    Great gift

    This is a gift for a good friend of mine who is turning 50. We went to Key West in November where roosters roam free and wake you up in the early morning (she is not a morning person! I cannot wait to give it to her!

    A Classy Rooster

    You may find this amusing. For some reason, virtually all the houses on my street of single-family homes have a decorative metal rooster displayed somewhere in the front yard. Because of Covid neighbors haven’t been doing much socializing, so I haven’t found out what the roosters signify. But I couldn’t help joining them. This particular rooster is magnificent!! The craftsmanship and painting are excellent and the price was very reasonable. I’m really pleased with this purchase.

    Looks really cute in my kitchen

    Really cute, looks like what you see in the picture. Alot smaller than I was hoping so I put it in my kitchen instead of outside. Comes in a few pieces but went together easily.

    Got this as a gift for someone and she loved it. The coloring is beautiful and goes great with the colors in the kitchen. It is a sturdy piece. You just have to attach the tail feathers once it arrives. Super easy!

    Nice quality yard decoration

    I was very impressed with the quality of this metal chicken. It is sturdy and well made. It is painted very nicely. The colors are bright yet realistic unlike other yard chickens that are painted blue and purple. It was packaged very well. We gave it to my husband for Father’s Day and he loved it. It is a great addition to our yard!

    Disappointment

    While the concept of this chicken is ideal for intended use it is such a disappointment. This was a surprise addition for my husband’s new enclosed chicken coop pending obtaining real chickens in the next few weeks. The draw-in picture on Amazon’s website appears inviting. I just received this one today and upon opening it my husband had a smile on his face….until we saw it had been crushed on the right side of the chicken, there is a hole in the back of the neck and the paint on the back of the neck sloppily went up into the base of the cone spreading into the black. I won’t return this as it is a hassle to repack this then drive it to UPS, get a receipt and ambulate back to my vehicle using my walker. A real inconvenience. The overall appearance of the chicken has a ‘crushed’ body effect. The feathers appear to need to be fuller, rather than smashed. So sorry I could not give this item a better review because it is so disappointing.

    Great gift for the garden

    Something to “crow” about

    We live in a community in Florida where herons, lighthouses, and other coastal statuary are the norm in outdoor decor. I wanted a colorful (yet tasteful) eye catcher for our lawn…and this rooster absolutely fits the bill. It is life size (substantial & sturdy he won’t fall over easily). The feathers and application are so well done, with colors so beautiful and bright, that he looks as if he could herald each new day with a “cock-a-doodle-doo”. He’s been a hit with our neighbor, too. . I ordered 3 roosters (of various colors) and will be adding a hen & chicks. If I could change one thing about these roosters, it would be their pose. All 3 stand the same way, however, it’s probably due to keeping them balanced. . I love them enough that it’s not a deal breaker. Tucked in and around the shrubs they are AWESOME. Pat B.
