It’s cute but…
This is quite a small barrel and will have trouble smoking a whole chicken, never mind a brisket! ALSO there’s no way to release the ashes so I have to dump the whole thing upside down 🙄😑

Not the best functionality
This grill is super cute but unfortunately that’s the best thing about. Rubber on latches to release heat fall off easily, coals do not last long, very portable but legs are extremely short, lip around the grill makes it difficult to dump out coal dust.

Never judge a book by it’s cover
This is a great LOOKING grill, but not very good working. We tried cooking chicken and it just didn’t get hot enough, the chicken took forever. Meanwhile we had complements by passers by in the park what a cool looking grille it was. Too bad looks aren’t the main reason you buy a grill. Not recommended

The ultimate grill for two, tailgate and camping companion!
Obsessed with this grill! I bought an 8×13 mini griddle as an accessory which works great. Holds the perfect amount of coals using a webber compact chimney starter. Six full size burgers would be a snug fit at first but fine after they shrink down a bit.I saw some complaints about assembly. I didn’t have any issues. The unit came with an instruction manual and assembly steps.

Nice-Small-pics misleading
I will update when I use it. I just got it and put it together.The thermostat is what sold me on this because I like to know the temps when cooking chicken.It’s nice. The size measurements that were given is accurate. Though the pictures with food cooking had to be baby size and not average. 3 chicken quarters or 2 – 8oz steaks with a sausage link or two would fit but not much more. Especially not what was in the pic.It does have a little smoker ability.It’s enough for just me which is what I was wanting.

Appears well made
I haven’t used this yet. The first time will be this upcoming Labor Day weekend. Assembly was pretty easy but it helps if you have the right size wrenches. The only thing that concerns me are the rubbery plastic tips on the adjustable air vents. They come off easy and will probably get lost eventually. I know the vents will get hot so they need some finger protection, but they could be better, maybe longer metal tabs to grab with some holes to reduce the heat. It also looks like you have to open the lid from the side when it’s hot so your arm isn’t over the heat. I’m thinking of drilling a hole in the front of the lid and adding a wood knob for easier opening. Again, I haven’t used it yet so my concerns might end up being moot. Overall, it’s well made and looks cool.

Excellent product for its size
The grill was a bit smaller than expected and yet I was excited about that. It will fit in back my SUV, with room to spare, on my fishing trips.I did not need to instructions to assemble but I used them anyway because I have no trust my assembly abilities.It had a wobble after assembly but that was just me rushing through. After loosening the screws on each side, pressing down, and tightening back up… poof! The wobble was gone.The metal is fine quality for the product and I would buy again.

Picture is deceiving
There is no way you can fit 2 steaks, 6 burgers and 8 hot dogs on this grill unless they are 3 oz steaks, slider burgers and mini dogs. It’s super small.Update: Since posting this review I have been harassed by someone from the sellers customer service team to remove my unfavorable post and bribing me with a $10 Amazon gift card for doing so.

Great For Beach Cookouts!
It’s such a great compact little beast of a grill. You’re not going to do any crazy BBQ or smoking but it’s great for a tailgate or a beach cookout. You can cook 6-8 burgers at a time and a few dogs. My only gripe is that because it’s small you’ll need to cycle new coals to cook multiple batches. Definitely get a coal starting can and you’ll be all set!

Great Little Portable Grill/Smoker
This is a great little portable grill/smoker for camping or emergency power-outage events. Well made and very easy to assemble in a matter of minutes. One possible negative is that the bottom and top grates are a little thin in their gauge, and will likely deteriorate more quickly. I am currently looking into ordering extras as a backup. Still, a good buy.

I moved into an apartment that doesn’t allow grills so I got this for my very small balcony. Once I get my fire started with coals and pecan chips this little thing rocks.I ca fit 4 good size steaks on it or a slab of ribs and they come out good. My only issue is I can’t get it to close tightly. It always a little gap

Instructions Were Lacking and Missing Pieces
First I want to point out that this smoker worked exactly as expected. The temperature stayed nice and consistant and the meat came out beautifully. The racks took a bit to clean but worked fine. The vent that had screws and nuts in it worked great.Now onto the issues. The instructions were really lacking. There was only a images of how to put the smoker together but no actual assembly instructions. It wasn’t that difficult to assemble other than 2 of the nuts were the wrong ones and I had one missing bolt. So I couldn’t finish putting the whole thing together without grabbing some of extra parts I had in my garage. In general most companies add a few extra pieces just incase you personally lose one or it breaks when you are using it. This applies to most nuts, bolts, nails and such. I was kind of stunned that there were not only no extra pieces but not even enough. Overall the smoker works as expected but I was slightly frustrated about the lack of needed pieces.

Excellent charcoal grill. Well made and easy to transport.
We just tried out this grill even though it is 28 degrees out today! We have gas grills but, for picnics and camping, this little grill is perfect. It is made well. My husband inspected every part as he put the grill together and didn’t once declare anything as “junk” like he often does when assembling things. The cooking space is medium sized. We could cook 6 to 8 burgers or a couple of good sized steaks on it which is plenty for our needs. The top locks so the grill can be carried around without worries and the legs are stable and even. Assembly took about 40 minutes.I thought the grill was a little heavy but my husband disagrees. He says it is of a good weight and made well so he welcomes the bit of extra weight. He likes that is compact and will fit into the backseat or trunk without being a space hog. It will be used a lot this spring and summer and even in the fall. We camp often and own a marina where we grill all summer long. There is a big gas grill out there but, when it’s just a few of us, this will be perfect and easy to use. Although we only used the grill once, I am giving it 5 stars. If, after using it more, I find we are having issues, I will update and rerate.

Quality issues and tips for assembly
This charcoal mini barrel grill has similar features to my full size one. It has adjustable vents on each side and on the stack.It also has a thermometer but I would not trust it. I had to pop the dial back on its base where it was only connected by a thin needle when it fell apart during assembly. The dial of the thermometer is loose and can turn easily while the pointer stays in place.The wooden handle had two cracks in it as pictured. It is repairable by using a wooden dowel but I should not have to with a new grill. The tabs on the vents that protect your hands from the heat come off easy and will likely get lost.There is a divider to keep two separate charcoal temperatures, but I find it too awkward to use on a grill this small. To start the charcoals, you will have all of the charcoal in a single pile anyway.Make sure you use non-stick spray or it will stick badly. I am used to using a well seasoned iron grill grates and forgot. These grates are less durable than what I am used to, but it is already on the heavy side of being portable so iron grates would have probably made it too heavy.The assembly instructions were not good and consisted of a labeled picture of the parts. There are three different bolt sizes involved and no instructions on where they went. My tips:-You need a wrench in addition to a screwdriver (neither included)-Separate nuts and bolts by size-All by bolts should be on the outside, the nuts on the inside of the grill- The largest nuts and bolts are for the legs.-The holes on one side of the legs are angled, face those away from the grill or the legs will not lay flush.-The smallest bolts are for the vents, there are three bolts and only two nuts. The stack vent does not need a nut-The set of four remaining nuts and matching bolts are for the stack-The last nuts and bolts are for the handle-The metal pieces with bent ends are for keeping the top from opening completely. Slip them into the top and then the bottom side slotsBased on the cracked handle, breaking thermometer, and poor instructions at the current asking price, I cannot rate this mini grill highly. However, I expect to use it frequently when I do not want to break out the full sized grill (I can fix the handle and use a separate thermometer) 🤷♀️

A great mini grill to take on the go
We have been grilling the hardcore style when we go camping with just a grill over stones and decided it was time to get something a little less savage and opted for this MAISON HUIS Mini Small Smoker Portable grill.The grill comes unassembled and it took a little bit less than an hour to put everything together. The quality of the grill is pretty decent, nothing too fancy but well built. The legs were a little bit uneven but that was easily fixed with some minor tweaks.What I really like about this grill is the portability. There is a lock to hold the upper cover closed and once that has been locked, I can easily carry the grill around with the handle.The cooking area is quite small but good enough to cook 2 small steaks or a few skewers.Overall, this is a pretty nice mini grill, I am quite pleased with it and will give it a solid 4 stars rating.

Cutest grill
This is one of the cutest portable grills that I have seen lately. You will need a little patience to assemble it particularly it doesn’t have a step by step instruction. It wasn’t very hard, though. Just take a look at the pictures on Amazon and you’ll be all right. My concern is that I have enough screws and nuts, luckily I got all I need, but it wouldn’t hurt to put some extras.This is good for a very small family, though. As you can see, it is not very big. You can easily carry it even in the small trunk of a small car. It heats up fine . You may need smaller pieces of charcoal or you can crush them into smaller pieces.

This is a cute little grill. The bottom well for charcoal is fairly deep. The cooking surface area is tiny. 3 small hamburgers. The build is very good quality. It’s not super heavy so it’s easy to carry around, and the carrying handle is wood and very well attached with a good grip. It sits steady without any wobble

Excellent for small to medium grilling needs
Give yourself approx 20 minutes to get this one assembled. It’s a fairly simple process but the product does not come with step by step instructions as what you get is basically a parts sheet with a diagram that you’ll use to work out the installation on your own. That said once you get it up and running its an efficient compact grill and works well for light to medium grilling needs or if portability and ease of transport is a must.

Bad quality
I was super stoked to buy this but while putting it together I realized several screws were messed up and didn’t fit with the nuts so I went and bought replacement nuts, the paint chipped day one as well. I wouldn’t not buy this again and wish I never bought it to begin with to be honest
