Such a nice shirt!
This shirt was exactly what I needed for my sons school event. It’s very light in fabric and true to size. It went really well with jeans and also khakis for easter. You will see some wrinkles in It, so in order to get clean lines you’ll have to iron after washing. Overall, I loved how It looked. My son is a thick build and 7 and a size 8-10 fit really nice on him.

Good dress shirt for picture’s
Good quality material. Was soft and not uncomfortable for my 6 year old. Was a little big cause I accidentally got size 7-8. But he still looked cute for school pictures.

Not wrinkle free after it is washed
It is a good solid purchase of an Oxford blue dress shirt. However, it will need to be steamed or ironed after washing it wrinkles ever if you grab it right out of the dryer.

Looks great before first wash, then gets all puckery after being washed and needs major ironing.
Looks great, then after it’s washed, it puckers all up and needs to be ironed. Every time. It ends up spending a lot of time in the closet because I don’t have hours to iron my 11-year old’s clothes that are just going to get wrinkled again within an hour. Love the color though, it’s a shame it’s such a hassle. This is typical of this type of Children’s place shirt though. They all seem to only look really nice before being washed. You’d think being a children’s store they would be more in-tune with what parents really need in children’s clothes…wash and wear! Not “spend all your time ironing” clothes. Again I’m disappointed in the Children’s Place. They’re really all show, they have no idea what parents really need.

Don’t waste your money
Absolutely NOT wrinkle free. It’s cotton and wrinkles very easily. Must be hung up immediately after drying or use an iron.Everything I have purchased from the Children’s Place has been awful quality.No consistency within the same sizes even. Things sewn at angles or sewn off so the shirt hangs strangly. One sleeve shorter then the other. Sizes too small or mislabeled

Ordered both a short-sleeve and long-sleeve version of this shirt in the same size. Short sleeve M 7/8 fits my larger 6 year old boy well, but it was clearly washed and returned compared to the long-sleeve shirt that was unworn, unwashed with a tag still attached

It’s not a “true” Oxford shirt yet it is a good replica especially for the price.
I like that this shirt is the light blue that I ordered.I like that it’s the pretty good replica of an Oxford shirt.But I ordered this because in the description it said this was an Oxford shirt and if it was a true Oxford shirt it would have(1) the label inside the neck (2) have an extra button on the inside bottom of the opening of the shirt and (3) it would have a loop at the back part of the shirt at the center pleat. As you can see this shirt none of the above mentioned. I would have given it “5” but because of these 3 things I did not.

The size 7/8 was perfect for my 6 year old. Just a tad large, he has room to grow into it but it’s not so big that it looks sloppy. Layered a sweater over it.Comfortable enough to wear all day (my son never asked to take it off).

Perfect Shirt
This shirt was for my grandson’s “kinder” sing. They asked the kids to get dressed nicer when they had their little kindergarten performance. It fit him perfectly with a little room to grow. And he liked it! He’s a size 8 (big kid) and the 7/8 was great.

Good fit – requires ironing
I bought size 7 for my lean & tall 6 year old; after I washed and air dried it, it fit perfectly for him with a little extra room. The material is thicker and does require ironing AND it will wrinkle easily once on.
