This was the third rice cooker we tried. The other two burned the rice on the bottom. This one is great! Easy to set up and clean. We have used it a lot in the past few months.

  12. The pants did not fit. They were a little snug usually an extra large is big on me, so they must run small. The color is beautiful the material was nice. I just gave them to my friend.

    Wow. Amazing kitchen tool.

This thing is amazing. In the morning, I throw in some water, oatmeal, chopped apples, walnuts, go take a shower, and I have perfect oatmeal waiting for me. For dinner, rice, water, seasoning, some vegies in the basket, I just add some sauteed meat and the steamed vegies, and I’ve got awesome perfectly cooked stir fry. I love to steam shredded fresh potatoes, and make soft, cooked eggs for breakfast on the weekends. This thing is definitely worth having in your kitchen especially if you live alone and are cooking for one.

I gave four stars just because of the cover! It’s not detachable in order to clean and wash it. You have to carry the entire unit to the sink in order to make sure that the cover is clean

We love this thing! Rice never sticks (non stick material) and it’s super easy to clean. Heads up: it won’t display how much time remains on the cooking cycle

    Smaller than I thought

Works as it should but as someone else said and I did not believe them haha. It does not have an off button so you have to unplug if you do not want it on standby. It will be good for one, maaaaaybe 2 people. Looks super nice and sturdy.

    It’s ok…

I finally used this item, and I didn’t like the results at all. I put a cup of white long grain rice and two cups of water in the thing. The final result was mushy, sticky rice. So I guess I’ll try it again, maybe using slightly less water, and then see how that comes out.Secondly, if you’re not actually standing right next to the thing when it finishes cooking, you’re not going to hear the alarm. I was standing right next to the rice cooker and watched the last 5 minute countdown. When it stopped, I could barely hear it at all.

    Trusty little cooker

I cook for 2 and it’s the perfect size for us. It stores well and makes my rice just how I like it. It’s also nice that when I over-measured my water, I was able to steam for some additional time by hitting steam and + until it showed how many more minutes I wanted it to go for. It let me to do it 3 times but I think that’s the limit. It is easy to clean. I have no complaints!

    For my rice lovers!

I went searching for the answer to this question: How much water for rice? Because it wasn’t very clear. When I make rice I always use double water. So if i make 2 cups of rice I use 4 cups of water. Perfect every time! I recommend you WASH YOUR RICE like Mulan man tells us on TikTok. If you wash the rice properly then it doesn’t have starchy water coming out of the vent at the top. I love that it keeps the rice warm after it’s cooked as well. It stays fresh all day! Love this so much.

Has the functions I wanted, but some auto functions may not work as well for others.

I have a Zojirushi rice cooker, but I wanted a rice cooker with a sauté function which the Zojirushi doesn’t have. I had bought another brand with the sauté function, but it was a sauté/simmer function which meant the unit would sauté until liquid was added and it would automatically switch to the simmer function. For some recipes, this doesn’t work. I tried cooking 2 cups of steel cut oats in this cooker, and it boiled to the top leaving dried oatmeal on the top of the cooker as well as clogging up the steam release. I returned this cooker and decided to try this Comfee’ Rice Cooker.I have had this rice cooker only a couple of days, but, so far, I am happy with the results. So far, I have made steel cut oats that I make in quantity for my husband and I to warm for breakfast. I put steel cut oats, water, cinnamon, brown sugar, and a little vanilla in the pot. The cereal came out perfect using the brown rice setting. I will explain later in this review why I chose the brown rice setting. Tonight, I made brown rice pilaf. I used the sauté setting, melted butter, added and sautéed the onions, added brown basmati rice and garlic, added beef stock and seasonings, and chose the brown rice setting. The rice was perfectly cooked and fluffy. Even though the unit was on keep warm for 45 minutes, the rice was not crusted or burned on the bottom. With my Zojirushi rice cooker, I have to remove the pot from the cooker as soon as the rice is done or the rice at the bottom of the cooker is crusty.Although this rice cooker comes with only a basic pamphlet of user instructions, you can download a more comprehensive manual that includes few recipes. The following is a description of the cooker controls, what can be done with each, and how they can be used.COOKER CONTROLS: – STOP/KEEP WARM Press the Stop/Keep Warm button to stop the cooking process and to keep cooked food warm – ON/OFF/START Press the On/Off/Start button to turn the cooker on or off and to start the cooking process – DELAY TIMER Press the Delay Timer button to delay the start of the cooking process for up to 24 hours. Use the + and – buttons to adjust the length of time. – “-” Decrease time or temperature – “+” Increase time or temperature – TEMP Press the temp button to raise or lower the temperature, and then press “+” or “-” to adjust temperature. Can be used only with Sauté and DIY cooking functions. – TIME Press the Time button to adjust the cooking time, and then press “+” or “-” to adjust cooking time. Can be used with the Slow Cook, Oatmeal, Chili, Pasta, Soup, Stew, Steam, Sauté, and DIY cooking functions. As for the cooking programs, I’m not sure that all of them would be useful as temperatures are not stated for any of them. – The 3 rice setting are pretty basic, Quick Rice cooks white rice in a shorter amount of time, White Rice cooks white and short grain rice, and Brown Rice cooks brown rice and long grained rice. – The Oatmeal function cooks traditional rolled oats and can use the delay timer to have oatmeal ready for breakfast. For steel cut oats, I used the Brown Rice setting that has the longer cook time required for steel cut oats. – Soup, Soup, and Stew functions provide a simmer at a low temperature, but the temperatures are not stated. – The Slow Cook function does not allow Hi and Low slow cooking. The temperature is set at 300 degrees that is equivalent to the Hi temperature on slow cookers. If you want to slow cook on a low temperature you could set the temperature to 190 degrees on the DIY function. – For the Sauté function, you have control over both time and temperature. This is one of my favorite features as it works to sauté onions and garlic for rice pilaf and risotto as well as for browning meats used in soups and stews. – For the Steam function, you have control over the time which is really all you need for steaming. – To change the cooking function or the time and temperature, press “stop” and then select the function, and time and temperature. I have pressure cookers and other multicookers that have multiple preprogrammed functions, and, honestly, I don’t use them most of the time. For some foods, I think a slow simmer produces a better result than cooking with a pressure cooker. My primary purpose in buying this rice cooker was to have the sauté function for making rice pilaf and risotto. Happily, I have now found that this rice cooker does a better job of cooking rice than the expensive Zojirushi rice cooker I have. After hours of research and reading reviews, I have finally found a rice cooker that works for me. For me, use of this rice cooker is not complicated at all. It’s pretty straight forward once you know how to operate it. The downloaded manual does help, but some of the operation is learned by trial and error.UPDATE 7/11/22:For those of you who like steel cut oats, which my husband and I prefer over rolled oats, this is my recipe for steel cut oats cooked in this rice cooker. This make 1 1/2 quarts that lasts my husband and I 4-5 days. – 1 1/2 cups steel cut oats – 4 cups water – 1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract – 1 tsp. cinnamon – 1 tbsp. brown sugar (I use coconut palm sugar) – 1/4 cup or more raisinsPlace everything in the rice cooker pot, stir, turn cooker on, select brown rice function, press start. To warm the oats for breakfast, put desired portion in a bowl, add a little milk, and microwave for about 1 minute on high. What could be easier?? I have used this rice cooker multiple times since I bought it, and, so far, I am very happy with it.UPDATE 09/30/2022:As mentioned previously, I have never been a fan of rolled oats. To me, cooked rolled oats always tasted pasty. My husband likes them so I made a batch for his breakfasts. I added all ingredients to the pot and used the oatmeal setting. Ingredients I used were: – 3 1/2 cups water – 2 cups rolled oats – 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract – 1 tsp. cinnamon – 1 tbsp. brown sugar (I used coconut palm sugar) – 1/4 cup raisins or more as desiredIt looked pretty good and tonight I decided to try it. I spooned some into a bowl, broke it up into smaller pieces, and added some milk. Then I warmed it in the microwave for one minute. WOW!! It was really good!! I guess it make a difference on how it is cooked. I will definitely be making rolled oats for breakfasts again.UPDATE 01/13/24:I have had this rice cooker for almost 2 year, and I still love it. I have experimented with a couple foods, and have come up with a couple of new recipes that come out perfect with this rice cooker. I have added cream of wheat to my husband’s choices of breakfast cereal. This recipe is basically the same as the the rolled oats recipe mentioned previously except the water to cereal proportions. For cream of wheat, use 4 1/2 cups of water to 1 cup of farina.I now make our rice pilaf in this rice cooker. I use brown rice for the health value, but white rice can also be used. The only difference would be to select the white rice setting for white rice. You can also add vermicelli to this rice pilaf and need only to brown the vermicelli in butter before adding it to the other ingredients. I do this in the microwave, but it can also be done in the rice cooker. This rice pilaf make about 18 4 oz. servings. It freezes well and can be thawed and warmed in the microwave. This is the recipe for rice pilaf in this rice cooker. – 6 tbsp. butter – 1 large onion, diced – 3 cups long grain brown rice or brown basmati rice – 6 cloves garlic, finely minced – 2 tsp. fresh rosemary minced or 2/3 tsp. dried and finely chopped – 1 1/2 tsp. fresh thyme leaves or 1/2 tsp dried – 1 1/2 tsp Kosher salt or 1/2 tsp. table salt – 1/2 tsp. pepper – 6 cups chicken, homemade, or vegetable broth – 2 tsp. lemon juice, fresh or bottled – 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce – 2-4 large bay leaves – 3/4 tsp. paprika – 4 tbsp. fresh parsley, finely chopped – 4 tbsp. shredded carrot1 – Heat rice cooker in sauté mode. When hot melt the butter.2 – Add onion to the pot and sauté until translucent.3 – Add the rice and cook, stirring constantly, until all of the rice is coated in butter.4 – Add the garlic and cook, stirring constantly, until fragrant.5 – Add rosemary, thyme, salt, pepper, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, bay leaves, and broth.6 – Close the pot and select the brown rice setting (white rice setting if using white rice).7 – After the cooking has completed, fluff the rice with an fork, add chopped parsley and carrot, and stir8 – Let sit a couple of minutes and serve.I freeze this rice pilaf in 8 ounce packages for two of us, and serve it with brochettes, fish filets, pepper steak, and so much more.I hope this review was helpful for you. I will update this review if my opinion changes.

    Good choice

I returned a much more expensive and complicated rice maker for this and I’m so glad I did. We prepare rice often. Every time it’s turned out perfect and not scorched on the bottom or too soft and over cooked. I recommend this over some the more expensive rice makers simply for the ease of use and results are spot on!

    Works as advertised

Since my wife and I started meal prepping we noticed that most of our meals contain rice. So this rice cooker was exactly what we needed. It cooks rice perfectly to taste and it does it quickly. The easy controls allow you to add rice, add water, close the lid and hit start. It’s that simple. If you need to, you can change the cook times however, since we only use it for rice, there is a button for white rice or brown rice. We hit white rice and wait for it to be done. I cannot stress how great a machine this is. The quality is superb and it’s very easy to clean. Wonderful cooking instrument.

From Rice Disaster to Rice Master

Oh boy, where do I even begin with my experience using the COMFEE’ Rice Cooker? Let me start by saying that I am not the most skilled cook in the world, and my history with rice has been nothing short of disastrous. But this multi-functional marvel changed everything!First off, the name itself is a mouthful, but hey, it does it all! Rice cooker, steamer, stewpot, and even a sauté pan. It’s like having a mini-kitchen on your countertop. I was skeptical at first, but the 12 digital cooking programs won me over. One thing that caught my attention was the large capacity. With a 10-cup uncooked rice capacity (which means more than enough for a hungry family), this bad boy is perfect for gatherings and parties. No more fighting over that last scoop of rice! The 24-hour preset feature is a game-changer. Picture this: I wake up in the morning, put in the rice and water, set the timer, and voila! By the time I get back from work, a steaming pot of perfectly cooked rice awaits me. It’s like having a personal chef who always knows when you’re hungry. Now, let me get to the funny part. On my first attempt, I forgot to add water to the rice, resulting in a burnt and stuck-to-the-bottom disaster. But the COMFEE’ Rice Cooker saved the day! Its non-stick inner pot made cleaning up a breeze, and it still had a sense of humor, as if saying, “Don’t worry, we all make mistakes!”I have to admit, though, that the instructions were a bit confusing at first. It took me a few tries to figure out the right water-to-rice ratio for different types of rice. But hey, who needs perfection when you have fluffy, edible rice? And let me tell you about the sauté feature of this rice cooker! It’s like having a mini stir-fry station right on your kitchen counter. I’ve experimented with various recipes, from delicious garlic shrimp to flavorful beef and broccoli. The high heat and even cooking of the COMFEE’ Rice Cooker’s sauté function have truly impressed me.One feature that I particularly appreciate is the durable construction of this appliance. It feels solid and well-made, which gives me confidence that it will last for a long time. The control panel is user-friendly, with clearly labeled buttons and a bright digital display. It’s easy to navigate through the different cooking programs and adjust settings to suit your preferences.Another aspect that deserves praise is the safety features of the COMFEE’ Rice Cooker. It has a reliable lid-locking mechanism that prevents any accidental spills or burns. Plus, the automatic keep-warm function ensures that your rice stays warm and fresh for hours without overcooking.I have to mention the size of this multi cooker as well. With a 5.2-quart capacity, it’s perfect for medium to large-sized families or those who enjoy entertaining guests. It can handle a substantial amount of food without any issues. Now, let’s talk about a minor drawback. While the COMFEE’ Rice Cooker performs admirably in its main functions, I found that the steaming feature could use some improvement. It takes a bit longer than expected to steam vegetables or dumplings. However, considering the versatility and overall performance of this appliance, it’s a minor inconvenience.Update:I wanted to provide a quick update on my experience with the COMFEE’ Rice Cooker. Since writing my initial review, I have discovered a few additional features that have further impressed me.One standout feature is the delay timer function. This allows me to set a specific time for the rice cooker to start cooking, even if I’m not around. It’s incredibly convenient, especially when I have a busy schedule or want to have a warm meal ready for when I return home.Additionally, the versatility of the COMFEE’ Rice Cooker continues to surprise me. I recently tried using it to make yogurt, and the results were outstanding. The precise temperature control and consistent heat distribution allowed me to achieve a creamy and delicious homemade yogurt without any hassle.Furthermore, I have to commend the customer support provided by COMFEE’. I had a minor issue with the rice cooker, and their responsive and helpful team guided me through the troubleshooting process. They were patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in ensuring my satisfaction with their product. Now, let’s address the elephant in the room – the noise level. While the COMFEE’ Rice Cooker performs exceptionally well in terms of cooking capabilities, it can be a bit noisy during operation. It’s not a deal-breaker by any means, but it’s worth mentioning for those who are sensitive to noise or prefer a quieter cooking experience. In terms of durability, the COMFEE’ Rice Cooker has held up remarkably well. Despite regular use and occasionally clumsy handling, it has maintained its functionality and continues to deliver consistent results. I have confidence that it will remain a reliable kitchen companion for years to come. All in all, the COMFEE’ Rice Cooker has become an essential part of my kitchen. It has turned my rice disasters into rice masterpieces. I even got creative and tried making steamed vegetables and stews, and they turned out fantastic. It’s a versatile and reliable kitchen companion that has earned its place in my heart (and on my countertop). So, if you’re looking for a rice cooker that can do it all, has a sense of humor, and forgives your kitchen mishaps, give the COMFEE’ Rice Cooker a shot. Just be ready for a few laughs and some seriously delicious meals!

    Absolutely Perfect

I have absolutely no complaints about this little rice cooker. It works just as described and the rice is perfect every time. I’ve used white, parboiled, and brown rice in it. Just follow the directions and let it do its thing. You’ll end up with perfect rice every single time with no issues.

    Rice to water ratio

Took me a hot minute to figure out the rice to water thing but it’s been smooth sailing since.1 of their cup to first water line.I’ve used it multiple times a week since I got it last month. As a rice cooker and a slow cooker.Clean up is easy.Absolutely worth the purchase.

    Perfect rice

I fixed white rice and it was good, but a little drier than was used to. Then I added little extra water and it was perfect. I also like yellow rice which is white rice with spices. I decided to try this in the cooker. I added extra water and stirred the spices to break up spice clunks. It turned out great. I have not tried any of the other features, but it definitely cooks rice well.

    It works!

It has been roughly four months since my purchase of this rice cooker and it has worked well for me. I’ve only used it to cook white rice, so I haven’t tested the other features.I had my setbacks initially because there were a lot of complaints about the water boiling out through the steam vent. However, as you can see my review is positive so that has not occurred to me.What you see on there is the count up timer after the rice is done. It keeps it warm and tells you how long since it’s finished cooking. My only complaint is that when the rice is being kept warm the bottom part cooks a little more so I tend to unplug it.

    Learned a valuable lesson

I ordered this Comfee appliance a couple of years ago and then I got caught up in the Ninja Foodi craze and looked for every excuse to ditch the Comfee rice cooker. What a stupid move. I emptied my wallet for an expensive air fryer because that’s all I ended up using the Ninja Foodi for. I didn’t use the majority of the Ninja options because they didn’t fit our life style. When I got a notification that this little guy was on sale I jumped at the chance and ordered another one. It has all the options that I will use and used before when I had comfee rice cooker. I’m excited about owning one again and will stop following the Ninja Foodi craze. By the way, after dumping $200 on the Ninja Foodi it barely lasted 2 years before it stopped working.

    I Love It

I was looking for a rice cooker and luckily Amazon recommended this product. You can make any meal you can think of with this and the food comes out perfect. You can make any type of rice you think of, soups, stews, beans, lentils, and a host of other delicious meals. And for the price you can’t beat it.

    Awesome for Oatmeal.

Perfect for as little as 1 small batch of Oatmeal. 1/2 cup oatmeal 1 cup water and a small handful of raisins. (Add a little more water) Cooks much larger multiple batches and other grains. One of my best Amazon buys.

what is missing from the instructions

For cooking rice this thing is the bomb! What is missing from the instructions is “how much water do you put in during steam mode” and for how long. This information is missing, you just have to guess.
