    The fish seem to like this

    The fish seem to recognise my pink wellies coming towards the pond and know it is almost food time, and come out ready to gobble this food down. Nice big pot, easy to sprinkle if you only peel the foil seal back a little way. Good value

    Good quality goldfish food.

    I have been using this for years. All of the goldfish have taken to it well and it doesn’t taint the water of leave a scummy mess.

    My good fish died after eating this the very next day

    I gave these flakes to my gold fish yesterday and my fish died today. My fish didn’t even survive a day after eating this since morning my fish was less active than before. I have full bottle of 500gm now which I will throw. I would advise to think twice before purchasing it. 😭😭

    A big tub of smelly food

    Fish flakes are very light, and I didn’t realise that a 200g (“half-pound” to you and me) tub would be this big. In fact it’s very good value compared to the smaller tubs. These flakes have an unpleasant fishy smell and float on the surface, but my goldfish Wiggles and Chips seem to enjoy their twice-daily meals. The water quickly develops an orange hue, but this may be because I’m overfeeding them.

    My Goldfish LOVES These!

    We bought these to give our goldfish a bit of variety and nutrition in his diet – he absolutely loves them. We’ve never seen him so eager to eat! Obviously we have no idea about the flavour but they smell really good! With it being such a big container, it’s going to last a very long time too. Love it 🙂

    Good product. Well I can’t actually account for flavour, but the fish didn’t die so that’s a bonus!It came in the tin as advertised which adds a bit of colour in the garage and was reasonably priced.

    Tadpole treats !

    I rescue tadpoles from the main pond where they would be eaten by the nest. So they go into a nursery pond where I eventually feed them with this Fish Food. Great fun to see them slowly nibbling tiny holes in the flakes. It seems to suit them and most years I get to see tiny froglets hopping out of the pond. How long they survive after that is an unknown. This is a large container of fish food and should easily last the season.

    Good product.

    I always buy a different brand. Tried tetra as many of my friends are saying it’s good value. I was using a brand for a prolong period and my orandas were little confused with the new food. In a day they got adjusted to it and seems happy. The only issue is the container emptied quicker than usual compared to the other brand. I’ll be returning to my main brand. But thanks tetra.

    It’s ok but wouldn’t buy again

    Quite a small pot of food. I bought to make protein mix for my snail but he’s really not keen on the flavour. Maybe fish aren’t as fussy so it would be ok for them but I wouldn’t purchase again.

    … Well, I’m not a fish, so I’m afraid I can’t qualitatively feed back on the “flavour” of these goldfish flakes, except to say that the fish love them.We’ve usually bought the smaller 20g pots from the aquarium before, which usually wind up being about the same price as this. So, in terms of value for money, this beats our local shop hands down.The pot has a nice easy-to-use slide-back lid, so you can tip in some flakes without needing to put your fingers into the flakes themselves, and perhaps risk getting them damp.The pot is quite large. 52g doesn’t sound like much, but the pot is about 4″ tall, and much larger than the previous pots…It’s going to last a long time, so I’m really happy with this..

    Bought these Tetra flakes for my fish a few times and they seem to love it :)Tried other brands and they don’t seem fussed about a new food, but these Tetra flakes they seem to enjoy.Easy to put your desired quantity into the fish tank for the fish.Happy fish, happy me !!

    It’s a big tub

    So never have it any stars for flavour as I haven’t tasted it and the goldfish can’t tell me what the flavour is like but I can say it is a massive tub. I thought when I was buying it “this is a bit expensive” but I didn’t realise it was as big as what it is, hope it stays fresh because we only have one goldfish, it will last ages.

    Tadpoles

    We have a small water feature in our garden. Every year we get 10 – 15 lots of frog spawn.Due to shortage of food, the Tadpoles eat each other and we only get a few frogs.We want to encourage frogs into our garden to eat the slugs.So this year I bought this fish food to help them along.I started adding some from early hatching. They took a while to be old enough to eat it, but the goodness was in the water for them to feed on.Now they Love the stuff and are thriving.I have just ordered some more.Very pleased with product, price and delivery ( and me little Taddies love it ).Thanks.Jim

    Hungry Fish

    In view of the fact that it took 9 days to arrive from Stoke-on-Trent to Birmingham , I was a little disappointed . When I have ordered this product previously it has only taken a couple of days .My fish were quite hungry when it finally arrived ! ! !

    No waste, fish love this quality food

    Some ‘cheap’ pond food just sits and rots in the pond all over the weeds but the fish really enjoy this and hoover every bit up. A good quality food that is worth paying food over rubbish cheap grades. Fish have lovely colour and no signs of skin defects. In fact my 3 fish are now 8 healthy fish so obviously gives enough nutrients for good reproduction in female!!

    Not the cheapest but have fed my goldfish on Tetra food for many years and the fish love it and thrive. Being a flake even the smallest fish have no trouble eating it.
