    Adorable but clearly NOT stained glass, as stated.

    I bought this as a gift for my daughter. She loved it because it is adorable, and humorous, which is why I’m giving it four stars. However, the product description and pictures are misleading. Light does not filter through the little owls, at all. They’re totally opaque. It does look cute hanging on the window, though. I wanted to return it, but my daughter likes it enough to keep it.

    I am a seasoned professional stained glass hobbyist with little to no time. I needed a gift for my sister and couldn’t make on myself so my girlfriend found this. I read in the reviews it was plastic? Well, the one I received was in fact glass. For the price, this was a home-run gift. I couldn’t make it myself for the cost.My sister received the gift and loved it.As for the hook, it was a self-adhesive hook. I have a plethora of suction cups so I just use those. You can go buy your own suction cup from a local Michaels or i’m sure Amazon has one.

    Tired of misrepresentation of products and deceptive advertising.

    A lot smaller than the photos look. The adhesive hook is trash so plan on buying a suction cup with a hook that actually sticks to the window. No instructions as to how the adhesive (NOT) hook that comes with it is supposed to work. (i.e. peel apart, wet the back, etc.)

    Hit-it-on-the-head

    Gave this to my daughter-in-law; never sure how much my gifts are loved, but this one was a WINNER. She laughed so hard! I had a note with it about how she and my son are the “normal” owls sitting on the limb, just looking at my goofy-upside-down-googly-eyed-self, barely hanging on to life, as they ponder what to do with me. They put a cup hook into the wood window kitchen frame to hang it, so I do not think a suction cup would hold it well, as it has “weight”. The light thru it is very pretty and they chuckle when they see it. It is cute and unique with the triangle shape. Good value!

    Darling Gift for Owl Lovers!

    This was bigger than I expected, but because of the way it is designed .. It does not block your field of vision out the window. If you or the person you’re gifting, loves owls .. This is a reasonably priced, darling piece. Can’t speak to suction .. Did not come with a hooked (or any) suction cup. Once I bought one though .. It has stayed up fine. Get one or two up from smallest size of suction hook. Piece not heavy, but wanted to make sure.
