This mix was created from decades of growing, most varieties are too strong for the average person. Alfalfa and clover make up the bulk of this mix, with smaller portions or broccoli and Radish, these have much stronger flavors and many cannot eat equal parts of those two. We reccomend if you desire stronger flavor buy a bag of each and mix to your taste! Enjoy
I taught a class on microgreens and sprouts to our homeschool co-op fully expecting at least half of the kids to refuse to eat them. Even though most of these kids live on farms and have pretty adventurous palates (head cheese, anyone?) I thought they might balk at the sprouts. But, all but one tried them and loved them. “Spicy!” “I like the crunchiness” and “Tastes like broccoli and I LOVE broccoli!” was heard in 3 different classes of kids aged 5-15 years. The sample I grew were full size and ready to eat in 5 days and delicious. The kids reported back to me a few days later that their sprouts were growing well, too and the moms told me the sprouts were being lovingly tended to like a new pet. A great experience for anyone looking for fresh, living food in winter or any time of year.

Easy and quick sprouts at home
These are an economic way to get quick, frequent access to sprouts/microgreens without paying ridiculous supermarket prices. They grow very quickly – I’m typically ready to harvest the sprouts in 3 to 4 days (about 1″ tall). The variety of seeds in the package makes for an interesting mix of flavor that adds a snap to whatever you top with the sprouts.

a little higher maintenance than one kind of seed
This is delicious, pure and simple. Because there’s more kind of seeds in the mix you have to be a little more dedicated for the first day of a new start, make sure you get a good soak after first rinse (about 6 or 8 hours!) and repeat soak at first rinse with another 30 minutes or so, then treat them just like any other sprouts.I tend to water them 3 or 4 times per day, per instructions, and after 4 days in the cupboard, take them out and put in a window sill before serving/consuming. Delicious the first time, and every time since!

This seed mix is so tasty and perfect for my daily salads! All the seeds sprout so there weren’t a lot of unspotted seeds in the end! One thing they should include on the bag is soaking the seeds in vinegar at the beginning of the process – to clean off any bacteria before you start. It does say this on the website but it should also say it on the bag. I will definitely buy more of these sprouting seeds!

Sprouts for pennies!
I’ve made 8-10 batches of these sprouts over the past few weeks and my family is LOVING them! I have no green thumb and typically kill plants, herbs, flowers. But, these are soooo simple, even I can do it. I’ve attached photos of Days 1-5. On Day 1, I put 1 Tbs of the sprout blend in about 1/2 cup of water in a Pint Mason jar (or 2 Tbs sprouts in Quart jar) and allow to sit all day or overnight. After about 12 hours, I give them a rinse & drain the water. I rinse 2-3 times/day for the next few days (placing the jar in a window that gets sunlight throughout the day if possible). There are lots of options for sprouting but I already had mason jars so I bought a 4 pack of mesh lids that fit the jars: “Sprouting Lids, Premium Stainless Steel Mesh Plastic Lids for 86mm Wide Mouth Mason Jars” ($12.99 at the time of writing review). Once fully sprouted and the jar is full (day 4 or 5, I place them in the fridge and leave the mesh lid on so that they can breathe and don’t get slimy. We’ve had them in the fridge up to 4 days and they were still fresh tasting. Every couple of days, I start a new batch so that we always have fresh sprouts ready to eat. I will make dozens of batches from this one bag and I don’t ever have to spend $4-6 on one little tiny package of slimy sprouts from the store again.

Tasty!
I heard about sprouting from a friend and decided to try growing some with this product. They vary a little when they grow, but I would say a solid 5 days is what they take. I grew them in a mason jar, not the planter that some other people use, so that might also affect grow time. The combination of sprouts creates a pleasant taste, with the radish adding a touch of spiciness.

I like growing sprouts much more than I expected. I use a large mason jar with a special plastic mesh top. I put a tablespoon of seeds in, add water, soak it over night, then each day I change the water twice a day draining it at an angle to remove all the water, then set it in a container to catch any dribbles. The seeds are ready to eat in 3-4 days! They are delicious on sandwiches & salad.I make them every week, & this package will last me for a year, at least. The mix of seeds is great, & I can’t recommend them enough!! Good for you too.

From seed to my mouth in less than 4 days
I’ve had hit-or-miss luck with microgreen seeds but I am always excited to try out a new mix. I use a self-watering tray with a hemp mat. I soaked a teaspoon of these seeds in water for a few minutes, then drained and spread them with a flat spoon as evenly as I could across the growing mat. I then covered them for 3 days, and when I removed the cover, they were sprouting nicely. The picture attached shows the sprouts nearly 4 days old, and I’ve already eaten a lot. Some sprouts have a nice mustard flavor that gives them a zesty kick. Based on the size of the bag, I’m estimating about 20 plantings total, or approximately one very two weeks (growing then eating).

Best sprouting selection
Really does sprout over five days or less. Two tablespoons fjampacks pint mason jar. One tablespoon is plenty for one person each day. You would pay this amount for only a few days’ veggies at a supermarket, but this pack lasts a couple of months of daily use.

Do you like radishes?
If you don’t like radishes, don’t get it.Rated 4 star for quality, i got lots of sprouts with minimal dud seeds. They were big and hydrated. Also, there’s a good variety of seeds. I took off a star because imo the mix would have been perfect without the radish. However, I’m still eating and enjoying it! I’m just getting used to the radish sprouts because there’s a lot of health benefits to radish. It’s an acquired taste I’m slowly getting used to. But if you absolute don’t like radish, don’t buy it and waste the product bc there is probably some in every bite and you can’t pick them out.

Fine for what they are.
I bought a package of alfalfa seeds and salad mix after going through a package of the broccoli seeds. I was very disappointed in the taste of both, especially the alfalfa, the broccoli sprouts tastes much better to me. I guess they’re supposed to be healthier as well? Even though the broccoli cost twice as much for unit weight, it’s worth it. I won’t be buying the alfalfa or salad mix again.

I love the tasty mix. I use these in a sprouting jar. One downside is low germination rate. I’d say only about 70%-75% sprout. It’s not a deal breaker because the crunch of the unsprouted seeds is nice but yeah, lower germination rate then expected out of pricey seeds like this.

Seeds sprouted within 2 days!
I’m new to sprouting at home but got sick of paying $4.79 at the grocery store for a small portion. Bought mason jar sprouting kit and watched videos to sterilize and then grow properly. Used vinegar/water mix for 15 min’s and then rinsed several times. Turned the mason jars tilted on their little stand with the dark cover over the jar. Rinsed two times per day. Sprouts started within 2 days. Removed cover on 4th day with kitchen sun. They were in the frig by end of day 6 (in an airtight snapware glass container) with full sprout growth ready for smoothies, salads and sandwiches.

Blown Away! 🌱😲🌱
I was really excited to start growing my own microgreens/sprouts again. I just got these “Nature Jim’s” sprouting seeds the other day, along with the sprouting jar that I bought separately. I did the initial soak last night and since then have rinsed them only a few times… They’re a good size, they don’t slip through the screen on my sprouting jar at all. I’m blown away that they’re already sprouting!! 🌱 I love that they’re “climate pledge friendly”, organic AND non-GMO… They’re all-around just really high quality seeds. I haven’t grown my own microgreens/sprouts for a long time and these first seeds I bought, from “Nature Jim’s”, are most certainly the only brand I’ll ever want or need! I’m definitely not a professional photographer but I just had to show them! This is @ less than 24 hours since I started the growing process… Just wow! I look forward to trying the different “Nature Jim’s” seed blends in the future….

These are great sprouts
These are great sprouts and though they are a little more expensive than some of the larger volumes I could buy this brand seems to have a lot better growth rate. I was buying a larger bag at a lower price but a lot more of the seeds did not sprout and ended up rotting in the growing process leading to stinky sprouts so I have found a lot better success with this brand and this form in particular.

Safer than lettuce & better for you.
I recently caught listeria from a head of store bought iceberg lettuce. It was no joke & I decided never to buy lettuce again. I’ll grow it myself. Now lettuce is easy to grow, but sprouts are even easier. It took a couple of experiments to get it right but this mix gets it right. It was ready to eat in 5 days, I can use it anywhere I use shredded lettuce and it’s way better for you than iceberg. For the curious, I followed directions given in a Kindle book on growing sprouts, using a wide mouth pint jar wrapped in aluminum foil to keep the sprouts in the dark, a sprouting lid from a half dozen bought separately, & 1 tablespoon of seeds to a batch. I soaked the seeds overnight, & rinsed them 3 or 4 times a day. I eat the sprouts, hulls & all. They are really good on whole grain sandwiches with ham & tomato slices.I plan to try them in scrambled eggs & in vegetable soup. They don’t contain lettuce so they shouldn’t turn bitter when cooked.

Radishes dominate the mix
Salad microgreens grew well under grow light and sprouted quickly. Downside is that the radishes sprout first and dominated the mix. I might as well have just bought radish micro greens as is is preventing the others from sprouting. Probably used too many seeds as well so be careful to minimize the seeds per area.

Nutrient Dense and Tasty Too
These sprouts are far superior to some others I’ve grown. I have a weekly harvest with a hemp mat as the base, instead of soil. They grow about twice as fast as any of the other dozens of sprouting seeds I’ve tried, and these are vibrant green, with thick healthy stalks, crispy, and tasty. I’m using these with a reusable kit I found on Amazon called Zestigreens, FYI.

TOTALLY WORTH BUYING – LOVING THE SPROUTS!!
5 Stars all the way. I’m scared to buy sprouts at the grocery store because they’re always having recalls. It’s so easy and within 5 days I was eating an avocado sandwich with sprouts, tomato, lettuce, and shredded cheese, just like the little diner I used to go to in Shreveport by Centenary. I grew them in 2 glass jars. They sprouted the first day. Every 3 hours I would shake the water out and fill with fresh filtered water. After Day 2, I just changed the water 2x a day. By the time I ate them, I loved how clean they were. You are actually growing food in water. When I took them out of the water on Day 5, I padded a container with napkins, top and bottom, then washed them a few times. For me, I just used 1 tbsp in one jar, and 2 tbsp in the other jar to see how much I need to use. I needed 3 tbsps!! Stored in fridge for 2 weeks!!

These taste great and were super easy to grow. I had no issues and most of the seeds spouted. The bag came packaged well.

The variety of seeds is nice
Every week I grow new sprouts. The germination rate is excellent. I’m eating more heathy greens because of the sprouts. After 5 days – they go into the refrigerator and then they last a long time.

Yum
I love the tasty mix. I use these in a sprouting jar. One downside is low germination rate. I’d say only about 70%-75% sprout. It’s not a deal breaker because the crunch of the unsprouted seeds is nice but yeah, lower germination rate then expected out of pricey seeds like this.

Love this sprout on Sammie’s. Hate buying them at the grocery store. You never know how long they been up on the shelf. This way I have fresh in the refrigerator all the time I just use a Mason jar and I usually have two going at the same time one will always be continuous so I don’t run out.

Every seed spouted!
Very fresh seeds that sprouted completely. For me personally I would have liked a higher % of radish and broccoli seeds. I like a bit of spice in my sprouts. However these were very good on a salad and in sandwiches.

I have been experimenting with several brands of sprouts and micro greens for several months now. This brand and variety is hands down my favorite. I am back to reorder and am getting the radish variety as well.

Blown Away!
