Finally, no scratches on forearms!
These come up to my elbow joint but they’re loose enough for ease of movement. The hand size is a little smaller than it could be but having bought gardening gloves before, I expected they’d run small so ordered a size up. The large fits me a little loosely but fits my husband perfectly – he wears a men’s large in regular gloves. We’ve already used the gloves for picking up sticks and breaking them down for yard waste pickup, and unlike previous bouts of stick cleaning, so far there’s been no blood from getting scratched by some of the sticks!Highly recommend.

Good gloves for light duty work
These gloves are very comfortable to wear. The palm and fingers are tough enough that I can work with gravel and rocks but still maintain enough dexterity to be able to gently handle seedlings as well as work a smartphone with my index finger. The long sleeves protect from bug bites, sun, and dirt while being breathable and comfortable. Sizing ran as expected.

Nice pair of long gardening gloves
The Meperez garden gloves are nice. Great material, not too thin, not too thick. Plus it feels like it won’t leave your skin feeling sticky after digging through dirt and water. The length is perfect. The material on the hands is very nice, so far I haven’t been pricked by sharp objects that can sometimes go through gloves.

Easy to put on and take off, even when wet. Hard to find elbow length gloves that are not leather. Leather is not good when wet, and whose yard is never wet? Love these gloves.

Not worth the money
Wife is in the garden working daily on plants, shrubs, trees. The gloves did a great job of protecting her arms but the plams wore out very fast are are now useless after a few months of use. If you are into gardening and need the protecting dont buy these garden gloves.

In what world are these puncture proof? I spent more time pulling weeds outta these gloves than out of the ground. Not for real yardwork at all, maybe just for playing around.

Great hands and arms protection; comfortable fit; no sweaty hands
Grabbing tightly to pesky prickly weeds and pulling them up was a breeze, and these gloves allow me to prune and trim our rose bushes and pull up weeds without pain and bandages. My husband and I both wear Medium in standard work and garden gloves, and the Medium size of these gloves is comfortable on both of us, with just the right finger and thumb lengths and widths for easy non-binding movement. Regular heavy-duty work gloves that provide some protection cause my hands to quickly get hot and sweaty and the gloves slip and twist. The material in these gloves seems to wick moisture away, keeping the interior smooth and dry so I can keep them on as long as I need to while working in the rose garden. After using them for several hours every day for the past week (we have a big rose garden), I highly recommend them. There is a touch-screen pad on one finger for using a smartphone, but I don’t know how well it works since I never take mine down to the garden.

Good coverage
I ordered the “ MEPEREZ Gardening Gloves, Non-Gender Adult Long Sleeve Gloves for Women & Men” to use when I work in the yard. I am very allergic to poison oak and poison Ivey and I need more arm protection than regular gloves. These gloves are great. The length stops just before my elbow which makes them comfortable. The material around the palm of your hands is thicker than the rest of the glove which gives you added protection for when you grab thorny weeds. The index finger allows you to use a touch screen but do not expect to type a message while wearing the gloves. At best, it will allow you to answer a call or swipe to read a message. I ordered a medium and they fit me perfectly. I have big hands for a woman so I would assume they run true to size for men. Ladies, I suggest going down a size from what you normally wear. All in all, I am very pleased with the gloves and give them five stars for comfort, protection, and value.

Not for the vain
I’m long past the point of caring how I look when I’m working at least and that’s about the only thing I could think of to not like about these. You might look a little goofy, but I’d rather look goofy than have itchy scratches or welts or whatever else a plant could do to me, to defend itself. They can’t move, so they have to have some tricks up their sleeves to survive. So I recommend these sleeves to help you survive. I didn’t try using the touchscreen ability, I need a fingerprint to unlock my phone and I don’t answer or look at my phone when I’m in the garden. If that’s important to you, you’d better not get into any poison ivy with the gloves and get the oils on your phone and then on your face or possibly worse, what if you use the phone in the bathroom?

These work great with thorn bushes!
I used these yesterday to remove a bunch of multiflora rose bushes from my property. In the past I would have to be very careful where I would grab the branch so it wouldn’t poke me. With these gloves I could grab handfuls of the cut bush with no issues at all! I love that they go up your arm to protect your arms, as well! I have large hands for a woman and my husband has large hands and the xl fit both of us perfectly.I did try to use the phone with them and it didn’t seem to work all that great. Regardless, awesome product! I will be buying another pair so my husband and I can both wear them!

I gave these gloves a test run in the yard today, pulliing black raspberries. Not 1 poke or scratch from the thornsFor what they are, they do not seem to be heavy weight-wiseWith the stitching on the forefinger I was able to answer the phone, click on aps etc. Taking photos was a bit more difficult but after a few tries it worked. It’s just nice to know if I need my phone for something, i don’t have to take the gives off.I know I will get a lot of use out of these great gloves.

Good Buy
My fiance and I do a lot of yard work. Our backyard has a lot of trees, which means a lot of leaves. We have raked up a lot of leaves and these gloves made it easy for picking up piles and piles of leaves and sticks. We’ve come across a few limbs that have had spikes and these gloves kept my hands and lower arms protected. I highly recommend these gloves if you do yard work or even gardening.

Comfy and very snug gloves.
Gloves feel very comfortable and the fit is pretty snug. You may want a size up if your hands are oversized. They seem to offer good protection for your average yard work around the house. Most of the protection is for the palm side of your hands but the woven part is pretty good against scrapes.

Great protective long gardening gloves
Have been looking for a good glove for working in the yard around raspberry and other pricker bushes and these fit the bill. Chose this vibrant color so they are easy to find. Came vacuum sealed, so need to let them sit after shaping them. I purchased large and fit just right. I have large hands with big fingers and these fit beautiful. The length goes up to my elbow, so I won’t get cut up from thorns this year!! Have the cell phone pad on pointer finger and other padding to help when raking. Material feels like it will be breathable in hot weather too, which is a plus. Recommend these to anyone working in gardens with pricker bushes.

Good gloves but they are hot to wear
Love these gloves because they protect my arms from thorns and other scratchy plants. That being said, they are hot in the Florida sun. It is equivalent to wearing a thick long sleeve shirt. Beyond that minor issue these gloves rock. I would buy again.

The gloves fit large hands with long fingers. unfortunately they ripped out on first use.
My initial review was prior to using the gloves and I had high hopes. No more virginia creeper getting to my wrists. The gloves did prevent the attack of the creeper but unfortunately they ripped out on my right hand next to but not on the seam of my thumb and index finger.I am giving the gloves 3 stars due to comfort, coverage and the fact that I was so happy with them until i looked down and saw the tear at the end of my 3 hours of gardening.I did use them around prickly items and they did protect my hands.I will try duct tape to see if i can salvage them.

These gloves fit well and are very light and comfortable. Probably not thick enough for thorny things, but the biggest problem is the little burr type seeds stick to them badly. Not sure if I will be able to get them all off.

Moderate thorn protection, not really for small hands
I’m a 5’3″ woman with relatively small hands. That the smallest size these gloves were available in was Medium was a little disappointing, but since products made in China do tend to run small, I thought I’d give them a try. They are slightly too big for me, workable but will probably better fit people who wear a true Medium. Most of the thorns I need protection from are wild blackberry and a rogue rose that was actually pulled out years ago but refuses to fully die and sends out suckers every spring & fall. They are NASTY thorns. So I’m not shocked that these gloves were not a match for them because really nothing short of falconry gloves are a match for those thorns. These gloves did protect nicely from the smaller thorns and burr clover, though.I’m concerned about how long these will last because after a single bout of weeding, there’s a spot on one of the fingertips that’s already starting to peel back a bit. Only time will tell, that may be mostly cosmetic, but I’ll update this review if events warrant.

Great thorn protection
These are perfect for pulling up berry bushes and brambles, and work really well for their intended purpose. However, I could not get the touchscreen finger to work on my device at all. Personally, I think it is an unnecessary feature for thorn-proof gloves. Once you’re really in the bushes, pulling vines out, you’re not likely to pull your phone out and text something. If you did, it’s not very hard to take gloves off, especially these gloves, which don’t stick to your hands. Either way, they do the thing they’re supposed to do, and they do it very well. They keep thorns from poking through your gloves, and protect your forearms from scratches. They don’t really need a touchscreen finger. These fit well, stretch a lot, and have a lot of room in the sleeve for men with large forearms. Large would probably fit most average men, medium (which is what I ordered) is a little small for my larger hands, and suited more for a woman’s hands as modeled in the photo. Overall, excellent thorn-resistant gardening gloves for men and women.

So cool
I’ve been on a mission to rid my backyard of this weird infestation of poison ivy, Virginia creeper, and English ivy for about the last 3 years since it’s been trying to choke my huge maple and other trees in my backyard and also been on the lookout for gloves which will withstand more than a weeks’ worth of summer planting, gardening, weeding and work and stumbled on these. I had a previous pair that didn’t last thru even 5 washings and I need a pair that’s gonna keep my hands and arms from breaking out in boils from all these things I’m allergic too, which is why I thought the long sleeves would be great and I was totally right. The gloves fit pretty well, even with my small hands, AND the sleeves don’t roll up or fall down right at the worst time when I’m carting those devil vines to the trash which is so great. I weeded and mowed and all the stickers and seed pods didn’t fall in the gloves even from the top, or stab me. The gloves are super lightweight, easy to wash and don’t shrink. I do like the 1 finger being usable with my phone, and in an ideal world, every single finger would also have the same stitching honestly, but that’s a small price to pay. The fabric is actually tight knit so you don’t have to worry about getting stabbed with thorns on the palms which are also covered in stitched fabric or the arms, and there is a bit of a gather on the wrists so you don’t have to worry about things falling into the sleeves and then into the palms while you’re gardening which is genius and also keeps the sleeves up too. They’re super day glo, which I don’t care about, but more importantly, they fit well, they breathe well, and they are incredibly useful for all the icky stuff I’m pulling out. I’ve washed them a few times now and no stitching has pulled out, or any holes have developed, and it feels like these will be good for longterm usage, but I will keep the review updated if that changes. Great quality gloves, with extra utility, and the sleeves are such a breathable upgrade that I will never go back to just hand gloves without that extra.

Protection for arms as well as hands
My wife and I are both gardeners and use gardening gloves the majority of days during growing season. We had never had a long pair of gloves like these. So I ordered these for my wife and she had the follow to say about them:I wish I’d had these gloves several years ago when I had a container of small cacti that had almost invisible needles and every time I got near it I would get at least one needle in my hands. And then another time when my husband and I tried to bathe a stray cat. Long arm gloves would have been very helpful then! But for present time I like having these long gloves because I think they will make some gardening jobs easier and maybe even safer. Both my husband and I are allergic to poison ivy and sometimes you just don’t see it in time to avoid touching it and your arm can brush up against it. The longer length of these gloves should help prevent those accidental touches on bare skin.Another reason I like the longer length is because we have an unreasonable amount of ants and many of them are fire ants and they seem to love me. Last year I accidentally had touched somewhere where they apparently were just waiting for me and thankfully I saw the army of them climbing up my regular gloves which I immediately removed and threw to the ground to avoid getting stung. If you have roses or bougainvillea vines these gloves will offer you much more protection against their thorns. The palms are nicely padded and that enables you to get a better grip on a plant you are trying to pull up. These gloves fit me good and they don’t restrict my fingers and they also don’t have those very long fingers that make it more difficult to hold pruners or just about anything else because of the extra length fabric getting hung up in whatever tool I’m trying to use. These feel nice and flexible. They look like a good quality pair of gloves. The long sleeves are plenty big without being too big. Overall a very nice pair of gloves and I am very happy to have them!

Great for gardening, working on heavy equipment and handling wild cats
I need a pair of gloves that cover my arm up to my elbow for trimming thorny bushes and cleaning up gardening debris. I ordered these in a medium based on the size chart and they fit well. The only problem is that the right glove pointer finger is sewn off center and is uncomfortable to wear due to the seam being almost in the center of my finger. These long gloves will also be beneficial for working on cars, bikes or anything that has the potential of scratching arms, like wild cats! The fabric is lightweight cotton yet sturdy and the palm is reinforced in all the right places! The pointer fingers have touchscreen tips to use on electronic devices while wearing the gloves. They work, but they’re a little bulky. These gloves are machine washable. I placed an exchange order for another pair and I will update this review once I receive a new pair.Update: I received the new pair which is sewn better at the finger, but the fabric is a little thinner than the original.

Easy to put on, decently protective
These are some pretty easy to use garden gloves. They aren’t stiff and the fingers are quite nimble, good for semi-precise tasks. The sleeves are soft like cloth, and not stretchy but they stay in place relatively well. the inside is a black woven polyester-like fabric that is smooth and cool., similar to the yellow exterior. The fabric is decently poke resistant, so you can easily stick your arm between rose plants. However, the woven fabric will catch and pull on thorns. The palms are reinforced with a light layer of protective fabric, which is good for moderate levels of protection and grip. The fingertips have these black pads which work with touchscreens, but you need to push down hard enough that your fingertip is touching the glove firmly or else it won’t respond.Overall these are a decent pair of long sleeve gardening gloves and they fit comfortably. The fabric tends to catch on things, so it’s difficult to say how long it will last before it looks raggedy, but it will likely hold together and be usable still.

I really like these gloves!
I am really hard on gardening work gloves, but it’s not all my fault. Here in Southern Florida where I live there are a LOT of plants that have thorns, sharp barbs, poison whiskers, etc. It seems like we have a wide variety of all those plants in our yard, and many I planted myself. But they do take a toll on work gloves, but better them than me.These Meperez long-sleeve gloves are really perfect for working with many of the ornery plants that we have. Hand-pulling weeds is where they will come in especially “handy”, since some of the sharp parts in the plants are up relatively high in the plant, and can cut me as I reach down to pull especially difficult-to-pull weeds with ordinary-length gloves. So I’m looking forward to using them for this purpose (when I have time to devote to that task).I applaud Meperez for including a chart in their ad to help determine the proper glove size. This really helped me to see that based on my hand dimensions I really should be ordering the X-Large size. I usually shy away from that because although my hands are fairly large, the X-Large gloves from other companies tend to have the fingers WAS too long. So I sometimes order the Large instead, which because they usually aren’t wide enough are a struggle to put on (and sometimes rip at the seams). But THESE X-Large gloves are perfectly sized for me in every way. The palms are wide enough so I can easily slip them on, yet the fingers aren’t too long so I don’t have a bunch of extra material at each fingertip. The long sleeves also aren’t too tight – everything about these gloves is just perfect. The only thing I haven’t tried yet is actually using them on plants with thorns and the like, so I don’t know how well the non-leather fabric will protect my hands from punctures. But the material seems pretty dense, and the padding in the palm area is thick, so I’m hopefully optimistic that they will pass the “thorn” test.

Good gloves.
These are nice. The ‘touchscreen’ insert on the fingertip works well. I thought based on the size chart that Medium would fit well, but they are a little short in the fingers. I should have ordered the Large instead. But they will be good protection working in the yard.

Long Gardening Gloves
So far these long gardening gloves do the trick agains some of the pricklier things I have to do battle with in the garden and yard. They are comfortable and flexible, and so far have not been too hot.The touchscreen finger is a bonus, even though I am not entirely sure how often I will use it – I do not think I want to get dirt and grime all over my phone, but at the same time it is a pain to have to remove the gloves to use the phone.
