Premium food for all tropical ornamental fish.
Premium food for all tropical ornamental fish.
Tetra PRO Colour is the high-quality premium food by Tetra that provides extra nutrients and carotenoids for a colourful appearance in your aquarium. The new Multi-Crisps have a high content of carotenoids and enhance the natural colouring of your fish. This colour-enhancing effect is noticeable after just two weeks of feeding.
Recommended feeding:
- Feed your fish several times a day in small portions.
- Do not feed too much, but only as much as the fish can eat within a few minutes.
- Too much leftover food can deteriorate the water quality.
Low-temperature process
Low-temperature process
The revolutionary low-temperature process ensures a high nutrient content and an optimal protein-fat ratio. Essential fatty acids and temperature-sensitive vitamins are better preserved, which contributes significantly to the health and growth of the fish.
Digestive prebiotics
The new addition of high-quality prebiotics promotes metabolism and specifically stimulates growth.
Clear water
Clear water
Minimal water pollution due to efficient feed conversion means that the beauty of the underwater world takes centre stage.
Fish food in its most beautiful form
For the production of Tetra PRO, the special process of 2-colour technology was developed, with which Tetra’s experts from the largest research and development department in the aquarium industry have succeeded in setting new standards. The ingredients for the food are heated at around 75°C, whereas the ingredients in conventional flake food are processed at temperatures of around 130°C. As a result, the Multi-Cris food crumbles. Therefore, the Multi-Crisps crumble significantly less than normal Flake Food, which drastically reduces the food dust in the can.

Fish love this
some fish are choosy eaters and even if you feed them a quality flake, there are some colours of flake they will only eat if they have to and spit out if they don’t. This colour pro, all my fish fight for every scrap there is. There’s no better evidence than how quickly they go for this. The only downside (apart from being a little pricey) is that it breaks up into dust and fills the tank making it cloudy for a while. On the other hand the dust is perfect for small fry, and all the fish will diligently suck up everything for hours after feeding. They can’t get enough of this stuff and the fish look healthy and active although I don’t see colour enhancement (not one of my primary concerns). Denerle flakes is a no no. This I’m sticking with.

Fish love it but one big problem!
Fish seem to love this and I like the way it doesn’t disintegrate before being eaten. However – the red colouring in this food leaches into the water and will stain your filter materials and possibly other light objects within a tank. My filter sponges went from white to orange after using this for a couple of months (not every day – 2/3 times per week). So be warned!

Our fish love this stuff.
A little on the expensive side but seeing as the fish like it and it floats for a while and then slowly sinks most of it gets eaton unlike pellet food which sinks too quickly and just sits on the bottom of the tank making it look filthy.

Quality doesn’t dirty my water
The fish love this food it sinks and is eaten quickly. They scramble to get to it and are better in health aswell. I’ve used many foods but this one is the best yet. I’ve re purchased it and will stick with it now I’ve found one that’d not diry my water and my fish truly love. Worth every penny

Been using this for years
These multi crisps are a good foundation fish food. I use them everyday and have done so for years.I say they’re a foundation fish food because it’s always a good idea to vary your fish’s diet, especially with the inclusion of live foods and frozen cubes of things like bloodworm. What I especially like about these crisps is that you can take a pinch and crumble them to almost dust for very small fish or immature larger fish to feed on at the surface, or take a pinch and let go of them beneath the surface so they sink to the bottom for bottom feeders. The only caveat I’d make is don’t believe the Tetra hype about “pro” and “colour” – it’s just a decent quality fish food which very likely covers all the nutritional basics. However like most such mass produced fish foods it is fairly low in protein and this is why you should mix it up with live and frozen foods, especially if you want to encourage breeding.

Love these flakes!
I really like this flake. People talk about it being hard to break up but frankly I have no clue what they’re on about.Sure, you probably can’t feed them to smaller fish whole, but it takes two seconds to crush it on the palm of your hand. They float for a good amount of time before drifting to the bottom so good for top dwelling fish 🙂

Quality Dry Food
This seems to be a great food that is devoured by my angelfish, Tetras and Corys. Would be good for larger cichlids, as the food is in small disc shapes. You can break the discs up between your fingers so the smaller fish can easily eat them too. Can’t say I’ve noticed the colours improving but the fish are doing well on this. A quality food and will buy again.

This must be like the nectar of the gods for shirmp! As soon as I throw a few crisps, the shrimp swarm them like crazy! Its my only chance of finding out how many i truly have as they all drop what they are doing and gather around the crisps! I feel their color is now more vibrant as well.

Really nice quality food.. The fish eat it all (So they must enjoy it 😆) and it doesn’t hang around and go fuzzy / mouldy like some other foods do. It floats nicely at the top when put in. Nice and crispy. Looks pretty tasty actually 👀

Great fish food.
Purchased this for my Son’s Siamese Fighter. They are surface feeders and due to their vivid colours they need both a food that will float and also a colour enhancer. This food does both and is also a top branded product from Tetra. Happy fish says it all.

Essential for Healthy Tropical Fish and Good Price
I’ve always used this brand and type of tropical fish food for a community tank. I also give Tabi-Min from Tetra Pro for the bottom dwellers and wafers for the Algae eaters (who I have found are rather partial to the Tabi-Min tablets). I have rarely had issues with any disease or stress since populating the tank 9 years ago and have fed only this brand of food throughout.I find the price on Amazon for this flake food in particular to be great especially when using subscribe and save

Excellent product, highly recommended
I’m really impressed with these ‘colour crisps’, they are an excellent product. They don’t make any mess at all and after floating for a while will start to sink. My fish love them especially after the second time i fed them these, and they really brought out the colour in my fish.My pearl gouramis once they got used to eating them had much brighter orange/red below their mouths after about a week, I have a medium large Angel Fish with a yellow head and white body and these crisps made the yellow really intense, almost golden. I have 3 small parrot fish and 1 large one, after using the food for 2 weeks the small ones displayed much brighter orange/red. After about a month the very large Parrot Fish has now regained his original gorgeous healthy reddy orange that he used to have when I bought him about 5 years ago.Very highly recommended, I use it once daily with normal flake food and some Tetra Doromin. My fish seem to love them once they got used to them after a few days. Packaging is good too.

Perfect
These are perfect for our community tank. You can put some in whole for the larger fish and crumble some up for the smaller fish. Some get caught by the surface tension and float while others sink. It’s just an absolutely perfect all round food with none of the smelly slimeyness of flakes that turn to mush on contact with the water

Over the past 3 months their colour has increased notably. My betta fishes look a lot more vibrant after being given this food.FISH LOVE IT!If you feed this to fry, just crush it in your hands, and you’ll be fine.

UPDATED: Definitely Improves Colour But My Tank Has Become Very Dirty
I stumbled on this if anything, I has been using the standard flakes you can pick up anywhere and decided just out of curiosity what alternatives were out there. Have to admit I was drawn in by the “Colour” thing and having a tropical aquarium I do like to think my fish are bright and vibrant though of course I was a little sceptical. I have to say though I’ve been using this about 3 week and I did have a rather dull looking guppy who now on inspection looks great and seems to have benefited the most from this product. The others all do seem to look a little more vibrant barring the Neons which i didn’t really expect any change with as they already are pretty optimum in the colours department so I dare say I am convinced. On another note I do prefer the crips as opposed to flakes. I did find with the flakes it was a little easier to overfeed and any left would be unsightly and take an age to dissolve basically. With the crips I basically just take a pinch and break them up and the fish seem to go mad for this stuff and in the rare event there is any left the fish either go back to it or it disappears quite quickly. This is important for me as I have a biOrb 60 Life and getting to the bottom of it to remove anything is a very tricky process so I try very hard to get my portions right. All that said yes it more expensive but based on the above its well worth it and it will likely last me a good 18 months at least at the rate I’m using it.UPDATE: Recently I noticed areas of my tank seemed to have been stained by the food, I don’t overfeed them or atleast I don’t think I do but I did notice quite obvious orange stains on all of my (aritifical) plants, whites stones at the bottom and on the insude of the glass. Thinking fair enough I;ve been using it a good few months and aside from weekly water changes I hadn’t done a more in depth clean for a while so I had a good clean out and everything looked fine again but within a week there are already obvious signs of the stains returning.
