Better than expected
These are so much better than I expected. I ordered the 8 foot stakes. All very uniform in size and straight. I came back to order more and earlier today they were still around $47.00 but didn’t have time to complete order and tonight they are gone unless I go to different offer which is about three times that amount. So put them in wish list and wait till they come back down. My shipping experience was wonderful and packaging was well protected. They even came on a rainy and snowy day and bamboo was still dry even though the box was wet. Hope original supplier gets more by spring.

BETTER THAN I EVEN EXPECTED
I honestly didn’t have high hopes for what I would receive, considering the price, but I was seriously blown away by how great these garden stakes are! They are perfect for making the frames for my tomato plants, staking peppers, and can easily be cut to smaller sizes if needed! The hollow centers makes it so you can insert a cut wire coat hanger into 2 pieces for extra support at the top, too! I will definitely be ordering these same ones the next time I need them. The value for the money is unbelievable!

Color variations
The stakes color ranges from the natural bamboo as in the picture online and relatively green. I am using them indoors for decoration but if pristine is your choice this would not be it. They are almost impossible to cut but sturdy.

2022 very inferior to 2021
I purchased this product in 2021 and again in 2022. I would give the 2021 product 5 stars for quality, easy to use and value for the money. I was using them to make garden tipis with rubber garden connectors with holes. The pieces were smooth and slopped easily through the holes, the color was clear with natural variance, and the diameter of the poles didn’t vary much in diameter. The 2022 product was extremely inferior! The 2022 poles weren’t smooth. They had small branches still attached or that were poorly removed leaving little stumps. This would have made it very difficult to slip the poles through the holes of the rubber garden tipi connectors. The color wasn’t clear, and the diameter of the poles varied a lot in diameter. There were many holes and splits and much surface splintering. A few pieces appeared to have mold or powdery mildewPhoto 1 shows 8 pieces numbered 1-8 starting from the top. 1-3 are from 2021. 4-8 are from 2022. #4, 6 and 7 show holes of varying sizes. #5 shows a spot where the top layer splintered off and appears to have mold or powdery mildew. #8 shows a splintered off top layer with no apparent mold.Photo 2 shows the ends of 8 pieces again numbered 1-8 from the top. 1-3 are 2021. The rest are 2022. This shows the large diameter variances of 2022 as compared to 2021, and additional flaws for 2022.Do not get this product.

Great for both Animals AND Plants
These arrived just in time! I overplanted with tomatoes (beefy, roma, and cherry) this year in the garden, and with the way they were still growing I splurged on the 6-foot stakes – and boy did we need them! Strong and sturdy, these fit the bill well. The thicknesses differ slightly within the bundles too, which is perfect for using on different plants/stages of growth too as plants need more or less support. They also provided excellent perches for the birds that flew in to enjoy the sunflowers I’d planted nearby – so from both the human and animal words, we give these bamboo stakes an A+ !!After using them for a season, they are also still very strong and have little if any signs of weakening in the bottom foot that I’d pushed into the ground, which means I will be able to get multiple years out of them, even though my soil isn’t the best draining – one of the best garden investments I have made in a long time for sure!

Build a climbing garden with just sticks, dirt,& seeds.
I wove a 6ft X 4’ tall climbing bean garden for my patio. That worked great! Next year I’ll add a second row, then across the top to make a 6x6x6x4 trellis I can put a chair under. The poles and seeds are just stuck in a line of 3 ten gallons buckets of dirt. Single poles are great because you can pick and choose whatever size &shape you want. Imagine this setup with climbing flowers.

Much narrower than expected
I bought the bamboo poles for gardening. I had hoped they would be larger around. They are pretty small and while I will try to use them, I am a little disappointed. They did arrive on time and in good shape. But I had thought when reading the description they would be sturdier… I will have to find someth8ngnelse to use in place of what I had intended them for

Cracked, not all but I paid for quality.
They were ok, but not for the price. Some were cracked and the size was mix and match. Add to that, I had to drive 20 minutes to the post office to pick them up. My mail carrier couldn’t fit them in her jeep. Should have just went to a box store and purchased. Never had a problem with UPS. If I have to sign for a package if I’m not outside USPS won’t stop either.

Big bang for the buck
These are 6′ long and very sturdy (THICK), I needed 3’ers, I took a fine tooth hack saw and made a bunch of 3’ers, I suggest that you cut on a growth ring to avoid splintering, where will you find 60 quality stakes like this for the money……..Nowhere…….one of my better buy’s…….

Unbelievable!
I bought these as a stake for some temporary fencing, and I must say when I first pulled them out of the box I thought to myself that these were not going to work. I can tell you I was WAY off. These are super strong for their size, and worked perfectly for what I needed them for. I used them to support a 5′ plastic temporary fence and they worked great. I was also impressed at the value of them (if I were to buy actual fence stakes I would have spent a lot more). I will definitely keep these in mind if I have another project like this!

Great plant support!
I bought these bamboo stakes at all different heights. They are pretty uniform in size, they come smooth and are as strong as you’d expect bamboo to be. I use them to support my tomatoes, cucumbers, pepper, beans .. everything. They look natural in the garden and the weather doesn’t seem to age them. I have so many but as my gardening skills increase I need longer and longer ones because my plants grow so tall.I use cloth growbags, and they work perfectly. I put them in the bag when the plant is small and the plant grows to meet them eventually. They are simple stakes, but when you don’t want to cage your plants, they do the job! I’ve also bought this companies heat mats and they are good too.

Nice sticks but not as good as before
These are decent bamboo sticks. I just got them and the price was about a dollar a stick. Even if a few end up being bad and unusable they overall aren’t bad for the price. Large overall diameter, and the wall of the sticks is thicker than many others I’ve seen making for a sturdier pole. The ones at local garden stores have gotten really flimsy lately, but these while perhaps not as good as they were some years ago, are still a decent thickness and sturdy enough to hold heavy vegetables and maintain their integrity for years.I’m not sure what is happening, but seems newer orders have smaller sticks and the description doesn’t match the product any longer. A common theme among bamboo poles for gardening it seems. I was already expecting this from the other reviews, with the really old reviews mention nice sticks that are really large diameter, whereas most recent ones mention much more flimsy sticks. The product description states the thickness will be 13-17mm diameter. I measured the thinnest and thickest sticks, and the range I received was 8-13mm, with most between 9-11mm or so. A big fail when practically none of them meet even the smallest advertised diameter, and only the largest barely meets the lowest end. If you were expecting anything close to the 17mm mentioned there is nothing here for you. They do seem to be quite thick in the wall of the bamboo structure, so while they may not be as thick overall, they still seem to be quite sturdy and may not be as bad as it seems. While most do meet the “smooth” description, a few had a white powdery substance with also many black bumps or scars. I am not fully sure what this is, but it seems like it could be mold, and an older bamboo pole I have around with similar looks has not held up well and deteriorated quite badly. Hopefully I can clean it up or treat it, but not sure why there are some nice and seemingly healthy ones and some that look a bit off.Only about 15 of the 25 were what I’d consider straight. These are natural products so there would be some unevenness, but usually these bamboo sticks are straighter than some of these. The other 10 have an overall curvature to them, or bend off towards the end. Usually won’t be any issue but if you are making a structure for your plants that require the bamboo to be relatively straight you should plan ahead and factor this into your purchase and order some extra. This will also help in getting enough with a good diameter to them.If I were to rate the product based purely on it meeting its description, it wouldn’t do so well with almost none of them in the 13-17mm diameter range advertised, nor was the smoothness present consistently. But compared to other bamboo sticks on the market, these are very reasonable and sturdy and should meet most needs. I’m taking off a star because a product should try to match whatever description is being advertised, and the quality control may need a bit of work.

Very Nice Heavy Duty
Solid build. Sturdy. Long and work great. Both ends seem about equal thickness, which is a good thing. Really hold plants upright with good long-lasting support. Would buy again and recommend it if it was better priced.

Superb bang for your buck!
I mean, they’re a bunch of bamboo stakes, right? What can you possibly say about a bunch of bamboo?Quite a lot, actually. This is easily a five-star purchase, especially for the price ($23 when I bought them). These 6-foot bamboo stakes were all of a consistent height when they arrived and were consistently straight. I bought two bundles, so 50 stakes in all, and had none that were crooked or bowed. The thickness varied from a bit reedy (about the thickness of a sharpie marker) to quite hefty (a little bigger around than the circumference of a nickel, close to a quarter at times). Most leaned towards the thicker end of that scale. VERY sturdy, not at all bendable unless you’re trying.Of the 50 stakes I got, the majority were clean and smooth. About 6-8 has tapered “spikes” of sort growing from the ribbed connections of each length of pole, running along the length of the pole, i.e. not sticking outward but running parallel to the pole. They are not intrusive or sharp, though one or two required a little care because if you accidentally slid your hand along the stake hard you’d jab yourself on these growths. Minor issue, doesn’t get in the way of their functionality, just something to keep in mind when you’re driving them into the ground. Wear gloves!I’ve used these to stake a variety of plants (tomatoes, sunflowers, pole beans), as well as to stake in chicken wire fences and to create a tripod trellis or two. They have proven easy to work with, quite sturdy, especially in my highly windy yard, and highly versatile. And the price? Miles better than most 6-foot stakes. One thing to keep in mind for people who have never used bamboo stakes before: If left in the ground for a couple of years, it CAN root and begin to grow. It’s rare, but I’ve seen it happen, so it’s a good idea to pull them out at the end of the season and store them over the winter.Bottom line: superb bang for your buck!

Amazing quality
All 6 foot or within an inch bigger and all very thick and sturdy. I’m very impressed with the quality of these sticks. At 1/6th the costs compared to the ones sold at my local greenhouse, I was sure they were going to be thin and weak but I’m so happy with my purchase and will be ordering much more.Update, we had very high wind storms for a couple weeks now and haven’t lost a tree or vegetable yet! These are the best we’ve ever ordered and we’ve ordered two sets so far. Going to get a jump on next year’s growing equipment and going to buy a couple sets to put away for next spring.

Strong and sturdy
These bamboo stakes are perfect for my cat’s container tomato plants. Very strong and sturdy. Some are a bit thicker than others — but they are all strong and sturdy and they get the job done, and the quality is consistent overall. My cat says “Buy these, you will be pleased.” Obey the kitty!

Very glad these are available for the home gardener
These are good weight for pole beans and climbing nasturtium. Our farm and garden supply was bought by another company that only wants to stock for farm – with nothing for the home gardener anymore. Not a problem for folks who don’t mind a 100+ mile trip to a big town. So very glad this seller made these available via UPS. Stocking up now for the next growing season while they’re available!

Happy
These are longer than I anticipated. I haven’t measured them, but I’m 5′ 7″ and they are well above my head. I haven’t taken all of them out of the package, but the ones I’ve used so far were smooth. I have no complaints. I have two foot-high raised beds, just built this year, so these are easy to push into the ground. Right now I’m using them for summer squash, broccoli, and tithonia. Yesterday I used two to build a trellis for delicata squash: cut two strips of green decorative roll fencing, fastened the bottom ends together to form one wider strip, wove the poles thru, and stuck them in the ground.

Extremely impressed with these bamboo stakes.
I purchased the 6ft length and am very pleased with my purchase and am going to be getting another set. I grow a lot of vegetables that need support and I was looking for something sturdy, relatively thick, AND nice looking to use in the garden. These fit the bill so far. I’m impressed with how thick they are especially compared to the bamboo stakes I bought from a big box store. I did notice a few had splinters on them as I took them out of the package, but that wasn’t a deal breaker for me. I think these will work well in my garden this year.

Not flimsy and hold well
I e used these to create a teepee for tomato plant support in 7 galloon grow buckets. They have held up all summer and not budged at all even with the weight of full grown and heavy tomato bearing plants. They’re also thick and not flimsy like the ones I’ve found in box stores.

Bamboo Plant Stakes
I ordered these for building trellises for my garden. They look more natural than metal ones, and I can configure them to fit my needs. I have a “teepee” style trellis for cucumbers and a traditional style trellis for beans. I also use them as stakes for tomato plants. My only con is that the stakes are varying widths — some a bit thin, and not all of them are straight. They’re a natural product, so definitely not perfect. I purchased these before back in 2017 and they lasted pretty well. Overall I’m happy with my purchase!

How come I didn’t know about these sooner?
I’ve been gardening veggies & flowers for over 30 years. I didn’t even realize there were stakes this tall, 6 ft, I could use. I’ve always used “tomato trees”, the metal circular cone thingys, or the metal folding fences for peas & beans, to hold up my tomato plants & large flower bushes, peonies, flox, bee balm, etc… Then I was searching for ties so I could try and contain my plants and found the Velcro, best stuff ever. Then it said “usually bought together” and it showed these bamboo poles. I thought this is crazy but it just might work. So I ordered the bamboo poles & Velcro tie rope(you cut to size) and it is the best thing I’ve ever bought for my garden in over 30 years. My tomatoes plants & flowers are so much healthier & happier and so am I. I’ve had them for 3 years now. Still going strong! Last year one of my cherry tomato plants grew to 11ft 9in. I had bamboo stakes in the ground, a trellis on the deck and then I had to attach more bamboo stakes to the trellis to tie my plant to. I’ll try and attach a pic if I can figure that part out. If you grow tall plants or need to hold something up get these two items!

Purchased to make atlatl darts
These 6′ bamboo stakes arrived in great shape. Mine were green in color and they all looked reasonably uniform and straight for a natural product. We wanted them about .4-.5″ in diamter and that’s what they appear to be more or less. Some looked like they tapered more on one end but that’s fine for my purpose. I purchased them to give to an archaeologist to make bamboo atlatl darts. We are members of an archaeology organization that hosts an annual archaeology fair. One of the activities is hunting a prehistoric hay-bale mammoth with the ancient atlatl and dart weapon system. Bamboo is not authentic for this area but it is commonly used for this purpose because perfect yucca stalks and other local materials are hard to come by. The archaeologist says if a stake isn’t 100% straight he can easily straighten it with heat and moisture. In any case he was highly pleased with these stakes overall.

Quality Not the Best
Would have given 5 star rating if poles would have been sturdier. A handful of them were great, a few of them broke and some were so thin and spindly that we can only hope that they support the pole beans we’ve planted. Quality was not as good as we had anticipated.

They work 🤗
The package arrived in two pieces, the small top carton was dislodged from the 5ft bottom carton in transit. But all 25 bamboo pieces are of good quality & will work to keep deer from eating the newly planted vegetation. Thank also for the ties to keep the netting (separate order) in its place.
