PURINA FRISKIES provides complete and balanced nutrition for the maintenance of adult cats substantiated by the Association of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO).

Ingredients

Cereal and Vegetables products (Corn, Wheat, Soya); Chicken and Chicken Products (Dehydrated chicken protein, Chicken oil and hydrolysed chicken protein); Vitamins, Minerals, amino acids and flavours (including Vitamins A, D, E, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B7, B9, B12), Choline, Calcium, Phosphorous, Chloride, Copper, Iodine, Manganese, Selenium, Sodium, Zinc, Iron, Potassium, milk solids); Dehydrated Fish Protein; and Colors (INS 123,124,110,102,133).

Feeding Guidelines

Feeding guidelines are average quantities to be fed depending on size, age, breed and activity level. Cats are nibblers and enjoy many small meals throughout the day, keep a bowl of PURINA FRISKIES cat food available at all times.

Transition to PURINA FRISKIES

Remember, changes in your cat’s diet should be made gradually to allow your cat to become accustomed to a new food. Allow 7-10 days to ease transition from your cats current food to PURINA FRISKIES. Gradually add more of PURINA FRISKIES and less of the previous food to your cats bowl until the changeover is complete.

    Extremely hard for cats to eat

    The kibbles are extremely hard and cats find then difficult to chew. Additionally they might cause severe indigestion.I did get a damaged product bag. But even then the kibbles are not soft enough for cats to chew on comfortably.

    My cat didn’t like it now entire packet is a waste. I tried mixing it with her old food he still doesn’t like it. He used to have whiskas but once he started with let’s bite…he doesn’t eat anything else. Also it has a strong scent so may be that is one reason.

    My cat didn’t eat a single kibble!

    As soon as i opened the packet, my cat smelled and ran away as if she smelled something really bad. Now the whole packet is just waste of money. Ordered one reading all these positive reviews but i don’t recommend this cat food for your lovely pets. RC, Famina or even whisks is better than this Friskies thing..

    Best cat food at this price range.

    Purina uses dehydrated protein or hydrolysed protein which is easy to digest and cats don’t get food allergies from this food it also increased my cat’s appetite.People in the comment boc saying that their cat vomitted for them i want to say that when you switch to new food you should switch gradually and its mentioned behind the pack.You should go for it because at the price range of whiskas and meo its providing better quality.Actually whiskas should also start using hydrolysed ingredients.I and my cat both liked the food and you should also give this food with gravy and in terms of gravy whiskas is good.

    Flavor ofcourse I don’t know… Wo toh meri meow se hi puchna. Baki scent behad bardasht ke baahar hai so giving 4 for scent from humans point of view 😂😸 Still this is chicken 🐓 flavor & for cat so I can understand.

    Bit expensive, hard kibbles -cats having trouble to chew on

    Good food though, no side effects. But hard kibbles are causing trouble for cats to chew on food properly and so few cats are ignoring to eat sometimes and few would just gulp directly causing bloating rarely. And so make sure as cat owners provide little quantity to each cat separately and then make sure they dont go hog on to others plate . (AVOID Over ingestion of ANY dry food AS IT will cause bloating and may cause digestive issues)…OVERALL A GOOD BRAND. BUT i might get it occasionally WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AS REGULAR FOOD SUPPLEMENT due to hard kibbles.
