A Brilliant Printer
This printer is brilliant, it scans copies and faxes, there is loads of support online for it which is great because I’m not very good with these things. It was very easy to set up even for me. It’s a good sturdy printer and I’m sure anyone with a smart phone will find it a doddle. I set mine up for using with the pc and it is great. For the price it is an excellent purchase and looks much nicer than printers i’ve had before.

Fiddley to set up
Once set up printer is fine, good job I ordered extra in cartridges as printer indicated the supplioed ones had insufficient ink for set up, will use when current ones need replacing. Wireless is also a fiddle, very small lettering is not helpful as it would not allow the WPS button to be used (not unusual).

Great quality printer
I purchased this when it was on offer for a lightening deal and I’m really impressed with the printing done so far. This printer does 1 or 2 sided prints, it’s printed labels, it’s a great all round printer. The app is handy too, very user friendly and I found setting up the printer to connect to my wifi network really easy – the instructions are on the LED screen on the printer itself. Very happy with my purchase.

Feeder does not work, and double sided scanning is not possible
I wanted this printer only for the purpose of scanning bundles of two-sided documents. When I tried scanning some documents, I realised that it could not do double-sided scanning using the feeder on top of the printer, which was the only reason I bought it. I could not find any review or any information in the product description that stated this.When feeding in multiple documents, I found that it still only scanned the first document and not the others, and of course, only one side. This may have been an error on the specific model I had, or an error of my own, I am not sure. However, double-sided printing is possible using the dashboard.The only reason I bought this was for the double-sided scanning using the feeder, so I have returned it. It seems a good printer for the price, but if you plan to use the scanner and the feeder I think there are probably better printers available.

It’s okay at best. And don’t believe everything in the listing
Other reviews led me to expect a fiddly setup, and they were not wrong. Despite having the app, and trying to go through the steps, they kept losing connection with each other and I ended up having to input the WiFi password via the screen and the arrows. Not ideal.What nothing prepared me for was how awkward it would be AFTER it was set up. Half the time it throws a fit if you try to scan. Even if you manage to, half the time the app has a fit when I’m trying to save the file. I haven’t tried scanning from my laptop yet, so I can’t speak for the PC controls yet. The app also needs a much better way of integrating the odd and even scanned pages from the ADF than manually one-by-one.It’s also tricky to close the lid of the scanner if you decide to put something on the glass instead. Fail to make the pin line up and have it click into place and you’ll have a scan half-covered in black even though your page is completely flat.And the printing. Where do I start with the printing? Probably with the fact that 90% of the time, it doesn’t start printing until you go to pick up your printed pages and find that they haven’t in fact printed because the printer is either asking about the paper that’s in it (that has not changed), or complaining about a paper jam that doesn’t actually exist. Solving these problems involve having to read the tiny screen – especially about which of the two “accept” buttons it wants you to press. Because it seems to choose at random.As for double-sided printing that the listing says it does, which was one of the main reasons I picked this particular model? Well, it does print double-sided. In the same way that any printer prints double-sided. It doesn’t actually do it automatically, though these options exist within the print options. You absolutely must only pick the “manual” option in the print menu, and reinsert the pages back into the printer.Really, its only saving grace is that, when it gets its act together, the print and scan quality does actually seem quite good. But, honestly, it’s making me wish I’d bought a new printhead for my elderly Canon Pixma after all.

Being able to print from my mobile phone is important to me.
The connection set up was very easy to follow and I am able to print from my mobile phone and laptop without any problems. However, I am having difficulties getting the unit to scan to my laptop.

Great Printer.Easy to set upWorking perfectly on my Mac mini M1 , iPads , iPhone etc. (also on kids phones as well)so great printer but ‘boy oh boy’ are the ink cartridges mega expensive £80+ for a set … nearly as much as the printer itself.Which is scary!!!!

I used a Workforce series printer for the past 8 years. It served me very well. I bought the WF-2950DWF, not because the last one broke down, but because I moved from the Far East to the Far West. Epson is a robust workplace printer that I trust.

Quality has dropped
I had an older model of this printer for years so thought I’d stay with the same brand. Quite disappointed whit how the quality has dropped. The printer feels and sounds cheap, it’s flimsy plastic and make an horrendous noise when printing. That’s when it decides to print mind! If I see paper jam one more time it’s going out the window!

Easy to Setup & Use, Great Quality
When I was looking for a new printer, I wanted it to have paper loaded from the front (most now seem to load from the back), to be easy to print over wifi without needing an app on mobile, and have automatic double sided printing. The icing on the cake with this printer is that it also has an ethernet port so no wifi configuration needed at all :).When you first turn it on, the printer walks you through the setup process, which includes printing out a number of sheets with fine grids on, so that it can align the print heads properly.Using an ethernet cable, that was all I needed to do – straight away my mobile could see it on the wifi (the ethernet cable is plugged into the wifi router), and I was able to print right away.If you install the mobile app, it also allows you to scan over the network and send directly to your phone.It’s quite unusual for technology to be *so* straightforward and easy to set up, but Epson have really nailed it with this scanner / printer.5 stars – I love it4 stars – I like it3 stars – It’s ok2 stars – I don’t like it1 star – I hate it

Great price, setup easy, great value
This is my 2nd Epson printer in 5 years, price is great and superb value for money. AirPlay very easy to set up. Computer setup took longer but made so easy when I got the relevant USB cable (don’t know why cable is not supplied and only cost £5) it hooked up in seconds. Overall great printer for a great price.

WF-2930 Not Fit For Any Purpose
Previously had a WF-3520 printer for 5 years (excellent product) and now have recently bought a WF-2930 as replacement, which is a very poor product from Epson – almost pointless. The printer menu design makes you press buttons more times than you need to, to carry out a simple task. Even switching it off requires 2 taps of a button. However, the most damming factor about this printer is that it appears to drink toner like a Jaguar XJS in reverse gear, going up a steep hill. This is because toner cartridge capacity is tiny (black 3.4ml, colour 2.4ml). Whilst marketed as a budget printer, there’s nothing low cost about its running costs. Its rather slow to print as well, which is its primary function. I would advise not to buy this printer, its a pointless ‘also ran’ in the Epson suite, with shrinkflation at work.

Good printer but appalling software
I’m a retired IT professional. In my working life I bought and installed literally thousands of printers. Epson was always one of my go-to makes.This is my second WF printer for homes use. They’re good printers but the ink is quite costly. The one thing that stands out is the appalling state of Epson software. I’ve installed their software in home and small business situations many, many times and it just never gets any better and much of it has not been updated in years and years. Just as an example, to use the print fully on my own MacBook it’s just installed 12 different application, at least 2 of them do not work at all or do not support the printer they’re installed for. For completeness I done the same install on my wife’s Windows laptop is the same.A decent printer let down by really appalling software.

Good home printer
Nice size printer with automatic double side printing. A little complicated to set up and takes a bit of time, but once set up works well. Cost of original ink cartridges is extortionate and ones that come with the machine only have a small amount on ink and run out quickly.Even compatible inks are quite expensive for CMYK but seem to work okay. Print quality is acceptable and speed of printing once it hits the printer is quite fast.

Instruction manual.
Took me ages, via the Internet instructions, to connect laptop with WiFi. A simple instruction manual (in English) would have been far more satisfactory. I wouldn’t recommend for simple home use by the elderly.

Cheap printing, disappointing scanner.
Pretty cheap to run particularly if you use non-genuine ink, the print quality is OK for the price, the scanner is not much good (the similarly priced cannon which I bought this to replace was notably better), the sheet feeder broke after about a week and doesn’t seem to be fixable.

Easy to setup, colour reproduction is good.The only negative so far is that when printing remotely from my Android phone there is no feedback on whether it is successful or not.Edit:- A USB cable is needed for scanning which is not supplied.

Most annoying printer in the world
Lovely cheap printer that’s great till you ask it to print on card or anything other than plain a4 paper, its constantly beeping at you and very annoying, set up was a pain in the butt, no usb cable provided so you have to use wifi print which is a nightmare, bought a cable from amazon to solve that, ink provided doesn’t last long at all but you can get aftermarket ink at a reasonable ish price. used to love epson but this one is very annoying

Good all-round printer
The printer arrived on time and was well packaged. It was simple to set up and connect to the network. The inks (4) are easy to insert and unlike most new printers, the inks were full. Downloading the software to my laptop was reasonably quick and had no problems. In a short time, I was able to start printing. The touch pad just pulls out and is fairly obvious to use. Most things can be done from there, including maintenance. My only slight concern is that a couple of times the paper feed caused a jam, making an awful sound, our dog did not like at all. Apart from this slight problem, cannot but highly recommend at the pricepoint.

Good Quality Printer For Home Use & Small Business
This printer works well in the home environment for the occasional user but it also handles continual daily use for the small business user operating from home.The printer is easy to set up by following the enclosed ‘quick start’ manual.Cartridges for the colours are clearly marked and super easy to load into the printer.The printer comes neatly packed with clearly visible ‘Blue tags’, which are the tags you need to remove before setting up the printer.All you have to do is plug the printer in with a USB cable and most modern computers will pick it up and install the software without having to load a disc.WiFi setup is easy via the small menu on the printer itself.All in all a great home use printer – excellent quality printing – loads a fair amount of paper from the back to prevent jamming – and of course, allows compatible cheaper inks.

SO noisy!
The print quality is really bad and it cranks and grinds like an old car trying to get started on a damp morning. I do not have high hopes for it lasting very long. It was cheap and it is cheap. If you want to print/scan/copy more than a few non-important items occasionally then I suppose it is fine. It took ages to work out how to set it up.

Super easy
Was far easier to set up than expected. Downloaded the app which basically step by steps you through the process.It’s not bulky and the printing process is far quicker than my original printer. Smaller than you might think but it does the job. Prints are standard quality I’ve had no issues.
