Good Product
The canopy is easy to install and fits well on the Summit X3. The only thing I do not like about it is that they covered the upper window. Had they used the clear material rather than the black fabric I could keep an eye on my little one without having to walk to the front of the stroller.

Covers the stroller well but the holes for ventilation are small and minimal. We had to poke additional holes so our child would not overheat. Not great where there is a lot of humidity. It just fogs up.

I do not remember snagging it on anything and am positive no pets of little people got a hold of it — was beyond disappointed. So I contacted Baby Jogger and they sent me a replacement. Lo and behold, just a few weeks later after one use, I noticed a large tear in the plastic! Totally unprovoked — did not snag it on anything.I love Baby Jogger, but this is a terrible weather shield.

Holes all over plastic
Ordered this a year ago for a trip, cancelled trip bc of Covid and never opened sealed in box. Opened today for Disney to use and the entire thing had holes and rips in plastic. Never took it out of box until now. Don’t always trust an unopened box I suppose! So disappointing!

Bueno, yo la compré con miedo después de ver los comentarios y debo decir que por el momento no tenemos quejas, la llevo doblada en el bolsillo trasero del summit y está perfecta. Después de utilizarla siempre la dejo secar al aire en sombra y la doblo bien. Antes de utilizarla apliqué un tratamiento protector al plástico que otro usuario recomendó por aquí. El ajuste es perfecto, no se moja nada por ningún lado.

It fits perfectly, is great for running in rain, or even just when it’s wet out and prevents splashing puddles from soaking the seat. It velcros up either side of the handle and a loop under the front of the buggy, making it very easy and quick to put on and take off. Good quality and fit for purpose

This product is poorly designed. We are already on our 2nd one and again the plastic clear stuff has torn along the stitching leaving it useless and no longer waterproof.

Pretty disappointed. On the box this cover MUST have ventilation flaps as described by picture and manual – (3). In reality it does not. I attached pictures of this $ 85 dollars item and $ 15 no-name generic cover with white mesh breathing flap I am using now..How I can get Amazon to replace it with proper one? SOLUTION TO YELLOW, CLOUDY VINYL
I purchased this cover for a Summit X3 stroller. It works great! It works great – keeps the weather out and your little one snug and happy.HOWEVER – after leaving this wet and crumpled up in the car a few times, the previously clear vinyl got horribly cloudy and yellow, to the point where it couldn’t be used anymore. After some research, I learned that inexpensive vinyl doesn’t have any sort of UV protectant or sealer on it and is prone to this sort of damage.I was able to restore, refresh and protect the vinyl with a liberal application of 303 Aerospace Protectant. It’s great stuff! It cleans the vinyl and provides UV protection, extending the life of your cover. I easily applied it in about ten minutes (during nap time!) and my cover is almost like new. I’ll reapply regularly to keep the vinyl supple and clear.My cover does have a small rip in it along the zipper, but that was entirely my fault – you have to take the cover off before folding the stroller.TL/DR – A great product, but Baby Jogger could use better quality vinyl. Fix cloudy vinyl with Aerospace 303 Protectant, and reapply regularly.

This is the second windshield I bought. The first one lasted for 3 years, after which we lost it. So we bought a new one.Four months in and it has a good number of holes on the edge of the plastic and the zipper. See attached pictures. And no, it wasn’t the kids, poking their fingers in it. It just fell apart! Quality has surely gone down, and while it was already expensive, the near 40 USD for a product that lasts 4 months is a very poor value for money.I would highly discourage people from buying this, if the quality does not improve. The first one was fine, the second one a total bust.

Very good rain canopy. Keeps my child dry!
This rain canopy does it’s job well. My son stays dry when we walk out in the rain. The canopy has air holes on the sides, near the bottom, but it can still get hot in the “bubble”, as we call it. If it’s not raining extremely hard, I can usually unzip one side a little bit to give him a little more fresh air and he still stays dry. It has dual zippers so you can open either side or leave a section open toward the top of the stroller (though I don’t because the rain would more likely come in that way). With the cover on, the stroller canopy stays open but only 2 panels, rather than all three. The only thing I don’t love is that the part that covers the canopy seems like it could be more waterproof (or they could have just made it plastic as well) and if it were plastic you would still be able to use the windows in the stroller canopy. It’s slightly annoying not being able to use the stroller canopy windows to check in on your child when you are used to having that. However, it’s not a deal breaker. Overall, I highly recommend this for the Baby Jogger Summit X3 stroller.

Great fit, but lacks durability, quickly yellows and becomes brittle
We purchased the cover for our taking with on a trip to the Pacific Northwest with our 1 year old and Summit jogger. Knowing the region in the spring we anticipated having some wet weather and wanted to be prepared.In the end we did not face any wet weather, so the cover stayed packed up and unused during the trip. In fact, after returning home it ended up in the back of our van, ready for when we may need it.Fast forward almost 18 months from when we purchased it… I decided to go for a jog with some gentle rain and mist and try out the cover.The cover fit great, but upon unfolding it I immediately noted how yellowed and cloudy the vinyl “window” was. I also quickly noticed (before any attaching to my stroller) that the vinyl window had numerous holes, cuts, or tears. I have to assume it became brittle with age (maybe some amount of heat… but it was just in the back of our van in MN).Overall it still provides some protection, but in any real rain it would leak badly and I worry it is lacking any durability.

perfect fit
Got this so I could still take my 18 mo old out for a walk when it’s raining. it fits my Summit X3 perfectly. The only reason for the 4 stars is that the black portion covers up the viewing hole so I can’t see what my kid’s up to. It means I need to stop and look around more often, which is annoying. How hard would it have been to put a little square of the clear material to line up with the viewing window in the canopy?

Best Chicago winter purchase by far! My toddler was always cozy in his stroller with this rain canopy. I love that it attaches under the front of the stroller completely so it doesn’t flap around in the wind. I agree with other reviewers that it needs a cut out for the window, but other than that it is perfect!

We use this stroller multiple times a day, seven days a week. Its sturdy, smooth, and worth every penny we paid for it. Now that we’re in Seattle, this Rain Canopy has been a godsend, as I can still go running regardless of the weather, and my son doesn’t get wet. Highly Recommend!

Horrible product. Very poor quality. The plastic material looked old / dry and at the very first use, it simply cracked, with several holes. The worst thing is that I faced a very strong rain and my 3 years daughter became completely wet. Baby Jogger strollers are great, but this weather shield is a waste of money.

Very disappointed in this weather shield. I usually like Baby Jogger products, but this has broken twice. Both times the clear cover tore at the end of the zipper. Not worth the money. The company needs to put a piece fabric their with heavily reinforced stitching or change the design to open easier.

We bought the Weather Shield in November 2017. The plastic cover got discolored and very fragil within a month and one time use. The plastic shield is milky and has multiple tears, only from having it rolled for storage. Bad quality of the plastic coverage. Absolutely not worth the money.

Cloudy with holes in it after one use.
As other reviewers have mentioned, this cover is not worth the money. I used it once in November shortly after purchasing it, and went to use it again recently and it was cloudy and degraded with several large holes in it. It is completely useless now. I am very disappointed.

Like many other reviews I’ve read on this product, after minimal use, the plastic has become cloudy meaning our little one cannot see out, nor can we see him. We’ve tried to clean it using a plastic cleaner, with no success. Bizarrely, the clouding appears to be on the inside. We live in a warm climate and have only used this product 5 or 6 times. I simply cannot recommend a $35+ product that becomes unusable within 12 months.As usual, Amazon were terrific and refunded us. We’ve yet to find an alternative that fits our Summit X3 stroller.

Not sure how it passed quality control
I was extremely disappointed when I received this item. When I opened the box, I could tell that it was in poor shape but that doesn’t even begin to describe the mess that was this weather shield. It had completely broken down and was a shredding, yellowing, and ripped disaster. I went against my better judgement after reading other reviews and purchased it anyways. I love Baby Jogger products and have never been disappointed, this was a HUGE let down.

It’s the worst thing that I’ve purchased
It’s the worst thing that I’ve purchased. I bought it like a month ago and placed it under the stroller so it would be handy when we needed it. Last week it starts raining so I grab the weather shield to put it on the stroller. After only having it a month, the clear plastic was brittle and falling apart. It looked like swiss cheese with all the holes. I’m so disappointed with the quality.

Product shipped very slow. Then when it FINALLY arrived the plastic was torn at the stitching seam out of the box. Looked at review online and there are plenty of complaints about the plastic being brittle and fragile. Contacted the seller and never got a response.

This cover is poorly made. I purchased the first one and it ripped on both sides within 2 weeks. I was leaving it on the stroller when I would fold it down. I purchased a second cover and took it off the stroller each time before folding it up and it too ripped on both sides within 2 weeks. I am really disappointed :(. The stroller is fantastic…I expected way more from the cover.

Give yourself a favor and save 40$ because this is the cheapest rain cover I have ever seen. Yes it fits nice my Baby Jogger Summit X 3 stroller but after few weeks is yellow. Plus materials used to make it is paper thin and it rips so easy. This is worth maybe 5$ not 40. I must say I’m very disappointed because Baby Jogger makes awesome strollers and I would expect better quality. Poor
