Unique addition to our garden collection
We have a collection of statues, many with light features, for our landscaping. The Tiejiajiang Flamingo Statue with Solar Lantern is a unique, and fun, addition to the collection.The set comes in two, well packed, pieces, the bird itself and the lantern. The lantern has a hook that connects to a loop in the flamingos beak. The body is weighted at the bottom so it will stay in place although I don’t know if it is heavy enough to withstand heavy winds. Not too much of an issue though. The body is also painted well with no over spray or paint bleeding between different parts. The lantern is solar powered but requires the switch to be in the “On” position in order to allow it to charge. Once charged the lantern gives off nice light. I left it on overnight and it was still on in the morning. I (and more importantly, my wife) really like this addition to the collection. It looks great and works well and is going to look great when we put it out next summer. At $34, it is on the pricier side for these type of statues, but, in my opinion, it is worth the price.

Adorable but tiny
This is such a cute little statue! The key word is little because this thing is tiny! I know there are dimensions, but until something is on display outside of your home, it’s hard to know how small it actually is! However, it adds an adorably tiny touch of whimsy to our outdoor decor. The light is pretty bright for such a small statue, and while it doesn’t stay on very long, I think that’s more of an issue with the front of our house not receiving a lot of sunlight, rather than the item itself.

Chinese piece of crap

Flamingo yard decor…
My wife loves flamingos so when I saw this piece of garden decor, I had to try it out. Here’s what I like: – The overall appearance is really detailed and well-finished. – The base is steady and solid supporting it well on a wide variety of surfaces. – There is enough weight to resist even heavy gusts of winds. – The solar unit is self-contained with no exposed wires. There is a single ON/OFF switch on the bottom of the lattern that’s protected by a rubber boot. While you can’t really aim the solar cell in the lattern, the sides act as a lens to direct light to the base where the cell resides. – The lattern charges even during our short PNW days, the light lasts most of the long night. I would expect it to last the full night during the summer. Some comments… – While not a bad size, I wish it was a couple inches taller. – A single LED provides light in the lantern. It’s bright for what it is but doesn’t throw much light outside the unit.Overall, my wife really likes the decor of this flamingo. We plan to use it on our front porch once the Christmas decorations come down.

If it’s what you want…
I have the flamingo, and it’s pretty much asPictured, though the single LED in the lamp is underwhelming. It isn’t meant to be a primary light source, so as a decorative accent, it’s pretty good.If it’s your style, it’s sturdy and looks good.I will gripe that it’s packed in styrofoam. Because, well, styrofoam. Ugh.

Cute flamingo lamp
This is a relatively high-quality molded flamingo lawn ornament/lamp. It’s shorter and smaller than you might expect, so pay attention to the dimensions, but other than that it’s a perfectly fun addition. The molding and appearance are better than a lot of plastic outdoor decorations, and the hanging solar lamp, while it doesn’t really cast much light for illumination, does work fine and look cute. The whole thing is a reasonably high-quality, though small, version of a fun kitschy lawn ornament. A nice choice if you want the smallish size.

Cute outdoor solar light
I like this dog-holding-a-lantern outdoor solar light decoration…the light is bright, the dog is cute, and the solar panel is inside the lantern so it won’t get dirty. One thing to be aware of: the decoration is a little side-heavy with the lantern. You can try to swing the lantern more towards the middle, but because the hook is removable it swings pretty loosely, and invariably ends up on the dog’s side again. It’s not so side-heavy that it tips over, but a strong wind would probably knock it down. I put mine up against a wall for some extra stability, and it’s fine. Otherwise, I think it’s a cute outdoor decoration…

Decent outdoor memorial marker
My first impression was that the little guy is cute. It was very easy to assemble and start using. It marks the grave of our dog that recently died.The statue is weighted well enough that it holds the lantern and itself upright, even in wind.We’ve been using it over a week now, through rain and pretty gusty fall winds without any issues.I would say that it seems a little small for the price.

Classy outdoor tabletop flamingo lamp
We’ve long had a debate in our marriage about whether or not flamingos belong in our garden. One of us maintains that yes, classy flamingos have a place in the garden. The other asserts that classy flamingoes are an oxymoron. Regardless of your position, this flamingo is about as classy and inoffensive as they come, and makes one of us happy and is tolerated by the other.The lamp body is made of heavy duty resin and feels solidly built. The lantern is much lighter and feels like a fairly cheap garden solar lamp. It arrived charged and ready to turn on. There is a little switch under the lantern to turn the light on or off. When turned on the light has an automatic light sensor so that the lamp turns on when it’s dark and off during the day.At 11.25″ tall, with a 4.5″ lantern, it’s on the small size for garden art, and makes a good tabletop lamp rather than a stand alone piece. Our girls think it’s very funny and cute, and are enjoying it as a nightlight indoors for the winter. In the summer it will move out to their playhouse, where it looks like it will stand up to the weather very well.

Cute
My grandma loves her dogs so I got this to put at the cemetery next to her headstone. I will have to epoxy it since it is light weight. I will also epoxy the rod as it just slips in the hole of the foot and hand. The lantern took a while to first charge but works great now that it’s charged.

Adorable turtle light
I love turtles, so when I saw this I immediately wanted to get this cute little guy. The packaging was excellent and the turtle arrived in great shape. I switched it to on, peeled off the solar light sticker and moved to a dark room so I could see it light up. The light is a very bright, white light. The turtle itself stands up nicely and holds the light rod which looks great! I took off one star simply because the price is much too high for this solar light. For the price I would expect a heavier, more substantial item, but this was light in weight and I don’t know how well it will stand up to the elements outside (only time will tell). The look of it is excellent though, I just wish the price was more appropriate for what it’s made out of.

whimsical helpful flamingo
This is a cool bird. He reminds me of the Alice in Wonderland bird she used to play croquet with. This lovely feathered friend is holding a solar operated lantern to be helpful as a night light or just to decorate the fairy homes in the gardens. It’s an elegant bird with a very important job. I think this statue will add a lovely pop of color to the gardens and a bit of whimsy since flamingos always feel like a rather cartoonish bird to me. It would make a cute nightlight as long as it gets sunshine to charge up the battery.I’m enjoying the great details of all the feathers, the way the feet tuck under the bird just the way they do in real life, and the way the lantern is held “in” the beak. It’s a fun design and well done. Very nice and as I write this it’s currently marked down to what I think it’s worth. The quality is very good.

Piece is good brightness not too high though
I love flamingos. I have so many in my outdoor yard but nothing was solar. As soon as I saw this piece and I decided without wasting time to get it. I wanted it to be bigger in size but it is as they mentioned so can’t complain. The color is great just make sure to keep it near soft areas outside as we are in Texas and the high wind or rains usually move my pieces and they can get broken if fallen down on hardsurfaces. The light stays for a good time. Not too bright though but will keep the small area brighten a little.

Flamingo with solar lantern
This resin Flamingo solar statue is now in our garden by the front of the house The solar light is in the lantern that the flamingo is holding in its beak. This lantern lights up the majority of the flamingo, but it does not light up the head much. The light is white and is continuously lit at night. The mostly pink color of the flamingo is a nice change from the mostly gray colored solar statues we have seen. The beak does have some yellow.The solar panel is in the interior “floor” of the lantern that the peacock is holding. It has a good amount of floor splace to absorb the sun’s rays. There is only one white light in the floor of the lantern. The lantern is detachable from the flamingo.We have the statue sitting in the center of some rocks, but it does rock back and forth as the bottom is a bit rounded. It does not fall over though. It is a nice colorful statue for the price.

Cute Flamingo
I live in Florida and I had no flamingos to show for it. So, I got this one.This is a cute flamingo. It is small and perfect for a little garden. The lantern is bright for its size and recharges easily in the sun. The flamingo also has a good weight to it, so it is not going to blow over in the wind.I actually keep my little flamingo on my front porch, welcoming all the Amazon delivery people.

Garden Turtle Statue with Solar Lantern
This is a turtle holding a lantern. I mean…what’s not to love?!? He arrived with a smile, exactly as shown in the listing. The only assembly required is to hang the lantern from the turtle’s hook. He is fairly lightweight, so time will tell if the wind knocks him around. The light isn’t bright, but again, it’s a tiny little lantern – we weren’t hoping to light up the neighborhood! We love seeing this little friend hanging out among the rocks and flowers. We have a few other creatures around, so he’s among pals.

I love this little turtle! He looks like the owner of a fantasy tavern greeting you late at night, and saying, “Ho traveler! What brings you out this way so late. Care for a place to rest before you go on your way?”The design is simply too cute, and looks great in the garden whether it’s night or day. The solar light works great, although if you’re looking for true illumination, you won’t find it here, but to mark a path in the dark it’s perfect.

This is way better in real life! My photos show the size in proximity to a standard picnic table. The statue itself is a decent weight, making it less prone to being blown over. The little lantern and stake is good quality and looks super cute on our porch! I’m not sure I’d pay the currently listed $29, but there is a 20% off coupon that would make it worth it.

So Stinkin’ CUTE!
This little fella is so CUTE! Not sure if he’s big enough to “stand out” in our raised bed, but we’ll place him up on a pedestal to show him off – for now he’s on pur coffee table so we can admire the little guy! The light is bigger and brighter than I had imagined, which is a plus. He’s a precious addition to our growing flower bed. He’s a bit lightweight, but once we provide a pedestal for him we’re planning on anchoring him down on the base, don’t want to lose him in a vicious wind storm – very very very cute. Recommend this item for dressing up your garden. Description is perfect – Fun seller! I had to edit and add a photo of lil dude! He’s so cute!

Turtles Rule!
This garden turtle is one of the best additions to my garden; it’s adorable, the smiley face makes it very friendly, and the pole and lamp give it a wise-man look (Lord of the Rings style). It’s made of light resin that should last several years and is waterproof, which I can attest to as it is sitting on top of a fountain in my garden. The turtle needs to be placed in a sunny area if you want to see the lamp working at night time; if not, it will look adorable still. If you are a turtle lover, this is a must for you.

Lamp makes the turtle tip a bit, outside of that great quality.
Quality of the turtle is great, the lamp looks great, the light looks even better but the weight distribution is weird to the point where if it’s not completely level the turtle will tip over a bit, causing some balance issues that might in turn knock down the lamp that it’s holding. Important thing to remember that these are solar lights so the lighting NEEDS to get energy from the sun to work so how well it will work will STRONGLY depend on that. For me it works great where it’s at and only just a little bit of fun hits it but yeah in the end keep that in mind when considering this. I’m loving it though and looks great out front!

As pretty as picture
This solar garden statue was a gift and was much appreciated. It’s quite lovely, though a bit smaller than expected. Placed on the garden floor or amidst flowerpots, it doesn’t stand out much, but when elevated on a table or pedestal, it truly shines and captures attention at its best.

I’m kind of obsessed with the solar “crackle” balls cause they look so pretty at night! Opened this up right away when it arrived and the quality and brightness are stellar. Cute but… the light switch is not functioning properly.
It’s super cute, sturdy and I love it BUT… the switch on the light doesn’t work right and sometimes the light works and sometimes it doesn’t. It’s a bit pricey for the size and it just doesn’t work very well.

I’m adding this outdoor solar figure to my porch collection of animals. Gotta say, this is one of my favorites with its long elegant neck and dangling lantern. If you have a sunny window inside, you may be able to get enough light to decorate your home.This little guy comes with a slight pre-charge for the light. Make sure to turn to the on position and it will automatically work dawn to dusk. Rated waterproof, it should be able to handle weather. I love mine and think it’s definitely a great addition and a great value!

Tiny garden turtle
This little guy is so small and cute! I was skeptical at first, but the lantern worked right away, and he now has a spot right at the front of the garden. He is very small so he’d do well on a table or stand for display so you can see him better. You’d miss him if he got put into the bed in an area where flowers can grow tall.

It’s So Cute!
What a cute doggie holding a solar lantern. He’s perfect in my front garden and the solar light is so much more convenient than batteries or hard wiring. He’s not real light and in fact, I’d like him heavier to make sure that he wouldn’t blow over in the wind, but with his weight and height, that shouldn’t happen.

Little pricey for a little product but it works without issue.
The solar is reliable and hasnt had any issues. Its a really nice addition to a porch or deck but it is a bit small and can go unnoticed due to that. Its about the size of a hand from base of palm to end of fingers. In my opinion 30$ is a little steep to be asking for something so simplistic and small but it did work as intended and feels somewhat durable as far as elements hitting it will go.

This is the cutest little turtle statue for your garden or yard! For starters, it comes in a box with a cute illustration of the statue so you know what is inside. This is perfect if you intend to gift this to someone, so when they unwrap the present, they know what is inside the box without having to open it. Everything was well packaged, and nothing was broken or damaged, as well. The material used seems good quality and similar to other outdoor decorations I have, so I feel like it will hold up well to the elements. It did not take long for the solar panel to charge up the battery, and the lantern puts out a small but good amount of light. As you can see in the pictures, the turtle shell is full of detail and the color and material used make it appear this statue is made of stone or even concrete. And no one can deny how cute that smile is on this happy turtle! I am very happy with it and there isn’t anything I dislike about it. I would easily recommend this to friends and family.
