Does the job, BUT….
Ok so it does the job, but the ice is watery, after is done and you transfer it to a bag then the freezer they ice sticks all together because it’s watery in the beginning and well it finishes freezing itself in the freezer. Also when you take out ice from machine and put it on the beverage it melts very very fast, like REALLY fast.I still love the machine but I would of prefer if it actually froze the ice more.

47 Days stopped working
I had this machine for one month and 17 days and it NO LONGER WORKS! I was told it was too late for a return and when I called they said I needed to chat online! When I chat online they say I need to call! 😡 When it worked it was the best ice machine ever! We loved it! However, for the cost and the short time it worked, I DO NOT RECOMMEND! If they make it right I will update my post but for now, do NOT waste your money!

Amazing Machine
I like the simple setup of the machine. It was easy and it went right to work. Very pleased so far.I haven’t anything bad to say. I did see the first ice it made, melted quickly when I put ice in mythermos bottle. I didn’t put it in the freezer right after it was made. Now, after it makes ice I putthe ice in the freezer, and that made the difference. I just got it last Wednesday, but whenever Ihave used it, it works like a charm.

Fantastic product! Makes the best ice!
I replaced a smaller version of this brand’s icemaker, because it malfunctioned and they issued a refund which I applied to this larger icemaker. This one is 10x better! The ice stays colder in the bin, but just “melty” enough for the perfect crunchy ice. The self-cleaning feature is great, too. I use filtered water (Pur brand) and the ice is so good tasting.

very good!
We had to buy a new ice maker because our last one broke down. We decided to go for this one because it made more ice in less time. It really does perform well. It says it makes ice every 7-15 minutes, but it really felt like 7 minutes was accurate. With our last ice maker, we would use almost all the ice it made on one drink. With this one, we had so much ice we had to let it melt down, our freezer was full and our thermoflasks were filled with ice. We went ahead and bought the extended 5 year warranty because our last ice maker broke down after a year. This one seems a lot better built so were hoping it last a long time.

Ice Ice Baby
3 kid playing competitive sports makes it hard for our ice maker to keep up. We added this ice maker to help with that issue. I like the size/s of the ice, it fits in the bottles. Would prefer if the ice maker were refrigerated to keep ice made frozen but sadly this is a make and move maker (it makes and i have to move them to our freezer quickly) I like that the ice isn’t super hard so it also makes nice slushy drinks. I’m happy with my purchase

Magnificent!!
I read several reviews giving it high marks, then others saying the ice had a plastic taste. I researched the issue and found that cleaning before use with vinegar should eliminate the problem. The manufacturer recommended cycling the self clean option with plain water and wiping with vinegar. I added water for self clean and about 1/4 cup vinegar. Emptied the water then cycled it with fresh water. No plastic or other altered taste. Just good clean ice!

Wet ice but looks great, works fast
The ice maker looks great and anyone that comes to visit is really impressed with it…I get lots of questions about it and people love it. We love it too – my only issue is the ice is wet and freezes together when we move to freezer. I’ve had it in 3 different places in kitchen and nothing helps with the wetness.

Is it possible to get an ice machine to last longer than a year?
I bought this machine in Dec 2022, less than a year later and it stops working. I bought this one to replace another brand I had that also failed less than a year, was replaced, and then that one failed. Hopefully this one is covered still.

Here’s a Fix for those getting Ice Full light
It was a great ice maker for the first month then started getting the Ice Full indicator light even when there was no ice in the bin. Unplugging from power and back in did not help like it does with a lot of electronics. What finally worked was just taking my finger and gently rubbing both sensors at the top of the bin cleaning them, after a power cycle it started working again. Every once in a while it will do it again and cleaning the sensors will fix it again. Hope this helps someone as support seems to be non existent.

I’ll avoid this company in the future
I’ve had this for a while now, but as summer comes again and frustration builds up excessively, I remembered I didn’t review this special…. special… ice maker. When it works, it works great. Two sizes of ice, though it uses up water like crazy. But the main drawback is the ice maker deciding it’s full. No matter what, even with zero ice and running overnight, it reports full. When you tell it to ‘start” then it tries to push the no-ice into the tray and when it fails because there is no ice it goes back to full.Throw some ice in top portion and let it push it over, still reports full.Only way to make it actually give ice again? Unplug and plug it in. From that, we now have an outlet that can’t hold a plug anymore. So this has actively ruined part of my house now. I contacted the company when we first got it and several times since, zero response ever. The company might as well not even exist outside of pumping out broken ice makers. But I paid so much for it that I really wanted to make it work. Now I see they have a new model, so even more so I want to warn against this company. They have zero support, literally zero.

They warranted- good customer service
The media could not be loaded.
The Warranty department stepped up and has said they will send a replacement. It worked for 8 months just fine. Great ice maker! Probably just a glitch. Be sure you always use purified water to get better ice and machine life! 11-9-22. Update, received the new icemaker today from the factory. They kept their word, that’s the best we can hope for. If you’ve ever been in manufacturing or retail sales, you already know that anybody can sell a product, but the real proof is the warranty and the customer service.

Forget the low ratings
I was a little nervous ordering the ice maker. My nervousness went away shortly after the ice maker arrived. Everything that the ice maker said it would do it did. The surprising thing was that the ice doesn’t melt at anywhere near the rate I was led to believe by some of the reviews. The ice is wet when it drops into the bucket but it quickly dries. If you use bottled water you get great tasting ice. The ice maker has two size settings. There’s a small and a large setting. The small size is faster to make than the large is. It’s also the faster to melt. Enjoy your ice maker.

Very nice ice cube maker
I researched for hours for just the right ice maker after my last one died. This one is is so much better. It makes bigger ice cubes and you have the option for smaller cubes. I love how the black stainless color matches my appliances too. I have had this machine now for 5 months and I love it so much. It is on all day every day and has ran perfect since day one. I love that it holds more ice because living in Arizona I love my ice. I’m never without and even if I did it would make some quickly. Highly recommend this one does not disappoint.

This ice machine saved the day.
We bought this when our ice make went out on our Samsung fridge. We leave it on on the counter all the time.Every few weeks I clean with bleach bc the back part where you make ice is very hard to reach and in the south I guess it leave humidity when not making ice. So it could grow some mold. Other then that it makes ice in about 7 minutes.. in the middle of night it is a lil noisy but you could just make the ice you need and freeze for later and turn off.

Good…while it lasted
My family enjoyed using this machine during the hot AZ summer months. However I noticed it wasn’t doing a good job with the “cleaning” setting. So I opened it up to give it a good wipe down and noticed metal flakes have been coming off the bars that freeze the ice. I inspected the ice and sure enough it was sticking to the ice. Not sure how long it has been doing it and how long we have been unknowingly consuming it. I contacted the company and I am just outside their year warranty. Pretty good machine if you don’t care how long it lasts.

This is a work horse. We constently drink water with ice and our first one lasted well past two years. I cleaned it out peridically but eventually the pump died in the first one. I shopeed around for a new one and I couldn’t find one that compared to what we originally had for the value. We’ll probably upgrade evenutally but for now, the second one is doing the job.

Lasts about 3 years when used constantly
I purchased this ice machine 3 years ago. My family loves ice and this machine worked amazing for 3 years. The ice is made very quickly and the machine is easy to clean. After 3 years of using this machine everyday, the motor burnt out. The machine didn’t shut off but we smelled a potent burning rubber smell coming from the motor. I’m throwing it out but I really liked it while it lasted. I’m just happy I was home when this happened.

Great Machine All Around
I loved this machine so much I bought a second one for our cabin. It literally starts making ice in minutes and within a few hours you will have a full 10+ bag of ice. I generally just turn it on in the morning at the cabin and empty it every couple hours and we have ice for drinks and coolers all day. Super easy to use and clean saves trips to the store and storing a bunch of ice when you want to be enjoying the day. It does not refrigerate the ice so if you don’t empty it periodically the ice will start to melt back into the machine. Highly recommend and both units are still going strong after a couple years. I personally drain and wipe down my units when not using them and they stay perfect inside.

Makes ice fast
When first using this product, It didn’t want to work. I couldn’t find any info on how to fix it but pressing the start button again restarted the ice-making process. The only other I’ve had when using this device was the ice maker part went didn’t get turned off one time and froze the water basin in place. I let the device sit for a few hours to let the ice melt and it was working fine again after that. The machine holds three pounds of ice and makes seven (i believe) ice pieces every nine minutes. After 30 minutes you would have more than enough ice for a drink or two if you like a lot of ice. When you go back for more ice, you probably will have more than enough ice for whatever you plan to do with it.

Nice counter top ice maker
The ice maker in our 4 year old Whirlpool fridge decided to die on us and the repair estimate was almost $500! We went several months without ice, but finally had enough and decided that we needed one to make smoothies and because our drinks were just better with ice cubes. We read the the reviews of the various models and finally decided on this Dreamircle. The ice maker is really easy to use. You plug it in, add water and push a button. While it’s making the ice it’s quiet, but when the machine is moving the ice from the mold to the tray it makes a little noise. Nothing loud or obnoxious. Just the sound of it hitting the tray. If there’s already ice in it, then that seems to absorb some of the sound so you hardly hear it. The size is not bad. It fits under our upper cabinets. In general I don’t like a lot of clutter on my counter tops, but for the convenience of having ice, I will take it. The down side is it’s not a freezer and won’t store the ice. Once the ice is made, you have to use it or it will melt. When it melts, the water goes back into the water reservoir and is reused to make ice. Most of the countertop ice makers did it this way. Anywho, we make the ice, bag it and put the ice in our freezer. SO other than that one inconvenience, it’s been great so far.

Best Ice maker out of 4
Sorry I couldn’t get a photo, this is the best of 4 I have tried, you name it I have had my share of problems. I cleaned machine like it said to, I even cleaned it a few more times, I left it sitting open for 24 hrs prior to even plugging it in, I use it every day and have not had one problem, well except that I am light sensitive and I swear you can land a 747 aircraft because of the lights on this being SO BRIGHT! I was going to just put a little neutral nail polish over them and that would have worked perfect!, but I just took out my hole punch and used an address label which was white and already had glue on it, you may need tweezers to peel something and it fit perfect. By blank address label I mean I the ones you use in your printer, or the ones they send to you when organizations are fundraising I donate a lot so I always have plenty on hand. Now to the ice maker it produces solid cloudy ice I use a gal jug to fill it with water from my Brita filter on the faucet. In case you don’t know according to Scotsman Icemakers cloudy ice is softest, they are the makers of the big machines that produce pebble ice or Sonic ice, I can tell you this ice doesn’t met fast for comparison I get a coke from the only place in the world that make a perfect on McDonald’s and within an hour the ice is gone! I like cold cold drinks a so I take my own Bubba Insulated Cup filled with ice and I can drink it as long as I want to without drink it being watery, I usually make my own iced tea and drink that, as you can tell I am a picky ice person I like to crunch my ice and clear ice DROVE MY HUSBAND MAD! but Not now! he says he can deal with this. I was using two bags of grocery store ice a day, at $129 a bag, bringing it home and running it through a Waring Pro IC-70 ice crusher and now I don’t have to do that small or large cube makes no different I don’t have to crush it any more. I made two canvas bags to hold my ice in one holds about 15lbs and one about 8 lbs that way I never run out of ice at all. You will save money! Simple to use and just wipe it clean with a soft cloth, and a trick if you do store the ice in a container is to lift basket almost out and tilt it to drain any excess water and your ice will not stick together. I think I have saved at least $400.00 so far and not to mention the time you gotta lug it in and out of the car, Buy it you won’t regret it!

Looks to be a nice piece
Let me do a cliffs notes then ill elaborate. Basically it holds a little over 3 quarts of water on the first fill, holds about 3 times as much ice as our old magic chef war horse held. It uses an optic eye to stop production which is a huge step up over the thermocouple our old one used. And it has a self clean mode which is essentially just a mode where it runs the water pump to circulate water or vinegar for 6 minutes. Thats about the jist of what separates this one from our old one.I have had a magic chef ice maker for the last 5 or 6 years. It finally bit the big one. It had a good run and hadn’t been shut off in nearly 3 years. I spent a couple weeks looking at ice makers. I go through a ton of ice during the summer. Daily we used all our old ice maker could make, all the freezer ice maker could make plus 6 trays of ice daily as well. Finally decided on this one as its a step up in production from our old one and appeared to have a bigger basket for ice. I was pleased to see it does indeed have quite larger of a basket. I would say it holds at least 3 times what our old one held. Holds about another quart of water as well. It was a little short of a gallon of water. As mentioned above it appears to use an optic eye that trips when its full of ice instead of a thermo couple like our old one. I always hated it because it never failed a cube would get hung on it and trip it before it was really full of ice. Also this one has what they call a clean mode which is a little bit of an exaggeration. But it will be handy. It circulates the pump for 6 minutes. So u could put some vinegar in it and just let it circulate then purge it with water and off you go again. Also it has a drain underneath it. Controls are simple enough. Has 2 sizes of ice cube and then clean mode. Basically 2 buttons. My only concern is longevity. My last one was a trooper and I hope this one is too. With appliances these days its always a gamble and their website looks a little sketchy as well. But its a great looking piece that really brings class to the counter top. I will try and post an update in a few months. I will certainly work it like a dog. Im posting 4 stars so far because time will tell on longevity and if I have a warranty issue or something. The 5th one is earned not given.

Everything
I reviewed ice machines for four months before I decided to buy. I was almost to a point of closing my eyes and picking one. But one did stand out and I decided to quit stalling and go with it. It was theDreamiracle Ice Maker Machine and the moment it came in the door I have been happy with it. I have had it for two months now and I ask myself the questions I had before buying.Does it make too much noise? No, it’s very quiet and it you listen very hard it almost sounds like a duck, but you have to listen for it.Does it make ice fast? Yes, I think the makers made it drop the first icicles so you can hear how fast it can be. Ether way it’s fast enough for me.Are the ice cones come out wet and stick together when put in the ice tray of your freezer? Yes they are and that bother me during the time I researched Ice machines but since I got this one I figured if the ice wasn’t wet when it finished it would not be Ice and yes it sticks to the already frozen Ice because that is what Ice does. In the end I was praised by members of my family for a great choice I had made in selecting the Dreamiracle Ice Maker Machine and my job is to keep the Ice from sticking. After each tray of Ice is made just wait ten minutes and use your Ice pick (or knife ) and you will be on your way to saving money and never running out of Ice. P.S. Buy something like a Brita to keep your water clean for the Ice .

Best ice machine!!! Out of the many we purchased??
We have zero dislikes and we totally love this machine in its class. We purchased other brands that didn’t last, this thing runs 24 hours a day in our home 7 days a week and the first One lasted us a little over 1 year and ib our opinion that’s awesome if we were to use it off and on during the day it would probably be still be working. Even towards the end it was still freezing partial ice but the machine had no quit. You might think I should last at least 5 years right but remember we’re running this thing 24 hours a day 7 days a week so we’re going to run this new one until it quits and hopefully they keep making this model I might even buy another one now to have it on hand…..

Worth the money and would definitely recommend.
The product arrived within 5 days. It was packed in 3 boxes and styrofoam, which helped “pad” it for the shipping process so it arrived without a scratch. I use distilled/purified drinking water as we have incredibly hard, mineral filled water that tastes funny. The ice comes out crystal clear and has zero taste to it. One fill of the machine (up to the fill line) makes enough ice to fill a gallon ziplock freezer bag. I make enough ice to fill a bag that I take from throughout the week, then empty the machine (you do have to “tilt” the machine back and forth to get any water that’s in the back of the unit out, but it’s easy to pull the drain plug on the bottom so you don’t have to flip it upside down) and store it on the counter with a towel slid under the lid so it can “breathe”, dry out and not get musty, while the towel prevents dust from floating into the opening. The machine seems to be a good quality, sturdy and incredibly easy to use. The noise level is minimal, the loudest part is the ice dumping into the tray and that lessens as more ice fills the tray (it’s not bouncing off the plastic basket as much.) I feel like it’s a reasonable price for the product you get. I’d highly recommend this product to anyone who asked!

Best counter top ice maker I have purchased
I see a lot of complaints about taste. I have not experienced that. This is the best counter top ice maker I have purchased (I’ve gone through about 5 or 6 before this one). It is super easy to use and clean. It holds more water and ice than any of the others. I have had mine for about 9 months now with no issues. It runs 24/7. The ice maker in our expensive Kitchen Aid refrigerator keeps breaking and these are much cheaper than repairing the built in one (which we did twice before switching). Plus, I love the ice. It is bullet style (hollow inside) and I love to chew on it. My juice goes into the holes and gives the ice flavor. I love it!

Only lasted 14 months
This is my second countertop ice maker. It seems like they only last about a year when used as your primary source of ice. My first one was completely different from this one in size and brand but they both had the same problem. The air compressor (I think that’s what it would be called 🤔)stops pushing hard enough to release the ice or the lift doesn’t go all the way forward to push the ice that did release into the bin and then it seems that the timing of the trough movement is off as well. I don’t know if the motor that moves the trough and lift just wears out or what but these appliances are too expensive to replace yearly. $100 max considering the lifespan. When it worked I loved it. Especially the cleaning cycle. So disappointed ☹️

Beautifully made and quiet
I love this ice maker!! I was a little concerned because of its size, for one person, I get super hot going through the changes is this icemaker has been a blessing. All the ice I need at my disposal. A bag them up and quarter bags and stick them in my freezers. It takes a lot longer in the beginning to make ice but, but once it’s set up it does make a lot of ice. The machine is heavier than I thought it would be.It feels like it is heavy as lifting a computer tower. Once unplugged ice last four hours only thing I wish it had was a on off switch. Once you finish making ice your only option is to either unplug it or tap the pause button. I would watch also, I found the instructions better to understand through YouTube videos then actually reading the instructions. The humming from the ice machine is low like the humming from a microwave very quiet.

Easy, Fast Ice
This ice machine, so far, is fantastic. I just had a water filtration system put in my mud room and so I put this in there to use the “good water”. The ice comes out clear! Best ice ever. One thing is that it doesn’t seem to really make 2 sizes. I made large ice cubes first because my refrigerator makes small ice that melts fast. I need larger cubes that keep things cold longer. However, I decided to try the small setting and see how small. Same size came out. I don’t care but someone else might.Read the full instructions before you make ice! It has to sit still for the refrigerant to settle for at least a couple of hours. If this lasts, it is a fabulous find.

Loving an Ice Maker
This was my second ice maker. The first was designed so that cleaning had a learning curve and the ice blocked the “full detector” quickly so you had to keep scraping it out of the way. I returned that disappointment and ordered this, and fell in love. A simpler, larger ice maker at a great price, this cranks it out, and is the easiest to clean I’ve seen. The only downside is that it’s louder than some–the fan and the clatter of ice falling in the larger compartment. I never turned mine off because I love heaps of ice in my beverages. So long as I kept water in it, it kept up with me. Easy recommend. Enjoy.

Great ice, super easy, just slightly wet
This ice maker has been a perfect solution for our household that has stopped us from making weekly trips to the corner convenience store for ice. We make a pot of ice tea a day and, combined with other demands, our fridge ice maker could never keep up. Not to mention the fridge ice maker has been repaired four times in seven years. This is the perfect solution. We just make enough to keep the backup bucket in the main freezer full and then turn it off for a day or so.The machine is very easy to use. Honestly, more of the manual is legal safety stuff. This thing could have a rating of age 5 and up. I’ve only found one very small issue with the machine overall. The ice comes out a bit wet. It doesn’t matter how quickly I grab it after it’s made. It means that when I dump it in the bucket in the big freezer it ends up freezing together. It’s not difficult though to take an ice pick to it and it breaks apart easily. It doesn’t bother me enough to lower the rating.

Great customer service
Had this for 7 months and just stopped working, kept saying to add water but wouldn’t run through machine. After troubleshooting I emailed the company since it was less than a year old. Within 24 hours the replied and asked for a video, 24 hours later after I submitted the video of it not working, they replied again with the shipment information. So it took a week from my first email to receiving a new ice maker. No charge. Very happy with everything.

Was looking for an ice maker, got what I was looking for
I like it so far. One thing I don’t is, the ice doesn’t freeze quite enough. By that I mean when it drops if you touch it it begins to melt right away. The other thing is the area the ice drops into is not cooled by anything other than the ice itself. So you really can’t fill the basket and leave it. It will slowly melt, refill the tank and cycle again. It’s only an ice maker, no way to store the ice inside the unit. Just know that when you transfer the ice to the freezer it will freeze together and you’ll have to break it up

Makes ice really fast
I like that this ice maker ice fast. I made the mistake of not checking the high of the ice maker and it is to high to go under my cabinets however that is my mistake not theirs. I love that it is self cleaning. My last one did not have this feature. If I had to say anything negative about it is that I can not find out how to turn the machine off. I have to unplug each day it each day to stop the machine. I am sure there is a way I just haven’t found which button to press. I would purchase this machine again and again.

So Much Ice!
This thing makes so much ice in little time. I do wish the “small” size was smaller since there is hardly a difference between it and the large size. The only real issue is that when the ice dumps into the basket, there will a lot of the time be one piece of ice that sticks up vertically and blocks the signal causing ice production to stop. When I check it after a couple of hours, there is one piece sticking up while everything in the half-filled basket has stuck together and is in the process of melting. I don’t regret the purchase though. It’s a beast.

It’s worth every penny and then some,
I guess you could say I’m an ice connoisseur. I have a cup of ice almost always. This is just as it advertises. Ice in six minutes starts out on the thin side till it really gets to the correct temperature. I like them for a quick crunch until they start really making good size ice cubes. I would say maybe the first three times it dumps are small/thinner but after that, they are perfect. It has a feature that I like also. If you forget to empty it, it will stop making ice. Once you dump the ice, it will go right back to making ice as long as the tank has water. I absolutely love it.

BUY THIS ICE MAKER!!
So Happy I purchased this Ice Maker. Makes nine beautiful ice bullets every nine minutes or less. The Ice is perfect size and last long time in your beverage. One basket will fill my refrigerator Ice container which no longer makes ice but will despense it fine.I recently returned another brand ice maker to Amazon because it quit after only two days. This one seems to be built much better. I’ve only been using it for less than a week but no issues so far. I think this is the one to get if you’re in the market.

Loud but works well
Works quickly to produce I e that is hollow in the middle. The small and large ice cubes seem to produce the same size. The ice stays very wet so when you transfer it to the freezer it clumps together. The machine is also quite loud- from sucking up the water to detaching the ice and scraping it into the bin. It has a self-cleaning feature and came with a cup to fill the reservoir and a scoop for the ice. I think it will be great to run for a day or two before a party and have plenty of ice.

Broke in less than 2 years
I bought this thing in 2021 I paid a lot more than what they are advertising it for however it has quit working. It will not hold water in the little tray for it to freeze the little motor that turns the thing must have quit working it makes them clicking noise and there is no easy way to get a hold of anyone to get replacement parts for it I paid over $215 for it in 2021 now they are advertising it lower than that however after having it two years I will not buy another one.

Broke in 15 months
Like a lot of other reviews I’ve read and paid no attention, this machine is built poorly.Sure, when working, the machine made good size ice and would spit out 8 cubes every 30 minutes. Great for the office. However, after 15 months, it just stopped working. The vendor and Amazon have not been responsive to my requests. I know things are more cheaply made today than they were in the past but 15 months is unacceptable.I will not buy a replacement as I’ve read several other reviews and should have heeded the warning.

We have run this ice maker non-stop for over 2 years without a problem
The ice machine is easy to use and reliable. We have run this machine non-stop for over two years without a problem. We have actually taken this ice machine on vacations with us. (My wife loves ice in her drinks.)
