Runs way too big. I bought 18-24 months for my petite two and a half year old. Way too large!!! I need 12-18or possibly even 9months. So soft.

VERY CUTE!
I bought this for my 4 year old daughter to wear to a funeral and it’s so stinkin cute on her. She wore it with knee socks for that, during Halloween with an orange bow and black tights, and she’ll wear it again at Christmas with ivory tights and a red bow. When it’s too small to be a dress anymore, we plan to wear it as a tunic over leggings. Highly recommend!

A little big but not bad!
Super cute dress! A little large on my girls but still wearable. I was afraid it would be small and thry wouldn’t get through the winter in it but I’m not worried anymore. Quality is very good and such a cute classic look! I’m loving them!

Absolutely love the hope and Henry line. Definitely size down on this particular one. My daughter is 6 yrs old 46lbs and 46” tall. The 5 fits her perfectly with room to grow. In all the other hope and Henry dresses I get her a size 6. They are so soft and very well made. I wish they had more colors. I would buy more.

There was no bow on the dress as shown in the picture.
This dress was perfect and with a good quality material and it fit my daughter very well, but it came without the bow on it. I felt very disappointed.

DO NOT PUT IN THE DRYER
Bought the gray cable-knit version. It is so cute, and fits really well. However, the tag says to tumble dry low and if you do that it will shrink way too much. Dry flat for sure.

Cute and soft! Comfy for the fall and winter.(Black and white houndstooth)UPDATE: neckline ended up unraveling and detaching from dress over time.. it was my daughters favorite dress because it was so comfortable but I expected it to last longer.That said, just purchased the blue and burgundy plaid and it’s the same great feel, hoping for better luck on the edging. Arms seem longer in this version vs the old one.. which is fine, we just cuffed them over for now and it still looks cute. We always size up for H&H items for a more modest fit.

Beautiful quality for great price
What beautiful quality! Sleeves too long (but that’s expected in our short armed family!) Would definitely recommend. I haven’t washed it yet but I would presume to treat any stain and then wash on a short cold wash and stretch and hang immediately. Great for a more formal look.

This is so so so darling and classic!!! The bow though is just darling. I absolutely love this dress in every way. The fabric is soft and it is fantastic quality. This company is trying to change the industry and I LOVE what they are doing and how they are doing it. I REALLY look forward to seeing more of their items. SO classy and timeless. I will be buying more (this is my third item) and I will be using it for pictures- it’s that cute. I totally reccommend!

Fantastic quality for the price
Soft, organic, nice length, and hasn’t shrunk with normal washing and drying in the dryer. This is better quality than Janie and Jack and certainly more affordable.

Good quality dress
The dress is beautiful and of high quality, my daughter loved it, I ordered a size up. Last time I ordered her exact size and only wore the dress for a couple of months, toddlers grow up too fast and I’m hoping she can wear this dress next year.FYI: Do Not use warm or hot water on this type of fabric. Also don’t use your dryer let the dress dry at room temperature.

What a beautiful dress! It is very Classy, elegant, Nice and soft material and my daughter loves it so much! She is 2years and 2 months old and I bought a 3T, fits well with some space to grow in it. Lenght is a bit below the knees and she wore it with black thights and burgundy shoes and bow. Received compliments on this!

I personally find the bow to be too big and looked awkward so for that reason I sent it back. It also has some pulling around the button stitch so I could see my daughter easily tugging it and creating a hole. But overall quality and fit was good.

the dress is beautiful and great quality- a little buggy but I think thats how is suppose to fit. My daughter is 2 but she is 38lb and 38 inch she wears size 3 and sometimes 4. This fit her perfectly and have a room to grow in it.

Very cute but very big
My daughter is an average sized 9 year old. I read some reviews that people said the dress shrunk in the wash and was now too small so I decided to order the size 10 with the intention of shrinking it in the dryer to fit. I am 5’8” and 6 months pregnant and it fit me. I tried shrinking it but it’s still way too big. I’ll hang on to it for next year for her because it is still very cute. Hopefully she’ll grow into it. I’ve ordered a different dress from them now in a size 8. Hopefully it will fit. Very cute stuff

So elegant, beautiful dress, runs large
I love this dress, it looks so classy on my daughter (8) but it seems to run much larger than the other two size 7 Hope and Henry dresses she owns. The neckline is very wide and she will need to wear something underneath; a turtleneck perhaps, because it exposes way too much skin. The body of the dress is loose, which is fine, but if you’re looking for a slim fit, size down. My daughter may have been okay with a size 6, but I’m not sure it would have been long enough.If the neckline were smaller, I would have given this 5*, but it seems disproportionately wide for the garment. Otherwise it’s a gorgeous piece.

It’s Just the Cutest
This dress kills me. It is so freaking cute! I bought this for my two year old, and she loves wearing it. It’s very soft and warm for her, and it is stinking good quality. I honestly thought for sure that there was no way I could get this good of quality at such a value, so I checked it for any kind of flaw in the material, how it was sewn, you name it, but I didn’t find anything wrong with it. I love this brand and love that I can find sweaters and sweater dresses for my child at reasonable prices. So very happy with this purchase and would for sure recommend it to others!

This dress is so beautiful. It was perfect for our fall family photos. My 4 year old daughter typically wears size 4-5 and the size 4 fit perfectly. The quality of the dress is excellent and I would definitely purchase the brand again.

Beware it’s very thick!! The quality is great and it looks good. Don’t really need to iron much just on low heat. Prefect for Thanksgiving and Christmas parties if you want a more neutral look.

We paired this dress with cream tights and chestnut Uggs. Our daughter looked adorable and ready for a turkey feast. Well made dress and washed well. She had no complaints while wearing this dress. No itchies or skin irritation and she has pretty sensitive skin (eczema). Would recommend.

Well made, nice quality, a little WIDE
It is a well made little dress. My daughter says it feels soft (as opposed to “itchy dresses”). This is definitely not a fitted dress, my daughter will have to wear a belt with how wide this is cut. The length is nice, just about at mid knee cap. Very pretty dress overall.

This item is very well made! My only complaint is that the color isn’t what I expected. I had my screen brightness all the way up with no blue light filter when viewing online. I was hoping to layer this with my daughter’s red uniform shirt from the children’s place and was looking for a more vivid red. The color is more berry, which looks lovely but doesn’t match her school polo underneath.
