Very light weight and easy to use.
I like this lawnmower because it is very quiet and light weight. It is also easy to maneuver. The only thing is that the batteries don’t last very long. I have to do 1/2 of the yard one day and the second half the next day. The yard is not very big.

Sub $200 Battery Mowers Get the Job Done
Unboxing reveals one battery … I chose this because it said “2×4.0Ah Batteries & Charger Included” … I thought the Walmart Litheli 13″ would be less powerful ’cause it only has one battery … Hmm … Will use tomorrow and come back here for follow-up. NEXT MORNING. Took 10 min to assemble. Safety note: like unplugging the spark plug on a gas mower before servicing, make sure to extract the green key before cleaning or clearing a clog. I had let my grass get long since my previous battery mower died on a plastic bag (these small mowers’ engines die quickly if running over bags or sticks – just do grass after clearing trash and sticks from the lawn) and this mower cut 95% of it before it died. I’m happy with that. The mower comes at level one. After close cutting a few feet, I adjusted it. One thing I discovered is cutting really long grass, do a slight wheelie (something you can’t do easily with a heavier mower). The mower’s highest setting is five. I think of the wheelie as “level 10.” All in all I like the Solus 13″. I increased my rating from 4 stars to 5 when I saw how responsive they were at changing the description to not say two batteries. I love these 13″ mowers for smallish lawns.

It is as it was advertised
Well I do not have a lot of property but what I do have unfortunately it takes me 3 days tomorrow because the battery life is shorter than 40 minutes I’m still not exactly sure how that catcher bag works because it doesn’t spit it out the back end even though I took the plug out but it still doesn’t load the catcher bag the fact that I have to charge the batteries for 24 hours before I can use them again is really a pain like as I said a 150 x 50 lot and a mobile home park takes me 3 Days to do it’s kind of ridiculous I really kind of regret I bought it but at the same time I have to admit it cuts well it did a lot better than every most people said that it would for a battery operated machine but like I said the battery life stinks and I’m 61 so it my hands can’t wrap around and push that button to get the battery out of there cargo hatch and that’s a bit of an issue for me but other than that it’s an okay machine I do wish I could return it but apparently I miss the window by one day

Easy to use
This machine is adequate for the small area of lawn that I have. (150 sq feet) It is very light weight which may contribute to a feeling the machine bounces over rough area if your lawn is not level. The cut width is narrow so a few extra passes may be necessary depending depending on lawn size. Battery is still charged after three uses.

Confusing at first but, it’s great!!
UPDATE……….the black hook things, are for your wires and snaps on the mower bars. It has a medium loudness to it. It stops, when it goes over a patch of grass; Tip the mower up and it will automatically start again or just keep walking and it will straighten itself back out.*********** Picked the mower out of the box, couldn’t believe it was really that light!! I love it. The upper bar was at least an inch from one side. The black hook things that came with the handlebar hardware, have no idea where those suckers go. Finally got the bar together. It is not made for one person to put together. You’ll need help, not to damage the product. Put the batterys in, put the key in and closed the lid. You need to push the “white” button above on/off. Grab the little bar, bring it to the handle and push the green button on the side. It will start. The first time might take a couple tries. I bought this mower and the weed wacker for my children. They love the mower! The weed Wacker is coming in a couple days. The only thing I don’t like is that it takes the 2 batterys at the same time. I wanted an extra battery but it is supposed to take both. My dyslexia got me on that one. All and all? It is a great product so far!! I will update if needed!

Super lightweight
I wasn’t happy with the performance of it at all. I thought since it had all these different levels it would cut better well it went from looking like I hadn’t even touched it to down to the ground then every little gopher hole I went over it would die on me! Had it not kept dying I’d probably kept it as it was super light weight easy for this older lady to handle!

It’s okay but could be better
The battery life listed is for cutting on highest level not a 3 or lower for grass so keep this in mind. The battery is so bad I can only get through half of front yard. Definitely buy more batteries and price is a bit high given it’s not very wide and doesn’t last very long.

Save your money
The battery life is about 10-12 minutes per battery. So 20-25 minutes if you use both batteries. Takes forever to charge the battery. The cutting width is about 9 inches so it takes 7-10 business days to mow my yard. If the grass is long and has any dampness to it… forget it. It cuts parts of it but leaves patches of uncut grass everywhere. The grass bag holds about two passes of my yard before it has to be emptied so forget that idea all together. May work if your yard is 10 feet by 10 feet but anything larger this is a disaster. I’ve been mowing in sections for 3 days and still not done as I have to wait 3 hours for one battery to charge. By the time I finish my yard I’ll have to start over from the beginning. Save your money.

The battery life is poor
I would have really liked to have provided a better review as initially, the product worked well. Things, however, changed when the grass became longer and it was clear that the battery packs were not enough to power the lawnmower through a more lush lawn. I noted that after the lawn had to go longer due to rain, the length of the grass was higher than usual, and I had to mow and wait for the charge several times on both batteries because it would only work for about 15 minutes before it was run out of power due to the lushness of the grass. I do not know if an upgrade to the battery would’ve helped or not as I became too frustrated, and simply returned the item.

How to start the mower
Thanks to Heather Leutzinger’s review, I was finally able to start the mower. The instruction manual does not explain the necessary steps to start it, and the video doesn’t show it either. You have to 1: press the on/off button, 2: press the green button on the side of the on/off button, and then 3: pull the crossbar to you.

Pretty strong so far I love it
Put it together in 10 min -so easy assembly don’t need instructions just look at the manual cover. Tip there’s a mulching stopper thing in the intake that blocks grass from going into the bag,- remove that first before putting the bag on. It was powerful I mowed over some tall /wet grass and some branches without it stopping. I did my whole property in one charge. It got to orange. It’s much lighter than my previous non motorized push mower. There is an indicator when you should empty the bag. First use and I’m impressed. Will update when I use it more this summer/fall

Haven’t used it yet. Just got it and put it together. The instructions on how to assemble are poor as they are drawings that have no definition so you cannot see what you have to do. Not much to do to put it together, but was very disappointed that the directions for assembly just looked like grey blobs. We finally got it put together, but it was more figuring it out than getting help from the assembly drawings. Hoping it will work well and fulfill our needs with getting mowing done in small spaces as I hate to weed whack. We did get it started. will use shortly. Hope it will perform.

it has some flaws
if you live in a humid area where your grass is lush and beautiful it will give you shorter battery life. cutting too low will also drain battery. i wont use the mulch bag, it stopped me every three minutes to empty the grass clippings and then you have to take the key out to reset it. its just a longer process ill have to adjust to. the batter charger it no longer shows its charging. the lower grasswo settings are useless, they drain battery and make the mower cut off every 6 seconds. wont charge warm batteries so you have to wait for those to cool6. So if your okay only getting use of half the amenities this mower claims to have, than sure grab it. Im content and adjusting to cutting at higher lengths and grabbing back up batteries. Now for the pros, obviously better for environmental reasons and its so quiet. I DO LOVE HOW LIGHT THIS IS. I am 5’2 120lbs and I can lift this with one arm well into the air. I can also reach places my gas mower couldnt. cutting in ditches and tight spaces is a breeze with this mower.

Wonderful lawnmower for the price, no adjustable height however
You need to go over the lawn like 3 to 4 times before you will get an even cut. Even then it’s not a very nice cut. It just get the job done. It will keep the neighbors off your back. The blades are either dull out the box, or its the height. Otherwise. It’s super light, like a vacuum cleaner. It’s worth the price if you can’t afford more.

I got what I paid for
I feel it is made with cheap materials. I got what I paid for. The two batteries are 20V each. I thought they were 40V each. It is good for my small lawn. I need to take good care of it so it lasts as long as it can.It looks good. It is easy to assemble. It is quiet. It is compact, easy to store. The charger looks solid. It runs more than 40 minutes.

Instruction has no mention of the grass chute dual features for this mower.
I ran this mower twice with the little vent on the collection bag open or close, there was no grass collection in the bag. Once flipping the mower upside down I found the grass chute was full blocked by a plastic plate, which I guess is for the running mode without using the collection bag. I removed this plastic plate to leave the grass chute fully open to the bag. I assume most of the users of this mower would like to run it with the collection bag, do not understand why the grass chute is blocked as a default for the unit. It would be okay to leave the blocking plate as a spare part for people who want to run the mower without the bag. Unfortunately, the instruction manual has no mention for the grass chute feature at all, which is poorly written and illustrated.

Both batteries are necessary to use the mower.
I would like a longer running time. The charge lasts for about 45 minutes, then needs recharging. The mower came with 2 batteries. I thought one was a backup, but both are needed to operate the machine.

Great lawnmower
I am a widow and have to so all the lawn work (69). It’s not easy, but this battery power lawnmower makes it so easy to get under trees an around bushes that the riding mower can’t get close enough!

Great little mower
I was a little worried at it’s size but I mowed a large, over grown yard and this little machine knocked it out! Batteries lasted an hour plowing through it. Took me a bit to figure out how to attach the handle but otherwise easy to assemble. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy this!

Horrible
There are some nice reviews here but my experience was disappointing to say the least. If I could leave zero stars I would. Mowed a small area, maybe a 15 foot square. The mower rattled a little and then stopped. Everything was in place and battery fully charged. I was actually so thrilled to have something lightweight and easy to move. It was pretty great for about 10 minutes. I guess if I hadn’t had such high hopes I wouldn’t be so discouraged. Sending it back via Amazon. The return policy through Amazon has been easy. I just hate to have to repackage the thing to return it. UGH

It’s cute but sucks
If your grass is more than 3 inches long, get ready to do wheelies over and over and over again until you can mow a patch without the lawnmower turning off. It’s a very weak lawnmower. It doesn’t cyclone the grass into the bag most of the time. And it could just be my lawnmower, but one of the batteries is defective and doesn’t lock into the core correctly. If all you need to mow is a very small patch of grass, then the lawnmower ain’t that bad. But if you have a regular-sized lawn, you’re going to have a long, aggravating time mowing it. It’s cute af and gets an E for effort lol, but I wouldn’t recommend buying it

Just no sorry
I’m not one to be harsh, but it was just pathetic. It wasn’t even half the size of a normal mower which is way to small, when I tried to mow the lawn with it, it just stopped and didn’t move an inch and turned off, the structure was terrible it was way to flimsy. The batteries were way to small each for 30 minutes (at least the ones I got) bottom line it was very poorly made and sad. I’m not even sure what they wanted you to use it for now if it can’t cut the grass.

Great Mower
Easy to use, light weight and advertises 40 min run time but so far it has exceeded that run time by 10 to 15 minutes. Great Product.
