GS/Rottie Approved!
Important details: we got the 4XL and it fits our German Shepherd/Rottweiler long boy like a glove!Our dog isn’t picky and never seems to mind clothing but he does seem particularly comfy in this fleece vest as well, and it really does stretch! Regardless, it fits perfectly all the way to his tail. We didn’t have a tape measure and haven’t purchased anything for him ourselves before, but based on other reviews of the XL sizes, especially Great Danes fitting into 6XLs, I went with the 4X and couldn’t be happier. Will be purchasing in other colors in the future 🙂

Sizing is all over the tape measure
Not sure what is going on, but the size differences are astounding. Goobie once made quality well fitted jackets. Now the material is thin, the sizing chart means nothing. It’s a crap shoot if it will fit or not. If the photos are unclear, I can submit additional pictures. Purple is 4xl, green is 5xl. The green 5xli s 6” longer then the purple 4xl

Super happy with item!
Exactly as described. Thick fleece. I bought an xs for my 7.5 lb yorkiemix and a s for my 21 lb heinz 57 shelter dog and they are so cute in them! The dogs stay outside longer, so they must be warm. The pink was more muted – more muavey than anticipated, but still happy.

Works for are German Shorthair Pointer
We have had this for a couple seasons now. It is holding up well for our GSP. She does not like the Velcro coats and this works great to slip on and off to giver her just a little more warmth. Not to be used as a rain coat.

Dog Vest
I really like this dog vest. It isn’t too heavy so I don’t recommend it for extreme cold weather. It is very soft and comfortable. My dogs love the softness and stretch. It doesn’t restrict their movement at all. It can be a little hard to figure out the correct size but their return policy is great! I highly recommend the vest!

Totally worth it
Initially, I was hesitant about ordering sight unseen. I carefully read all the reviews and based on them bought a size large. For reference my Shih tzu mix is 16lbs. It fits her perfect. She and I both love it. It’s soft, lightweight, and warm. I definitely intend on buying another one. I attached a side and front photo as reference since she is a mix breed and they tend to have different shapes.

Arrived with dog hair on it
The item already had dog hair on it when I opened the package. I have mixed feelings about this. I had to return the first one I bought because it was too big. It’s not surprising hair would stick to the fleece, but it was still a little off putting.

Perfect fleecie
My dog LOVES this jacket. The turtle neck is awesome! She has some from another company that start sliding down her back as they stretch out. This one stays in place. I was going to order the 2xl but after reading reviews I decided on the 3xl. She is a petite Pittie mix of 40lbs. In the photos she has been wearing it off and on for a few days and it has minimal stretching underneath. Another plus is it doesn’t collect dog fur from my other dog. Her other ones would be covered in dog fur in no time at all. I haven’t washed it yet so can review that. If it washes well I will order another.

Been buying these fleecies for years
Use them alone in milder weather or as a layer under a coat when it’s freezing outside. Also keeps my pups warm inside too. Only complaint, I don’t feel the fleece is as durable as in the past. Each pup has four of these vests and some of them are at least 8+ years old. The older fleece is thicker then what is used now and wear better. Newer ones seem to form holes after only a year of wearing when needed which is disappointing. Like everything else the price has tripled.

Perfect
These are great lightweight jackets for my dog, bought 2, so far. So easy to put on and take off.The sweatshirt material is soft with just the right amount of thickness. They wash well also.Perfect for fall weather. You will get shedding on them, so use a sticky roller.I chose these mainly because it gets chilly in my home and wanted her to have a little extra warmth.She has a 30 inch chest so I bought the 4x and it fits perfectly. She has other jackets for extreme weather.Wish they made a white shade so I can see her better at night, because she is black.Now if only they made a human shirt like this.

Perfect cut and outstanding quality
We have two of these wonderful Gooby vests. This one is stretchier and more form-fitting than the regular “Gooby vest.” Our dog loves both! A medium fit perfectly in both styles. He’s a 10.5 lb mini dachshund, measuring 11″ neck, 16″ chest, 13″ back. Easy to put on and off, and he can’t wriggle out of these like he does with other sweaters.

The large is a little big for 11 lb dog but still works.
My shnoodle hates wearing anything but her hair gets matted when it gets wet so she needs this. This is easy to put on, keeps her dry in light rain and she doesn’t seem to mind it once it’s on. She has an 11 inch neck, 18” chest, and 12” length. The large is a little too big for her ( especially the length) but it works with her halter over it. The violet color is not deep purple like the picture but is more blue- almost periwinkle and very pretty.

My GSP has a deeper chest. I usually have to size based on his chest. At first I got a 5x based on his chest size, because I didn’t fully read the description. It was way too long and the material is pretty stretchy so I ordered a 3x based on his length and it fits perfectly!! He’s never had anything fit so well. The quality seems great, too. I’m sure he’ll be happy w/ a warmer belly this winter!

Good material
I have a 100+lb American bully with chest size of 34.5”, going by the size chart I sized up like they recommend and ordered a 6xl. The material is very nice. However, it’s pretty big, it’s loose around his chest and hangs over his tail. I would like to give it 5-stars but the return option is misleading. I was going to return it for a smaller size but it’s to cost me extra money to ship it back and then pay full price for a smaller size. That’s a little disappointing!! So I’m just going to keep it and hope it shrinks a little in the wash.

I absolutely LOVE this dog coat! No velcro to deal with. It launders well, fits my coonhound comfortably and it actually stays on her! The size chart is pretty accurate if you measure your dog. This is the coat I’ve been searching for so I’ve bought 3!

Best sweater for my pitty!
Got this sweater for the “winter” here in south FL, because the knit ones are too flimsy for her and stretch out immediately, and this one is perfect. It’s stretchy but fitted so it hugs her body perfectly and she has full range to play and walk with ease. She’s about 45 lbs (runt of her litter, she stayed kinda small) and we got her a XL And it fits her perfect.

My boy is a english springer spaniel that weights 68 lbs. I got him an 4xl and it fits him just fine. I believe he could have also fit into an 3xl but the 4xl fits him comfortably not loose not tight.

We love these shirts but be sure to check the cut
When I received the shirt (second one I have purchase because my dog loves it but the first one is red and he needed a more basic color option)I put the shirt on my dog and immediately could see that the pattern was off. It looked lopsided or twisted. I thought it just needed to be adjusted but when I took the shirt off, I could see how crooked the cut was. Asking for a replacement was easy and we received the new one within a few days. The new one was cut straight and looked great. We love these shirts because it is not easily picked. Sweaters for dogs are the worst for picks but this fleece material holds up wonderfully. It has nice stretch and it is our pups favorite shirt. Quincy is a small 7 lb shihtzu/maltese mix. He does not have a broad chest, he has the maltese body but the XS would be too small for him. The Small fits perfectly and has the perfect amount of stretch. So I would be sure to watch the measurements and possibly size up

Love these but the Seams irritate the skin
We’ve bought a few of these for our dog months ago, due to them being Fleece, lightweight, warm and washable. Recently, we accidentally put her sweater on inside out and to our dismay, saw how this sweater was sewn. The seams are hardened and don’t lay Flat. Now dogs can’t tell us if they hurt, rub or are an irritant rubbing her skin, of course. But when we buy clothes we look for flat seams for those reasons. We had to buy her sweater one size smaller than the size we prefer, solely due to her grabbing the back end and working it off her. But with those protruding seams we elected to turn it inside out and have the smooth side against her. I’m sure her near hairless Pit Mix body feels much better that way. Otherwise…. We love these and would have scored them higher

Excellent fit. Comfort. Warmth. Quality.
This stretchy fleece pull on jacket is perfect. I have searched and searched to find a jacket for my growing chi x min pin. ~10 lbs. ~17” chest. for hours and have had to return many due to fit and sizing issues. This product has room to grow and easy to put on. Color is nice. Soft inside and out. I put it my pup as soon as it arrived as he was shivering unless wrapped in a blanket. It has not come off yet. There is no binding and pup is label to move and play easily Our temperatures are in the low 60’s, windy and raining. This jacket is safe for him to sleep in. Harness will fit over this with no problem. There is plenty of room for him to relieve himself without soiling garment. Quality is very good. I have already ordered a second one in pumpkin color. So I can change them out for washing. I have not attempted to take this off him as yet. This is a garment which keeps core body heat in. I think it is also comforting for him sort of a continuous hug. I highly recommend as a base coat or sleep wear.

Finally a pullover style that fits my Dobermans perfectly!! These are soft and stretchy, provide warmth and they look awesome! These did not impede their movement and they didn’t even seem to notice they had them on as they walked and played like they normally would! Their sizing chart is accurate, I had sized up on my first order because normally nothing ever fits them and was surprised that they were slightly too big, but still worked so we’re keeping them but also ordered a second set using the size chart recommendation and those were perfect so my advice is to measure your dog and match it to their chart and you’ll be good! For reference in my photos the black pup is 63lbs and wearing a 4XL in pumpkin color and the tan pup is 84lbs and wearing a 5XL also in pumpkin.We’ve only had for a couple days so can’t speak to how they’ll hold up long term but they seem well made and nice material. Going to order a couple more colors because we like them so much and are so happy to finally have something that fits that wasn’t super expensive!

6XL Big Dog Approved
These just arrived and they’re keepers for our big dogs. The fleece is a great mid-heavy weight, well sewn, and the pattern fits well. There is enough stretch to get them on and not pop the stitching. They seemed comfortable (though the fawn was hot; he’ll wear this only when it’s 20°F and below as he has thick fur. The other sweetie has practically no fur, so below ~35°F he likes a sweater.)Note however, there might be a quality issue in sizing or labeling. See the last photo. Both are supposedly the same 6XL. The red is a fraction less wide, and several inches shorter.For size reference:The fawn boy in red (1/2 Boxer, then 1/4 ea in remaining half Rottweiler, Shepherd, Chow-Cow, and American Bulldog) is ~96 lbs with a 21″ neck (around collar), 36″ chest, and 29.5″ collar to nub.The black/brown boy in green (1/2 Boxer then of remaining half 3/4 Retriever (DNA says Golden Retriever), 1/4 Labrador Retriever) is ~85 lbs with a 19″ neck (around collar), 34″ chest, and 29″ collar to tail.

Best way to keep a puppy warm
I have a tiny 3 pound Maltese puppy. And it started to get cold at night, so I bought a few different velour hoodies a shirts for her to wear at night. The problem I was having is she would pull her legs inside the sleeves making it so she couldn’t walk, while wearing it. So I had to get her something without legs that would keep her warm, but be comfortable and fit her correctly. Most vests have wide openings for the legs so they are easier to get on . But then with those large leg openings,there isn’t as much coverage to keep her warm. Then I found these stretchy warm vests. They don’t need big openings for the legs , because it is stretchy. And it snaps back in place to keep her covered and she has free movement of her legs. I got the size small and it fits her perfectly, with enough stretch to last awhile.And it covers her all the way down her back. Just as long as you can get her head through the neck opening it will be the right size for her. It looks very well made. And I have seen reviews saying they wash and wear well for years. I got the mint , and it’s more of a light blue , but still pretty. It seems like it will keep her warm but not too heavy. Just right for Calif winters. . I will be getting more of these in te future , so I know my fur baby is warm enough at night.

Almost 4 years of use!!!!
I can’t believe I ordered this little thing in 2019 and it’s now 2024 and still in use. I’m now buying a fresh new one which reminded me to write the review! The fleece is warm, comfortable, but not too thick and doesn’t get in the way of walking running or even sleeping. My dog could wear this for a week straight if I let him. The tummy area fits so he doesn’t leak on it too which is great! After thousands of washes it’s now kind of pilled and hair is stuck so I’m ordering a new one after so long. My dog is about 17 lbs and is part weenie so he’s a bit longer and even tho he’s small, I ordered a large and this is perfect. Fits his fat neck too LOL

Very stretchy, my dog’s favorite jacket
I highly recommend this jacket! I have now bought 4 of them because my dog seems to really love them. She is a 42 pound hound. Neck is 14.25 inches, length is 21 inches, and the largest part of her chest is 25 inches. I started by ordering her the lilac jacket in 2XL and while it fit, it is just a little snug for my liking. It’s really stretchy fleece but just looked slightly too small on her. So next I bought her the 3XL in mint (which is more of a sky blue) and I think the fit is perfect! I recommend following the girth measurement in the size chart, and not the weight. Reviews were saying to order a size smaller which is why I got the 2XL, but I love how the 3XL fits her and she can comfortably nap in it and it covers more of her back. It’s also sort of become her security blanket because she’s a little anxious and this jacket seems to help.I don’t really put the 2XL lilac on her because it’s small, so I rotate between the pink, mint, and lavender (not pictured because it’s in the wash). I wash them with all my other laundry and they do just fine. I love how quickly they dry! Since the fabric is so stretchy, it’s really easy to put the jacket on her. All of the seams are very well sewn and there are no loose threads. My dog plays very hard in this jacket and they’ve all held up so well. It’s kept her pretty warm this winter but if we’re outside for any length of time then I layer another coat over this fleece. She doesn’t seem to get overheated wearing this inside so I will often leave it on her for a good portion of the day during the winter. I’d definitely buy another one but for now 3 is enough 🙂

It Fits Our Great Dane!
We have a 135 lb. Great Dane with a 40” chest… finding anything to fit her is a challenge. I saw other reviews on this Fleece and decided to take a chance – so happy I did because it fits her beautifully (got her the 6XL). It’s SOFT and stretchy. Getting it on/off her wasn’t a problem at all. It’s perfect for bedtime since we keep our house cold at night and usually cover her with a blanket – and also great for going outside on cool days. She’ll be getting an assortment of colors because this is a fabulous find!

Perfect for Cold Days and Snow!
I have a miniature labradoodle who is basically a viking puppy and will go out and play in all types of bad weather. But when it gets into the 20s I worry its too cold. And snow sticks to his fur in clumps, so this has been a LIFESAVER for his belly! He would literally turn into a polar bear without it! Its really soft and stretchy so super easy to get on and off. Would definitely recommend!

I purchased many of these vests for my furbaby. Always Happy with the vests. I was so glad to see that it now came with a pattern. I ordered it & couldn’t wait to get it. Upon arrival & putting it on my boy, it did NOT fit like ALL the others. It was snug first of all & the length was way too long. I was so disappointed with it. Soft and cozy
We bought this to use as jammies for our senior dog on very cold nights.She hates any type of clothing being put on her. After chasing her down and corralling her, she actually briefly forgets how her legs work when we put this on her. She quickly recovers from the terrible insult we have imposed upon her, and after giving us many side eyed dirty looks, she resumes her normal activities.This vest is very soft and cozy. There is no zipper to irritate her while she sleeps (it’s a pullover). Our dog quickly forgets that she hates it and settles right down for warm slumber.

Measure twice purchase once
Love this! Go by the measurements especially chest & you should be good. My dog is a smallish Pit mix about 50-55 lbs. I bought the 3XL & it fits perfectly. She’s almost 11 & I wanted something without sleeves so it would be easier to get her arthritic legs into the armholes. Worked out really well! There’s enough of a stretch to get her in & out easily, but it’s fitted enough to keep her warm. Good quality too so I ended up purchasing two, one orange & one green.

My little golden doodle LOVES this sweater! She is about 14lbs and the large fits her perfectly!

Love these fleece coats!!
Have been buying these for years now and just love them!! They wear awesome, come in so many colors, wash & dry great and keep them warm! Unfortunately the 6X is a tiny bit smaller than I would like for my big guy but he can wear it very comfortably. Would just like one a little longer (hint hint). Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for something for their pups- whether it’s to be worm alone or layered. We’re in NJ and this can be enough most winter days. Little Letty (55lbs)is wearing a 4X (it’s a little long but covers her but and top of tail nicely) & Gator(140lbs) is in a 6X.

Cozy and sized to fit
So far so good. My dog already has a Gooby winter coat that’s held up very well for 3 years now. So I was confident in buying from this brand again. This is great for around the house if it’s a little cold or drafty and you have a smaller dog especially. Should work well for cooler days too. Not a substitute for a full-on winter coat though which has some layers and loft to it.

Comfy fit
I have 4 of these coats for my uncommonly large sized Min Pin who hates cold temperatures. They’re soft and fit her nicely, and she seems comfortable in them. I keep one of these on her 24/7 all winter. I’ll definitely order more.

Not very minty
I was hoping the color was more teal. It’s closer to light blue. But the quality is great, as expected from previous purchases.

Snug as a bug
My furkids feel the cold since they have such short hair. These jumpers have been a life saver. They stay warm and toasty and look adorable. It’s a win-win!

Very soft but dirty
I like the fleece it seems soft and it’s cute, but it arrived used/dirty with blonde dog hair all inside of it. Disappointing since it came in a new bag as if it was brand new.
