My favorite for freshly healed tattoos
Tattoo GooPros:Scent (I like it, Eucalyptus-y?)Easy to spread. Thicker than a lotion but easy to spread even on freshly inked sensitive skinPerfect for travel or taking to work/wherever you may want something during a long daySeems good for colorCons:Scent (it has a scent, many products don’t and you may not want a smell)Expensive. Over $11 an ounce, even doing thin layers it doesn’t last terribly long for larger areas. The cost per ounce and how long it lasts and why I took off the starLubridermPros:Very inexpensive and available everywhere. I’m seeing $0.11 per ounceEasiest to spread as it’s a water based lightweight lotionScent free, leaves no residue or stickiness or tackinessGreat for freshly healed, long term, non tattoo’d skin, any dry areas, if you are only going to get one for cost or simplicity get this one.Cons:None really. It is thinner being a lotion and whether there is anything to it or not, on a fresh tattoo that needs healing I prefer something heavier, a balm or ointment, to feel like I”m leaving a slight protective layer (very slight) vs it all just absorbing in and being “done”. But really, absorbing in and being gone is probably what you actually want so Lubriderm is just really good especially long term as it doesn’t leave any perceptive residual residueHustle ButterPros:Vegan, Scent FreeColor pops (might be psychological)Feels the most protective when applied to a fresh tattooFeels like it stays around and lasts longer per applicationCon:Much harder to spread than the others, difficult to get full coverage on larger pieces especially without irritating the skin with the amount of pressure and work needed to spread the product out thin enough. On a fresh tattoo I feel like I’m either irritating it with too much spreading, or it’s on too thick. I don’t use it on fresh ones any more due to this.Price is middling at $4.75/oz right now, not badAquaphorPros:Price is very good at $1.35/oz right now, and it’s available everywhere in different sizesEasy to spread, yet thicker and feels more protective than a lotion. Goldilocks consistencyScent FreeCons:Leaves a little more residual residue than you might want for regular long term use, I think Aquaphor is exceptionally good for fresh and healing tattoos but Lubriderm lotion is my favorite for regular long term use.

It’s bigger than I expected.
It says 7 ounces, and that’s exactly what it is. But I was trying to map the size of the bottle in the picture to what I’ve seen in the CVS, so I expected it to be smaller. It fills up my hand and I need to use my whole hand to hold it. I worry about cross-contamination, so I squeezed a bunch out into a little empty lip-gloss jar.

Works on all skin types
This is always my go to for any of my scars after an accident or procedure that requires some form of ointment. I bought this for my husband, after he got a cut that required stitches over his eyebrow. 2x’s a day for a week. You can barely tell he had a cut there. This ointment relieved him of any itching and helped promote the healing of his scar. A little bit goes a long way with the ointment. It’s not greasy and leaves the skin feeling soft and nourished. Definitely would recommend.

I didn’t realize the tub was going to be this big but I’m not complaining! If you’ve ever seen My Big Fat Greek Wedding. The dad with the windex is me with the Aquaphor. I recommend it for anything but mostly chapped lips!! I have very sensitive lips and aquaphor is the only topical lip product that doesn’t make them swell!

It works, use a small amount
The media could not be loaded.
This product came highly recommended by a family member and I have been in search of a product that would be good for my daughter’s eczema. I have tried countless things, and I thought that this would be the one to help improve her scan. However, it flared her skin up more. I’m not sure if there are any synthetic ingredients in the product, however it made her skin more irritated even with a small amount of usage. So I’m back on the hunt for another product that may help to improve my daughter‘s skin. It did however, work well for me I like it as a temporary fix for my chapped hands, and feet, and even my lips .

The holy grail for chapped lips!
I don’t know what black magic is in this tube, but it WORKS!I used to have the most chronically chapped and peeling lips ever. I tried everything – drinking tons of water, applying Chapstick, Burt’s Bees, Carmex, O’Keefe’s, and even Vaseline throughout the day…some brands were better for my lips than others, but I always had to re-apply them anywhere from hours to minutes later. The peeling skin was always there, the chapstick just kinda stuck it down, but eventually the chapstick would dry from my lips and the skin would come up again.I could never wear lipstick because it looked awful with my peeling skin. I developed a nervous habit of chewing on my lips, trying to bite off the peeling skin, which of course was a vicious negative spiral which caused my lips to peel more and eventually bleed. The only relief I could get was with super hydrating lip gloss, but then my lips were glittery and super shiny and wet looking, which made me look like a teenager lost in the 90s. I wanted matte-lipped sophistication, damnit! Then I tried Aquaphor. I figured, why not, I’ve tried everything else, and this big tube is pretty cheap. When I first opened it, I thought it was basically repackaged Vaseline based on its consistency. Vaseline hadn’t worked for me in the past so I was a bit disappointed, but smeared a little on my lips right before bed anyways. The next morning, my lips were still moist from the product. I washed my face and wiped off my lips. The dry, dead, peeling skin from the night before had been moisturized into goo that just wiped off, revealing seamlessly healthy skin underneath. No cracks. No edges of dead skin that would start peeling again. Just perfectly moisturized lips like all of the advertisements that I had told myself were photoshopped over the years. I couldn’t believe it. Was I one of those people with good lips now?? I thought I had been genetically doomed!I brought the big bottle of aquaphor with me to work, thinking I would need to reapply it to keep my magically healed lips moisturized and happy (after all, even with the most moisturizing chapsticks I still had to reapply every couple of hours). I didn’t need it the whole day, even after eating and wiping off my lips. The cracks never reappeared, my lips didn’t dry out, no dead peeling skin in sight! I started wearing lipstick sometimes, never having to worry about it collecting on my dead flakey skin. Now, all I do is rub a thin bead of Aquaphor on my lips right before bed (it only takes a little – this bottle is going to last me several years!). Sometimes I get so used to healthy, uncracked lips that I forget to use Aquaphor for a few days, and then my lips start peeling again. All it takes is one application at night and they’re back to being healthy and moisturized again! I squeezed some Aquaphor into a little contained to bring with me when I travel, but I don’t even bother keeping it in my purse any more because I never need it throughout the day. I used to buy chapstick in bulk so I would always have one or two in every purse, upstairs, downstairs, in my car, at work, or anywhere I’d be. No more! This humble product has changed my life!

Very good product for healing your skin
I found out about Aquaphor years ago when I went to a medical office to have a skin peel done. They put aquaphor all over my face after the procedure was done. Aquaphor stays on the top of the skin, and is very moisturizing and soothing. I bought this for my husband who is had cracking heels because of the dry winter weather. I put the Aquaphor on his heels and then had him wear some special socks that have gel and keep the Aquaphor on the skin. After just one night, he says it feels better, and less sensitive. If you have an abrasion, dryness, or something irritating on your skin, put some Aquaphor and a bandaid, that should help.

Great Value!
So I actually bought this mainly for my lips. I’m one of those lip balm addict types of people lol.If you’re like me- I will say this ointment works wonders on my lips and makes them soft and hydrated in a way that the little tube of Aquaphor lip repair simply can’t do. Much less greasy feel, and I don’t have to reapply nearly as often. It also leaves them feeling smooth and leaves the results lasting longer as well, making it well worth the larger size. Definitely would recommend over the tube of Aquaphor lip repair, especially for anyone looking for an actual solution to dry lips as opposed to just a temporary fix.

Cannot Use For Daily Moisturizing
This was great for helping to heal cosmetic tattooing. I like squeezing out small amounts to a q tip as needed. Tried it for a moisturizer, but it is just too heavy for my skin. I need non comedogenic products. I use it multiple times a day for lip moisturizer, and will use when I get my cosmetic tattoo touch ups.

Very moisturizing
I use it on my lips every day before makeup or even just by itself. It has a good gloss and reos y Leah emy lips feeling chapped. I also use it after I take off a pimple patch and it goes away the next day without scaring. It’s also a very big bottle so I think it’s worth every penny.

Only thing I can put on my face without breaking out
Aquaphor is nothing short of a skincare miracle. As someone with sensitive skin, this moisturizer has become my go-to, and for good reason. It’s hands down the best I’ve ever used. The formula is gentle yet incredibly effective, providing intense hydration without causing irritation. What sets Aquaphor apart is its versatility. It’s the only product I trust to soothe and nourish my sensitive skin, whether it’s chapped lips, dry patches, or overall hydration. The consistency is rich without feeling greasy, and a little goes a long way.If you have sensitive skin or simply crave a moisturizer that delivers results, Aquaphor is the holy grail. It’s a staple in my skincare routine, and I can’t recommend it enough.

Healthy product for healthy skin!
I’ve been using this product for years. I usually buy it from the drugstore, but I got it on Amazon with a gift card. It came packaged well so the product didn’t leak or damage anything.I use this on tattoos (fresh and healed), cracked feet, and cracked lips. I tried a couple of different oils that are marketed for their moisturizing effect on feet, and none of them worked. This was exactly what I needed! It healed blister scars, calluses, and more. My feet look like a commercial. I use it 2x a week right before bed and after a shower. Now that it’s coming into the cold, rainy fall season—you NEED this product. It leaves your skin feeling oily and doesn’t absorb into your skin (hence the 4/5 stars), so you only need a little bit.

Pack of 2 ??
Nice big 7 oz but the product title clearly says pack of 2 and I only received 1 in my delivery. Either way I love this product and it comes in handy every cool season. But I do think the caption to this product needs to be updated that way no one thinks they are getting a pack of 2 of these 7oz tubes.
