Such a cool set of lights
I’m still trying to get these installed in a small portable kitchen that I built, but I’m so excited to have them because they dramatically cut down on the required electricity, and put plenty of light in the cupboards and on the counter top. I was going to have to use full size puck lights and these really take that requirement away. The only reason I’m not done installing them is that I’ve got to have a little extra depth to the spots where these will be recessed, which changes the plans a little bit.They were easy to get going, and with a generic voltage converter, were up and running quickly.

Light up with mini down lighters
Perfect downlighters for a corner glass display case my son bought for his models. He likes to make manga plastic kit models and realised that they are perfect dust catchers and hard to use a duster on. A display case was the perfect solution with these lights mounted on top. We had to buy a fifteen-millimetre circular hole cutter for the nine lights and I asked an electrician friend for some advice on wiring them up. The box includes the lights, mounting clips, transformer and two connectors.Though the Amazon page says easy to install drilling holes and wiring needs a bit of DIY care. In the display case, with its glass shelves, they look perfect but the amount of light they give out works best on nearby objects, I don’t think they provide enough light for a wider area, say, a lounge or kitchen.

Terrific backlighting!
I used these little, but powerful lights to illuminate my glass mushrooms on a larger art project. They were perfect…easy to install and super bright 🌞

Small profile with a descent cool white illumination
The small profile allows you to install these almost anywhere including outdoors. Embed them in the steps on your deck, use them in a cabinet, under-counter lighting, highlight a small sign, workbench lighting, etc.- Aluminum shell with an embedded silicone set LED chipset at 120 degrees light spread (flood)- Requires a half-inch hole and then the included clips keep it in place- 12v Waterproof transformer included.- Simply link the lights parallel to make a run of lights (includes 9 lights). Each light has about 18″ of wire.- Illumination is cool and not super bright. Compounding lights would make for greater illumination if desired.- Available in 30-degree spotlights as well

Great lights. Needs extra wire to connect neatly though.
A nice set of recessed LED lights that really look very stylish.You get the 9 lights, each with 500mm unterminated leads, plus a mains to 12V converter. There are a couple of quick connectors for the mains supply, although these should be used in an area you don’t normally touch, for safety.The 500mm flying lead means the lights can be positioned far away from each other, but you’ll still need to connect them to a common 12V pair of leads along the route, as they run in parallel. There aren’t any connectors for this, although more of the quick connectors shown, or simple screw terminal blocks would be perfect, one set for each light.Not cheap, but a really good stylish finish.

Very small, bright lights
I had originally picked these lights up to put in the ceiling of my gazebo, but I think I underestimated how small they were. Luckily, I needed lights for the cabinets in my wife’s dressing room shelves, so these were perfect. They take a bit of wiring and aren’t plug n play, but being small and 12 volt lessened the wiring required to hook them up. I think I ended up using bell wire to power them since it was small and easy to run/conceal.For closet lighting, they are more than bright enough. While I didn’t get them for this application, I’m glad that I did have them.

Small and Discrete
I build custom and unique light fixtures, and these little can lights are great. Small and discreet so they don’t take away from the light fixture I installed them in. I like warm light and if these cans are in a 3000k, I am all in.Simple to install, simple to wire, and the LED driver is small enough that it is easily hidden.

Awesome little spots
Provides nice pinpoint light for small spaces, great to highlight your collectables, glassware, trophy’s, models, etc. Easy to install and uses very little energy. I will be looking to order another set to add on later once I finish my special project display case. Very pleased with quality and ease of installing.

Molto buoni come faretti spot ma come segnapassi abbagliano, devo procurare un dimmer
Ottima fattura in alluminio, il foro di soli 15mm facilita il montaggio.Il solo problema e’ che li ho usati per evidenziare degli scalini. Li ho messi a coppie sotto ciascuna pedata puntati verso chi deve salire ma accecano, sono troppo luminosi per questa funzione.Ora provero’ a procurare un dimmer 12v da strisce per vedere se rimedio. In alternativa dovro trovare il modo di applicare un filtro che attenui la luminosita’, ma e’ una soluzione accrocchiata…. potrei anche provare ad alimentarli a tensione inferiore, ma conto che il dimmer risolva.Comunque non usateli come segnapassi, non ripetete il mio errore, questi illuminano veramente.EDIT: successivamente ho procurato un dimmer switch PWM economico. Ora la luminosita’ va benissimo anche come segnapassi.Anzi, consiglio l’accoppiata perche’ poter regolare la luminosita’ dei faretti ne aumenta molto il valore. Se poi procurate un dimmer con telecomando potete estendere ancora di piu’ le funzionalita’ dell’impianto. I faretti possono essere usati anche con batterie/regolatori di carica solari o altri trasformatori, e il prezzo unitario e’ molto conveniente soprattutto in rapporto alla qualita’.

Li ho acquistati più volte in quanto hanno una scarsa durata, d’altra parte ormai sono costretto ad usare questo prodotto in quanto è il faretto più piccolo in commercio e per istallare altro tipo dovrei indtandire il foro. Comunque sarebbe un ottimo prodotto de durasse come tutte le lampade a led.

Good quality, look good, perform well
These mini led spotlights are of good quality and have a multitude of uses. Display cabinet, kitchen kick board accent lights for example.I have used these as accent lights along my garden path, I mounted them in a length of decking board, simply drill a 15mm hole, then screwed it to the fence, they look great!The lights are suitable for exterior use but the transformer isn’t, so it must be installed inside the property or within a weatherproof box (which I have done).The width of the beam can be adjusted by moving the lens.At £24.99 at the time of my review they aren’t cheap, a little overpriced in my particular application as decking lights are available at a lower cost.They do provide a nice accent light though.

Compact and bright

15mm hole?
I purchased this to put into a shelving unit which has 3 boxes and will get 2 lights per box. I got the 3000K color. The little clips that snap onto the light make it so it won’t fit into a 15mm hole. I was using a aluminum tube with and OD of 20mm and and ID of 15mm and no matter what it won’t go into the hole all the way. I measured the opening with calipers and it was 15mm. I’m sure this would go into a 15mm hole in drywall, but not something totally rigid like aluminum.In order to get around this I purchased some #41 O Rings and that solved the issue. It made the light fit snugly into the tubing and I think they will be stable.I like the fact that these lights generate almost no heat. I was a bit worried that it might transmit enough heat through the aluminum it might affect the glue. I have no worries about that now.The lights aren’t really bright, which for me is good. A nice warm glow to light up the box.The power pak is small enough you can put it anywhere. The look of the light is pleasing and with the 20mm tube it looks like they were designed for each other. I still need to “brush” the tubing to make it look more pleasing. As long as they last I’ll be pretty happy.

Small, simple to fit and good value
These are simple to fit as long as you understand basic wiring and have a 15mm drill to make the hole! . In addition you should pay attention to the 12v voltage requirements, although a suitable mains transformer is provided in the box. Being low voltage and waterproof they are suitable for bathrooms and outdoors, although in such scenarios the transformer should be housed in a waterproof box.

Small yet bright for the size
I recessed these into an overhang in a large cabinet. Nearly impossible to see them and adds just enough light for a small area. The lights are approximately the size of a dime in width and require a 1″ recess. Easy to hook up with the Wago style connectors (simple clip style). Each light has about 18″ of wire connected to it so there’s a good amount of flexibility in placement. Used 3 to highlight the cabinets’ exterior shelf and 3 on each interior shelf. Just enough light to serve as an accent without making them so bright they become the focal point. Don’t expect 1 or 2 to be used as task lighting but they are perfect as accent lighting.

Rather disappointing
First the wire spring that hold the lamp in place actually pushes the lamp into an angle so it can’t sit flush. I tried a variety of hole sizes and depths.I thought they looked dimmer than the ones they were replacing. They all measured at 0.7W , not the 1W advertised.
