Expensive but good product (only need a small amount to use)
Although this is an expensive product, the amount required for each use if much smaller than other products I have used. At the rate I am using this, I expect it will last 2-3 times longer than similar sized products. There is no particular smell in my opinion.I have sensitive skin and scalp which led me to change to this product. Thus far after months of use, my scalp and skin have not had any reaction to this product. I would buy again

I was worried this wouldn’t live up to the expectation, since everyone rants and raves about it. But I can vouch, it’s great! It isn’t oily, doesn’t stick to your skin and lasts forever. My only criticism is to not expect it to hold when it’s hot outside. It seems to melt in hot conditions. Overall, very good!

Holds very well
I can’t even begin to count the number of products i’ve used over the years. I have straight course hair (i’m Korean) and very few products hold well or for long. I was using Shisheido Uno Blue for a long time, but for some reason they discontinued and can’t be bought anymore. My haridresser told me that i should use that anyway as it was not great for my hair. I have purchased about 10 different products over the last year with none i am really satisfied with. This product holds extremely well and the entire day. Matt finish and natural look is really important to me. This covers that for sure. All natural ingredients, so that makes me feel better. Only problem i find is that it is very hard and i need to heat with hair dryer to soften enough to get a small amount on my finger.Don’t need much as all. Holds as good as my Uno from past and does not have much of scent if any. This is now my go to. I hope they don’t discontinue. I usually don’t leave any comments because nothing makes me compelled to do so….. until this one. I’m so particular about this and feel it necessary to share as i’m sure there are others in my shoes with difficult to style hair.

If you’re going from quicksand to claymation and expecting something similar with more hold, don’t. This product is nowhere near as malleable but does have that dry strong hold they promise, it’s a good product just takes away from my volume so not for me.

When a product is that good, you will constantly buy it after running out. I have bought claymation 10 times so far. It adds a nice matte texture to your hair and you can style it to your liking without your hair looking wet or greasy. I love this product and will buy again when I run out. The product does not have a scent to it either so you will not smell any worse or any better.

Best Hair Product Ever – Just Buy It
I’ve tried probably 5-6 other brands of hair product over the years, including Redken and American Crew products. This is, by FAR, the best I’ve ever used.I have fairly short, very thick hair. I get haircuts often and right after a cut it’s thinned out, but by the time Im ready for my next cut, it’s thick again. So I almost have two different textures to contend with, and this stuff always works.I can use it for a more clean lined comb over. I can use it for a messier up and to the side look. There’s no type of styling or texture of hair that I can imagine that this won’t improve.It lasts all day and though many claim this, it’s one of the only products I’ve used that does really allow re-styling throughout the day. I can wear a hat for a workout and then run a damp hand through my hair after and it’s right back to styled.And though it lasts a long time, it never flakes and never feels gummy/heavy.if you are considering it, buy itIf you find other products lacking, buy thisIt’s the only product on Amazon I immediately subscribed to.

I don’t have to use a lot of this product on my hair if you apply it on damped hair i can style it the way i want it before my hair dries, and it would last for hours , this small container will last awhile also its not greasy or have that weird smell after application almost odorless gives me the versatility of styling even after it dries, but i have thick hair so its a plus.

Definitely worth trying
I’ve been in search for a better hair product and think I finally found the winner. I have thick short hair that I style semi messy. Hair power just made my hair look poofy and felt rough and did not wash out easily at all. Other products either didn’t have enough hold or had too much shine. This product is easy to work with and gives the right finish – mostly matte finish , good hold and still workable all day long . If you’re on the fence definitely give it a try. Also a little goes a long way … you don’t need to use much at a time.

Good for natural, matte look
I’ve been purchasing this Hans de Fuko Claymation for years now. I have absolutely no complaints about this product. I use this and finish with a strong hold hair spray. It gives a bit of shine but still looks like there is hardly any product in my hair at all. I get compliments all the time and people asking what I use.The texture of the paste is not sticky or gooey like gel or pomade. It is like a clay and washes off pretty easy with warm water. Good hold even without using hairspray. No dandruff residue when your hair gets messed up later in the day. I used to have that issue but it turns out it was the hairspray I was using. When I switched to the current one I use now (Nexxus, Strong Hold) the white residue stopped, even if I slept with it in my hair.Overall, this is a 10/10 quality product. You typically wont find this in-stores. Only place I’ve seen this is Nordstrom. A little bit goes a long way, so this purchase definitely is a great value.

Simply put; best hair product I’ve ever used.
Amazing malleability, doesn’t tug hairs when applying (just make sure you throughly warm it up in your hands first). No particular strong scent. Tremendous hold. Matte but not overly dry finish. Washes out easily. Don’t need much. I have fairly thick hair but thinning in places and receding also, and been looking for a product that has great hold without greasy appearance. The best.

Unscented, matte, strong hold perfection
This is it. This is the hair product line I’ve been looking for after years of searching. I have East Asian hair, and I’ve found that Claymation in particular works well for my hair type. I keep my hair at a moderate length and wear it upwards in the front; the clay provides enough strength for me to style it after blow drying. The hold is pretty strong, but it isn’t quite enough to take strong winds, so I personally like to finish off with hairspray for an all-day hold. I also love that it’s unscented — I can wear it with my fragrance of choice when I want to be intentional about how I smell. I’m sold, and I’ll be recommending Hanz de Fuko to any friends who are willing to listen.

Surprisingly oily but decent medium hold, not high hold at all.
Too expensive vs the competition. TGI Bed Head is far better value and hold.Not matte even though it claims to be. You do need less to get the style and hold, but in no way is it high hold. Medium at best. Surprisingly oily residue too once left in a few hours, and feels a bit greasy when you apply it. You need barely a jelly bean amount.It’s a stiff clay and quite grainy when you scoop some out, but disolves fast in to your hands.Not recommended at all if you have thin hair. Weighs it down too much even with a small amount, too heavy and oily to be honest.

This product is easy to apply and provides a strong hold that doesn’t look stiff or rigid. After it sets my hair looks like product free, as if it naturally sets the way I styled it. Matte finish provides the no-shine look I was going for and it smells good. Pretty much found my go to hair product.

Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und Effekt ist super, auch wenn man’s nicht glaubt.Man braucht nur eine kleine Fingerkuppe.Ich habe sehr dünnes, aber langes Haar bei ähnlichen Haarwuchs sage ich nur eins weniger ist mehr!Der Preis ist saftig, aber es macht mich euer Haar kaputt! Nur natürliche Inhaltsstoffe! Ich habe sehr lange Beach Boy von gotto be benutzt. Defekt es auch sehr gut, aber musste feststellen Haar Ausfall, bei dünnen harr. Nach einer Google Suche der Inhaltsstoffe kein Wunder.

Great product
I’ve tried lots of different products and they’re great but the style I use now needs something not too greasy like pomade.I had looked at this product but was a bit expensive but boy was it worth it, It doesn’t stick to your hands when washing them after and you can wet your hair a bit next day and it combs back in place.I’ve found just the product for me now and will keep using it.

Possibly the best hair product out there!
I tried and experimented with all kinds of hair products. Nothing comes close to this. Good hold better and easier to apply than most clays. And you can run your fingers through your hair to re-adjust, unlike gel or pomade. No scent is a plus, so it doesn’t clash with any colognes or other hair product you want to use on top of this. All you need is a small ball the size of a pea and rub it between your hands. If you use too much it may be too sticky or clumpy. The jar will last you a long time so its well worth the $25.

Just only need a tiny amount to keep the hold. It give a natural look and don’t look greasy or shiny. I would give it an 5 stars, but cost $25 for a 2oz which is somewhat expensive hair clay.

It works really well. my husband’s hair looks amazing. No scent so it’s pretty neutral. However he has pretty thin hair so putting the product in can be a little painful. I told him to dilute it with water and I think that worked for him. It does look a little wet after it’s set it but I like it(;

So there’s a catch. Good hold but cement-like.
This is probably the hardest clay I’ve used to shape my hair. The hold is good for a day and then it fades. Plus it leaves a dry texture behind. So it doesn’t just go away. It’s also kind of pricy. That being said, I’ll likely buy it again. Maybe. There’s probably easier to mold, cheaper stuff you can buy. The jar is fancy. Maybe I’m fancy now.

In the search to find the right product for my hair over the last year I’ve purchased 12 different hair products. Many from Amazon, some from retailers/barbers. So far this is my favorite. BUT! What works for me, might not work for you. So I’ll list some pros and hair style. See if it fits you too. The pic included with my review was taken at 8pm after 8 hours in my hair, and having worn my motorcycle helmet 3x that day, without me reapplying any. Bought this because of the YouTuber “BluMaan”, seemed to be in one or two of his videos as his more favourite products.Pros:It is superior to supermarket waxes for sure.Comparing to DaWax, It definitely had less tug when you run a comb/fingers through your hair after you apply it.It probably has between 50-75% of the firm hold you would expect from DaWax.The hold would last working hours of a day.The finish is matte.Cons:After rubbing it rigorously into the palm of my hands, and, applying to the back & middle of my hair first, on some occasions I did notice small amounts of residue on the top of my hair, could sometimes be fixed by rubbing with hand though would result in unpleasant tugging from fingers or comb when recorrecting.Could sometimes still have a bit of tug if you were applying the product back to front, or, you needed to correct something. Though definitely no way near as bad doing this with DaWax.While a working day’s worth is way ahead of most hair products like this, may not quite last playing or going to a gig after work, it wont necessarily look bad, though certainly not as perfect as minute 0.Though this is one of the best I’ve used, I would probably try the slightly firmer hold product Hanz makes next, but, for now gone back to Da Wax. Sometimes you just need that little bit more hold as sometimes days can be longer than you think they’ll be & out of your control.

A masterclass in hair product
Let me start off by giving some background. I have extremely thick and straight hair and have been using Axe’s matte clay, and Big Sexy Hair’s hairspray for doing my hair. I have a modern slick back hairstyle that I go for, and with my current products my hair feels absolutely disgusting after using Axe’s clay and the hairspray. The clay from Axe makes my hair feel like there’s a ton of product in it and I have to use quite a bit in order to get the look I want. Furthermore, the hairspray makes my hair extremely shiny and sticky. The products get the job done, but I end up having to wash my hair twice in order to get everything out.Moving on to this product. I coupled Hanz de Fuko’s claymation with their Lock hairspray. I followed my same routine and after blow drying my hair I applies a dime size amount of this to my hair. Instantly it was able to form my hair how I wanted. I ended up using about a quarter size amount but probably half of what I’d use if I used Axe’s product. I followed it up with their hairspray and was my hair was set. I was a bit skeptical if my hair would hold all day or not. I ended going to a wedding and it was raining. My hair was able to withstand the rain, and stayed in it’s place for over 8 hours without having to touch it once. Overall, I was GREATLY impressed with these products.The best part is that the next day when I woke up, my hair was nice and soft again after putting hands through it a couple times. With Big Sexy Hair, my hair ends up getting super white after putting my hands through it and the hairspray is extremely visible. With Hanz De Fuko hairspray there was only some slight product visible if I looked extremely close.Honestly, I am super impressed with this company and their products. I will NEVER and I repeat NEVER buy a cheap drugstore hair product again. No more dove, Axe, American Crew products for me, and I’ve tried them ALL. It’s a world of difference and honestly you do get what you pay for.

Love the hold but not pliable at all
Works great for my short fine hair. My hair needs to be damp, dry hair can be tricky because my hands will just get stuck in my hair. Difficult to scoop out and hard to emulsify in palms. But I feel it’s worth the effort so far because the hold is great. My hair is still in the exact same style after 3 hours and I really like that! Most products my hair falls flat but not Claymation. No scent to speak of which is fine. I would recommend to anyone that has hair like mine. Not sure how it would go for people with thicker hair.

Great all day hold with Matt finish
This is a really good product to give an ‘all day’ hold with a very Matt finish. My hair is currently about inch and a half long and I can apply this in the morning and its still the same when I go to bed. Hair doesn’t look greasy at all and gives quite a fixed look, I wouldn’t say its re-workable though it looks soft and natural which I like.During the hotter weather, my hair was longer (2 and a half inches maybe) and I did find by the end of the day it was struggling to maintain shape but I don’t think this product is intended for that length so that was on me!Ok, so is it worth the money? —- Maybe…. I do really like the hold and Matt finish. Its quite dense and is the type you have to scrape out of the tub, you only need a really small amount and I always apply to damp hair and finish with hairdryer….good to go! I know some people are complaining about the size of the tub…but I’d say its comparable to other brands..and really…how much are you putting on!?Its got no scent to it which is a shame…its completely neutral ( I even checked with the other half in case it was me!!….it wasn’t).I’ve used various products for different reasons and styles though for quite some time I tend to buy similar types of products, J.Crew, D:Fi Dstruct, Aveda. Along with some of the cheaper brads VO5 etc… I would say the Hold of this one is definitely at the top, however is it 15quid better than a VO5? In fairness to the VO5 hair fibre, I can get through most of the work day with a similar appearance….might not make it quite into the night. Out of the ones listed…they all smell way better, Aveda probably my favourite for a subtle fresh smell and nice light hold (though I would not expect the same hold all day), my hair always feels nice and soft and smells great with this…soo in this case i’m happy with the 20quid price tag.So I guess I depends what you what out of it. This is a good utility product that will see you through the day, shame it doesn’t have a nice fragrance…but you can’t have everything I suppose.Would I buy it again? …. I’m not sure I would. Its a little on the hard side when applying and the lack of fragrance are the cons. If I needed the strong hold and clean look from morning till night…everyday.. then maybe.Definitely a good product and does what it needs to, it’ll come down to personal preference.

Nach wie vor eines der besten Clays
Nach langem hin und her und unzähligen getesteten Produkten habe ich endlich ein Clay gefunden, welches seinen Halt auch bei meinen recht dichten und sehr schwer zu bändigen Haaren den ganzen Tag über behalten konnte.Besonders gut gefällt mir das Finish, welches wie vom Hersteller angegeben Matt ist, das allerdings ohne die Haare aussehen zu lassen als wären diese ausgetrocknet, sprich die Haare sehen nach der Anwendung unglaublich gesund aus. Wie es sich für ein Clay gehört ist die Textur der Haare nach der Anwendung legendär.Natürlich ist das Produkt mit mehr als 20 Euro für gerade mal gut 50 Gramm Clay kein billiges Produkt, in meinen Augen ist es angesichts der enormen Qualität jeden Cent wert.Tipp: Ich verwende außerdem das Blumaan original Styling Meraki als pre Styler, dadurch wirkt das Finish noch einmal einen Ticken natürlicher und erhöht das Volumen der Haare erheblich (ja, der Unterschied ist gewaltig!)Kaufen.

Just right
Have to say, this is pretty good stuff and I’ve tried a lot of premium products recently. Many give good hold but go rock hard/crispy and look/feel unnatural, while others look natural initially but lack sufficient hold/are too soft and lose shape so you’re often having to rework it if you can. This seems to have the right balance of hold and softness/natural look for me. I guess it depends on your hair type (reasonably thick) and how much you use (only a little needed for me) but it seems to work.

Strong hold
This clay is a little expensive but is completely worth it. I’ve used subpar products for so long that had little to no hold. This clay on the other hand works extremely well; I’ve never been more comfortable with my hair before using this. And to touch on the expensive point, with the other clays I’ve used for my hair, I’ve found that I used so much that the cost completely offsets. Because you don’t have to use so much of this product, you don’t have to buy that much, and, at the same time, styling in the morning is so much quicker. This product has my strong endorsement. If you’re on the fence about it because you’re afraid of trying a new product, then please consider this one and maybe you won’t have to try another.

Also ich weiß nicht wie manche Leute ihre Haare stylen, aber wenn man sich nen ganzen Haufen in die Haare klatscht, dann wird das auch nix.Meiner Meinung nach reicht eine Fingerspitze voll und diese muss mit den Händen verrieben werden. Dann gleichmäßig im Haar verteilen und anschließend kann man sehr wohl noch mit einem Kamm arbeiten wenn man das möchte. Bei täglicher Benutzung hat mir die Dose knapp 10 Monate gereicht! Und für diesen Zeitraum finde ich den Preis von 30€ sehr fair.Ich habe im Laufe des Zeit mehrere Frisuren ausprobiert und auch immer verschiedene Haarlängen gehabt. Es klappt alles. Für kurzes Haar reicht dieses Produkt vollkommen aus.Für den nötigen Halt bei längerem Haar sollte man aber noch ein Haarspray benutzen.Ich finde das Produkt toll, da es die Haare nicht verklebt und sie werden nicht fettig oder schuppig wie man es von manchen Haargel’s kennt.Wenn man kein Haarspray benutzt kann man selbst nach mehreren Stunden das styling nochmals ändern. Das Haarwachs lässt die Haare geschmeidig und somit kann man immer wieder die Frisur ändern.Preis und Leistung top.

Teure aber gute Paste
Preis-Leistung:für mich als Laie 4/5, da nur unschädliche Inhaltsstoffe versprochen werden und die Paste wirklich wirklich lange hält beim richtigen GebrauchGeruch:4/5 da sie sehr neutral “riecht” und damit nicht auffällt. Eine kleine dezente Duftnote wären dann die 5/5 aber nicht nötig.Stil:Angenehmer Stil, relativ schlicht gehalten, macht einen hochwertigen Eindruck. 5 Punkte gäbe es von mir persönlich, wenn der Stil einen Charakter tragen würde, wie bestimme Muster, Materialwahl oder Farben.Kaufte die Pasten von Hanz de Fuko bereits zum 5. Mal über Jahre hinweg

I dig it
The smell isn’t great at all but it’s not too strong.It is definitely more of a dry wax that you have to dig out, rub between your palms to heat up, then it is clear and goes into your hair very smooth and softly. It does not tug in your hair like a typical wax. I actually kind of like the tugging but this product doesn’t do that but it still does a great job of laying the hair in place and keeping it messy looking. It is pricey but I feel everything is going up in price.I recommend this product if you want a messy looking hair style with a decent hold. I do feel it has some shine to it, though. I’d prefer no shine at all.

I’m very much satisfied with the performance of the hands de fuko claymation .it basically does what it states in the jar.the only downside is that it smell alot like andle wax which is a turnoff for me.other than that it holds up its reputation quite well.

Not the best value, but it really is one of the best hair products.
I was very into the YouTube men’s hair scene back in 2015-16, watching creators like Blumaan and Luca Fersko who always used this product. So after 5 years or so and feeling nostalgic, I purchased Claymation.It certainly has a high hold. I style my hair as kind of a messy wavy fringe, and my natural hair is only slightly wavy but this product helps make my hair hold in a wavier style for around 4 hours but will usually flatten down a little by the end of the day. The product works great for achieving waves and texture by scrunching.The matte finish of the product is really nice but can make your hair appear greasy, ironically, if you apply too much. It sometimes is hard finding the right amount to apply but a little bigger than a pea size is normally good for me with around 4 inches hair on top.Applying the product is straightforward and goes in fairly easy, just don’t be too rough when you apply and make sure to coat every inch of the hair.So yeah, that’s all. I would say the product is a little overpriced but hey, it’s certainly one of the best products out there. I’ll probably be buying Gatsby or Tigi Bedhead in the long run, but this was a fun experience.
