    I decided to change my fish food from a 45g tub which was costing me £6… to this 7L bag at £15.Just for the fun of it… I tipped the 7L bag into my preferred air tight container and worked out that you could then fit 95 of the 45g tubs into the bag. What I’m saying is, if I had bought 155 tubs, that would cost £570… Instead I have bought the equivalent of that in a 7L bag at £15.Me and the fish are well happy.

    Ideal for our goldfish

    We don’t have koi or any special varieties of pond fish. Our goldfish are those that have been breed in the pond over the years.We bought this food to top up what food may already be available for the fish to eat in the pond, as it was low cost and seemed ideal. Fish seem to like it. Have the quantities right now so none left on top of the water for too long.

    Very high quality product, judging by how the gold fishes love it. Its smells natural, slightly fishy.pellet are of about 3 mm diam x 1cm long which makes it easy to eat, they dissolve in about 30-60 depending whether there is a water fall on or off.really recommend

    Turned Scott the Shubunkin Goldfish into the Lord of Lords (other than that, as advertised).

    Duncan (the owner who bought me from the pet shop) fed me and everyone else in my pond Tetra fish sticks 3 months ago and everything was well. We gained weight. Dave and Mandy started seeing each other again. Lucy the snail really came out of her shell. So 5 Stars for nutritional effect. Sure, they taste like someone stubbing a cigar out through your eyeball and then throwing your blind corpse into a blender, where it’s crushed down into a drink, necked by large people, and then pooped out into a skip full of wet cats and burn victims. But, the product doesn’t sell itself on taste, so I can’t mark it down for that.The one problem was that Scott the Shubunkin Goldfish’s turned voluptuous, then a grew beautiful, luscious beard and announced (in a flashy way) that he was the reincarnation of Chris t. Now, Scott always had a bit of an imagination so we thought he would get over it. But half of us decided Scott might be for real, and the other half thought Scott was a danger to the status quo and might bring down our capitalist pond society. So, in full disclosure, I got together with the pond lice, The Koi Carp, and the three Golden Rudd and we took Scott and stapled him to a leaf, upside down until he stopped breathing. His followers were super not happy. Lucy didn’t talk to use for a week.The spooky thing is, three days later his body was gone. Just vanished. No note, nothing. Some say he was sucked up the filter, some say he was eaten by a bird; but there are rumours he just unstapled himself from the leaf, turned into a cat, flew away and now judges us silently from the clouds while sentencing us to eternal doom because he loves us so much.Anyway, none of this has to do with the fish sticks, and what they claim to do – so like I say, they are 5 Stars and everyone in the pond recommends them. Just remember that if you see any of your fish starting to grow a beard and contemplating existence for longer than three seconds then consider throwing in less pellets for a 24-48hr period.

    Fine Fish Food

    The fish eat them, they grow and always come up when they see wifey with the tub. In the last part of the review they ask how is the flavour! How would I know they are for the fish and they can’t talk – well, not that I know. So I will give 5 stars for flavour as the fish actually eat them and leave no waste. There is no strong fishy smell to them. We buy these regularly.

    Lighter weight that expected though not as light as ultralight feed which I do not like.No problems with the fish (pond goldfish) they like it and eat it faster and more of it than the heaver Tetra Multi Mix so not sure of any money saving.
