All good apart from two things
Straight out of the box the picture isn’t great – you will need to play with a lot of settings – but once you’ve calibrated the image it’s actually very good. If you’re using this for games I can recommend it, as long as you do enable some of the display features. It supports VRR so great for Xbox Series X which is what I’m using it for. There are only two down sides to this monitor – 1.) the sound is so low and tinny that it might as well not have any speakers at all. Seriously the inbuilt speakers are not good at all. It DOES have a 3.5mm headphone socket but again it doesn’t output anywhere near enough volume. Even at 100% volume it’s barely ok. So you really must have external, powered speakers if you’re using this for any sort of gaming on console or PC. Gripe number 2.) the menu system and controls are infuriating. In setting it up you’ll turn the monitor on and off several times. So if you can live with external speakers and you’ve got the patience to set up the gamma etc then it’s a bargain display. Got mine for £159 and genuinely it is a lot of screen for the money. Just don’t expect to watch Netflix on it and be able to hear it.

Good budget monitor
It is a basic monitor for a good price. As it is a basic VA panel it has ghosting, so it is not really good for gaming. The colors, refresh rate and resolution are also limited, so I would only use it for office work.

Works for my needs
Replaced a rtn Philips monitor which didn’t have speakers. The price was very good at time of purchase. Sound quality is fairly good, not great stereo level but works well in watching YouTube or a DVD on PC. Picture quality good and function buttons on bottom ok. NOTE there was a CD supplied, although screen worked straight off I placed this in PC and found it would ask to over right PC info in certain areas. So don’t use unless necessary I’m sure it would have its uses somewhere. The stand on mine is fixed which in hind site may have preferred a tilt option. Did want curve but for my budget and with speakers not quite within reach.

Decent picture, completely useless speakers
I bought this monitor on Prime day for £79.99, it’s really impressive for the price, the picture quality is good and the viewing angle is also good.I bought this for my son for use with an Amazon fire tv lite as a cheap 1080p TV in his bedroom and for that, it’s actually pretty decent.Having built-in audio is handy but only for the fact that I can use the headphone socket to plug in some external speakers as the built-in speakers are completely useless. They are on the back of the monitor and the volume is incredibly quiet even at full volume. I wasn’t expecting much from them to be honest but they’re worse than I expected and are pretty much useless.Overall though, the monitor is really pretty good. I wouldn’t use it for graphics or video work but it would be totally fine for general computer work. I haven’t tried the game features it has with a games console but I can imagine that it would be passable. For what I paid I think it’s incredible, apart from the built-in speakers.

Fine for work; poor for media
It is what it is. A cheap (well, I got it for £85 and wouldn’t be happy paying much more), small monitor for a basic setup. The stand is just about stable (though kudos to AOC for putting VESA holes on the back because a lot of bigger brands don’t at this price point) but non-adjustable and not rock solid. The design is nice. It’s not the thinnest you’ll find, but thin enough and most super skinny ones don’t come with VESA holes. The bezels are pleasingly small. The controls are a bit fiddly, but if you’re buying this you won’t be playing with them much past setup anyway. It’s 1080p with muted colours so the display isn’t going to win any competitions, but it’s not designed to. If you need a monitor primarily for documents and the like, this will do. If you want something for gaming or other visual media, you’ll need something more. For comparison I linked it up to a 50″ 4K TV and the difference is immediately noticeable, but of course the TV was £400 so you’d hope for that.I bought it for a family member who’d never do anything more exciting than watching a Facebook video on it and it’ll do them fine. I wouldn’t buy it for myself, but I need better colours and 4K for my media. If you don’t, this is a fair enough little monitor. On the plus side, it came with a VGA cable which I wasn’t expecting, and a European and UK plug which was nice. It’s going on a small desk with limited space so say an extra £15 for a cheap VESA arm and I’m perfectly happy with it. It’s just nothing to boast about.

Disappointing
A budget level monitor. Great value for money but for me it simply did not have the picture quality I had hoped for. Same brand as my other, more expensive model, but a less acceptable match in terms of colour, sharpness and control of settings. Also a rather flimsy stand although once set up that shouldn’t be a big issue. Returned.

This monitor is NOT 75hz
Although I think this is a very nice looking monitor, I cannot get it to go into 75hz. Luckily I am only using it as a secondary display. So since my main monitor is 144hz I dont really care what this monitors refresh rate is since it will only have discord/a web browser on it most of the time anyway. But be aware if you are buying this monitor as a primary display, it is not 75hz. It maxes out at 60.

Excellent. but let down by switches location
Superb picture and fully worthy of 5 stars, with one, to me, major exception. The tv controls are underneath the bottom right hand side of the screen, as they have ben for some time. However, now, there is no indication as to exactly. where. Previously it was printed on the front face..But overall, a superb machine, with excellent value for money.Unfortunately can’t give it 4.5 stars.

Good monitor for the money
I’m quite impressed. The colours are good, it’s nice and clear, no screen tearing and flicker free as the product page promised, so thumbs up for that. I would have given it 5 stars except for the OSD buttons are a little fiddly and there’s no vertical height adjustment on the stand. It tilts very slightly, but does not move up and down. From base of desk it sits on to the top of the monitor it’s 47 inches tall.Note, does not have speakers but it’s thin and lightweight which was more important to me. Inputs are VGA and HDMI.

Good picture otherwise not great
I picked this one up for my daughter for her Switch and PC (my old PC that’s being repurposed). However, I just couldn’t get the DVI Port to work. A shame as it’s a decent screen, with speakers. The sound’s not great – never is with inbuilt ones – but perfect for her Switch games. However, as we could only get one input to work (tested with multiple cables and two PCs), it’s going back.In addition it kept tilting ever so slightly to the left, enough just to be annoying. There’s no tilt adjustment on the base so I can only assume it’s just a quirk. I’d give it a twist to make it level, then come back ten minutes later and it had settled at an angle again. I thought I was going nuts until I checked with a spirit level!

Low price, good performer
For the purchase price (£75) this is a very good value monitor, 24″ VA screen that’s bright and vibrant, perhaps a little too bright and vibrant but adjustable and perfectly acceptable for the price. Very lightweight, basic stand and VESA mounting screw holes, 3 inputs (VGA. HDMI and Display port, means you can use this with different devices if that’s your thing. 2 tiny rear mounted speakers are not much use other than windows sounds/notifications so expect to use something better if you need half decent sounds. The viewing angle isn’t bad, the pixel pitch is ok, it’s noticiably less sharp than my Dell ultrasharp monitor but that cost more than double the price so expected. Even comes with an HDMI cable in the box.For a cheap, no nonsense screen, it’s excellent, for those that want the best image, look elsewhere (and pay more)

Impressive monitor, good value.
I recently bought an AOC widescreen monitor and was so impressed that I bought this regular 24″ to replace one of my older monitors. Both monitors look great, even when turned off as the bezel is tiny and flush with the screen. Like my other AOC monitor, the image is crisp with no dead pixels. The backlight is very even and the image is viable from a wide range of angles. This would make it great for use in portrait view (coding). I’m tempted to replace my remaining two monitors with these as well. Highly recommended!

Good display, poor speakers
I like this display after configuring it to my liking, the speakers though are not useable even to watch YouTube videos they aren’t good enough, they’re very quiet at max volume. However for the £120 I paid, this is good value for a qhd 27inch display which looks good, I’m using a cheap USB speaker with a USB extension cable from my pc, and that works well for me.

Perfect budget monitor
There’s not a lot not to like about this monitor.I bought this as an additional monitor to my laptop for gaming during holidays back home. It does the job brilliantly, although I haven’t tested it on intense games, but for slow paced games like XCOM, and American truck simulator it does the job perfectly. Initially I thought that the 2560×1440 won’t be enough for more estate hungry applications like 3DSmax and photoshop as my main display at home runs at 3840×2160, but does the job fine, although (and quite logically) you will feel a bit confined in space at first while working.Packaging:Brilliant packaging, a tiny bit bulky BUT, the kit includes everything you need to set the monitor up and have it running in less than 5 minutes:An HDMI cable is included and you get 2 mains cables: One for UK use and one for European countries, which was a godsend as I moved this monitor abroad! Well done there AOC, huge kudos for that!Ergonomics:Only 2 degrees of freedom in adjusting movements: tilt back and front and left and right. Unfortunately you cannot adjust the height. Fortunately I solved this by putting it atop a small but deep baking tray. My mom’s still looking for that tray but hey, I got my display on the correct height. Also the function buttons are underneath and it gets quite a bit to get used to in order to navigate through the various menus.Image quality:if you are on a budget and cannot spend a few hundreds for a spare monitor, this is total value for money! I would even buy this for normal everyday use like web browsing, words, excels, emails and watching p0rn of course. It does all extremely well that and leaves the competition behind by at least 20-30 smackaroonies.Bear in mind though that this is a £120 monitor, and performs excellently for that value. It is NOT a gaming monitor, so do not expect super performances from it.Extremely pleased with it, I would like at least one extra powered USB port on it, but you can’t have everything. For £120 this is a blind choice for a budget monitor. I think after the holidays I will buy one or two more to accompany my main display at home.Invest without fear on this.

Value for money
Despite reading mixed reviews I decided to give this monitor a go anyway as the price was too good to pass up on. I ended up buying two for under £260!For the money they are absolutely superb. I am only using them as second and third monitors so the 75hz refresh rate was not a factor for me. I have paired them along side a dell monitor and they match up pretty well due to the frameless design.Despite what others have said, the settings are fine out of the box and I haven’t needed to adjust the settings as of yet – the screen is nice and bright. The stand is the only thing that lets these monitors down as it isn’t great quality and not very sturdy, however, this isn’t a factor for me as I’m using a separate stand. For the price you can’t go far wrong!

Great for Office work. Bad for gaming.
The screen does what it says. Only problem for me is the occasional black out once a day. But it comes back on in a sec so I’m not bothered by it as much. I mainly use it for office work and editing. I would not recommend this at all for gaming. Speakers are very bad too but again, you aren’t paying for good speakers at this price point anyway. Overall for me it’s a solid 9/10 for the price. Would definitely recommend.

Solid monitor
Using it as a secondary monitor and it gets the job done. My main monitor is highly colour accurate, so seeing them side by side I can tell the difference but for the price it’s really good. It goes up to 75hz too so for casual gaming it’s better than nothing, but I haven’t used it for that purpose.Only down side could be the selection of ports (one hdmi and one dvi, would be nicer to have 2 hdmi ports instead)

Great at this price point
Perfect size and height with decent forward/ backward adjustment (tilt). So easy to put together – one-click and the stand/base is on. Decent connections with 1DP and 2 HDMI but the case below the ports can make it a tad fiddly to fit some cables depending on design. Standard headphone jack. They have the world’s tinniest, useless speakers though. I use separate speakers so not an issue but beware if on a budget and planning to use in-built speakers.Good colour and resolution. Can appear a little washed out in bright light. Not good enough quality for gaming IMHO but perfect for my use as office monitors. Thin bezels are ideal for 2 side-by-side. Decent range of controls on the actual monitors too, just tad fiddly but same with all monitors in my experience. At this price point vs. quality I’m happy and would buy again.

A bargain price but maybe not such a bargain after all
I loved the price for this model compared to others of a similar spec, but the first thing I noticed is the monitor swings about side to side in it’s base mount. There is nothing to prevent it, then I noticed it does not have the ability to tilt the monitor. I use the monitor for CCTV so I am not using it daily, but a gamer would need to buy a suitable stand or vesa mount (at extra cost). The bezel is narrow, so for someone using two or more monitors mounted together side by side, the wide picture will not be much impaired so from that paint of view it is excellent design. The monitor is VERY light which makes handling and mounting on a stand very easy. I found the poower button and other controls, eventually and they are very discreetly hidden under the bottom edge on the right side, and since most people are right handed this makes perfect sense, glad I am not left handed. The input ports are openly visible on the monitors raer panel, I am not a fan of connectors poking directly out of the back it makes cable tidying a pain. I have purchase a couple of 90 degree adapters for the HDMI and Power ports since I have experienced this problem before. The picture is rock solid, not a trace of a flicker, colour is great and I might even say vibrant. All in all not a bad deal but the monitor has a few minor design issues, but none that can’t be overcome easily and frankly it does it’s job perfectly , I like it.

Legacy PCs carry on!
I bought this flatscreen monitor to enable me to ditch an Iiyama CRT which still worked but took up a lot of real estate on an old square pine desk. I was looking for VGA and DVI inputs in order to plug in both a 25 year old Dell Win 98 PC (bought new and cost £2k!) and a 20 year old Mesh Win XP PC (bought second hand). Ideally, I also wanted a more up to date input option for future use. With the HDMI socket as well, this monitor solved all my problems.I wasn’t sure what the AOC would make of the 4:3 input from the Dell, but having configured the resolutions for each PC, the AOC automatically resizes when each input source is selected. RESULT!The base is somewhat flimsy and adjustment is limited, but othersise it does the job. Having a flatscreen display also enabled me to ditch the old desk and get a shallower one which fitted in better to the room layout. Charity shops are doing well as a result! Very pleased.

Top Quality Monitor
It’s a terrific monitor. Just brilliant. For the price. Unbelievable really. It’s so light. I mean weight s maybe 3kg. It gives you the ability to take it around the house. The stand is good. It adjusts (a little) it has speakers (serviceable) ok that’s the points that are average. It’s the quality of the screen that grabbed me. The settings are great if hard to get at. That’s what really surprised me. After years using laptops (horrible display) I am now getting a new lease of life out of old laptops. This is saving me and the planet. It has so many uses. The quality is top notch. This device is a winner.

Very good monitors for the price, change your settings
I picked up 3 of these for my home office/gaming area and they’re a great value option, the stand is very basic but would do on a monitor shelf, given the price, size and quality of the panels, it can certainly be forgiven. The panels are surprisingly bright and vibrant but not out of the box, for some reason they default to a washed out profile until you force 75hz in your graphics settings, which causes them to switch and look great, they’re very underwhelming until you do this, I’d have returned them and bought something else if I had the picture they started with. The speakers are an afterthought, the one I use for work it blown away by the speakers in a MacBook Pro but they’d do to get you by.The frameless design is much more impressive when they’re off as the thin bezel looks good until you realise the actual screen is further from the bezel than that.Given the price, light weight and decent vesa mount, these are a great option for getting more done with multiple monitors. They’re not great on inputs, the VGA is there for legacy support, a connection that can’t even push the native resolution. A single hdmi, rather than two or a DVI connector is a loss for those with multiple devices. On the whole I’m very pleased with the quality for price here.

Good, but it is 23.8” NOT 24”
Good price for money, and even though the difference is minimal, it is a 23.8” screen not 24”, so less stars for misleading.
