Light and useful
It does what it needs. I don’t know if I would say it’s great for commercial use but it is still certainly worth the money.

Dog scratched hardwood
Purchased this to tackle some light surface dog scratching on our dark red/ brown hardwood floors. Some reviews complained about it being lightweight or that they had to go slow with it. Neither of these were an issue for me since I was only doing our main living area. It buffed out all of the pesky surface scratches and didn’t do anything for the deeper ones as expected. Perfect for what I need it for and under $100

Works well but motor overheats
I was the dummy who continued to mop her laminate wood floors with Mop N Glo. I realized too late that my floors were no longer getting clean and had dirt embedded in the waxy film. I was on my hands and knees scrubbing the wax off the floor and after about 20 hours I hadn’t even made it out of the kitchen. So I bought this to help speed up the process. It did the job and it was easier on my back but it still took multiple times to get the wax off. And all of that would be okay if the motor wouldn’t overheat after 4-5 minutes of use. The first day I didn’t have an issue but I was doing a hall so I had to do small sections at a time. The next day it was extremely frustrating waiting on my machine to work again. Scrub 4 minutes, wait 30. It took 13 hours to do our living room and most of that was spent waiting on the machine. In hindsight, I probably should have hired some professionals with a better machine to strip the wax off my floor. I’m not necessarily sorry I bought it and I realize it’s not a high end machine but I was disappointed that it overheated so quickly.

Better than getting on my hands and knees and scrubbing the floor myself
I purchase this Bissell Big Green “Commercial” floor scrubbing machine as part of an open-box Amazon Warehouse deal. Box arrive in pretty bad shape, but looks like all the parts arrived in it, at least all the parts I cared about.PROSMachine was pretty straight forward to put together, didn’t need the instruction manual at all for assembly. Machine is also quite light weight, so getting out of the box and assembled was an effortless task. I opted for the tank-less one because I use to have the old one with the tank, and I wasn’t impressed with it back then, and didn’t see the need to spend more $$$ for the tank version.. Simple spray bottle with cleaning solution was all that I needed.CONS- I used it this morning to give the tiles around the house a good scrubbing, and for the most part, the machine did a decent enough job scrubbing the floor. I say for the most part, because the machine being light weight, there’s wasn’t a lot of download pressure being applying on the scrubbing brushes during operation. This resulted in the machine taking a bit longer to clean up an extra dirty spot.- Brushes did a decent job on flat surfaces, but struggled to get in between the tiles and clean the grout. I didn’t expect the machine to do it in the first place, but I was secretly hoping that it might. That’s not to say it didn’t clean some of the grout, but the ones it was able to reach, were sections in the tile floor where the grout was more flushed with the surface.- There’s review on here that comments on the machines longevity, I’ll try to remember to update this post if something to it in the next couple months. The old Bissell scrubber I had years ago lasted about 2 years before it went kerplunk, we’ll see how long this one will last.Overall, I’m happy with my purchase as the floor needed a good scrubbing and I didn’t want to get on my hands and knees to do the work myself. It’s not a true commercial floor scrubber, but it still decent enough that I would recommend it to others with similar needs.

Best purchase in years!
Best purchase I made in years. I have three small dogs and one is a potty training puppy Pug. By the end of the week our hardwood floors are disgusting and the house smells like crap and pee although we cleanup the accidents. I spend about four hours hand cleaning and polishing the floors every week. It sucks.I purchased the Bissell Commercial BigGreen BGFS650 Hercules Scrub and Clean Floor Machine, and it’s going to change my life. I used it on my floors tonight and it took a third of the time and the floors are cleaner than they have been in years. Not only does it clean but it can also polish the floors. If you have hardwood floors you need this machine, even if you don’t have dogs. Here is the link. You can thank me later.Bissell Commercial BigGreen BGFS650 Hercules Scrub and Clean Floor Machine, Green

Did better than expected, though switch-gave out after a few months.
First: I had very low expectations for this machine. It’s meant as a light-duty home unit and I’m using it in a commercial setting to scrub our tile floors 1/wk. I figured it would last a couple of weeks but, for the price, I could learn about floor scrubbers and be better informed when buying the next one.Ok: It held up admirably — I was impressed! I mean, it’s not a big, commercial floor scrubber, but it did the job, nicely. It’s a little noisy, and I kept waiting for the [squealing] motor to fail — which it never did — but, eventually, the handle-activated on-off-switch stopped working. I imagine it’s rusted in place, gummed-up by floor-soap/grit/what-have you. A tad frustrating, as I can’t figure out how to get it apart to try to WD-40 (or whatever) it to clean/replace the switch.Other than that, It’s a decent unit. Heck, at under-$100, it almost makes sense to just buy a new one every 6 months and throw the old one away, though that feels wasteful, given that it’s 92% working (not counting the @#$% switch! : )UPDATE: the switch is covered under warranty; Bissel has offered to exchange the unit.

Highly recommend!
We have old dried out wood floors that probably wouldn’t have been a candidate for sanding and refinishing, floor wax and two or three buffing sessions have brought them back to life! Also great for new bathroom tiled floor to polish them up with vinegar solution before sealing. Easy to use and easy to move around and store. Great product! Highly recommend.

smaller cleaning area than expected
I purchased this specifically to scrub the tile. My tile floor is rustic and has deeper grout lines. The brushes don’t seem to be long enough and float over the grout lines and don’t seem to clean them. The scrubbing action from the brushes isn’t great either. It comes with a warning not to put extra pressure on the machine so I suspect I am not the only one tempted to do that. I don’t like not being able to see where the brushes are when I’m trying to target an area. Also the profile is too high to go under the cabinets so I have to clean that area separately. It was the closest I could find to replace what I had in the past. Bissell is good quality so I suspect I will be using it for quite a wile.

Totally uncontrollable machine
I couldn’t give it less than one star or I would haveThis machine is going back. I used for at least 20 extremely frustrating minutes to oil a floor until it over heated and wouldn’t turn back on. Despite what the directions tell you, you will not be able to walk a zig zag pattern with a 1meter by 1 meter square. It won’t happen. This machine generally wants to go wherever it puts its mind to it. You can try keeping it level but it will sneak away on you and smack into the wall. Also bc its so light and has a tendency to fire off in arbitrary directions (mostly to the left) it will also spray the oil that you are trying to apply to the floor all over the wall.Do not buy this. I would not wish this machine on people that I don’t like.In all seriousness, I get what Bissell was trying to accomplish. I ended up putting this back in the box, running to the big box hardware store and renting a 20″ floor finisher/waxer and using that for the second coat after the little Bissell that couldn’t failed me 1/10th of the way thru the first coat so I had to apply by hand. The big machine weighs a ton, can be equally hard to control, but also bc it has significant weight it’s easier to find that sweet spot balance point so it doesn’t spin around you in some crazy death dance. So please, until Bissell turns down the power or adds some weights, or something, don’t buy this machine. It’s low price and compact cuteness will just disappoint you

Betterthan scrubing by hand.. BUT Scum Buster did just as well when I bent over.
I have a Bissel carpet shampooer, spot cleaner, and vacuum cleaner. This by far is a most disappointing and poorly made product. I bent over and used my OLD Blacken Decker Scrum Scrubber as much as this new purchase on the project we were doing! I should send it back used, but that’s not my nature! 1. Doesn’t even have an on /off switch. 2. Bristles are not long enough. 3. I’m 5’2″ but the handle is too short. 4. Poor design on attachments (no way to use universal parts, or even those of higher priced Bissell products).

It’s just ok…
This is an interesting machine. I have a Bissell Spinwave that I absolutely LOVE and recommend, but I needed something that would scrub my dirtier tile floors with stuck on food and stains. This one caught my eye because of the scrub brush attachments. I don’t use it commercially, so I can’t speak to its durability in that setting, but I can say that this is marketed for home use under another brand called Eubank, lol, (which is also available on Amazon), so I suspect this is more for home use or commercial “housekeeping”cleaners vs large hospital-sized cleaning. The main reason I say that is the tiny pads. They’re a third of the size of Spinwave. It would take you forever to clean a large building, and probably even a large home for that matter.I have all hard floors at home, so I like these types of machines. My first test was applying my floor finish after mopping. I was underwhelmed. Usually, I use my Spinwave and it’s fantastic. This one required me to use more product (which is not good) and left wheel tracks as I moved from row to row on the floor. The Spinwave doesn’t do that, it doesn’t have wheels at all, so no tracks in my finish. :)I’m going to only use this for cleaning and scrubbing my tile floors going forward, like I originally planned, not for floor finishes. I also dislike not having a power button. When I try to turn it off by raising and locking the handle, whatever part of the floor it’s on at that moment gets messed up while I’m fumbling around trying to get it to stop. None of these are issues with the Spinwave. I don’t recommend this unless you need it for the deep clean brush option. Spinwave is better for general home use cleaning and applying finishes. It’s also much more user friendly. I wish they’d make a commercial model of Spinwave with the brush attachment. Oh la la.

Not commercial grade, but perfect for what we needed!
We have a large deck in NH that doesn’t get much sun, so we get a lot of green on it. we scrubbed on our hands and knees, but that was nuts. so we used the nubby pads and some Clorox cleaner. Worked like a charm. We will do it every year now instead of waiting!!!

It does its job but you are cleaning in the same spot for a long time. I would apply a liquid grease cleaner and machine over it and it took a long time to clean it but it still better than using elbow grease

It’s good for what it is…
It’s good for what it is, expected the base to have more weight to it so that the brushes would REALLY scrub the floors, but it’s not. It’s easy to use and put together. The brushes are a little tricky to switch out, feels like it might break but overall, I’m happy with my purchase.

Game changer!
I opened my box this evening and was cleaning my tile in 5.minutes. All I can say is WOW!!! This little guy is perfect for my use (big house all very light-colored tile downstairs) steam cleaning wasn’t doing the job I needed, as the floors looked dull and the steam was just pushing the dirt into the texture of the tile. Now they looks great! I’ll do this once a month and steam in between. Thanks!!!

Perfect for My Needs
Works great for me. I have vinyl and laminate flooring in my townhouse. I have a Bissell Spin Wave but I wanted something that actually scrubbed the floors, brush type heads, which the Spin Wave does not. This fits the purpose perfectly. It’s lightweight but heavy enough that it keeps great contact with the floor surface during cleaning. Handle folds out to two handles if you require more control. I squirted a little Dawn mixed with lots of water on the floor as a simple cleaning solution and then went back over scrubbed area with a steam mop. Worked great with no residue on floor. I found the scrubbing action to be very robust. My dogs track in a lot of filth from outside. This is exactly what I needed to fill the gap between the steam mop snd ghe Spin Wave. I love it.

Great product
this product served it’s purpose well. It is very easy to put together and is extremely light weight. If you’re like me where I was not completely satisfied with the appearance of the dark Laminates (it seemed to lack luster) so I used Clean and Shine and then tried Bona. Still was not satisfied. Tried Rejuvenate which is GREAT except it does what you would expect. Starts removing the old wax to rejuvenate floor to a high luster. I had to remove all the wax and start over. It did the work with ease. Use it with Zep Wax Stripper for Laminate Floors and it was a breeze.

Did an excellent job on my hardwood floors!
I was not expecting much from this floor scrubber, but I was very pleasantly surprised! It really worked! My floors were in bad shape with lets of dark spots. I thought I was going to have to get them professionally sanded and refinished. I thought that if I bought this and it worked one time it was worth it, if it didn’t work I wasn’t out much money. It took two days and a lot of hard work but the floors turned out fantastic! They look new again! In addition to the floor scrubber, I had the right product to clean the floors and to bring back the shine, but without the floor scrubber, they would not have turned out.I highly recommend this floor scrubber. I am really happy that I bought it! In the end it ended up saving me money!

First off this is not a “commercial” scrubber which is obvious by the shipping weight and price. Next for “typical” cleaning it does its job but if you have some heavy duty scrubbing you need done then this is not the scrubber you want. Its easy to use, light weight and minimal assembly(handle) brushes/pads snap on so its simple. Overall I like it but it would be better 10lbs heavier

Bissell Big Green too light weight
As a former owner & employee of GE buffer (1971-72) US built. The GE residential buffers weren’t made of plastic. The residential Bissell Buffer is made of plastic. It is very easy to use. However, it’s too light weight & flips into the wood when you try to stand up to stop since their is no On/Off switch. It leaves a line. If it was heavier results would be better for cleaning/polishing/buffing. It’s ok but I must go back & manually touch up spots due to being too light weight. The Army taught us the right way to do this. But, I’m not getting Army results. Then again Army used commercial buffers.

Smaller floors ok
It’s too light for a floor with deep build up but for minor jobs it’ll do. If you need a large area or real deep cleaning, this is definitely not the one. On and off is a little tricky at first because when you pull the handle down, machine turns on and when you put it back up, it goes off. But, you get used to it.

Great Product for Light/Moderate Home Cleaning
I purchased this item while recovering from shoulder surgery, and was able to operate it one handed, so I am sure the next time will be even better. It is easy to operate and did a great job on lightly soiled tile and grout, much easier than a scrub mop. The only reason for the 4 star rating is that I would have preferred it to have an manual on/off switch versus engaging (pulling handle from a locked position) the handle to turn on/off, it’s a bit awkward and the machine jumps as the cleaning surfaces are still rotating. You will need to use additional cleaning product and mop after scrubbing is complete.
