First time trying- sticky and holds up to some extent
first time trying and it is ok, maybe a need better makeup products or setting spray. It is sticky and does make makeup stay for a bit but does not do well with powder products from my experience. does not dry out my skin. i recommend for the price.

Grip
Very affording while maintaining fair results. I have neutral oily skin, and this product keeps some moisture, but recommend moisturing face 1st with other product to keep from having dry appearance. On it’s own, some of my foundation does bleed onto my shirt collar.

Milks makeup power grip dupe
Makes my makeup stay on for hours and is so sticky that my makeup just clings onto my stink for the whole time i’m wearing it. doesn’t make me break out even though i have sensitive skin i highly recommend this product.

Works good, but a little hard to put on
It works really good, it’s just kinda hard to put on. It was almost like covering my face with elmers glue. The second time i tried it, I used it with the poreless putty primer and it worked great.

My Daughter Loves this Primer
My teenage daughter loves this primer. She says it helps her makeup stay on most of the day. It has a green gel-like consistency and comes in a small tube. It is very cheap compared to other primers (about $10) so I will likely purchase again.

This is literally the best primer I’ve ever had!
My sister had this primer and I used it to go out. Well long story short I woke up with a full face of make up….and my make up looked like I just put it on! I was literally shocked on how well this worked. A bit sticky to put on. But once it dries good to go! Also tip. Use eye primer first before you use this all over your face for extra moisture!

Better than chicken fried rice!!!
This stuff is the bomb! it is amazing. My face looks like porcelain after applying my makeup. It’s truly amazing. I get so many compliments on my makeup now. Love it. Wait 30 seconds after applying for it to dry and boom then you’re ready to apply 🙂

I decided to try this because a influencer that I watch uses it and recommends it for a good primer at a low price and it works great. My skin is dry/oily and it makes my make up look great and then I use translucent setting powder after applying all my make up.

Good makeup primer
I liked that this makeup primer made my foundation go in smoothly. It is easy to spread and is moisturizing. It also helped my makeup stay on much longer than without a primer. It didn’t do much to blur my pores and fine lines though.

never had a problem with this primer. I also never broke out from it. i will keep repurchasing this primer since it’s that good! however, i would say to let your primer dry before putting on your base. i find that if you don’t let it sit and dry your makeup could look patchy so def let it dry before putting your foundation or concealer

Love this primer!
Product works great on my skin! I have combination skin and it hydrates my skin well, my concealer does not crack or get crusty. I do recommend still moisturizing plenty before putting on the primer.

Fantastic product!
I usually use ELF putty primer which I absolutely love but after reading the reviews I had to try this. OMG! This stuff is so amazing! I was a little put off by the initial stickiness but once it dries my skin looks incredible and it keeps my make-up in place. Definitely my new favorite! LOVE THIS MAKE-UP AND SKINCARE LINE! ❤️

Cheap and good for the price
I LOVE elf products because i dont wear makeup enough to buy expensive brands. It never lets me down. Always a good product for a good price and this primer is no different. It goes on just a bit sticky but it feels like nothing once dry.

Grips makeup all day!
This worked great but it did make my skin a little too dry. I definitely need heavy moisturizer before use but it works very well. My skin looked smooth and even. There was no peeling on my foundation at the end of the day.

The Best

Great Primer
This primer is great. It keeps my makeup on all day and is a great price. I also love the packaging. However I have heard that this primer peel your Fondation or concealer but I found some solutions to that off of tiktok. I have dry skin by the way so I’m not sire if it is meant for other akin types but I would recommend trying this and e.l.f. also has a mini version of this and Target and Ulta.

Favorite primer

Keeps makeup flawless.
You cannot get a better primer, especially for the price! The primer spreads well but is very tacky and weird the first time you use it..Don’t worry, once you put your foundation on, the primer does its magic, The makeup looks flawless and lasts all day. Just make sure you spread evenly on face. If you miss a spot with the primer, that part of face will look patchy.

Maybe not for an older face . . .
First I will say that this primer does keep your makeup on. It’s sticky at first and not that easy to spread so you have to be quick. But, I am an older female and didn’t find the product the right one for my face. It made my face shiny and puffy – maybe that last was sensitivity. I thought I would appreciate the pink and the glow but that glow on me was really just too shiny. It also caused foundation to settle into lines more than usual. So, it didn’t do what it should for a face my age. That said, I think this product is probably good for someone younger if you can get past the initial sticky feeling. I also had no trouble returning,so I am giving this 4 stars based on the qualifications I mentioned. I do like Elf products so I will return to the Elf primer I was using before (Skin Suntouchable – which goes on very smooth and holds my makeup just fine).

Elf Primer
One of the reasons I really like the Elf Primer is because it helps my foundation to go on smoothly. The second reason I like and purchase this primer is because of the price. Competitors will sometimes charge $40+ for primer, which is truly outrageous. I recommend this product without hesitation. It is slightly sticky, but give the primer a moment to set and it will go on flawlessly.

Excellent finish
This was different from my usual primer. I’ve tried a few different ones and always need something hydrating. This gel primer is so much better than the putty primer I was using before. I had also most recently tried Elf poreless primer that had a mousse consistency, but I found that it just wouldn’t set right.I just tried this on my hand and can already tell how much better it is. The consistency is much better and it sets to a really nice, smooth, hydrated but dry surface that is the perfect “canvas”. My skin actually absorbs it! With other primers, it would just sit on my skin and “melt”.This is my new go-to. 🙂

I got a smaller size of this product at target for 3 dollars and I didn’t know they had a larger version so I got this to see. This is pretty large for me (I don’t wear makeup often) so it’s really nice and it actually held my makeup when I did do it. I really like how it feels on my skin too. Definitely recommend

My favorite primer!
I love this primer! It’s the best affordable primer I’ve used. In the past, I felt as it didn’t work as fell but it was a consumer mistake. I was using a silicone based foundation when is is a water based primer. Once I switched to a water based foundation it was a game changer. My makeup lasts forever and looks great for HOURS. So, for best results definitely make sure you are picking the right foundation!

Is as good as they say!
One of my favorite influencers said I needed to try this. I could not find it anywhere where I live it’s so popular. I can see why. The tackiness allows my makeup to stay for a long time! The only thing that isn’t so great is I have really sensitive skin and it does make it turn red a bit. Easy enough to cover with the makeup though.
