Love the motion detector, light intensity, and angle setting. Swivel for angle rotation not user friendly, frustrating and eventually broke. JB Weld fixed it for now, booo. Great price. Will buy again.

Robust everywhere except the top knuckle of the tripod.
I received a returned unit. The give away was the packaging was not sealed or taped, and the light/solar cell unit was not in its plastic bag.The lamp and solar cell unit is very robust. And it worked fine. Brightness was ok for a 3.7v LED light.However, the tripod was broken. Probably why the previous owner returned it. It fell apart as I removed it from its plastic bag. The adhesive under the knuckle base (that was used by either the previous owner or manufacturer) was tacky and didn’t set. But there was even a bigger problem. The plastic base where the knuckle base inserts into was cracked. Either it left the factory that way, or the previous owner over-tightened the knuckle joint. In either case, the tripod and knuckle joint interface is poorly designed.I can’t recommend this product, or manufacturer.

1st arrived broken, replaced, 2nd one stopped working within weeks
I tested 2nd one in kitchen, worked ok for a few weeks, detecting motion when dark and turning on but only briefly, soon it stopped working at all. Wasn’t because of lack of charging in sunlight, or insufficient darkness, because it had worked in same conditions. I tried fiddling with it several times in different settings, gave to handy person, just stopped working. Wasn’t ever even exposed to the elements. Also flexible legs were pretty useless. Waste of money $39.99 and effort.

Mine lasted about 6 months.. finally got around to taking it apart and the board is rusted and corroded. Was under the impression it was meant for outdoor use.

Broke right out of the box, but still works
This has a very weak point at the joint between the legs and the light segment. It broke 5 minutes after I took it out of the box. I tried gluing it together to no avail. So I wrapped it up with rubberbands and mounted it outside. Surprisingly it still works, so I’ll keep it.

This light sucks! It filled with water after a rain storm and has been malfunctioning ever since. It is a nice concept but definitely not weather proof. Too late to return it.

Two years to the day and broke
I purchased two of these, the other is still going strong. The broken one had green corrosion all over the LED circuit board inside, leaked in at the motion sensor. The solar panels are a great design, water tight seal and hardly look weathered at all, even in direct sunlight, thru harsh New England winters, didn’t turn white, fade, no cracking or damage in any way. Very bright beam, sensitive motion detector and even in partial shade half the day, 18650 battery lasts all night. The flexible arm mount is nice and holds in the strongest of winds. Two years and never had to re-position the light, never moved or loosened up on me. I’ll be looking at other models to replace the broken one though. I’d expect at least 5 years usage for the price tag on these.

Light stopped working and pedestal broke
My experience with this solar light is that it is garbage. The light itself stopped working after 2-3 weeks of use. The flexible legs were wrapped around a fence post overlooking my front steps. When I removed it to examine the unit the solar collector/light broke from the tri-leg base. The attachment point was plastic and it snapped off, so there appears to be no easy way to fix that, however, since the light no longer works, that’s really a moot point anyway. While I liked the idea of the flexible legs, this thing is a no-go for me.

Excellent solar light. Very bright. Was concerned how effective this would be on hanging from a clothes line pole. No problem at all. This thing is sturdy, bends in any direction you want. Motion section is right on course. So happy I choose this one.

Perfect solar light!
I have tried soo many solar lights to brighten my steps and walkway. This light is by far the best and brightest I have tried so far. Plus I needed something flexible for my deck railing and this works out perfectly! I’m actually going to buy another one, or two!

Save your money…HORRIBLE
I tried my best on these but ordered 3 on 2 separate orders..returned 2 that were junk…3rd one stopped working after 3 days…threw it in a box and lost track of it til i cleaned out my truck bed but was past the return date so more $$$ lost. Nice concept..very poor construction where flexible legs affix to the actual light….all 3 broke there..2 lights themselves stopped working…what a waste of my money and time

We bought the light for our camping trip. And on the first night, while setting it up, the section where the legs hold to the light just broke off. We were simply trying to leave it on our table and it is so weak that that broke that fast. Can’t image using this light for more than a few times.

Waste of money
I purchased a slight with the warranty and can’t get a hold of anyone the thing works but it’s broken where the solar panel doesn’t stay on top. And it’s really hard to get the light to stay in one place.

DOESN”T MOTION ACTIVATE EXCEPT CLOSE RANGE
PRO #1: Looks like a security camera (deterrent). CON: Motion detection is low, m/be really close to activate light to come on but ok for my driveway. My LITOM solar light activates @ twice the distance and is 1/2 the cost. PRO #2: Wraps securely around my shepherd’s hook (tall plant holder) & fence. Used thin black zip ties to position, IS top heavy. PRO #3: Clean white “daylight” color light, perfect compliment to my RING Doorbell.

Poor quality and I received a dirty, previously used item!
It arrived quickly (so 2 stars for that) but I just opened the box today to prepare for a camping trip for the holiday weekend, and much to my surprise this light had already been used. It wasn’t even in the packaging, was dirty, and obviously had been returned and resold as new. To top it off, it’s faulty. The pivot head that is supposed to hold the lantern steady doesn’t have enough tension to keep the solar panel up so it just falls over. I can see why the previous buyer returned it. I definitely don’t recommend it, not only for the poor design but also because the seller doesn’t check their returns before re-shelving. It’s poor quality on every level!

Defective Product
I bought one, but it had a defect that caused me to return it. I bought a second one, but it had a defect that caused me to return it.The defect: the legs are attached to the light base merely with a light glue that separates the legs from the light base with the lightest touch. There is nothing in the instructions how to reattach it, and no obvious way to reattach it. This product is clearly defective and they made a ridiculous effort to “correct” the defective assembly with a light glue that falls off with light pressure after it is taken out of the box.
