Dogs love it
My 2 dogs love this food! The previous food that one of my dogs were on, barely ate the food. Once I switched to this one she eats all the time and has gain weight. My dogs had flaky skin and a dry nose. Within the 2 months the skin and nose is back to normal!

Chicken is used in the Lamb and rice
My dogs did like the dog food. The problem is one of my dogs is allergic to chicken. It did cause him some discomfort, like scratching his nose more than usual. If you have no worries about allergies, this dog food is fine.

Usually amazing, think I got a bad batch this time.
The media could not be loaded.
This product my dogs have always LOVED! For the last 2 weeks though, they refuse to eat from this bag. If it was just one of my pups, I wouldn’t be concerned. I would assume it was a tooth problem or something else health-related. Both my dogs devour anything and everything……including leaves and sticks. They have puzzle bowls because they eat everything way too quickly. For 2 weeks now, they will hardly touch this particular batch. Even if I put it in their crates overnight (unheard of), they won’t eat it. They flip the bowl over, gently move the kibble around with their nose, and bring me the kibble piece by piece almost as if they want me to inspect it. I’m wondering if this particular batch may have been expired or made incorrectly. Ive bought some other kibble just to test out if it’s behavior/health related, and they gobbled the other food right up. Would someone be able to check on this for me. I’m just a little worried.

Good product overall
I’ve been ordering this product a few months and my dogs really like it. It comes quickly and securely packaged. I’ve been happy with every order except for the last one. The bag arrived having been ripped open at the bottom and taped with packing tape. I paid for a sealed, new package. Id never order open bag food for my pets. Really disappointed with this order and that an employee decided this was ok to send this way. Otherwise I’ve had good experiences.

Makes her vomit
My dog has really bad allergies. So bad that she has been on Cytopoint injections and Apoquel. Those meds can affect the liver when used long term so we’re trying to stick with other ways of managing the allergies. I’ve tried several foods for the recommended minimum of 6 weeks for several months. Took me a while to find this Wag food as substitute for a more expensive brand keeping in mind the metabolic aspect with her liver enzymes. Well, my dog doesn’t care for the taste but she eats it. She rather eat the Liver prescribed diet but it makes her itchy. Wag causes my dog to vomit. And it’s not just regurgitating the food within an hour from ingestion. This is more like vomiting several times and feeling miserable for hours.

Affordable, great quality dry dog food by Amazon
My large dog is a very picky eater. He doesn’t really like dry food and won’t eat just any canned food. I have to cook for him. Recently we dog sat my friend’s dogs who only eat Blue Buffalo dry food. I discovered that my dog actually doesn’t mind eating it (every other day). But this brand is so expensive! I decided to try Wag with Lamb flavor. My dog liked it too! Wow! And we have a lot of stray cats here in Florida. I offered a bit to a cat. He has been coming back every day meowing at the door asking for Wag… I may have to check if Wag has cat food now. 😆 PS: I forgot to take a picture of the product, let me upload a pic of my dog for now

Best discovery, my picky dogs love it!!
I was tired of paying between $80 and $100 for premium dog food on Chewy and. I had no idea that Amazon even made pet foods. Despite buying the top rated dry food from Chewy my dog’s coat was dry, and no matter how much I fed her ribs were sticking out. So I decided to try the Wag salmon and brown rice, and my dog’s coat is now shiny and soft as silk. She has also gained weight considerably,I feed her 1-1/2 cups in the morning and again in the late afternoon. Helpful hint: I add a little hot water to the dry kibble, and it makes the most delicious gravy which my dogs love and they wolf it down and are so happy afterwards with a yummy tummy that they pass out for a nap. Nothing makes me happier than knowing I am feeding them great quality food at an affordable price. It lasts a long time and goes a long way. Definitely recommend!!

My dog is not feeling well after eating this food
My dog is not eating their food. We tried to add treats and other things to the dog food but something in here upsets her stomach. She is a rugged dog and has eaten a variety of types of dog food from kitchen scraps, science diet, merrick, blue buffalo, purina and she is fine. But there is something wrong with this dog food.

TRUSTWORTHY INGREDIENTS
I use 70% human grade items for my dogs food but do think it’s important to have a bit of kibble to keep the crunch and teeth clean. I don’t trust some of the big name brands that put made in USA but ingredients are sourced mainly from China. So far the salmon kibble seems to be well received by my picky dogs. I have tried removing as much chicken and chicken related ingredients from both of their diets because it’s commonly linked to skin allergies which both of them have dealt with for quite some time and even take Apoquel for several week periods at various times throughout the year. After 3.5 months of feeding this kibble with the Honest Kitchen Dehydrated Base , Bone Broth Powder mix with water and freeze dried liver, they have not taken Apoquel in 2.5 months. The price isn’t cheap but it isn’t overpriced either. I’d say it’s very fair for the product received. If you are looking for a decent dry food on the simpler ingredient side, give Amazon Wag Dry Food a try. Dogs are better than people and should be fed accordingly:)

My picky boy likes it
I have bought my boy just about every dry food you can imagine. Lots of money wasted I wish you could get samples of dog food. I pour it into the bowl and when he doesn’t like it, he starts to push it across and then tips it over not very much fun for me and another bag wasted because places will not let you donate if it is open because of crazy people that might do something to it.The only one I ended up really buying him lasts forever because he doesn’t like it. I have to mix it in with chicken to get him to eat it. I really am hiding it on him. This food is working. I just ordered my second bag in a short period of time. I was going to buy Nutro again then I saw the advertisement down below for this and decided to try it. It has a six dollar difference and I checked ingredients for ingredients and I feel that this one has better. My picky boy still gets his chicken, but I am adding more of this each time. Usually he will leave this go back later only if he is really hungry, but he is started eating it all together. Chicken is good but I feel that something like this gives him nutrition he doesn’t get from just chicken.I would definitely tell you to try it. I get the lamb and rice because he always had a sensitive stomach.

Has chicken fat in it
I have a German Shepherd, who has an incredibly sensitive stomach, not unlike many of his breed. Chicken seems to be something that makes him very ill, and unfortunately, the chicken fat that is in this food was enough to become a problem for him. He is also my second dog that has had EPI, so I did a lot of research on the food, and it seems like a good quality food. Unfortunately, he just couldn’t tolerate the chicken, and I had to move him to a lamb only food.

Freshness
I recently purchased a 30 lb bag of Wag dog food. I was admittedly surprised when I opened the bag and realized it was not a ziplock bag. The kibble seems very powdery which I’m not used to. I don’t have a container big enough to store 30 lb of food, and I question if it will remain fresh before its gone. Dog food has become quite expensive, and since I am on a small fixed income, I was searching for a more inexpensive product. Since I’ve only just started transitioning my dogs, I will hold my comment at this time about the quality. They have been having some digestion issues, and I’m hoping this brand will be better for them.

My picky golden retriever will eat it
I can’t attest to the flavor but my picky golden retriever eats it, he doesn’t get excited about it but in all fairness he doesn’t get excited about any of his food, treats…yes but not food, but he did eat it and I have tried some new brands he wouldn’t go near so that makes this a winner in my book, the ingredients are good, I like that it has beef and rice, a lot of golden’s don’t do well on chicken due to allergies.

Yum yum I love eating this dog food!!
I don’t actually eat this dog food, but my dog loves it!! She has been eating it all her life, although we switched over to adult food, and then back to puppy food, as she is a small dog and it is easier for her to eat the puppy food. (She is a YorkiePoo around ten pounds) Very great price, has never before upset her stomach. I recommend all small dogs the puppy size regardless of age, as your dog will find it easier to eat the smaller pieces. We have it on our subscribe and save order for every three months, and it lasts well for that amount of time.

Highly comparable to blue buffalo!
This item is so similar to Blue Buffalo that my dog did not have any bowel changes after switching to this food. Highly recommend. My dog seems to think it is very tasty. Be warned the salmon flavor is a tad stinky.I want to address some of the other comments that mention that the food causes vomiting and diarrhea. Dogs have sensitive digestive systems and all dogs usually get diarrhea after starting a different food. Please educate yourselves by talking to your vet about your dogs health before you continue to switch their food and make the problem worse! All dogs vomit occasionally, for seemingly no reason, esp after starting a different food or being fed a human food (most people feed their dogs toxic food on accident all of the time). Talk to your vet or do a simple google search for a vet forum to find out what dogs can and cannot eat before you toss them your scraps.I stopped using this food not because it made my dog sick, on the contrary I noticed that my dog loved this food and had digestive issues less than when on any other food. I had to stop feeding it to her because it caused her to gain weight and the serving sizes on the bag seem to be a typo.

Great Quality!
My dog was refusing to eat his food for a long time and I would have to make him food (rice, eggs, meat, veggies). And then I tried this dog food 3 years ago, it was the ONLY hard food he would eat! I tried 3-5 different brands from the store and he refused them all. This was it. He’s been eating it since and it is amazing. He loves it. The ingredient list is good, it doesn’t start with “by product meal”. This and the waffle treats are his absolute faves! 10/10 Definitely recommend!

Shrinking content
I receive this dog via a subscription, and I have received it that way for quite some time. While the price keeps increasing every month, the amount of food in the bag is shrinking!I used to get this delivered every 3 weeks, then I cut back the (measured) amount of food I feed my dogs daily so I moved my delivery to every 4 weeks instead. That worked fine for several months, but then all of a sudden last month while still feeding the dogs the same amount daily I ran out of food 3 full days (6 meals) before my food was due to arrive. I anticipated it was going to be short so rather than cancel that order, I ordered a small (ridiculously priced) bag of food to get us through until our subscription delivery. Now this months bag I anticipate will run out a full 6-7 days before the subscription bag arrives…extremely frustrating that I can’t just order what I’ve been ordering and rely on the bag holding the full amount of food that I used to receive. So now I went in and changed my delivery back to every 3 weeks until I can find find something more dependable but will have to either cancel this months order and place a “buy it now” order, or buy another over priced small bag to get me through! This really negates the convenience of a subscribe and save if the content amount varies so much that you have to figure out what to do when you don’t receive enough food to get you through the month!!

Much kibble disintegration
My dog eats this up.I adopted her after she was tied to a tree for 4 years was fed only table scraps. It has been difficult to find a dry food that she would eat.She ate right away, but I have a big problem with the amount of powder (disintegrated kibble) in the food. It is about 20%. She won’t eat the powder. Is this because of rough handling by the delivery or is this normal?

No chicken byproducts
My Frenchie is allergic to chicken, but if you read labels, even “beef” dog food has chicken byproducts. Chicken fat is not a protein, so that’s okay for her. This food also has whole grains. Studies show that dogs on a no grain diet have higher incidences of heart problems, so my vet doesn’t recommend the ” no grain” foods. Wags lamb and brown rice fill the bill.

Diet Food?
The food I normally get for my dogs has been out of stock for two months, so I got this as it looked like a healthy alternative that would ship fast. However it looks like this food is for dogs on a diet. My Rottie has slimmed down, which wouldn’t have been a big deal as he can get overweight pretty easily and ends up getting to the other dog’s food when I’m not looking, however he’s the most slim I’ve seen him now. However the reason why I’m particularly upset is because my Great Pyrenees just had a huge litter of puppies and needs to continuously eat to put back on some healthy weight and be making enough milk for her puppies. She eats so much a day but is pooping much more frequently, and can’t seem to produce enough milk no matter what. She now goes and whines with her puppies as if she’s sorry she can’t do much. I have formula to give them, but beyond that she needs to put back on weight after birthing so many puppies, and she’s been eating this food sometimes up to 5 times a day and is remaining slim, and with the evidence of my Rottie slimming down on this food, it looks like it’s some kind of diet dog food. I really wish that would have been written in the product description somewhere as that created so many problems and concerns for me. Otherwise the dogs seemed to like the flavor and all, so I can’t complain about the rest of the product and advertising, but otherwise I’m incredibly disappointed and concerned.

Great for Dog with Sensitive Skin & Stomach
I adopted a dog with Pyoderma, which caused skin rashes all over her belly. She’s itchy all day and night, especially BAD at night, so no one is getting any sleep. 😳The vet prescribed medications & a special diet. I apply coconut oil on her everyday. After a month and half, her condition clears up & ready for normal dog food. After reading other’s reviews, I decided to give Wag Wholesome Grains Salmon Brown Rice Recipe a try. Sooooo glad I did!!! My dog has very sensitive stomach & throws up all the time, but NOT with this dog food. She has been eating it for 2 months now and she’s super happy, energetic and best of all, sleep through the night without any itches.I also love the subscription service so I don’t have to get a big bag to avoid running out.If you have a picky eater who never drinks any water like mine, I do add unsalted broth or porridge to the dry dog food.
