Disappointed
As a big fan of lilies, I was very disappointed with these biscuits. My cat really didn’t like them and they were very dry. The packaging was not resealable, which I consider to be poor.

A great quality cat food
My cats were on the kitten variant of Lily’s Kitchen from young kittens so progressing to the adult one was a great choice. I choose Lily’s Kitchen because it is a natural food and grain free. It has really good quality ingredients so I feel confident that I am feeding my cats a really good quality food that is good for them. I do feed them this twice a day and then they have wet food so they are on a mixed diet. However this is a complete cat food so can be used exclusively as a main meal for your cat.I haven’t tried it myself so I cannot comment on the flavour but my cats seem to enjoy it and there is never one piece left. I’ve added a photo of one of my cats not so subtlety hinting that it may be food time.

Made Freddie the cat he is today!
I started using this food on the day I rescued Freddie six months ago. He was in pretty rough shape as he had been on the streets for a while and had lost an eye in the process. He is also FIV+ so good nutrition is particularly important. He has blossomed into a very happy and handsome guy. Most of it due to the quality of his nutrition. I thoroughly recommend Lily’s Kitchen dry cat food. Freddie approves this message

My cat couldn’t get enough of it!
Don’t usually leave reviews but this was an absolute hit! I feed my cat a mix of wet and dry food and usually he just eats the meat and leaves the dry food. Today (using this for the first time) he ate everything in his bowl and even licked it clean, absolutely loved it. It is worth the price I will be buying again when I run out. Thank you from a very happy cat and a very happy owner!

Healthy and Sustainable
Lily’s Kitchen claims “We have a responsibility to our planet and everything in it. I am so conscious about the impact we are having on our planet and their policies on this matter match my requirements when buying cat food.The second reason is that I want to give my cats a well-balanced and healthy diet. With their focus on “organic ingredients” this makes buying it a no brainer!

Happy cat
Happy cat! Lily’s pet food is high quality. My cat has a sensitive stomach and normally only gets applaws. Since the recall I switched her to this brand and it’s gone very well I must say. I have this on Amazon subscription and am very impressed with the freshness, it smelt fresher than the bags I got at the pet store and other sites.

Lily’s chicken changed taste & look again, cats won’t touch it now
Ordered this May 2021, it would appear that once again the appearance & taste has changed again. Cats won’t miss a trick, the nibbles are smaller as were before changing before, they are darker, and my cats refuse to eat them. They adjusted to the change where it changed company, but this recent batch seems it’s different again. They used to clear their bowls as loved it, both cats won’t touch it now. There’s obviously something change. Very frustrating when to get a cat on food they like, then it changes.

Fussy cat seems to rather enjoy these!!
I have a tortie who is quite possibly the fussiest & sickly cat I’ve ever had. She has difficulty digesting wet foods so finding a biscuit brand that sits comfortably in her stomach without losing the appeal has been rather challenging.Whilst a little on the expensive side, I thought I’d give these a go as I’ve heard good things. Put simply, my cat absolutely loves them and we’ve had absolutely no issues at all, which cannot be said about other well known brands. I’ll definitely be ordering more and may even try the chicken ones as well, just to keep it interesting.If your cat is fussy with biscuits or has a few digestive problems like mine, I’d recommend giving these a go. My cat seems to love it and she is hard to please!!

The BEST
I’m incredibly happy with this food for my cats, especially as one of them is SUPER picky with EVERYTHING. She eats this with no problems and loves it, so does my other cat. It makes me happy because I know that they are both eating healthy. I’m very concerned about them having the best they can get, to give them the best chance of living a long life of being happy and healthy. I wouldn’t buy any other food for my cats now after switching to Lilys Kitchen a few years ago. It truly is amazing, quality is always top notch and there’s nothing but good stuff in it!!! I promise!! (read the ingredients yourself) . So from myself and my 2 kitties thank you to Lilys for helping keep my cats healthy and happy =^-^= =^-^= <3

Great quality
All of my 3 cats love this food, they even prefer it to their wet food. One of my cats is allergic to chicken, corn and some other ingredients you can usually find in low quality cat food and Lily’s Kitchen Fabulous Fish is just perfect for him. He also has problems with gums and is missing teeth, so even though he isn’t picky he’d beg for wet food all the time and rarely eat dry food unless he was really desperate. Fortunately it’s not the case anymore.I recommended it to my friend and her cats love it as well.It’s worth mentioning Lily’s Kitchen is an ethical, cruelty-free company, they don’t conduct animal testing (most of the popular pet food brands do, in very cruel ways) and uses recyclable dry food packaging.

It is not the first time that I order “Lily’s Kitchen Fabulous Fish” but I never ha the chance to write about it. This dry food is simply amazing. When you open the bag you can actually smell that it is made from fish, not like all the other brands that it is impossible to guess the contents by the smell. My can always prefer wet food, but she cannot resist every time I give hes some of the Lily’s Dry Fish food, I will soon try the chicken one and let you all know. It is very good the fact that Lily’s also use sustainably sourced ingredients which is very important nowadays.

You can smell they are made with real ingredients..
If my cat was to review these biscuits, it would be 5*. She loves them and had three massive servings in one sitting when we first received it. The reason why I only give it 2* is because these biscuits absolutely stink – not only the kitchen but any adjoining rooms and I have to either cover her food bowl between feeds or apologise to guests walking in as the smell is a cross between moldy used sport socks and someone having recently used the toilet. Consequently I will not be finishing the bag as after 1 month and a half of this very upsetting smell (especially at breakfast), we are switching back to another brand. Shame really as the ingredients are great and my cat loves the biscuits.

Is this genuine?
My cat loves the fish mix, I usually order a 2kg bag at a time. BUT the bag clearly says resealable, but there’s no resealable part. Recently I ordered it and it was missing, I thought maybe it was a one off manufacturing error. I just ordered it again last week and once again it has no resealable part to it. I have to wrap it over with a clip to keep fresh. Leads me to believe the product is not genuine. Probably the last time I’ll purchase it as then who knows what I’m actually feeding to my cat.

Luckily one of my cats will just eat the Lily’s dry mix however the other I have to mix with wet food.I have fed my cats Lily’s since they were kittens and everyone comments on their soft fur and healthy teeth and no bad breath! The fish can be quite strong smelling however the cats love it and I know it’s just from good quality ingredients! I’ll never change my cats dry food!I hope you found this review helpful! x

No complaints about this. My kittens took a while to adjust to this but now love it. I was looking for cat food with ethical values and Lilys were reasonably highly scored on an ethical consumer website. My only gripe is vague details around where the chicken comes from – I’d prefer to know the exact conditions they’re kept in.

Vinegary smell.
Really wanted my cats to get on with these biscuits because they’re natural and contain healthy ingredients, but unfortunately they were a complete waste of money as my cats wouldn’t touch them. They turned their noses up every time I put the biscuits down and continued crying for food. I even tried mixing them with a wet food pouch, to no avail. I suspect they may have been past their best but forgot to check the use by date before chucking over half the pack in the bin, as they had an overpowering vinegary smell which I’m sure was off putting for the cats. I have 5 cats, 2 of whom are like dogs in that they will literally eat anything, so something was definitely off with these biscuits. Maybe being all natural they do not contain preservatives, in which case the suppliers should be ensuring they are delivered super fresh. There was no obvious way to reseal the bag up after opening either which is a big design flaw, however the vinegary smell was already present when I first opened the new bag. Complete waste of money.

Both my cats love this.

Our two nearly 1-year old DSH cats love this food. They go crazy for it as soon as I out it down. They have gingivitis so struggle with some dry foods but this works really well, they don’t seem to be in pain while eating it. It complements their Lily’s kitchen wet food (fillets). They’re eating a lot more.

My cat usually has Burgess or iams dry food. I was expecting him to love this lilies dry food but nope he was zero interested. Could not have been less enthused if he tried. I’m wondering why with 65% meat and other goodness. But certainly was not appealing to him. So I have a bag of expensive lilys dry cat food what will I do with it mix a small amount in with the iams. Nom, Nom, Nom
I have two very fussy Maine Coon cats. One of them suffers from an auto immune condition which can cause him to overgroom and then develop bald patches. One of the factors for this is diet so I tried these biscuits along with a host of others looking for some with both good ingredients but more importantly that the cats would actually eat. They love these biscuits even the really fussy one. They both seem to have benefited from the change in diet and their coats are really full and glossy now.

Beware the fish one
I’ve always had cats in the house so was really surprised to find the our latest rescue had no interest in food at all.You give her wet and she would only eat the gravy. Dry, not interested. I tried all different types of dry and she would only eat a little bit. I began to wonder if she was being fed elsewhere and I wondered how on earth she was going to survive on so little food.I decided to try Lily’s Kitchen as a last resort, before a trip to the vet for a check-up. Absolute success! She still a slow eater and it takes her all day to eat the half of what a normal cat would eat but she does eat every single bit. That in itself is a major breakthrough as up until trying this I always had to throw away food at the end of the day.It is expensive, but this food is up to 70% meat so I guess you are paying for Premium ingredients.It’s a few months now since she started on this, and her fur is glossy and shiny.Very happy with this and have now bought other flavours to try.This review was for chicken casserole. It’s expensive but would recommend.The next review is for the fish flavour.The fish food smells absolutely disgusting. When you walk into the room it actually makes you heave.I’m not going to give this to my cat.

Dropped a grade in quality under new ownership
Lily’s Kitchen transferred their business to private equity firm Catterton who then sold it to Nestlé.Nestlé changed the best, and most expensive, cat biscuits into just another brand of premium-priced cat biscuits. I’ll tell you how I know: I tasted them out of curiosity. The Nestle era ones are darker, harder, pong more, and when I tasted them they have more of the ordinary filler type taste other cat biscuits have. Lily’s biscuits used to taste more like concentrated meat stock, that I could eat as treats… if it were not for the fact that they are expensive and I already trust my glossy hair to Timotei.The positive is, the cat still likes it more than its wet food. But then, it liked Arden Grange, Thrive and once upon a time Ava grain free biscuits, slightly less but they are all so much cheaper. Sometimes you even heard them being chewed.Lily’s cat biscuits are no longer top or on my subscription. I was prepared to pay twice the price per kilo for it than other grain free brands when it was indisputably the best, but it seems to me the search for higher profit margin and lowering the quality risks running this brand into the ground.

Worth pouncing on my face at 5AM for
My two guys love this so much they’ll start attacking us at 5AM for breakfast. And specifically the chicken flavor, they don’t care for the white fish dry food from Lily’s. I’ve fed them this for 3 years since they were kittens and they are healthy little guys. They eat wet food from another brand for dinner also but this is the clear winner worth pouncing on us every morning for.Anyone have automatic food dispenser recs?

My ragdol can be fussy as to what she will eat. I was getting concerned because she just wasn’t eating much at all, so I bought Lilly’s kitchen chicken and she loves it and has now put on a bit of weight which is good because she was definitely on the lower end of what she should be. Used to be really good
When we first bought this cat food, our cat LOVED it – she would literally sprint to the bowl to get some. After Lily’s was bought out by Nestle at some point I noticed a change in the food – darker, harder and smells less nice (more kind of stale, it’s hard to describe). We switched to ordering from Lily’s direct but the last couple of months bags our cat has just refused to eat. She also went off her Lily’s wet food at the same time (and I’m sure the quality has suffered there too). We’ve now switched to Thrive but it really made me sad because I love the subscription option, the ethos, the cute and environmentally friendly packaging. None of that matters against our cat not being able to eat it though! I would say her coat has been wonderful on it though. Just a shame that quality seems to have slipped!

Cat no longer likes it. Recipe changed?
When we first started feeding the chicken casserole dry food to our cat some years ago, he really liked it. However, recently he has not been enjoying it at all.There are two possible explanations: either his taste has changed, or the recipe has changed. The old cynic in me strongly suspects it is the latter, particularly now the company is part of Nestlé. Perhaps some of the expensive high-quality ingredients have been replaced with cheaper alternatives?Whatever the reason, we can no longer justify buying a premium priced product that our cat struggles to eat. We have changed to another premium brand of dry food and our cat cannot get enough of it!

First time trying.
Impulsively bought this as I was running low on my cat’s usual food and this was on next day delivery. My cats barely touched it and normally they love their food. Sadly will not be buying again.

The best cat food.
My cats won’t eat wet food so I wanted to make sure I was getting them the best dry food with a very high meat content.This food is very expensive but of all the high meat content food I’ve tried my cats prefer this and this is also the best ingredients wise. Definitely worth the money.

Best cat food I’ve ever tried
Since I’ve adopted my two cats, I always try to give them the best food I can afford. From years and years of experience raising cats, I know how important it is to provide them a grain-free and meat-rich diet.After testing many brands, I can tell that Lily’s Kitchen is the best one I’ve bought so far for my cats. The nutritional content is very good and I really appreciate that, besides grains, it is also free from artificial colouring, which is bad for cats’ kidneys on a long term. They both seem to really like the flavour – one of my cats, who has never been too much into dry food, absolutely loves it! I’ve also noticed a difference on them – since switching to this food, their fur has been softer and shinier.It’s not the cheapest option, that is true, but I would highly recommend buying this to make sure your cats have a healthy and tasty diet. Will be buying Lily’s Kitchen for mine for the foreseeable future.

Our fat cat doesn’t gorge on this
Our fat cat doesn’t gorge himself on this like he does other brands. He’ll eat it, but he won’t stuff himself. If you’ve got a fat cat this might be the right balance of nutritionally complete plus “I’ll eat it if there’s anything else” that you need
