My Betta Friends love’s this
My little Betta’s love’s Seachem Nutridiet Premium Betta Food. Since it is probiotic, it regulates their digestive system and helps them poop. The only problem is, once part was bitten it will shrink to the bottom of the tank and my Betta’s doesn’t like to pick food at the bottom, they preferred the floating type. But overall, this product is great.

THE BEST
This is an amazing food for my Betta. The small pellet size is just right for his small mouth. I’ve been using it this brand now for over a month, and I’ve noticed his level of activity has increased by at least 50%, his colors have improved considerably as well, and his eagerness to be fed is amplified two-fold. I’ve spent hours and hours researching pelleted Betta foods, comparing the numbers on almost every single brand out there — specific to Bettas that is. This is one of only two brands I have found to be vastly superior to every other one on the market — the other one being New Life Spectrum Betta. Keep in mind, this is only my opinion though. That said, all of the specs on those two brands, including the all important ingredient list, are precisely what all true Betta experts recommend. Read up on it and you will draw the same conclusion. My Betta is an average size and in a 20 gallon tank, heated, filtered, TMC UV sterilized tank with Wonder Shells and Atison’s Betta Spa. I only mention these details to provide background as to how much I feed him since all of these things affect his consumption. I will typically feed him 4 to 5 of these pellets plus 3 bloodworms each and every morning and evening. He never suffers any digestive issues, finickiness or biological signs of over feeding since changing his diet to this product. Of course, this is all very anecdotal, so take it for what that’s worth.

Non-refundable
My betta did not like this. The pellets are very hard and remain hard even after sitting in the water. After a few attempts, the betta completely ignores these pellets. I also checked the ingredients, and the very first is an agricultural by-product (alfalfa meal), which is surprising as bettas are insectivores. Wheat gluten then appears just fourth down on the list. The ingredients do not match what is listed on the store page either…

Quality food for betta
I have been using this for 3 weeks and my Betta seem to be loving it.Ive tried three other types but as the nutritional value says its the best on the market!

Pellets are a good size and the pellets are tiny
I own multiple bettas and like to try different food and dispensers. The bettas seem to like the food okay, although its not there favorite. However the dispenser is my favorite. I also like that the food is small enough for my smaller bettas. Pellet size seems to be a real problem with betta food.

One of 6 Foods I alternate each Day
My Betta likes it. I have 6 different Brands of food and I alternate each day and fast on Thursdays. He is fed only in the morning 2 or 3 pellets. On non pellet days he is given Blood Worms or Shrimp. He seems healthy and happy.

DO NOT BUY
It took 2 weeks for me to receive this product when it should’ve taken 2 days. No communication from seller explaining the delay and no returns allowed. When I finally received the product, it just sinks so my betta can’t eat them. DO NOT BUY

Wrong size pellets for bettas
Wow. Had I known the size of the pellets I would never have purchased these. I’ve no doubt that bettas find it palatable as the other reviewers have said, but the pellets are way too large for bettas to comfortably eat. I tried with one of my bigger guys and it took him a good 30 seconds waiting for the pellet to moisten enough to actually be able to swallow it. The pellets are not uniform in size and shape either. Just not good all around for bettas. The food may be OK forfor the giant Plakat type bettas, but for the average betta not a good fit.

Disappointed with this Seachem product
I LOVE Seachem products. However, this one has disappointed me. Bettas are carnivores. The first ingredient in this food is alfalfa. In addition, the food sinks rapidly, which leads to “dirty” water if bettas like mine and most others, eat food that floats on the top more readily.

Pellets sink almost instantly
These pellets sink very quickly. Bettas are surface feeders, so their food should float. Our Betta didn’t have a chance to eat the pellets as they whizzed by him to the bottom of the tank.

refused by my Bettas
I bought this food trusting Seachem’s reputation and for its probiotics but the size of the pellets dont work for a Betta and adding that none of my Bettas liked it, they just grab it and spill it right out. They have to work with this product more. I am using this food to feed my goldfish, they eat anything.
