useless
the only thing this is good for is turning the lights on and off other then that its useless1-i have to say specific words for it to do something other wise it wouldnt do it2-i ask her about the call to prayer and the times and she doesnt understand3-it always has to be plugged in to work other wise it wontand thats just the 1st day of buying it

Very good. My kids loves too much.
Good quality. So many things u can do with Alexa. I used to connect it with my tv as a speaker. Im amaze with the small functions that she’s doing like,skipping ads, playing next video and pause video. My kids like to play with Alexa by asking her to make animals sounds and more..Over all I’m very happy and satiafied with Alexa. Highly recommended.

Nice but troublesome to set up
Not possible to pair two units up. The help launches straight into quite complicated discussions about wifi router settings and it seems this feature will not work on shared wifi (which is not obvious until you’ve spent ages trying…)Sound quality only ok considering the price but not the best for music.

Good smart speaker
I use it daily. Works great. Only sometimes it disconnects from internet. I have multiple in several rooms and can connect from one to another as intercom. You can also choose to play the same music on all devices at once so acts like a surround system. I just find the Alexa app annoying to use, doesn’t always connect to them successfully.

Excellent device, good sound
May not be the latest? But I now have a version of each in different rooms in my apartment. Very happy with Alexa 😎 Already have Siri and was not sure Alexa was as smart. But I think she now clearly understands my voice 🤣 thank you Amazon for the usual great , easy, smooth delivery 👌

المنتج رائع خاصة اذا كنت مستخدم آبل سيري ، يوجد اختلاف واضح في الامكانيات ويمكن لهذا الجهاز فعلا ان يساعدك علي تطوير انتاجيتك اليومية ، بتذكير المواعيد والصلاة والادعية وكثير. يمكن وصفه انه اكثر من رائع.اللغة العربية لازالت تحت التطوير ، ولكن النطق صحيح جدا واللهجة الخليجية اعطتها طابع خاص. مقارنة ب آبل سيري ، يمكن ان تجد فرق واضح وكلما سالتها باللغة العربية اندهشت من قدرتها علي التحدث بطلاقة بنسبة ٨٠٪ من جميع المخرجات.المشكلة ان هناك اشياء فقط متاحة باللغة الآنجليزية او مهارات مصممة للرد باللغة الآنجليزية .مثال علي ذلك : التنبيهات بمواعيد الموجودة في تقويم جوجل. باللغة الانجليزية يمكنها التحدث بمفردها وتنبيهك بموعد في جدول مواعيدك. ،لكن هذه الخاصية غير موجودة باللغة العربية.اليكسا باللغة العربية جيده فقط بالرد علي آسالتك المباشرة ولكن لا تستطيع ان تستخدمها في النطق بمفردها في كثير من المهام.

Great sound for a room
The echo dot is perfect if you’re using in a room. The sound projection is great and while the bass isn’t the best if you’re playing music but definitely worth it for the money.

Doesn’t link well to apple music at all, have to reset it every other week. Might be good if you pay for amazon music as well as prime! Sound is pretty good for the size of it. Nothing to write home about.

She’s handy to have around
I didn’t really know how I would use Alexa but my kids said I should have one; a week in and I like having her around… she puts my music on, creates my shopping list which then shows on my phone, gives me exercises to do, turns my lights on/off and answers my questions, giving me info from the web etc… I’m only just learning but there are web pages dedicated to the things Alexa can do or The 50 skills of Alexa. 😊

Usless and Disappointed
I don’t know if all Echo Dots are like this or mine is defected – but basically my Alexa is stupid, can’t even reply to basic tasks (even though I added her some of the skills) a big example is the alarm that he sometimes misses and is daily scheduled – Even after resseting it, she was speaking in AR while the app and to Alexa, she was speaking in ENGLISH.
