Ok
Ok but as usual I had to disable the useless apps it came with.. Didn’t like the many loops had to go through to get it online. If only they made smart phone with only camera, browse, flash light, pics, email be top seller.

WORTH IT
Not overly heavy or bulky yet very snug and effective. I would’ve given “5” stars had it not been for the fact that you have to disassemble often in order to remove debris, etc. from under screen protector.

More good than bad. Don’t be afraid
Yes this a cheap phone. Reviews say to skip this one. I don’t. This is a very capable phone with all the most essentials features. But it is burden with “crapware”. Go through the installed apps and uninstall or disable the junk will transform it from sluggish to speedy. If you are savvy enough to root your phone and get rid of the junk 100%, even better. Not for the person that loads all kind of junk and games on there phone. I purchased 2 of these, one for myself and one for my son and they have been great with those guidelines in mind.

Improvement For Sure
My old phone was no good! This phone is great. I haven’t used the facial recognition or fingerprint, so don’t know about that. It does take very good pictures and I really like the size of it.Had it set up at ATT, that was a breeze.I would recommend.

good phone but is larger than you think.
Overall I like the phone, the features that I have used. work well. But his phone is large. If you are one that carries it in your hand all day, and lives on your phone it works great, But if you put it in holster on your hip, you will bump everything, and putting it in your pocket is like putting a TV in there. Just a little too big for my liking. Can’t give it a 5.

Battery Life is not as advertised
Overall, this is a good phone so far. But, rather than the battery lasting 2 days, it only lasts about 16 hours. My previous phone’s battery (Moto G Power 2021) which was 2 years old, lasted at least 24 hours or more if I wasn’t using it much. This is disappointing.

Good phone… but with some minor bloatware.
For the price, I didn’t expect much. I just bought this phone for taking photos for security report writing, in case anything goes to court, and a lawyer subpoenas my phone that took the photos. So far, it seems to be decent, and the camera produces legible photos that I can use. Only one small detail… it comes with some bloatware preinstalled. I would have rated it 3 stars, but gave it 4, because you can uninstall them. Apps like TikTok, Snapchat, Home Depot, Booking.com to name a few. But no Outlook? All the useless apps, but no Outlook for my work email. C’mon, Motorola, you used to produce flagship cellphones. What happened? Well, that’s my review. Subject to change upon extenuating circumstances.

This is my second Motorola. I am not tech savvy and I don’t have a ton of preferences for performance for apps etc. I uninstalled some of the apps it came with because I don’t use them. The camera works well. I like that the phone is water resistant, charges quickly. It works!

I really like this phone it looks good and feels good and has worked great so far so I just hope it keeps doing that. I finally got my Sim in my SD card to work in it I had to call my carrier which wasn’t a big deal. Seems to have a good strong battery and decent camera.

Good for the price! Don’t let negative reviews scare you off.
Overall the Moto G Pure is a good phone for the money.I do not play games or take a lot of photos. I do not have a lot of apps installed either. I use the phone for calls, texts, navigation, browsing the interwebs, and using a few apps (amazon, ebay, offer up, banking, health care). For these purposes, the phone is more than adequate. I am VERY happy with the purchase. I was going to use this phone as a temp phone until the new iPhone SE reviews came out. I like the G Pure so much that I might just keep it long term. So, if you have a similar use case, then do not be scared of the reviews showing horrible geekbench scores for the MediaTek Helios processor. Also, the near stock Android experience with no bloatware is refreshing. I like the little moto tweaks, like chopping twice for the flashlight. However, there are some caveats:There is no 5G and no NFC. So no google pay (do you trust google?). The lack of 5G is not a deal breaker for me as my carrier charges extra for 5G anyways. The face unlock is unreliable (boo). I do not take selfies, so it could very well be that I am holding the phone incorrectly when trying to unlock the phone. However, I feel like an idiot moving the phone around trying to get the phone to unlock with facial recognition until the phone gives up and begs me to use fingerprint or PIN unlock. I was really hoping this feature was going to make me feel like I have a cheap iPhone. I was mistaken. This is not a deal breaker, but it is a let down. The storage is a pitiful 32 GB. The OS alone with the preinstalled google aps uses about half of that. So if you have/need lots of apps look elsewhere. My previous 2017 phone also had the same amount of storage but more carrier bloatware. Still, the 32 GB feels cramped for me and will definitely feel cramped for most people. The OS is android 11. This is already one version behind the current android 12 (at the date of purchase Feb. 2020), but the G Pure is supposed to get updated to android 12 and then that’s probably it. This is the reason that I chose the G Pure over the G Play. The G Play has a bigger battery and a more commonly targeted Qualcomm processor. But the G Play has android 10 and will only get updated to android 11. Why does Motorola makes such good phones and have such a horrible update policy? If any Motorola bots are reading this, please note that I would buy a more expensive Motorola phone AND recommend Motorola to others if this were not the case. As it stands, I expect every Motorola phone purchase to result in being abandoned before you even get your new phone in the mail.I know that there are more “cons” listed than “pluses”, but I think some of the “cons” would be deal breakers for a lot of people. BUT, overall I am VERY happy with the purchase for my use case and expect to sue the phone for quite some time at the moment. So if you have similar needs, then you should expect to be happy as well.

Better RF Performance, Superb Value
The best part of this phone is it gets workable signal when others seem not to be able to do so.Any phone can run apps but most have lousy RF performance. The RF performance of this phone seems to allow it to get a workable signal where other phones do not. I was often in areas which seemed to have no to marginal coverage. Now with this phone they all seem workable. Casually comparing its performance to other kinds of phones in use in the same area by others on various networks, this phone will typically be able to make calls when others cannot. It is clearly better than the phone it replaced. Perhaps it is realted to Motorola being an old line radio company. Who knows. But it is a superior RF performer.I tested using different SIM cards and it works with both Verizon and T-Mobile (a GSM carrier) networks. This is pretty unusual because most phones are either Verizon or GSM but not both. The phone is advertised as working with ALL US carriers and this seems to be a good claim. Maybe the thing is an SDR? Wouldn’t that be nice. The wifi section has both 2.4 and 5 Ghz bands. Both work very well. Using a directional beam as the access point I was able to get a workable 2.4 link at about a half mile. If you want to play with this I used a Ubiquiti Powerbeam PBE M2 400 which you can get on Amazon. The phone is also very stable, having not yet crashed after a few months of use. The phone comes with Android 11, which is very good and it will ask you to upgrade to 12. Both versions are excellent and stable on this phone. There are no hangs or crashes. The memory holds all the apps I need and is only about 60% used. Battery life can go way past two days if you are just on standby and have all the saver features turned on. The two days is with “normal” use as in my kind of normal use versus playing games or watching video all day. Charging is quite fast and considering you can run a day with far less than 100% battery, the time to refresh the battery is quite quick. The camera is average, which in my case is good enough, but keep in mind it’s a cell phone. If you want to do real photography get a DSLR.For the money you will not find a better deal. There is no way I would pay $1200 for a phone especially when I can get 90% of the way there for 5% of the cost.Mot has really done a great job. I hope they keep up the great work because we need solid, good performing phones at this cost level. If you want a phone that just works and does so very well and don’t care about fashion, get this.

Great phone
For the price, it’s a great phone. Been using for three weeks and very happy. It’s not the fastest, doesn’t have a lot of storage, can’t run apps from the sd card. But for the price I can run what doesn’t need an app from the browser. Split screen is pretty cool when it works.

Decent for the price.
Good phone, all is good once you figure out what bogs it down. I know this phone doesn’t have much ram and I wasn’t wanting to pay a huge price for a phone with huge amounts of ram. Onboard storage I’m not crazy about, it is a bit short in that area, but even that can be controlled by using a SD card for all other storage and is fairly easy to change where any downloads or pictures go. This phone does bog down some but it’s not so much a phone issue as it is a android issue, app ram hogs. I would highly recommend going to app settings and eliminating as much app permissions as possible and force stop apps you more likely won’t use. It’s what I did and once I did it, it made a huge difference. This is a Android 12 issue, not a phone problem. Today’s apps love that memory, once you reduce the apps usage you spare more ram for loading apps you do use. Phone is nice, works great, finger print reader works really well and side buttons are easy. It doesn’t have all the bells I’d like to have but it’s also not expensive so I can deal with it for the price. One thing I don’t like that it should have is a charging light, so to check it the screen must be on. I can’t give it 5 stars as I just got it, but 4 should work as it’s a Motorola, a brand that has a good reputation so at least it’s worth 4 stars anyways, and hopefully I can keep it at 4 at minimum.

Low end phone. Ok for a backup phone that only sees occasional use.
For $79-99… to be frank its a decent value, just don’t expect high end performance from it for modern apps/games/etc.I misplaced my mainline apple iPhone 14 on a trip and needed an urgent temporary business phone until I could get my replacement original phone. This phone fit the bill for less than $100.Some pluses:+long battery life+good for general purpose usage, playing music, chat apps, tik tok, phone, text, email.+headphone jack+big screen+cheap “brand name” phone++ oddly enough the best finger print scanner I’ve used, the little motorola logo on the back instantly picks up my finger print every time immediately unlocking the phone.I recommend getting a otterbox defender basic case with this unit. The bad:-Old processor in a new package, it’s a 3-4 year old processor in the unit.-Motorola shovelware installed on the phone.-Setup took a long time to patch even on a fiber connection. Took 2-3 hours before the phone was really ready.-I think there’s only going to be another year of OS updates for this phone and then it will be abandoned, maybe some android super tech guys can figure out how to patch this to remove the motorola shovelware and get vanilla android on it and extend support, but its a sub $100 phone so I wouldn’t expect that much.-Some lag/delay on UI on some apps

A Really Good Phone for the Price.
I got this for a friend of mine who was going around with a phone that had a cracked screen and it was difficult for him to read text on it. If I had infinite money, I’d have gotten him the 5G version, but I don’t and so after looking at specs and reading reviews, I got him this 4G version. I also got him a charger which ended up being unnecessary because even at this price, the phone comes with a charger. He has a budget plan with Tracfone, and he did have to call them to activate the phone with them, that took a little longer than I would expect, but once activated, he’s been able to use it for everything. He particularly likes the ability to write notes on the phone, and have his handwriting turn into text.I am a little worried that 4G is going to limit the phone’s use, years from now, but I’m really glad I got him something that he can take to different carriers, and it’s a great phone for near future.

Great VALUE !
I will NEVER buy a phone from the cell phone providers again ! Their cheapest phone with internet starts at $300. Most people don’t think about how much their phone costs because it’s mortgaged into their monthly cell service plan. This Phone does what I need it to do for $100 dollars. I purchased a matching case with it. They should all come with a solid shock resistant case and unbreakable glass top, but selling phones is big business. So far the battery life is great. I followed the advice of other users and deleted all the unwanted crap that loads up because of google. I loved the SD slot. I didn’t have to go to verizon to have the phone activated .

Non Responsive
So I just received this phone overnight which was great. Unfortunately after spending all morning working with this phone, I realized it just will not work effectively and it is supposed to be brand new. It is a gorgeous phone, sleek, big enough screen…BUT I was checking out the camera functionality and it refused to select the photo button when I pressed on it..the colors are horrible so opaque and it was like this from the moment it went on, no vibrancy whatsoever (this is not something that anyone should have to play around with) colors should always be vibrant on a cell phone. Also who sells a phone with just a USB cable? and no charge box included with the cable. So i’m supposed to what??? plug this USB port where ?? in my computer? It is beyond ridiculous, and not an error. If you look at what comes in the box..clearly states only USB cable (dumb of me to not notice that yesterday) but been going through some things so that mistake was inevitable. NO PICTURE as I just packed it up to return

I like the phone thus far. The battery life has lasted more than 3 days. For extra security i can put on fingerprints which can be more than one. Also, fingerprints are in the back of the phone. You can open the phone by pin or fingerprint. This is what I call my random phone with a number I can pay as I go. I plan to buy another one. I like the features i unlocked thus far. The camera takes clearer pictures than my old Samsung S8.

So I had to return this phone because it wasn’t compatible. The received the phone back. But I’ve been waiting over a month now for Amazon to issue the refund. The phone was brand new. All I did was turn it on and stick my sim in it. Then when it didn’t connect. I took it out. Put it back in the box and returned it. Soo what is taking so long.Other than that the phone seems like it would be such a nice phone. I wish it would have worked out like it said it would in the description.

Update…
The two biggest downsides with this phone is the sluggish processor and minimal memory. DO NOT buy a phone with only 35GB of system storage. I was getting storage warnings within a month and I don’t use that many apps. The next big issue is how it doesn’t respond to touches! Initially I thought the phone was froze but it turned out, the slow processor was the culprit. My wife’s G Power 2021 with 64GB of system storage has absolutely no issues. I was thinking, “Well this is a G Play 2023 with the large battery so it should perform at least as well…”. I was wrong. I now have it in a drawer as a backup.I replaced it with a Moto Edge 2021 which has 256GB of system storage and a faster processer. It also has a 144Hz display. Granted, it’s a $250 phone but at least it’s useable.

When battery life is priority one….
It’s a price point ticket so don’t expect the moon and the stars. However, I did have to give it 5 stars because when I bought it I was looking for long battery life and that is what I got.Bear in mind, you won’t be able to install 70 different apps and games. It lacks the storage space for that. It takes the SSD card for video and photos though. It does run Pokemon GO good enough to get by.it has A FREAKING HEADPHONE JACK!!! Happy happy joy joy!!!Overall, I think it is geared twards the person who streams music and podcasts all damn day. It will do that like no other I’ve ever owned to date.

Best “smartphone” I ever have so far
So far so great! I’ve been using it for just 4 days. I’m very happy with the purchase. It replaces my always reliable Moto e2 from 10+ years ago… I’m one of those guys who procrastinate switching to new technologies but keep myself informed and updated, and take great care of everything I got, that’s why gadgets last many years on my hands. I’m impressed with the features and capabilities of the all new Moto G Pure 2021. The Moto G Pure has a respectable crystal clear screen size of 6.5″, good sound speaker (mono). I use it for browsing, reading, socializing, shopping, listening to music, watching videos, communication, getting info with Hey Google! and many others great useful things that make live easier and fun. For example, I pair it with my Bluetooth speaker, and use its Hotspot capability to allow my Dell laptop connects to the internet via the data plan from my service provider, all that and more for just $99.99! Nobody has to pay 10X more to have a decent, good phone nowadays. I’ll update the review and rating if something changes… UPDATE: I decided to downgrade it to 4 of 5 stars due to the low sensitivity of the WiFi signal reception. Surprisingly My Moto e2 is better at detecting weaker WiFi signals than the Moto G Pure! However it’s still a great value…

Budget Phone with Decent Performance for Basic Needs
Pros:Affordable priceUnlocked and works with most carriersUSB-C charger includedDecent screenFast and accurate fingerprint sensorCons:Comes with a lot of bloatwareFront camera is just okayRear camera is poor, with no image stabilizationMic sounds robotic and tinnyCan struggle with modern appsOverall:This phone is a good option for budget-minded users who need a basic phone for calling, texting, and browsing the web. However, the camera and performance are not great, so it is not suitable for users who need a phone for more demanding tasks. If you are willing to spend some time uninstalling the bloatware, this phone can be a decent option for the price. However, if you are looking for a phone with a better camera and app performance, you may want to consider the Samsung Galaxy A14 5G.

A quality cheap phone.
It is well worth the price and does everything I desire a phone to do. The only negative I have is the screen is somewhat difficult. I have had to touch an icon as many as a dozen times before it reacts. I have not installed a screen protector. Otherwise it is fine. I have had prior issues with this brand delaminating most likely overheating when recharging. I am now trying to only charge 80% or less (which it does quickly). I have yet to have a problem but it is likely too early to know.

Motorola stylus 4G 2023
Had the Motorola stylus 4G 2023 imported into the UK, which is not available from Motorola officially. Nice phone, good value. Camera isn’t fantastic but functional. Battery lasts 2 days with moderate use. Stylus is fun, kids love it. MP3s sound great via Bluetooth, Dolby Atmos helps. Doesn’t have LTE band 20 but doesn’t seem to be a problem with EE network.

DO NOT BELIEVE APPLE
$110 Android WHIPS iPhone 15 HYPEDoes everything I need and quickly!Apple still does not show charge state when off!Cannot rate Face recognition-do not use.Tried ULEFONE & UMIDIGI, both with better specs that would drop local WIFI on a weather app.Router not 10ft away!!NO WALLS OF ILLUSION! ANDROID 12 definite improvement over 10.Months of chipping the stone has produced a GEM. No rough edges!! & enough $ left 4 eating well!
