Nikko Blue’ Hydrangea is a fast-growing shrub with large, rounded flower clusters that bloom in a rich, sky blue throughout the summer season. When planted in alkaline soils, blooms also take on purple and pinkish hues. This cold-hardy mophead variety grows and spreads to 6’ x 6’ and prefers a shade to part shade location. Not viable seeds
Do not buy these. I planted all of them under very controlled indoor conditions and not one germinated. They might as well have mailed me an empty packet. Would have saved me 2 weeks. Garbage.

I Have no luck with Hydrangea Seeds
I am not saying its the seeds, but I bought these and another from another seller and not one germinated. And this is coming from someone who lives in a temperate growing zone where most things flourish. I am a regular buyer of seeds on Amazon but this was a disappointment.

Only one of the seeds developed a plant.
I was excited to grow my own hydrangeas from seeds. After several preparation methods, types of soil, and many weeks of pampering these seeds only one plant has developed 3 leaves. The leaves are currently approximately 1/2 inch in size.
