This electric nail trimmer is a great product when you have a baby like mine who cannot stop moving his arms. You won’t be able to hurt him with this trimmer. However, it takes time to do each nails.

Great for newborns
The item is great and very easy to use. Amazing for newborns. Just slowly move the spinner feathering as much as possible for best results. Also, better to do this whilst your baby is asleep.I have added a few photos of the product and of my baby’s nails after use on both hands. I doubt you can achieve that with a clipper. I wouldn’t even risk it, don’t want to hurt my baby by mistake.My only negative is that you can’t purchase individual filing pads. As we have twins I would love to buy a set of 4 (0 to 3 months) pads. I doubt that once they get to 12 months or older I will still use it, probably better to start using the nail clippers at that stage, but we’ll see.

Great baby nail file
I really like this nail file. It’s gentle on baby skin and not too noisy. It could have been nice if it had a light. I trim his nails after the feed and at night it’s hard to do this without extra light

Cute but not for me and my baby
Mine arrived in perfect working condition, encased in a cute packaging and the tool itself looked neat and cute too! my baby happens to scratch himself often when he gets frustrated or tired. I used a nail clipper before and got scared when i saw one of his fingers became red and swollen because of an ingrown. Thankfully that resolved but I didn’t want it to happen again so I resorted to buying an electric file. Unfortunately, I found it difficult to uniformly trim my baby’s nails using this. To my surprise, he still ended up with scratches on his face which I guess were due to crooked nails. My husband and I noticed that they became sharper as well. Maybe i just don’t know how to use it properly. Too bad though because i really found it amusing at first. It also wakes my baby up so I couldn’t properly trim his nails with it whether he’s awake or asleep.

Useful little item
As a first time mother this has been an absolute life saver! I always struggled to cut my newborns nails especially the sharp corners and had to constantly leave mittens on. I now use this on a daily basis, it makes very minimal noise so baby doesn’t get scared from it and it’s safe to use. Only thing I would say is if baby has very long nails then to trim it down a little shorter with a nail clipper then using this to finish off to get a better result.

it’s easy to use but it needs getting used to or else you will end up a baby with sharp nails. it’s quite convenient as well since you can do it while baby is sleeping as he/she won’t even wake up! truly, one of my favourite baby tools in my mommy arsenal!however, i couldn’t find any available replacement pads that are based in uk, but i do hope it’ll be available soon. also, i only receive 3 out of 4 pads in the pack (such a shame since i really like the product!)

Excellent. It makes keeping baby nails short easy
It is so easy to use, safe and does a much better job than manual files.Prior to purchasing this I had tried a flat baby nail file and one that you can put on your thumb. I found both hard to use due to the length of time they took to work with a wriggling baby and that it was hard to file evenly and it often led to sharp ends. This nail file however is easy to use and gets the job done quickly.The pack comes in a nice carry case and has diffent attachable files for different ages.The files are soft enough that they will not damage skin and just gently file the nails back. I can do the babies nails in minutes and it is so much easier than before. I would fully recommend buying this type of file and not bothering with the others as the end result is so much better.It takes batteries (AAA) but I have not had to change them yet so I don’t think it uses much power.

It’s so much easier to file our sons nails with this! He doesn’t wake (except when we are apparently tickling his feet while trying to do toe nails) it stops when/if your touching skin, it’s very quiet, very good quality and definitely value for money.

I won’t “ops” again.
I was able to cut my 8 week old nails on several occasions all fine and dandy. Then one day I cut her nails and ops! Cut the skin 😔 she cried for 30 seconds I cried for hours. I felt awful and it turns out most parents have done the same at some point in their life. I now refuse to use cutters and brought this file. Its fantastic.its soft. Quiet and gentle. I’ve told so many friends about it and said it’s worth every penny. An idea on how soft it is, I brushed the file against my gel polish and it didn’t remove it or scratch it! I will need to get some refill pads as I have to do my little ladies nails twice a week else she scratches her face. A wonderful buy thank you!

A handy tool
I do like this product its easy to use and quick. The only downfall is because the filer is circular getting to the sides of babies nails is difficult meaning they sometimes have little sharp edges which I need to manually file down. if the filer was angled it would help with this massively

Everyone needs this!
I bought this after an incident cutting my baby’s nails where I caught the skin and made it bleed. It was traumatic for both of us and I needed a way to stop it from happening again!This device has been a godsend and we don’t worry about that occurring again. She also doesn’t seem to mind us using it on her. She will quite happily let me take her hand (she’s almost 6 months and we got it when she was 3 months) and file her nails and always has done whereas she would cry and fight me on the clippers which is how “the incident” occurred.There are also different pads with different intensities based on your baby’s age and the thickness of their nails.The only thing I would say to be wary of is this: the first time I used this I was super nervous after the nail clipper incident and I used it at an angle to avoid touching her skin. This inadvertently sharpened her nails in to points and then she scratched herself. Make sure you use this flat across the top of the nail so that you don’t do the same. It won’t hurt them if the file touches the skin.

Bad value for money! No spare’s availableContacted customer service twice now and they refuse to admit the spares are discontinued!But still selling the file & set on Amazon to poor customers who won’t also be able to use after 12+ months or when the only one orange file wears out!Shame on you cherish! 🤦🏼🥵

Great Product
Good quality product. Nice packaging. Clear instructions. Comes in a good case.I found it easy to use and file my 3 month old baby’s nails. The different nail files are clearly marked to tell you which colour nail file corresponds to the right age baby. Also the pad stops spinning when it touches baby’s skin, so there is no fear of hurting or rubbing your baby’s fingers. It is tricky to file the corners of the nails. However, after panicking previously every time I had to use nail clippers on my baby, this little issue was not a bug deal. This product takes all the fear away and is super easy to use. I highly recommend this product.

Simple solutions are the best
Wish I had known about this sooner.After struggling for 11 months trying to cut our sons nails, I have used this for the first time today and it turned into a game and my son loved the sensation and started laughing.The four pads are of much better quality than I thought and I love how quiet it is. The case is not too big and functions as a case should. I think I will need some replacement pads after a few months but that should be easy to sort out.Top marks for a top product !!PS, it’s not bad at filing down adult nails as well 😂

Great to start but motor dies pretty quickly
I loved this product when I first bought it but after a couple of months the motor became really weak which made it take minutes to file a single nail. Top end battery replacements did nothing. I emailed the company to complain but got no response.

Must buy product for newborns
My partner and I have a newborn so this product was a sensible buy as we often used the scratch mittens to avoid him scraping his face with his nails. Once a couple of weeks old we decided to buy this and it works wonders for him. A must buy and clearly a good safe product as he didn’t even flinch when we were using the product to trim his nails. It’s great that they are diff sizes for each age.

Not sure if battery life is good
I have used this product once and I’m not sure if this has been left on as it’s so quiet, as within a week the battery which is a single AA had been used. I have put in another battery and will check in a week. Again I stress I may have left this on in error. Everything else with the product is faultless. Will update in a week

So easy to use
Great filer for babies. It a lot safer than using nail clipper as you don’t have to worry about cutting to close or hurting the baby. Plus makes the nail so smooth no worry about sharp edges causing scratches on babies face. It also has 4 attachments with different grade of roughness to grow with your baby. I brought a set of 0-12 months spares attachments but to be honest I think you can get away using the attachment supplied in the box and after 12 months get spares just for 12months +

Great, in theory…
So, I wanted to love this in theory because my baby is super fidgety so cutting her nails are always a bit stressful. The problem is this takes twice as long and doesn’t really get her nails short enough – so I’ve now resorted to cutting them with nail scissors and then using this to file them down on top. So yes it absolutely works but not as a replacement for nail scissors for me

Breaks after 4 months
After multiple incidents with nail files and clippers involving blood and tears, I had finally given up on my baby’s nails. But soon she started scratching herself and I forced to find a solution. This nail file is a dream – it’s great to file away nails while causing no hurt or discomfort to the baby. It’s not particularly quiet but no so loud as to startle the baby. I love that the pads are the perfect balance between rough (to file nails) and soft (no harm to skin).BUT BUT BUT it stopped working after four months. Was good while it lasted.

We always used to use nail clippers to cut our baby’s nails but it was always a stressful time for both us and baby. Then we found this. We were sceptical at first because it sounded too good to be true but we quickly realised how good it actually was. Buy this if you’ve had issues cutting your babies nails
I just used this for the first time today and I immediately have gone to write this review as soon as my 3.5 month baby was asleep. I’ve been struggling to cut and then file my baby’s nails, I usually did it when he was swaddled or asleep, but it was always so difficult. In the end they grew back so quickly and he had bloody scratches all over his face.In the end I decided to go for this one over other generic electric files, as it was advertised as whisper quiet.After using it just once, I’m sold. It took me less than 2 minutes to do all his nails (on his hands) and they’re perfect and smooth, no sharpness or rough edges. He didn’t even notice it as it was so quiet and quick.I really regret not buying this sooner as it would have meant less scratches for him and less hassle for me.My only concern is that I don’t know how long the pads will last. But that would definitely not put me off.If you’re hesitating about whether it’s worth it and whether it will make a difference, then I would recommend you buy it.

Gone are the days of fighting to hold their tint fingers to cut their nails with a nail clipper, this file is so easy to use and baby doesn’t even realise what’s happening 🙃 in fact baby is rather fascinated but the device and sits still to have nails done. Makes cutting baby nails simple
Love the ease and safety of this device. Our newborn was scratching her face and hated having her nails cut with standard baby clippers. This device is silent, can’t even hear a murmer so baby isn’t disturbed at all during her nail trim. Even if she pulls her hand away, the low speed abrasive pad doesn’t hurt her at all but is efficient at trimming her nails. This is a fantastic product, we love it. Battery life is also very good!

Wish I had found this sooner. After two accidental knicks while cutting my 3mo nails I hated trimming his nails, this is a game changer. Still needs distraction to sit still but can shorten and smooth nails twice as fast and so quiet. This will be my new go to baby shower gift for family and friends.

Safely smooth your baby’s nails with this product.
I don’t know how I’ve survived without this product. It’s been dangerous at times trying to cut baby’s nails with baby scissors, I was doing it when she was asleep but then she became aware of that and was waking up and cutting naps too short so I had to stop. I always managed to cut them, but not good, with the scissors being straight and baby moving hands, the scissors would leave sharp and jaggered edges so when baby scratches you, it hurt a lot and baby had scratches on her face too – which I felt very guilty about and tried to cut her nails again but then made them too short which was worse coz then she was in pain. I had to look for something else. I’ve only used it once on the 3-6month, it was over in minutes, I was able to keep baby still long enough, there is next to no sound, and no jaggered edges, no sharpness and baby’s nails are kept short and clean but not painfully short and most importantly smooth. Thank you so much for this product. Highly recommend.
