. That was really my only requirement, so the price of the Torus was hard to justify, especially with the added expense of buying replacement filters. But I didn’t see much else on Amazon and after reading the positive reviews here, I decided to go for it. I’m glad I did: the shape and the stored water keeps it heavy enough that it doesn’t slide or, most importantly, tip, so no more giant wet spots on the carpet. The design is stylish and functional and has cut down on my frequent trips to refill the water bowl. The pets like it and I do, too!A couple concerns: One, when I first touched the included filter, something clear and greasy-feeling rubbed off on my fingers. Since then, I’ve rinsed/refilled the Torus several times, and when I look at the water sitting in the basin later, there is a slight oily film floating on top. I hope this is some kind of food-grade lubricant and no big deal, but I admit to being a bit uncomfortable. (I did watch my sensitive dog closely for any signs of stomach upset and he has been perfectly fine.) Secondly, like some other reviewers, I’m concerned about bacteria or mineral build-up inside the unit. Hopefully the filter and the self-refilling design plus regular cleaning will prevent this problem, but since the bowl doesn’t come apart, there is no way to really clean the inside. I’m crossing my fingers that I’ll never see that pink goo (bacteria) that forms in humidifiers (also a plastic refillable product). It would be great if there was a similar product using stainless steel for the interior!

Not your average water bowl!
This is a nice solid water bowl! I have a 6 month old Airedale terrier that thinks that attempting to jump in his water dish is just a great way to start his zoomies..this bowl can handle his shenanigans and still keep his water cool and fresh all day! It doesn’t really prevent his beard from dripping copious amounts of water all over the floor but I’m very happy with it!

Bester trink Napf
Wir hatten den Trinknapf bestellt, damit unsere Fellnase, die immer miaut dem ganzen Gesicht trinkt, nicht ständig unsere Küche unter Wasser setzt. Und was soll ich sagen, es klappt. Wir sind total begeistert von diesen Napf. Das Wasser wird eingefüllt und dann läuft es immer bis zu einer bestimmten Markierung nach. Praktisch auch auf reisen, weil man den Napf abschließen kann und so während der Fahrt kein Wasser auslaufen kann.

I brought numerous bowels for her to use inside the house (placed next to her food bowel) but while she ate from the food bowel she then wanted to got outside to drink. She would even drink from a puddle rather than her clean water bowel! I wish I had found this Torus bowel years ago. Within minutes of me putting it onto the floor she was drinking from it. I expected her to take her time to get used to it but she went straight in. The design is so clever and keeps the reservoir of water cool too.

75% splash reduction, unintended consequences
I have 3 very large (over 100 lb dogs) this works great to reduce their slobber splash. Only downside is the dang dogs LOVE it. I don’t know why, maybe the charcoal filter, but they all go out of their way to drink from this indoor bowl like they’ve never been given access to water before even when the outside bowl is full of fresh water. 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

Gute stabile Qualität
Die Qualität ist echt gut, auch dass das Wasser nur langsam nachfliesst ist für Schlabber und Co. Echt super und vermeidet evtl eine Überschwemmung der Umgebung. Aber mein Hund nimmt den Napf einfach nicht an. Keine Ahnung warum ich konnte machen was ich wollte er trinkt einfach nicht daraus. Deshalb ging er zurück.Deshalb 1 Stern Abzug für die Materialauswahl aus Plastik auch wenn es schwer und Hochwertig ist – trotzdem Plastik mit Eigengeruch, ich denke daran liegt es auch warum mein Hund daraus nicht trinkt2. Stern Abzug für den sehr teuren Preis – gute Erfindung – aber ein Plastiknapf rechtfertig diesen überteuerten Preis meiner Meinung nach nicht!

Dog destroyed the cap after a 6 weeks
I liked the bowl – and it’s function – but my 6 Mo. Old labrador destroyed the cap where you fill it and rendered it useless. PS. The cap was tightly closed but being an aggressive inquisitive teenager chewer – that was all it wrote – shame.

No more water on the floor
This bowl is fantastic! There isn’t water on the floor around the bowl after my dog drinks and the water looks so much cleaner because it’s not sitting in the bowl for so long. I am super happy with it.

Good idea, but not dog proof
Day 1: dog was crated for around 3 hours and in that time she removed the locking cap and made it unusable. I like the concept, but certainly the cap needs a different design.

Idiot proof
I have 1 dog and 2 cats. The last water bowl I had was great, until my cats learnt to take it apart and tip it upside down flooding my floor. After extensive research on water bowls I decided this would be worth a try even though I thought it expensive for something that my pets will drink water from. But so far other than a few paws going in the water it’s been great. Can last a few days and cat proof so no more spills which is all I needed from it.

El producto en sí me gusta, pero llegó con evidencias de no ser nuevo y con marcas. Lo devolví y el siguiente me vino también arañazos y las letras de la marca medio bordadas. Decidí quedármelo porque lo necesitaba, pero no es la primera vez que compro algo en “oferta” en Amazon y no hay oferta por ningún sitio, pagas menos porque te envían cosas con desperfectos.En sí el bebedero está bien. No es cómodo de limpiar ni de llenar, pero mi gato tenía la costumbre de volcar y tirar agua de los bebederos y con este no puede (por la forma y porque lleno de agua pesa bastante, le cogí el grande).

Absolutely love this bowl! Its really good quality and looks much nicer than any ive had before. Suits my Springer and Bichon Frise and they cant tip it over!!!The auto filling feature is really handy and super convenient that it doesn’t need batteries!

Der Artikel wurde gut verpackt und pünktlich geliefert. Optik gefällt mir auch sehr gut! Handhabung sehr einfach und gut beschrieben. Alle 3 Katzen haben den neuen Wasserspender sofort angenommen und mir kommt vor, dass sie nun noch mehr zum trinken motiviert werden-> da das nachlaufende Wasser scheinbar auch sehr interessant für sie ist, sie kommen immer wieder um mal neugierig nachzusehen. Zweck war für uns, dass unsere Main Coon Dame nicht ständig ihre Wasserschüssel durch die ganze Wohnung schiebt und damit den Boden bewässert oder wir über die Schüssel stolpern, dass war teilweise schon sehr lästig, nach unzähligen anderen Versuchen scheint dieses Problem nun auch behoben zu sein, da der Napf doch relativ groß und durch die 2 Liter Wasser zusätzlich noch schwerer ist, lässt sie es im Moment mal gut sein, ich hoffe es bleibt auch dabei… somit Zweck 1A erfüllt und wir sind sehr zufrieden! Investition hat sich bezahlt gemacht!
