What Is Sisal?
Sisal is made from the fibers of the sisal plant.
Sisal is a plant that is grown in semi-arid regions of the globe. The most common locations to grow sisal are Brazil and Africa, due to adequate environmental conditions. Doesnt stay on the couch
My cat likes it, but the mat doesnt stay on the couch, it came off every 5 mins. Maybe because of my couch material. Need to use clippers to hold it.

Cats loved it!
Both of my cats love it! I bought it because they were destroying the couch and now they don’t even look at it. I’ll probably buy a second one soon just to have a spare in other area of the house.

Nice Looking but too small for my cat
I thought this would be perfect sized for my 4yo cat (approx 30cm long from neck to start of tail) she tried it a few times but I noticed that she actually needs 2x as much length in her body to get a full scratch, and if she digs in front paws only her back paws don’t get any benefit. Its a really nice looking sisal mat with a clean finish around the edges, just wish I could buy it bigger and it would be perfect.

No thick enough and it moves when my cats scratches this
I like that it’s a natural product and also safe. Doesn’t get messy unlike cardboard ones. But moves a lot even with the non-slip back. I use it on the floor abc whenever my cat scratches this mat, it moves and he loses interest to continue scratching.

My cats love this!
I have this spot in front of my bedroom, by the doorway into my room, where my cats have destroyed the carpet. I bought two of these, to put one over the spot by my bedroom and by the doorway to my other bedroom. At first I put them in front of both of my doorways, to the two bedrooms. It worked! They scratched at these mats instead of on my carpet! I since have moved them. I have one in my kitchen and the other in my living room. I have not needed it by my door to my bedroom, because having these keeps them from scratching at the carpet near the doorways into rooms. My cats love this and all 5 of them, at different times of course, scratch on these and it keeps them from tearing up the carpet by my doorways into the two bedrooms and bathroom of my apartment. I highly recommend these to other cat owners, who may have kitties that like to scratch at their carpets! These have helped and I will be ordering more in the future.

My Cat Loves it!
What can I say?! My cat began to use it straight out of the packaging. I have been hearing her use it in the middle of the night, which makes me wonder what she did without it while I was sleeping… And she also likes to just stretch out and lounge on it. It looks and feels very sturdy and durable. The price was reasonable. The sticky strips are a really good idea. It would be worth buying another one to stick onto a door or cabinet. Very good purchase! I recommend this scratch mat.

This was purchased to replace the cardboard scratch pads which my cat destroys and leaves all over the carpet.This product has velcro strips that attach to the carpet easily, stays in place with vigorous cat scratching and is big enough for my 13 pound cat to stretch out.

Perfect for my needs
My cat loves this mat. She likes getting on my ratan table and sharpening her claws. I put a clear table cloth on it, but she is now messing up the table cloth. This mat stopped all of the damage. I has stripes that adhere it to any surface, it does not move when she is scratching it. I love it, she loves it. It’s a win, win.

EDIT: The company reached out to me, and offered a refund, which I accepted. Since I was not required to return the scratch mat, I will purchase a sheet of plywood. I will attached the mat to the plywood, which will keep the mat from flipping up when the cat uses it on the floor.The adhesion is nominal at best; it kept falling down. The scratch mat was placed on the side of a smooth, stainless steel refrigerator next to the cats’ food and water bowls. The surface was thoroughly cleaned, but after only one day, the mat began falling down. So now, we have to remove all of the hook-and-loop tape on the back if we want to place the mat on the floor. Our home is 96 years old, the floors are wood; we won’t put anything adhesive on them.

Great Mat, But Rolled
I love this scratching mat (because my cats do). One of them actually stayed downstairs last night to sleep on it, which has never happened before. It’s also her favorite spot when she’s downstairs with me. The second I put it down, one of them sniffed it and promptly fell asleep on it before I could even move it where I wanted to keep it. The only problem was that it was so tightly rolled before I opened it that the edges wouldn’t stay down and it took awhile for it to naturally flatten completely. However, this also made it easy to put and keep on a leather chair that one of my cats scratches constantly because the edges would wrap around the seat. I don’t see a huge problem with the rolled edges (as there is a very unlikely chance that any other mat would come completely flat), but they can be inconvenient if you want to put the mat on the floor without taping it down.

My cats don’t show interest
The product itself is great. I love the idea of using wall space for a scratcher, in place of floor space. I introduced my cats to it and they have shown no interest. Even after rubbing cat nip all over it, still no interest. I was hoping this would take away interest from scratching at the couch. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the product, however, it just didn’t work out with my cats. I’m leaving it on the wall, in hopes they will take interest in it soon.

Cats love this no matter where I put it!
I bought this scratcher to help keep the cats from scratching up our sofas and out of the scratchers I bought this one and the really cheap cardboard scratchers are their favorites! They use this constantly no matter where I put it (although they seem to prefer it on the back of my couch) and it’s seriously helped to curb their destructive scratching behavior. All three of them use it (a miracle honestly) and while I haven’t stuck it to anything just yet I did test the adhesion and it’s ridiculously sticky. I would seriously buy more of these if I wasn’t running out of space!

My area rugs are safe now
My cat decided that my area rugs are a great place to sharpen claws. Bought this scratch mat and adhered it to a 20 x 20 piece of plywood. She loves it and is not scratching the area rugs now.

I bought these to help redirect my kittens from the furniture. They seem to enjoy scratching these, or just sitting on them. I haven’t stuck them to anything, so I can’t comment on that, but they do come rolled up, so expect to have to lay the flat under something heavy for a few days to get them flat. You could probably try heating them a bit with like a hair dryer or heat gun(with caution), and that might help speed the process up. I did not do that, but I have used it on other things in the past.

My cat loves this mat!,
My adopted cat was scratching on my living room furniture rather than her scratching posts😡. She has no interest in her posts, so I thought I would try this mat. I placed it on the floor near her favourite place to scratch on the couch and she started using it within 30 minutes and hasn’t used my furniture since. The mat is on my hardwood floor and it moved around a little but that doesn’t seem to bother her. I’m confused as to why there are Velcro pieces adhered to the back of the mat, I don’t know if it would actually stick to anything. Nevertheless, I highly recommend this mat, the quality is excellent and my cat uses it😃.

Cats love it. This mat looks good too. We put it just inside the cat flap and they use it to scratch their claws almost every time they go in and out. Best scratch mat ever. Saves them scratching the furniture. A smart mat which suits the house too 😀

The cat really loves this mat
The cat really loves this mat and he likes to sit on it when he’s not using it for scratching. It is a bit small (he’s a big cat though) and the velcro doesn’t stick to my particular rug but it is fairly stiff and sturdy and stays put pretty well.

Cat Used This 15 Times Right Away!
Cat Loooooooooves this! I put it on a surface he was destroying and now he is just scratching the mat. It’s very attractive to him! He’s a young one. 6 months to 1 year old. I don’t think I would use the adhesion for fear it would cause damage but I haven’t tried it either.

Day one, I suspected it was going to turn out to be another fruitless kitty gift, as he warily investigated it then walked off. Day two – he not only used it to scratch but decided it could double as a bed. Several weeks in he regularly sleeps on it for hours and no longer scratches the same spot in the carpet when he wants to get my attention. The material and weave look very robust and no sign of fraying to date. A resounding success!

I love the sisal, they are more durable than the cardboard scratchers. The mat comes rolled up and can take a while to get it flat. It also has Velcro to attach it to a surface which it’s great because the mat has no weight to keep it down when being scratched. I’m not sure I was to stick it on my rug though…. Otherwise, I have it sitting on my rug with something to hold it down

Lejos la calidad es mucho mejor que los de cartón claro está que va a depender de la preferencia de tu gatito en mi caso mi gatito tiene los de cartón que destroza muy rápidamente y en cambio este siento que lo disfruta más porque no lo puede romper y es muy bien adherido y también se puede despegar fácilmente sin romper el piso o la pinturaActualizo reseña Enero 2023:La alfombra se ha despegado sin mas y ha dañado el piso. Además que parece desilacharse facilmente aunque mi gato no está todo el tiempo usándola. Por el precio no se si vale la pena. No dura mucho.

May work for some
Wish it worked with my cat but it doesn’t. She will literally move it aside to scratch on the carpet. I’ve finally found some other scratchers that work for her. Wish this one worked for the teeny bit of carpet in 1 room that she’s determined to destroy. Carpet is like grass to her so it’s probably her but I still keep this thing there in hopes she’ll use it. Also it doesn’t stick well.
