I haven’t tried this yet
I haven’t tried this yet mainly because my cat has IBD and I don’t know if he would eat it or if it would cause a flare up. Right now he is eating fussie cat chicken and salmon. Cats seem to really like this food. For those people who have finicky cats they might like fussie cat. My cat didn’t do well on tiki cat and he can’t tolerate wet food anymore. We soon have to go to hydrolyzed food once he cannot tolerate the food he’s eating now

Unfortunately my cats won’t eat it
I was excited for my cats to try this cat food after seeing the quality list of ingredients. One of my cats often has dry skin, and my other cat tends to vomit once or twice a month for some unknown reason. So I was hoping this cat food would help both of their issues. Unfortunately, however, neither of them would eat it. They have never been picky when it comes to dry food so I was a bit surprised.I really wanted to leave a good review but I have nothing to go on here except that they wouldn’t eat it.

Worth the higher price?
We already have tried
Optimeal Natural Dry and Chicken Turkey Tender Adult Cat Food
. One cat seemed to like it OK, the other did not eat much of it. I am not sure if it’s the flavor or that the kibbles are a bigger size than the
Earthborn Holistic Wild Sea Catch
cat food we were giving them. The pickier cat seems to have some digestive issues – she tends to vomit a lot around the house. So I thought we would try this Sensitive Stomach cat food. I put some in the bowl today and she sniffed it and walked away. Maybe just not hungry? The extra ingredients in this one that seem to be for sensitive stomachs is prebiotic fibers, psyllium seed husk, and dried chicory root. I don’t know how these ingredients help with digestion, but we’ll see. This food costs more per pound than their regular Nutrient Balance. So if it doesn’t work I’ll go back to the cheaper one.

Kats like it
The cats like this but it is expensive. Good to see the price has come down a bit. The ingredients are great and from a good source. The cats will not eat it by itself. It needs to be used as like a topping on other food for her to eat it.

Cats not crazy about it
My four cats generally aren’t that picky about dry food, though they definitely are about wet food. Since one of them has GI disease and supply chain issues have affected the availability of the prescription food I get her, I decided to try this as a stopgap. (All the cats eat the same food–too hard to separate them out for dry food.)I have no real objections to this food. The ingredients seem good, and the cats will nibble on it, but as far as they’re concerned, the prescription food is far preferable. It may be that the first ingredient is salmon–when I give them salmon wet food, they usually turn up their noses, unless it’s mixed with something else, and not always then.(Since I still have some of the prescription food, and I’ve been putting both foods out, I can’t tell whether the digestive benefits the manufacturer claims have played out or not. )

Picky cat approved
My daughters cat is super picky!!!! Most brands of food she won’t touch and we’ve tried at least 20 different ones. We had found a brand but it was never in stock so we needed to find a different option. My dog LOVES this brand and now her cat LOVES it too! We just keep ordering it on Amazon for convenience. It only took a few days for her cat to adjust and now she gobbled it up!

Not vomiting food anymore
Before I got this cat food I was feeding her normal hard cat food that she would just throw up after eating it. Since I have been giving her optimeal she hasn’t been vomiting and she has been gaining weight again. I will be buying this food again for my cat.

Picky cats may not be convinced.
I think this might be a good option for those with kitties who have a lot of stomach problems. When your cat struggles with other foods, this one is worth a try. Otherwise for just any cat, the flavors might just not be there to appeal to them. Neither cat that tried this ate more than the first few bites. The ingredients are good, but picky cats may not be convinced.

Three out of Three Kitties Disapprove!!!
I got a new cat “Stella” who is very difficult and vocal, I have my Fat Cat who normally will eat anything you stick in front of him and I have my Sweet Mama kitty who eats slow and is very picky!!! All three of them will not eat this….!!! Fat Cat tore into it like he usually does, but then he ended up leaving the majority of it in his bowl and just ate his regular wet cat food!! I put these little nuggets in the bowl and then put their wet food on top of it and they all ate the wet food (even licking it off these nuggets) but they all left the nuggets in their bowls!!! So sad about that!!! When I opened the package it smelled SO good that I wanted to taste it myself…but apparently they didn’t feel the same way!! I have tried it three times so far and they leave it in the bowl every time!!! Such a shame, it looks good, it smells great and it has awesome ingredients!!! Thank you!!!

cat went straight for it with no hesitation
Our cat has been tiring of her dry food and mostly getting friskies for wet food. We decided to test this Optimeal wet food, and they are in smaller, waste reducing pouches. Half a pouch was slightly more than she ate in a single serving, but she is well fed. She smelled it as soon as I carried it out of the fridge and came trotting excitedly along and meowing for her new treat. The food looks tasty and fresh, and she ate it right away without hesitation, and seemed very pleased. Her vote counts! These are a bit pricier than I would ordinarily pay, but for the quality and the cat liking it, I would say we are two thumbs up.

Helped my cat with stomach upset
I have an “unofficial” cat. She was a stray when I moved in and spends half the day outside still but comes back for the night every night. Her stomach was upset by so many things. Sometimes vomiting. Vet determined she needed a strict diet so I ordered a few different brands and ingredient combinations and this is one of two cat foods that don’t irritate her stomach. She gobbles it up so it must taste good.

A new favorite for the cats.
Having successfully tried Optimeal’s turkey oatmeal flavor with our cats, I figured we’d give a different flavor a try. Just as they did with the first flavor the cats took immediately to this one as well.I’ll keep it short and simple here: I really like that the ingredients in this cat food are at least a smidge more “real” than any of the big brands I find in the local grocery store. Seeing as I do my best to eat real foods myself, it’s only fair that I do the best I can for my cats. The cats seem to really like this food. It has a nice size to it and they crunch on it delightfully every time I pour some out.If you’re looking for a potentially healthier option for your cats this is a great food to go with. Our two picky eaters have loved all of the Optimeal flavors so far.

Not for my cats
Unfortunately, not one of my four cats would eat this. Yes, they’re picky, but usually at least one will like the offered food even if three refuse to eat it. In this case, none of the kitties would eat it. Can’t recommend.

My cat enjoyed this dry food
This is a dry cat food that is packaged in a cylindrical tub with an inner foil bag. The first items in the list of ingredients are raw ingredients like salmon, brown rice, oatmeal, chicken and turkey rather than ambiguous ingredients like chemicals.I appreciate that for my senior cat. This food is super crunchy, so for my cat, I ended up using wet food with it or adding water since his teeth are not the best. He normally doesn’t really like dry food, but he enjoyed eating this product.I would say price-wise, this product is higher than average, but that makes sense given the quality of the ingredients.

Healthy
I had one kitten with digestive issues but this needed to be put in all the bowls to make sure he was eating it, so everyone needed to eat the same thing. They didn’t mind it at all and the kibbles soon disappeared from all the bowls.

My cat doesn’t like it
I had really high hopes for this food but unfortunately my cat doesn’t like it. She puts it in her mouth and then just drops the bits on the floor. I’ve seen other reviews rave about their cats loving it. I believe my cat is just super picky.

Healthy cat food
My cat is 11 years old and I been trying to feed him more quality foods. He can be picky, this food recommended slowly replacing his food, and that’s what I been doing, he likes it and I’m happy knowing his getting a more nutritious meal that is better for him. I love the packaging the containers are easy to store and quite strong material. I love that this is made using natural flavors.

High Quality, But…
Optimeal Skin & Sensitive Stomach Cat Food is high quality and good for my six cats, especially the one with a very sensitive stomach. Unfortunately, she, and all her fellow kitties, dislike the kibble. They came running when I first put it out, but only my two chonky cats ate more than a couple mouthfuls before walking away. Even they didn’t finish their servings, which is practically unheard of.I tried setting a bowl of it next to their usual kibble (Kirkland Lamb and Rice from Costco) and they devoured the Kirkland, as usual, and barely touched the Optimeal. They only ate it when I mixed it in the food bin with an entire bag of their usual — about five to one Kirkland to Optimeal. (When I mixed it in a bowl 50/50 they ate the Kirkland and left most of the Optimeal. They actually picked through it!It’s a real pity because one of my cats would really benefit from this high quality food. Alas, it wasn’t to be.

Cats would rather starve then eat this.
I really wanted to love this! I have two cats and one with 5 teeth. These are the smallest dry cat food pellets I could find. I also loved the ingredients. However, both cats do not seem to think this is edible and would rather starve then eat. They are not picky cats as we have tried similar brands like: Origen, authority, hills science diet, tiki cat, wellness core, and solid gold.

Picky Cats
Nice big bag….I only can wish they would eat it! But I can’t really review it because all dang 4 cats won’t even take a bite. Usually when I leave a little food out, the bowl is empty by morning. NOT ONE BITE, not even the diabetic who eats everything. NOT ONE BITE, from the rescue who has a food obsession from being so hungry so long.I even tried mixing with another brand. Nope.I love the fact Ukraine plays a part in the making of this product and it helps my charity. But the brats have been tainted by the strong flavor of Temptations. Now bland food is out of the question. Lol.SLAVA UKRAINI 🇺🇦✊🏼🇺🇲

Cats don’t seem to like it at all
We tried this because it was on sale. I guess it was on sale for a reason. We have 3 cats, one super picky, one sometimes picky, and one so not picky we call her piggy instead. All 3 of them hate this new food, would rather go hungry than eat it. The piggy one will toss this kibble out of her bowl or spit it out, instead digging our their old food that we mixed with this new brand. I really wanted them to like this since the ingredients seemed so promisingly high quality, but alas, we won’t buy this again, even on sale. I’d pass on this and get something else if I were you.

Cat hated it
The product may be good, but my cat went without eating for two days because this is what I had on hand to give him. The food is hard as a rock and are little pellets. He’d take a morsel then spit it out. He is not normally a picky eater. But, like I said, I can’t say whether this may or may not be a good catfood, just that my cat hated it.

Jury is still out
I ordered this product for my sensitive cat and as part of a product testing program. It took two weeks to arrive and when it did it was damaged with holes in both ends of the box and food bag. I was unwilling to let my cats eat it because of this, but also could not return it per the terms of the product testing agreement. I tried to submit a video review demonstrating the damage twice in the past five days, but am unsure if it is going through. Therefore I’m resubmitting this review as text only. My cats did seem interested in how the food smelled through the holes in the bag, but at this time I can only say that I am unsure if this product works.

I was looking for a food that was better quality for my cats, but a lot of bigger name brands include ingredients I wish they’d leave out. This brand was a great in between, offering great price, size and ingredients. Just wish they offered a bigger bag now that I know the babies love it!

Wasn’t a winner in our house
This looked like a great option for our two cats. I’d been looking for a healthy dry food option that would help with their recently-acquired dandruff. Unfortunately, while they aren’t usually too picky with their food choices, this one was a solid no. They took one nibble and turned their noses up at it.I hate to give this one star though – I’m opting for two because, through my human eyes, this seems like a great product. Packaging was great, delivery on point, ingredients seemed high quality. Unfortunately, just not a great fit for us.
