They actually work
I have a small raised lily pond about 8′ x 4′ and I wanted something just to keep the water moving, I purchased 3 of these thinking that they probably wouldn’t be that good. I was pleasantly surprised on how efficient they are. I fitted each one with just the single jet and when the sun is out it fires a jet of water about 12 to 15 inches high. I’m not sure how efficient they would be with the little multi-head, I think that could easily get blocked but the single jet is brilliant. So there are excellent value for money even if they only last a couple of seasons. They also come with little rigid plastic tubes that clip on the side that prevent them from getting too near other objects

Smaller than expected.
Works well but smaller than I expected, l should have read the size rather than relying on the picture.

Great little fountain for the money.

Wasn’t sure what to expect after reading some of the reviews. Set it up on a cloudy day and just had sporadic spurts of water. Woke up to a sunny day today and the video speaks for itself. Yes it does require full sun to operate effectively but when it does , it was reaching nearly 2 foot in the air. So much so I had to swap to the star nozzle to stop the water disappearing out of the bowl. To quote Jaws “We’re gonna need a bigger bowl”. Plan is to put some decorative pebbles in to hide the spacer bars around the edge but all in all, I’m really pleased with my little water feature.

Fun
Fun for the price. Easy to set up and use. Not very powerful. As soon as in a shadow it stops, but for the price it’s ok. Birds love it in my birdbath.

It’s really good!

To be honest I wasn’t expecting too much for the price but this little fountain works really well in our tiny pond, it creates a relaxing noise. Comes with a few different heads so you can choose which one you prefer, we chose the single hole as it’s a stronger flow of water and doesn’t get blown as easily by the wind, which will lower the water level over a day, as it evaporates on the cobble stones.Great little addition to our garden .

Great little fountain
this is in the birdbath as just a little additional feature for visual effect only. it came with 4 prong things that you attach around the solar panel and this is supposed to keep it central but when a bird does actual come down to use the bird bath, they detached themselves all the time and i have to be honest, it got irritating in the end so i stopped using them.Keeping it clean is easy enough, the filter at the back just needs a hose down once a week so super easy.

Somewhat gimmicky
The wind catches the little spray and then drains the bird bath !!

An amazing little pond fountain with different nozzles for decorative water spouts. Great value
Without an electrical supply to our very small pond, this fountain is excellent – solar powered and an array of different heads to vary the effect. Excellent value for money and just what I needed for our very small garden pond.

Love it
Quality product, light but works well even on dull day. This is our second one of these… Previous one lasted a few years, so did well. Looks fab on the pond or in the bird bath. Just put it in and off you go. Plenty of ‘fountains’ to chose from.

Lovely tranquil sound when the sun is shining.Works well.Few different attachment included some of which spray water over the sides of my bird bath.Obviously it only works when the sun is shining as it is “solar powered”.Great little item.

It needs strong direct sun
It’s ok for the £7 I paid. I would have sent it back if i’d paid anymore. My garden is mostly in indirect sun and so unfortunately this hardly ever works even when it’s very bright. It needs full sun directly right on it to work. Stops for a light cloud going over or a a wave of a branch. I find the sucking sound when it’s trying to work annoying. When it does get direct sun it works very well is pretty and sounds lovely. Note: It does require more space than it looks from the photos as the straws to suck in the water double the size of it. This means it didn’t fit in my bird bath.

Works well when the sun is shining
I like this – when it is working. But it needs a lot of strong direct sunshine in order to work well. And we Ian;t got a lot of that in London.

Does Exactly What I wanted!
The media could not be loaded.
I bought this for a tiny container pond we are making, to add aeration to the water and the sound of water when sitting out doors.I saw lots of reviews where people weren’t happy because they expect the fountain to work in cloudy weather, even though the description stated it won’t!I want to say that mine is working under an overcast sky, nearly as well as under bright sunshine in my video. BUT there is nothing casting a shadow over it.I would highly recommend this. It was VERY easy to install…2 minutes…it has lots of attachments and it works!

When the sun is shining it works
Bought this for a little pond just to move the water around a bit stop it going stagnant, and it does it, what more could I ask. When the sun isn’t out it gives a little blip every so often, when the sun is out its not bad at all. But it was no cheap so you get what you pay for as they say.

A bit of a disappointment
There would be no issues if your pond is in the sun and not under any shade. But mine is mostly shaded and so it only works for a very short time in the day and once any water lilies have grown it is completely converted. It does not hold charge at all so relies on continual direct sun to power it

Arrived promptly. Approx 5 inches diameter with 4 straws to prevent it going too close to the side and emptying the pond on a windy day!

Fine for bird bath
This is quite a compact fountain which would go better in a bird bath or very small pond. Unfortunately it doesn’t get enough sun at the moment to get it working properly so the jets of water fall onto the solar panel instead of into the pond so I don’t think it’s aerating much! When it gets enough sun it works really well and doesn’t stop completely when there is cloud; unlike my pump with wired solar panel. I’ve just bought another one as a back up for when the solar wired pump breaks or is damaged by the fox as it’s so much easier to install and replace as I have put all the other pump’s wiring under paving and under ground.

Star fountain works best 🤩
Great little fountain for small water features -some nozzles are quite small and get blocked quite easily but the star nozzle has the biggest holes so works the best-great in full sun also have had to tie down to keep central as wind blows it about-bit in the whole for the price would recommend

Good effect if using in pond only certain spouts work
Good for price. Stopped working after one day in pond, was going to chuck but changed head to to single larger hole now works fine. You will have sediment in pond water that blocks up the heads with smaller holes

When I first put this in the bird bath it wasn’t great and was only working intermittently but it was a dull day. I decided to give it a while until we got a bit on sun and it works well with the sun. Great value for money and great little feature in the garden

Good product for the price
This little fountain works well in our garden pond keeps the water moving on even dull days but needs good sun for the best effect. The smaller spray nozzles don’t work very well and I don’t know how robust it will be. I think I will remove it before winter. Very easy to put together and just put it in the pond.

solar fountain pump
very nice kit. easy to set up. However the pump is not strong enough for a good fountain spray. I could only use one of the fittings to get a little bit of movement. Perhaps I was just unlucky to get a dud.

Great fun but needs a lot of sun
Really easy to assemble and had great fun with it, with my 2 year old. However, it needed a lot of sun to operate. Even small clouds stopped it from working properly. Really enjoyed though and a good price.

Great fun. Instant waterfall on my patio
This is brilliant. Great fun, so easy to use. I just sat it in a large unpunctured plastic flowerpot, full of water and hey ho there’s a ready made fountain, which sounds lovely the way it trickles etc. It has spacers to keep it from going close to the pot’s edge, thereby preventing it emptying all the water out of the pot. Great simple little thing, that likes the sun, like many of us.

Do not buy with what Amazon recommends you buy with!
We bought a solar water feature but when it arrived it’s only the solar panel and spouts there is no flat panel it recommends you use with it! So I checked Amazon and it recommended you buy this with the solar panel this arrived and is a self contained solar water feature so doesn’t work with the panel we’d previously bought! So please check what Amazon recommends you buy with products as this barely even works and has direct sunlight and just splurges then stops for 15 mins!

Works well for what we want
Not the most powerful but does the job – bought for child’s water tray to enhance play. Doesn’t really hold any charge so if there’s no sun it won’t work. But for what we want it does a good job.

Nice little solar fountain, put this in my bird bath and makes a really nice addition, it must be in direct sunlight to work properly, so if like me your neighbours uncared for large tree blocks the sunshine in the afternoon..then ?

Not a serious fountain!
Low cost but fun sprinkler that can sit in any clean water feature. Jet is intermittent even in clear sun light. Early days. Most solar water pumps lve owned usually quit working in a few weeks!

Solar water fountain.
For use in small pond, works well, needs a clean once in awhile. I don’t use spray head, as loses too much water, just let it bubble out from the fixed pipe on surface disk.

Great little pump for the money.
I placed it in a bird bath, but found that using the various mini sprinkler ends that come with the pump resulted in water pumping too high and wide, resulting in the birdbath emptying quite quickly due to spillage. I decided to not use any of the sprinkler attachments and the water just does a quiet trickle and works a treat. Stops the bird bath getting algae too. Doesn’t retain power, so goes at full flow when in direct sunlight, intermittent when cloudy or in shadow and stops when dark. Recommended for a cheap solution.
