    My fish hated it! I have a small pond with 5 shubunkins, a few water plants and a pond. I usually feed them the plain flake food, but thought I’d treat them. My fish hated this mixed food. They didn’t eat anything apart from the flakes in it. I also hated it because I ended up having to clean the pump every couple of days. It was full of sludge and the pond also started to get covered in green algae. I will stick with the plain flakes.

    Fish love this

    At first I was a bit concerned because the fish grabbed a piece of this food and then didn’t move for a few minutes, but after some online searches I found out this is completely normal – as the fish are simply consuming the food whilst floating still, so it’s nothing to worry about. Fish are definitely more interested in this food than the flakes I was using when I first got them, and they all gather up soon as I approach the pond.

    Too big for my fish so made the water go a strange colour but I’m sure when they get a bit bigger in size they will love it as there is plenty of variety in the food

    My fish eat this but not as readily as pond sticks.Probably alright for goldfish. The shubunkins don’t like it and the stick in this tend to float around for a couple of days. The fish are not that interested.

    No idea why we waste the flavour of fish food. I haven’t tasted it myself. Can’t exactly ask the fish what they think of it but they do appear to be eating it which is a good thing. It does go quickly though. I recommend buying a few at a time or subscribe and save.

    My fish love the pellets so bought this mix to give them some variety. They wouldn’t touch any of it so chucked the rest on the garden for the birds who wouldn’t eat it either. So sadly a waste of money!
