Monitor seems proficient enough but warehouse deal beware
I always fall for it. An as new quality assured item from the warehouse – and every time something isn’t right and it’s annoying to fix. This arrived without the hdmi cable that was supposed to be in the box. Is that an option in any Amazon chat robot dialogue ? No – does it mean I want to return the item? No – but it’s so frustrating – beware the warehouse. Monitor itself seems good – power cable cheap piece of crap, but as it isn’t being moved around hopefully not an issue.

Fast & clear, but blurry movement.
The size and speed was impressive, however the display I received had very bad ghosting/blur. Darker colours particularly would mush together making a very muddy gaming experience.

Value for money
Good value monitor.Lots of adjustment, nice selection of ports 2 x HDMI 1 x DP.Although frame is very thin, top and 2 sides have around a 6mm black border but it’s not too bad that it would annoy you.Picture is very good but I haven’t tested it with intensive modern games as that isn’t it’s intended use.Only negative comment I can make is that I didn’t realise it came with a power brick so monitor connector is a barrel jack and not a 3 pin kettle lead type. Not sure what will happen in the future if that goes fubar, maybe I’m concerning myself over nothing.

I’ve seen a few other people claim this monitor is “actually 60hz”, those people have plugged the monitor in with a HDMI rather than displayport, nerfing their own monitor’s maximum bandwidth.

First gaming monitor so I cant really compare to anything but for what I paid, no dead pixels, hits the 240hz I wanted, is 1440 like I wanted, be aware it uses display port 1.4 cable and not hdmi 2.1, which I didnt realise but its no big issue, that cable is probably cheaper anyway tbh. Fast and responsive monitor, more than happy with it, 27″ seems a lot bigger than I thought too which is a bonus!

The monitor is not bad for the price but on the xbox it cannot run at 120hz and 1440p.You can run it at 120hz and 1080p or 60hz and 1440p.Maybe I’m doing something wrong so I raised a product support ticket on Amazon but received no replyTried emailing them directly, no reply

No USB interface.
Before buying, I didn’t notice that this monitor doesn’t have a USB interface, so I still have to connect many cables to my laptop instead of using the monitor as a docking station. This annoys me a bit. But other aspects are pretty good.

Just get it!!
VA/IPS tearing etc etc I plugged the monitor in and it worked flawlessly. I’ve gone from a 1080p 75hz to this one and it looks great and haven’t noticed anything wrong with it. Also the description is wrong when plugged in via the display port it actually runs at 165hz. I haven’t tried game mode yet and I’m not sure I will bought it at £149 and worth every penny!

Amazing picture quality, Average gaming experience (still good!)
Firstly, ignore the reviews saying this is a terrible monitor.I bought this monitor as an upgrade from a 1080p, 24″, 75hz monitor and i can confidently say the picture quality and refresh rate performs beyond my expectations for the price (paid 144 pounds on sale).Pros:- Amazing quality (95 brightness, 75-80 contrast). Take a look at the image i attached, although it doesn’t do it justice.- 144hz and freesync works amazing, at least in the games i play.- While the screen doesn’t reach the bezels, it is still large enough and much better then my previous monitor.- Truer Blacks, see attached image, where the monitor on the left is the KOORUI and the right is my old 75hz, 1080p monitor. It may be hard to see in the image, but the old monitor has washed out blacks, while the KOORUI has much more realistic blacks.Cons:- Smearing/Ghosting. Yes, this monitor suffers from this. However, at this price point there will always be some compromise and the smearing is no where near as bad as the reviews say it is. If you use OverDrive, Freesync and increase the contrast a little the smearing is less noticeable. If you really don’t want smearing, go for another monitor but you might be compromising elsewhere by doing so (artifacting/other issues). In my opinion, it’s manageable and I am 100% not complaining at this price point. If this monitor was 250+ then yes, it is bad.

Fine for text & office, less so for videos, poor for photo use: advertised sRGB gamut is missing.
Koorui 27E1QA 27″ 2560×1440 bought 29 Dec, 2022.Looks fine & set up is easy. The stand is secure but has no height adjustment. There are youtubes showing a 27E1Q (No A at end) with a height & rotation adjustment. The QA supplied does not have these. The fixed height is a few inches above the desk and I find I prefer the monitor to be low so that I do not have to stretch my neck upwards to see the top of the screen, made worse by wearing bifocal specs.For office & text I used the 27″ 2560×1440 60Hz is fine. It required a lot of colour adjustment. This worked: Colour: User, R26,G35,B30. Display: Contrast 100, Brightness 41. In general the contrast was quite low and the colours a bit washed out. (DCR varied brightness depending on page contents.)For video and photo I was looking for sRGB color gamut which is advertised on Amazon uk as present in this monitor: “Color Gamut DCI-P3 90%/ sRGB 100%” see attached image of website detail. Also see image of 27E1QA adjustment menu Color Temp: there is no sRGB. For photos taken with sRGB or Adobe RGB on the camera, the DCI-P3 shows lakes of reds and greens that are over vibrant and unnatural. ( These vibrant colours might be good for graphics and gaming: I am not a gamer.) Same applies to using the Standard or User setup as described above. Images of other display menus attached show no sRGB.For years I have been using two LG Flatron IPS225 (22″, 1920×1080, 60Hz) bought from Amazon uk in 2012 & 2013, one for £117.50 the other secondhand for £95. (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0060LCBRI) The LG results are much superior to the 27E1QA for colour rendering and photo use bur are lower resolution. I like the 27″ 2560×1440 because the two 22″ side by side requires a lot of turning of the head to view the extremes which leads to neck strain in the long term. Two LGs side by side are 99cm, 39″ from one extreme to the other, the 27E1Qa is 61cm, 24″ across. The 27″ with higher resolution seems the ideal for getting lots of text on the screen but still be readable without the additional stain of the with of two screens side by side.I am in the process of arranging to return this item. It appears that there is no sRGB 100% even though this is described on the Amazon and Koorui web sites. (See attached image.) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0BBMPF6PT The colour balance made watching videos painful and photographs pretty weird.I returned this buying a Dell U2722D 2560×1440 27″ instead: twice the price but absolutely superb for photography and other use. Good for price
Good for the price but has some annoying quirks such as you can’t put the monitor into standby mode. It is either on or off. Also whenever my screen naturally turns off (for example going idle after 10 mins), when i wake it back up the monitor seems to reset, taking longer to turn back on and bringing all processes open on my computer onto the same screen (I use 2 screens). Apart from this it works well

The monitor going black
I am using this monitor for 2 months, and a week after I started using it, the screen would just randomly go black for a few seconds and then comeback. That’s really annoying because in some video games its gives you a massive disadvantage. Also this monitor is not frameless at all. But overall the monitor is great for its vibrant colors and a G-Sync compatability. Really like it, but hate when it goes black for a few seconds!

Great Monitor
This was my first high refresh rate monitor and I must say I was genuinely surprised at how good it is, with the except of a bit of smoothing it looks great and 1080p my only criticism would be the monitor software and the button for navigation aren’t great and I wish they’d used an actual button as opposed to a clicky switch thing but it is a great monitor overall.

small misleading advertising
I watched a few YouTube videos before buying this monitor, to see if I liked it enough to buy it. One of the main things each YouTuber said about this monitor is, it requires no screws to assemble. Well, unless this is an older version of the monitor, it did require screws to assemble. I know this is a small thing to be picky about, but when literally every video I watched said same thing, for me to then find screws.(Besides this small thing, monitor is a steal for the price, is a great 2k 144hz monitor, there is a little bit of ghosting when moving your mouse quickly, but not too noticeable. you might need to turn down the brightness when first time using it, as its a really bright screen. was a great upgrade from my old monitor)

A problem that get bigger over time
I’ve had the monitor for 2 days and it started developing black line on the bottom of the screen. The lines got more visible over time and more started to develop. Koorui provided NO technical support after 3 E-mails and chats with Amazon customer service.However, the monitor itself is fantastic, really good UI and picture quality is great and over all a great gaming experience with it, if the lines are disregarded.Strongly recommend if the issue is specific to the monitor I got and not all the monitors of that model.

Very good quality for the price
This is the cheapest 240hz 1440p monitor i could find, i was a little sceptical to get it due the the reviews but its really good honestly i don’t see much ghosting the refresh rate is good the image quality is surprisingly good for how cheap it is, i tried the stand before i mounted it and it was quite bad but if you are going to mount it id defiantly buy it!Love the added crosshairs too!

Colours are accurate and HDR is bright enough, 430-435 nits when using the Microsoft calibration tool, gsync seems to work fine despite not being validated by Nvidia, at this price is very appealing considering 240 Hz monitors goes for higher than £400-500

Ok monitor. Doesn’t support 1440p @120hz on Xbox or PlayStation
The monitor seemed good for the price. Nice colours and sharp image. There was some minor ghosting but it was still an enjoyable experience. Don’t buy this monitor if you’re going to use it for console as it only supports 120hz refresh rate up to 1080p and not 1440. Downscaling the image from 1440 doesn’t look very nice either

Great budget option Gaming display
When i was looking for a new gaming monitor i didn’t want something that would unnecessarily cost a lot of money. I found this and had doubts, the biggest one was Gsync compatibility. But i decided to risk it because it had everything i needed like a 1440p resolution and 170 Hz and it had more like HDR.After about a month of using it it is solid, it might need a few tinkering and tweaking to get it to your comfort level but its a fantastic monitor and it does what it says. The HDR looks amazing but you will need to tweak it a little bit in windows and nvidia settings to get it look good. In terms of Freesync and Gsync it has it. You just need to turn on freesync premium in the monitor menu and nvidia control panel will immediately detect a gsync compatible monitor and u can turn it on, and it works.One thing i did notice on the monitor which is kinda cool and very efficient, was that if the brightness was just a bit too high and u didnt notice, the monitor would dim ever so slightly to not damage the display or your eyes, i later turned the brightness down and the diming stopped.In conclusion its a good option for the money that i payed for this monitor but if you still have doubts about it, i dont blame you. Koorui is a Chinese company that features its monitors in E-Sports events. Do as you please with that information but as for my experience, its a great monitor.

Excellent Monitor for the price, Picture quality is fantastic aswell as performance for gamers
First things first, its a VA panel which means that your obviously gonna get excellent picture quality while having a drop in performance, there is some ghosting, which means for gaming it might be noticeable, I use the monitor at 20% gaming life and a 80% study life, so therefore the ghosting does not have a problem for me, the monitor does have rich features like eye saver mode, or fps boost mode/ cinema making the view the best for any scenario. While personal preferences may vary, I found the bezel size to be reasonable. It strikes a balance between aesthetics and practicality, enhancing the overall visual appeal of the monitor,one thing i would watch out for is that there is audio in the monitor, but your gonna need an audio cable, AUX, for the sound, without that it wont play sound.Also the price for this monitor is crazy, its defo worth it.In conclusion, my new monitor has proven to be a valuable addition to my workspace, offering a blend of advanced features and impressive performance. Despite a couple of drawbacks, such as the need for an additional audio cable and the inherent ghosting with the VA panel, the overall experience has been positive. If you’re in the market for a feature-rich monitor with vibrant colours and versatile options, this model is definitely worth considering.

Nice colour and quiality for its price however
The monitar is very nice, with 144 hz and 27 inch, it was easy to set up aswell. it has nice colours and and balance, Problem is the Monior at random moments goes black for 2 or 3 seconds and it appears back again this happens maybe every 2 hours but is in long intervals and random moments. the cable is secure to the pc and its new so im unsure. One when the black screen occured while gaming the Monitor had lots of random colour pixles moving i had to restart the monitor and it never happend since, only onceApart from that it works perfectly fine do recommend for its price.

Too much backlight bleed with the one I received
I bought the Koorui 27e3q (@196 for gaming and media streaming, right out of the box it had quite a bit of backlight bleed on the top right and the bottom left, I know this is a common thing for IPS monitors but this seemed a little too excessive as I have used an IPS monitor laptop screen and small 16-inch display but haven’t struggled with such issues on those displays. On bright scenes, the issue can be ignored and at those times the display does look very good and sharp, but the majority of the time the glow is right on your face covering content (the ghost of Tushima screen-shot is a very good reference).Apart from that it runs 1440p@120fps well along with HDR (but I think HDR isn’t that great). Also, the stand the monitor comes with is one of the best things in the package.So all in all it might be a great display but for this particular panel I received I think I will return it as watching movies (which mostly have black bars at the top and bottom) is a big part of using the display. for me.

Koorui 27 inch 165hz
I love this monitor for the price it’s excellent quality but buyers do bare in mind that the monitor doesn’t emit sound yet you will need either output speakers or headphones. Other than that it’s a spectacular monitor very neat design and performs well for its price n potential.

Brilliant!
As a garden designer the screen has to be clear and crisp and full of colour! This screen is all of this and more! I would highly recommend this screen, fab for gaming too 😀 very impressed and delivered in a great box with a handle and with care from the driver 😀😀

Good but misleading
Overall the monitor is really good the colours and contrast are crisp, however don’t be mislead, the monitor is 144hz but only on 1080p more at 1440p your locked to 60hz.

The best for this price range (especially for ps5 and xbox)
Probably the best monitor you find for under 300 and even then it could compeate with some monitors in that price range allot of the bad reviews I’ve heard don’t even seem to be a problem all it’s great for the price I feel loek allot of the reviews on this are expecting to much like one them was complaining about it not being as good as a 4k monitor witch he said was more expensive you don’t even really need a 4k monitor you only really need is 1080p people are just being pickythis monitor is what it says it is and it great for the price

Almost great, one BIG problem
I purchased the GN05 240hz 1440p VA panel. 27 inches.The monitor was surprisingly good for its price in most categories. It was my first VA panel purchase and I was worried about the VA motion blur everyone mentions but I didn’t find it bad at all once I changed the pixel response times to fast or fastest. The viewing angles are OK and what you would expect from a VA panel. The default colour settings are also OK for the price, I could probably make it slightly better with adjusting the colours using the monitor settings but I can not be bothered.However there is one major problem for me. When I use the monitors adaptive sync feature and turn on G sync on my PC. I get lots of brightness flickering whilst gaming and it is incredibly distracting and ruins my gaming experience. I am in contact with the seller to ask for a replacement because I’m hoping it’s a fault with my monitor and not on a replacement.I would be giving this review 5 stars if it wasn’t for the big let down in the adaptive sync feature. If I get issued a replacement and the flickering is not existent on the new monitor, then I will definitely change my review to 5 stars

Great for PC and PS5
Works as a 2k monitor for my PC (5x 580 8GB graphics) and as for the ps5, it seems to be able to accept 1080p, 2K, and even 4k output. So presumably with the PC set to 4k output it is then downscaled to 2k.Arrived in perfect condition and the stand is quite good (sturdy, has turn swivel and tilt).Only downside is no speakers built in but that’s not really an issue.

Great
Ai use this for my ps5 and looks really good. Just a bit disappointed that it would let be play with 1440p 120 hz even tho it’s a 1440p 144hz monitor.It capped at 1440p 60hz or 1080p 120hz

You can give unique adjustments as high end monitors
Does the job more then what I expected and for that price it does give really good results and benefits. Don’t waste your money with the other products this is a decent one 👍🏽 I was a bit struggling to adjust to monitor angles for up and down but did manage to give a good angle without breaking it due to tight attachment. Also for people who is struggling to find for menu entrance key it’s at the back power button just move it left and right then you will see the menu. Overall as I said decent price and product 👏🏾

Ghosting is terrible
I bought this monitor for using with my PS5, at first the picture quality was quite good but when I started to test with some FPS games then I realised the ghosting was really bad. I did manage to resolve the issue by lowering the response rate to normal and increasing the brightness however a blurring effect on fast moving images remain. For example in fallout 4 when viewing the character in 3rd person view, as the camera rotated around it was a complete blur. I noticed this more in several FPS games. Decided to send this back.

Great for first monitor
I was looking for something not too expensive but big enough and sleek enough for a good monitor – it is exactly that. The picture is clear and responsive, it tilts so you’re not stuck looking at an awkward angle. For my first monitor i couldn’t recommend enough, the only thing is that the stand it comes with has quite a big base but other than that its awesome – also comes with a DP so you don’t need to buy one for it

Cheap and cheerful
Ordered two 27″ and only had them a day, but so far, so good. The main point I’d like to mention is that the Amazon product pictures tell a slightly tall tale: the screen images do not extent to the edges, as the product pictures on Amazon would have you believe. There is an 8mm gap from the top, left and right edges to the picture. This is the reason I awarded 4 stars and not 5. Of course the gap on the bottom edge is bigger still. Overall I’m happy with the monitors, but only time will tell as far as durability/reliability goes.

I’m not convinced
Having had a BenQ 24″ 1080p TN montor for around 8 years I decided it was time for a change and for the price this looked an excellent buy.This monitor does have some good reviews and I did some research prior to buying.First impressions were good and the monitor looked well built but after attaching the rear standoffs to attach a mounting bracket I discovered two of the 4 mounting holes were broken. Never the less the monitor did attach to the mount and I powered it up and booted into windows.Now despite the monitor being higher resolution than my old unit I was immediately struck by how blurred/washed out the image was. I changed various settings, tried different cables, updated drivers but I could not resolve this fully. I even changed the icon size within windows to 125%.The next thing I noticed was ‘ghosting’ which is something I’ve never noticed before. There are settings in the monitor menu which can combat this but I never felt this was totally overcome.The biggest issue for me was the brightness and contrast whilst gaming. Dark scenes just didn’t look right and I found this quite distracting.I used the monitor for a few days sticking with it as I hoped I would adjust and not noticed these issues after some some.I eventually decided to hook the old monitor back I stuck with the older model as the image quality better.I do believe this montor has it’s uses (for an office environment) and for the price you get a lot of spec.I am in the process or returning this item and I plan to spend a bit more (even take a hit back down to 1080p) and try a more premium display.It’s possible you may not notice the issues I came across so it’s probably worth a try if you are on a tight budget and you can always return it if you don’t get on with it.

Excellent value for money
Monitor arrived in perfect condition and had no problem setting up. Only note regarding setup is that freesync is disabled by default and it took me a while to work out that it had to be enabled in a submenu.In terms of picture quality- it far exceeds its price range. Backlight bleed is a lot less noticeable than some high end ips screens I’ve used in the past. I enabled the lowest pixel overdrive setting and have experienced no ghosting issues when running the monitor at 170hz. However the colour accuracy is a bit iffy and I cannot get it to perfectly match my secondary asus monitor- however I suppose that’s to be expected when using multiple monitors from different brands.I haven’t used the onboard speakers so I cannot really comment on their quality.All in all- this is a monitor that far exceeds it’s price range with only one real complaint: when the monitor is in standby mode- the led indicator flashes and is relatively quite bright. Because I keep my computer in my bedroom it means I have to fully power down the monitor at the end of the day or else I cannot sleep with that flashing light directly in my fov. However like I said- this can be mitigated by merely powering off the display and accepting the few extra seconds it will take to power it on the next day.

Not great
Works okay if youve only go one input, but when you turn of your pc, it doessnt switch to your other inputs, and doesnt have a power button to turn it on and make it switch.Poorly designed interface as source is not the first option and all options use a very finicky single swivel button which makes changing setting and input awkward.Besides the gripes, the image quality is good and it does the job. But due to the above issues, I wouldnt buy it again.
